We were here in September 2023. This was the best gnocchi I have ever had. The service was very good as well. It's a nice family owned restaurant that is very good. Our waitress brought us a shot of lemon cello when we were done. If I were to ever make it back to Geneva I would definitely go back.
Incredible food, amazing service, and very friendly staff. The food was also very reasonably priced. Would 100% recommend it. Twice we celebrated our kids' pizza party on Sunday afternoons and evenings
The pizzas were fabulous! We were a group of 4 and tried 3 different ones, all were really good. The service was a bit strange - kind of standoffish and it felt like they forgot about our table for awhile after clearing our dinner plates. We wanted to have a digestif but just opted to get the bills because they left us alone so long even after we asked to see the dessert menu. Would go back because I think the pizza was worth it, even with the uneven service.

Packed restaurant in Geneva which doesn't take evening reservations, so get there early! We arrived 6:30 and it was full shortly afterwards. Buzzing atmosphere, slightly chaotic, food superb and service efficient amidst the business of the establishment. Lots of menu choice, good value for Geneva, our best meal of our trip.

We have had a risotto alla Milanese and spaghetti Aglio Olio. Risotto had no safran and was made from the simple rise which on top of it was overcooked. Spaghetti was extremely salty and spicy. It is not an Italian food. I wonder how you can spoil such a simple dishes? Either the chef never tried neither risotto, nor spaghetti or they simply don’t care. In any case it is completely disrespectful to the client to serve this gruel and call it the food. The service is “Geneva style” you have to ask for the ice few times, several times for a water etc…and at the end of the day we all get used to that type of service…but when considering the food…no, it become unacceptable. Sorry.
I had dinner in a group of 10. The person who served us was so friendly and kind in accommodating the big table outside. He patiently took our order one by one and still made joke here and there 😁. I ordered lasagna and it was DELICIOUS! A good amount of beef and cheese, a thick and flavorful sauce. It was made fresh. I enjoyed devouring it! I ate it with a glass of light beer. The overall price was reasonable for Switzerland 😊.

So glad we waited for a table here (as you cannot book in advance). Da Paolo's on a Sunday evening was a superb experience and ended off our stay in Geneva perfectly. Attentive table staff, absolutely wonderful atmosphere and fantastic food. Highly recommend the Lemon Meringue Pie!

Delicious pasta and very kind staff!
This place did not disappoint! The ambiance is incredible. The staff are very kind and attentive. The prices are very reasonable for what they offer. They start off with drinks and bread. They also provide parmesan on the table for you to self serve. The food is incredible and every bite was perfect. They are very busy as they are a popular spot, but you can likely get a table without a reservation. This is absolutely a spot you should see in Geneva!

The pizzeria lies a bit outside the city centre. The pizza I had was reasonably good. Not the best ever, but definitely had way worse. Personnel is quite fast and competent
We had a quick pizza dinner here. The pizza was good, service was attentive, and it's run by Italians. They speak several languages. The stand out dish was the tiramisu for us, but we did notice other tables getting the pasta and it looked great! If I go back, that's what I'll try. Recommended!

Decent wood fire oven pizza close to the jet d'eau, you can also take away and eat by the lake on a sunny day.
We ordered aglio e olio and a pizza and we were less than impressed. The pasta was so spicy I couldn't finish it which I have never experienced with aglio e olio ever before. Theres no indication on the menu that it is about to set your mouth on fire and the server didn't warn me either. The pizza had tomatoes and onions dumped on it which seemed odd considering the other photos on the reviews, as they all looked so good. The staff were really friendly and they did give us an ice-cream to compensate for the pasta. Maybe just a bad experience but there is far better Italian restaurants in Geneva
Came here with a large group. The food was quite nice although took a while to arrive. This is understandable though as the group had over 40 people in it. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the server was very professional despite the size of our group.

I visited this Italian restaurant based on a friend's recommendation, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The overall experience was great, from the moment I walked through the door to the moment I left. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff was welcoming and attentive. As for the food, I had the pleasure of trying their seafood pasta, and it was absolutely fantastic. The flavors were rich, the pasta perfectly cooked, and the seafood fresh and flavorful.

Hi, to be fair, I'll not compare it with other countries. I was traveling from Zurich & Baden, where I had a very good experience with Italian food restaurants, I almost tried everything and appreciated all of them. So when I went to Geneva, I definitely looked for an Italian restaurant to take dinner 🍽 and I found this restaurant well rated! But frankly, it was the worst seafood pizza I ever had 🥵 it was abnormally big, very thin, very poor of ingredients, and burned. Also the service was very bad,cold, slow and if you don't ask the waiter they don't give you anything.

I visited Casa Nostra during lunch service. Language barrier aside, the food I had here was by far the best Italian I've had outside of Italy. We had a pizza and a pasta and both were freshly prepared and tasted absolutely divine 🤤👌🏻 We were also offered a home made chilli paste which was delicious, but it did leave my lips on fire for the next several hours 🥵 Despite the slightly slow service on a lunch service with only a handful of tables, the quality and taste of the food certainly made up for it. I'd highly recommend Casa Nostra for an authentic Italian experience 🇮🇹🍝🍕
I’ve been here a couple times before, and the experience is usually a solid 3 stars given food quality, service, and value food money. However, I came in on a Thursday evening to get 1 takeout pizza (which still cost 27 CHF btw). It took them a full 30minutes to make one pizza, which normally is OK for me. But what bothered me was the fact that 6 other white Europeans came in after me, ordered after me, but all got their pizzas before me 🤔. They only got to my pizza when I was literally the last person waiting!!! Given the plethora of equally good, if not better, restaurants available in the area - would not recommend.
Amazing place with nice food. Very fast service with friendly staff. The opening time is great as they open while many restaurants in Geneva are closed between 2-7pm. I Loved the homemade Fettuccine Alfredo, the amount is very fulfilling!
One of the oldest pizzeria in Geneva. They provide an outstanding service whole night long. They have best pizza in town and spaghetti with vongole. I wouldn’t change this place to any trendy places in Geneva. Old is gold, isn’t it? 😊🤗
Really good Italian restaurant, with genuinly good authentic cousine from Italy. And I can say that, cause I'm Italian. If you want a mouthwatering pizza, get the Pinza (I believe it's made with sourdough).

The best pizza I've ever had! Delicious food lots of choice with friendly staff! We have visited twice since being in Geneva and we would highly recommend! Fresh pizza made in seconds thanks to to glorious brick pizza oven! Seating is snug and was very busy on a Saturday night but still enjoyable.
Looking about for just a solid place to get dinner in the middle of a work trip and weekend vacation in Geneva and La Trattoria was exactly what we needed. Walking distance from the business district across the lake from Old Town (and easy walk from train station). Generous portions made it a great value and the delicious food made it a great dinner. Good wine selection, large menu, and attentive (if a little grumpy) staff... The appetizers were large enough to be a meal on their own (fresh salad was very fresh and the "focaccia" was the size of a pizza). My wife's pasta was delicious as was my entrecote in mushroom sauce (I ordered a tomato based sauce, but was happy with the substitution honestly). And the dessert was fantastic - chocolate shell around gelato melted with flambé orange liqueur making for a wonderful orange/chocolate sauce. Highly recommended!

The main issue in my case was that they had no vegan options at all in the whole menu. I asked the waiter and he came up with a focaccia with tomato which was ok but come on. We are in 2022 & there are still restaurants like this one that don’t have vegan items in the menu. Unacceptable.

Lovely place, just off main traffic in Servette. Terrace in the back is great, pizza are lovely & specials (plat / dessert du jour). Some gluten free dishes too!

I almost grew up in this joint, I left for 15 years and when I vame back everything tasted the same, pretty sure the waiters are the same too. What can I say, this is arguably the best Italian in town, I just love it.
It’s conveniently located and it’s fine for emergency. Considering Geneve pricing, it’s reasonable. My pasta was okay. Chicken cutlet was better. Wine was good! Their credit card machine was not working and I had to go to ATM on the street nearby. I didn’t feel very safe being late at night but a friend of mine accompanied me and everything was good.

Waiter is cold, refuses to give me a table outside even though they are free ones. Then when I ask for tap water he refuses, although I had tap water the last time I came. I tell him this, he dismisses it, has the audacity to tell me " bottled water or no water ". At that point I just got up and left.

I wish we had more time in Geneva to go back to this place, it was that good. We shared pasta and a frutti de mare pizza and both were delicious. Ended the meal with some amazing gelato. The service was great!

Besides that it’s extremely noisy and crowded with no organization whatsoever, the waiters and staff made the experience even worse by walking around screaming all the time behind us, constantly making loud noise out of the kitchen that made us have headaches.
And when we asked to wrap half a pizza that remained as a takeaway, they wrapped like a kebab instead of simply putting inside a pizza box!

This restaurant was a block from our hotel and it was rated well. We made a dinner reservation on-line since we were going on the weekend. We enjoyed our food and service. We noticed that they are very busy with people picking up pizzas to go so we are assuming that their pizzas are delicious.

Nice restaurant - Location is great for travelers, just few steps from the Gare Cornavin. For people coming by car there are few parking spaces on the road, if not the easiest would be to parked at the Gare Cornavin or École d’ingénieur. Waiter was really nice and helpful ! The menu is full of options, but you guys have to keep some good space for the amazing and yummy tiramisu - mascarpone !!! Enjoy your meal and of course, highly recommended !

I think one of the best pizzas in town. Also doesn’t hurt your pocket. It’s my go-to place whenever I crave pizzas. Also, super friendly staff, always with smiles. Highly recommended
Great flavours. I had a salad, gluten free pasta with scampi. Would have been better if there were more prawns. The flavour was excellent. Portion was huge. Had pear and grapefruit sorbet as dessert and they were both superb. Really enjoyed it.

Road isn't very busy, really only delivery drivers. Pizza is quite nice, but not 5 stars because not best pizza. Staff was also quite nice and didn't rush us out.
It is a lovely restaurant. It has a good menu and the food is delicious. The service is exceptional with friendly and professional staff. I recommend for a nice dinner with a pleasant environment.

We got schooled by the lead waitress that our children (1 year old and 2.5 year old) had made a mess at the table.
Well, it took them 45 minutes to serve us a bowl of pasta for our kids. The food, especially the pizza was sub-par and we didn't say a word. There were 2 occupied tables and they prioritzed the take-aways to the dine-ins
We apologized for the mess our kids had made and she started schooling is on how she had kids and her kids would never make a mess like this! They are one and 2 for heaven's sake ( and I was here all proud that they were eating independently!)
Never again to this restaurant.. not even if it was the last Italian restaurant in Geneva.

It has some really good vegetarian pizzas. The staff is really welcoming and nice. I have to try the pasta yet but looking forward to it. The spirits and the beer are really good. Definitely worth going again and again.

Nice cosy place with warmly staffs. Food is scrumptious. We ordered 3 dishes. All of them were pretty good. Child friendly place. The sitting arrangements are outdoor during summers and indoor during winters. The price is little high but it’s worth every penny. No specific enfant menu but they alter the main menu according. So I highly recommend this restaurant.
Came here for dinner because of it's proximity to the lake. The Italian food was authentic and tasty. My family has only praises for this restaurant. Staff, friendly and helpful. Had great smiles on faces. Prices - my opinion reasonable for the generous helpings of each dish.

The two dishes I can remember are
- the pizza buffalina which was a delight with fresh ingredients and a lot of taste. As good as the one I had in Roma.
- the lasagna also very tasting and completely home made in my opinion.

The place is not that big, and it is always full, even on weekdays, so it's always a good idea to reserve a table, especially if you plan on going in a group. The menu is ripe with choices: meat, fish, pasta, pizza, veggies, offering some timeless Italian classics and some dishes mixed with a more Swiss tradition. But the real queen of the menu is their pizza. It's possibly the best Italian pizza I have tasted here in Geneva, baked in a wood oven, soft where it needs to be soft and crunchy where it's supposed to be crunchy, full of flavour, full of options for toppings. A note regarding a wonderful thing for coeliacs and people intolerant to gluten: they make, by far, THE best gluten free pizza I have ever tried, following a personal pizza dough recipe by their own chef. There are also gluten free options for pasta. To top it off, they serve a few fantastic desserts. All this keeping the prices more than honest, especially considering how expensive a city like Geneva can be. I cannot recommend this place more!
Normally don’t see it on the menu, but this truffle pasta is everything! So freaking delicious!!
A crispy fish with potato fries is 'fish and chips' not 'filet of perch'. I can't eat gluten and received the dish, however they wouldn't take it back and forced me to pay for something I can't eat. Won't happen in any other country in the world.

I’ve had pizza and salads here, not bad at all. However, service was below average. The waiter spent most of the time serving and chatting to friends or regulars that I had to ask for everything 3 times. Throughout the night, we were trying to get their attention for the menu, for drinks, for dessert and for the bill, while others were who arrived after us were served so quickly that they had eaten and left before we got our mains. Food was decent but the service ruined the dining experience.
This place seems intimidating when you approach because it looks a little fancy. But once in, we noticed that the prices are attainable and even more so, the portions of food are incredibly generous. I am so impressed that I can easily recommend this place to anyone. Excellent food and experience!!

Excellent family run restaurant. Great menu with lots of specialities of the day. Warm welcome , great service, and fantastic food is to be found. Am here 1-2 a month and can recommend this establishment! Essential place to eat if you wish to receive the customer service that is hospitable and friendly.
Unfortunately I don't have pictures of dishes, I just took a quick picture of a wall painting (I found it interesting since this is a neapolitan restaurant but the gondola is from Venice lol). Having said that pizzas were awesome and all food was delicious. A bit packed as a pizzeria but 4 stars well deserved. The owner and all workers were very friendly. Not that expensive (by geneva standards of course). It was overall good. 8 out of ten so 4 stars.
