I want to give our Porsche brand ambassador / sales advisor, Jorge Delacanal a huge shout out. This is about an experience I encountered between March-October 2023. Having dealt with Acura, Toyota, Hyundai and Chevy dealerships, I have to say, working with Porsche is a whole different level of class. Going into a Porsche dealership to confirm our first custom-order Porsche vehicle felt intimidating at first, but Porsche Plano treated me with class and respect as a first time Porsche buyer. How? I initially reached out to Porsche Plano back in March 2023, after configuring a 2024 Porsche Macan T for my wife on the Porsche USA website. Jon Griggs connected me with Jorge Delacanal and my appointment was set for April 2023, timing it with me flying into TX to work on our new home over one weekend. At the dealership, Jorge pulled up my configuration using the Porsche Code and we went through each and every single option together. He recommended that I leave off a few options to save money, such as: torque vectoring option (since the car will be my wife's, and she feathers the pedal lol), heated windscreen (since Texas winter is mild at best, and short) and a few other options he deemed unnecessary based on how the vehicle will be used. Rather than load the vehicle to the brim with unnecessary options, Jorge took the time to go over each option and provided me with his personal opinion, which I 100% appreciate! This tells me he is knowledgeable about what he sells and he cares about his customers more than making a sale. Once the options were confirmed, he asked which allocation works best for me (he had one in May and one in July, each with an 8 week build time). I chose the July allocation since the car would arrive just in time for our anniversary in August. I signed the paperworks and the rest was history. Immediately, I started receiving updates from Porsche regarding the current status of the build, and continued to do so until August, when the car was completed in Germany and on its way to the Houston port of entry. Once at Houston, the Macan sat there for about 2 months with other Porsche vehicles, due to supply chain issue relating to port-installed components. During these two months, Jorge kept me updated, and gave me an estimate on when to expect the vehicle. It missed the delivery window of our anniversary, but that's completely fine and worked out even better. Once it arrived in October, Jorge set an appointment for me to come in and take delivery. On the day of delivery, he sent a Lyft to pick me up and I spent about 30 minutes with the finance department (just as classy, didn't upsell me on GAP insurance, extended warranty, or anything else I didn't need), and about another hour with Jorge giving me a full orientation on how to use the Porsche and its interface. He's aware that it will be a surprise for my wife, so he even offered to end me a plastic bow (which he advised me to place on the windshield instead of the hood, to avoid scratching the paint). Since I already have a bow at home, I did not need to borrow one. I did all the gruntwork in acquiring the car and Porsche Plano and Jorge made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable, unlike other dealerships. Most importantly, my wife absolutely loves her new Porsche.
Keep in mind that I placed the order in early 2023, at the heat of car shortages and the car market was prime for ridiculous markups. Porsche Plano added zero ADM or BS fees that ran rampant with other dealerships, especially CDJRs. I paid MSRP and I told Jorge I'll be back in 2 years to discuss 911 allocation.

My service experience was great! Dillon my service representative went above and beyond to ensure the vehicle was repaired and the warranty company took care of the cost. Dillon's communication and keeping updated was phenomenal.

I really like working with Scottie. He doesn't try to force me to do extra work that isn't needed right away and is generally really nice to work with. I’ve been going to Porsche of Plano for the past few years and I was previously going to a European shop when living in north Houston, and I find the prices to actually be totally fair at the dealership/Plano location. Also, appreciated the customer service of dropping off my car since I couldn't come in due to work. Planning to purchase another Porsche when I buy a new car due to the quality and customer service here!

Good experience and good communication. I would actually leave 4 and 3/4 stars if possible. The only issue was the tow service that was referred to me by them, charged about double the amount it should have been. I should have asked about the cost but since they were referred I was expecting a good to at least fair price.

I have always loved Porsche. I will say, now, I love Porsche Plano. The service is unmatched. Jorge was so attentive and had great good communication with us regarding different vehicles. I will tell my friends and family to shop here for their cars. Ask for Jorge! Everyone was always so friendly there, so it was nice place to visit.

We had a wonderful experience at Porsche Plano. The whole process from the first visit was excellent. I met with Jorge Delacanal, who was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He took great care of care of me, and was very helpful. Once we purchased the car (Porsche Cayenne), the trade in and pick up was seamless. Not only am I thrilled to have this car, but working with Porsche Plano, and specifically Jorge was fantastic.

I purchased this brand new, $100k car in June 2023, have driven it less than 5,000 miles in nine months, and it's been back at Boardwalk for service four times now. The last time it was delivered back to me from service was last Thursday, then, when I got in to it to drive it this Sunday evening, the SAME problem it's been to service for three times already happened again. Unacceptable. I, am, DONE with this car AND this dealership.

This was my first service at Boardwalk on my 2020 Quattroporte. Joaquin was my Service Advisor and he was always in contact giving me information on my services needed and what was complimentary or warranty. Plus, some of the messages were a quick text which is efficient for me during the workday for brief information or decisions to be made. I also got an incredible loaner car and the Customer Lounge at the Dealership is Top Notch. Great job to Joaquin and the other staff at Boardwalk!!

I love this place, very clean and the espresso coffee is amazing. The service is really awesome. in the last month, I had to do some work on my 2019 Maserati. Joaquin, Paul, Dilon did great job supporting me along the way. they went the extra mile to get things done. They also set me up with a loaner when needed. I appreciate all if your hard work on this.

My service advisor Paul, wasn't very good. Terrible attention to detail. I had to ask him over and over again the same questions, and it was on email, so you'd think he could refer back to things. When my car was done, he didn't get it washed, didn't have the paperwork ready, didn't close up the electrical panels in the trunk, didn't re-adjust the head-unit and never told me about any service items. I emailed him after that with these concerns.............NEVER got an email reply or a phone call to apologize. World class service?
