If you’re looking for a bit of an adventure, this is a great idea.
We took the special kitfo (minced meat with collard greens and cottage cheese with herbs) and the chicken (doro awaze tibs) with onions and tomatoes.
Everything is served on top of injera, a sort of sourdough pancake. You eat with your hands and it’s really meant for sharing. It’s simple food, but very tasty.
We tried their house made honey wine: also super interesting.
Definitely some of the most unique cuisine you’ll find in London!

Average chocolate cookie and nice double chocolate brownie
Was expected much better.
Cookie is super dry, nice chocolate but overall very average home made cookie
Better brownie quite moist and good chocolate taste, then again giving the corner piece is not ideal at this price…
Expensive 6,15gbp for both
Not worth it I think

Very nice dim sum, lovely and airy space with a nice view of the harbour. Service is good. The food is what you would expect at Renaissance.
Big thumb up for the baked barbecue pork buns topped with pineapple crust, very so delicious, succulent. Will go back as it was overall a lovely lunch

Delicious.
Went around wanchai and picked pineapple buns, char sui buns and egg tarts from ABC, Pak see kut and from happy cake.
Apart from the pineapple bun (I preferred Pat See Kut), Happy cake shop’s items were so yummy. The char sui bun was really well filled and the bun was perfect. A must try. The egg tart was outstanding (personal preference the classic one than the cookie base one although very nice).
Tried also from them the century egg one, the lotus and egg yolk one, the red bean bun and the lotus one, all very nice. Do go and try everything it’s very yummy and cheap. Cash only for the moment. No English description so hoping that google translate did a good job!!
