Great place to bring family friends and burn some energy either outside or inside. Even adults can be entertained if you try. Is it expensive? Yes, so we bought season passes so we can come back again and enjoy seasonal events. So depending on what and where you live you may want the season passes or just visit one attraction. If it is for kids then visiting the children's museum is a great option. Looking for something outdoors then visit the outdoor garden. If you want to learn something visit the butterfly exhibit. Lots to do and learn!
Check out my other specific reviews, posts, and pictures to learn about each individual attraction.
Great place to explore and for kids to learn. there were pull out drawers for interesting facts, an aquarium, outdoor roof, and so much more. I really liked the albino alligator! We went in February on a holiday weekend. It wasn't too bad but we still had to wait in line to buy tickets and some activities in the academy were full and we could not access it. I would highly recommend buying tickets in advance and going earlier in the day. We went the last couple hours of the day so mind when you go during the day. We went at 2 PM and had to wait in line to buy tickets into the academy. It was 50 dollars per adult and it was cheaper for kids. Then you also had to pay for parking so it felt like a money pit. But I would do it again with my kiddos, I would open more budget wise when going. I didn't put too many pictures because being there is better than looking at the pictures.
Free and fun to explore the history. It is not too big, there are two levels but the downstairs is very small. I loved the back history and conflicts that occurred. Great place to bring kiddos to see how the cars work! Great learning experience. I would have liked someone there to ask questions and give feedback. We went in the morning around 11 AM on a Sunday and it was somewhat busy.
It is at the top of the macey building on the eighth floor. Keep going up once you reach the 7th floor to find the cheese cake factor. I liked the overlook of the city where people could eat and enjoy a decent view. We arrived around 3 and it was pretty busy. But we were able to get a seat pretty quick. They took a bit long to come out with our two orders, but the waitress did a great job checking on us and getting us a second round of bread.
