Beware- I got really sick after eating here. I picked up some sushi and prepackaged food for the microwave. I heated it up and ate some of it there. It wasn't long after I got home that my stomach began to growl and I was on the toilet for hours.
I've been to Tokyo Central numerous times on Artesia and never had anything like this happen. Could be an isolated incident but I wanted to warn others. If You don't have a strong stomach you might want to avoid the prepack foods. It wasn't the California roll because I never got to that part of the meal. Maybe the Eel sushi. Or maybe it was an MSG load from the fried chicken stuff. Well regardless, I was sick as a dog and will never do that again.
On a positive note I really like this store for all the hard to find options like powdered Ginger and my favorite hoisin sauce. (got them 2 stars)
Confucius say one should only consume fresh sushi...

Beautiful expansive clean and safe! Sometimes the shower works sometimes it doesn't. Good swing set and during Peak Seasons there's always a lifeguard or two in the tower! A nice place to take your kids. Parking is by meter so bring your change! You'll also find a great liquor store and grocery Deli right up the hill perfectly located for a snack on the beach.

Visited my friend in his new upscale Beach bound apartment. So jealous...
A great pool area and a tenant private beach. Nicely located next to the Redondo Beach breakwall surf spot. Very cool.
