Crystal Cove Apartments

It has taken me a few months to write this review because I am in denial that I don't live here anymore!! (I moved to Europe for MBA school). I spent 2 wonderful years living in Apartment #219, with a gorgeous view of Palos Verdes and the ocean. I could hear the waves crashing and the seals talking as I sat in my apartment... it was a dream -- no where else in California can you get the experience that Crystal Cove gives you. The location is 5 stars, the amenities are great (pool, clubhouse, gym, private door with direct access to the beach!!), and every apartment is kept to the highest standard (I was extremely impressed with how good the maintenance team is (thank you, Spence!!) and how they are constantly updating apartments with the newest/best features). When I first moved into my apartment in 2020, they did such a good job renovating it that it seemed like it was brand new. Every person I met at Crystal Cove was friendly and welcoming. From my first day to my last, I can truly say it was an enjoyable, relaxing, safe and friendly place to live (even throughout the peak of the pandemic). Matt is a fantastic property manager and it is clear that he genuinely cares about every tenant on the property. He goes above and beyond to make it feel like a community. I always felt like I was being taken care of anytime I needed anything, he responded within seconds. I especially appreciated that he lived on the property because I knew he cared just as much as anyone living there that it was a 5 star living experience. I will continue to be in denial that I no longer live here, and would recommend Crystal Cove to anyone looking to move to the area. I can honestly say that living here MADE my time in the South Bay and I could have easily stayed forever. Thank you to Matt & the entire Crystal Cove team.

I only spent a year at CCA, but I had a good experience. I didn't hear my neighbors or find the walls too thin. The elevator was out maybe once that I can remember. Kim was always in a hurry, but she was never rude. I always found her responsive.

Kim has ZERO manners or tact. She needs to go read a book about customer service basics. There’s a way to get your point accross without being brass, inconsiderate and straight up rude.

Crystal Cove is a Great place to live. Just steps to the beach. The sunsets are amazing, especially riding a beach cruiser with your friends on The Strand. There is free Internet in the lounge where you can kick back relax, watch tv or if you are like me studying for your certification renewal for work. There are a lot of friendly neighbors here. Say hi and you're sure to make great friends that you'll call family. A lot of things to do on the weekends and the weekday. To the north you have Hermosa Pier and to the south you have Redondo Pier. A lot of restaurants to go to. During different times of the year you have free concerts and activities to do. The best part about that is you don't have to find a parking spot because you have gated entrance with your own spot. If you want to grill there is a little park not to far from Crystal Cove called South Park. There is picnic tables and charcoal grills scattered throughout the park. I hope you call this home and become part of the family.

Great place to be on / near the beach. Right on the bicycle paths. An older apartment complex with too many coats of paint and other expected problems, but my view and location are worth it!

Visited my friend in his new upscale Beach bound apartment. So jealous...
A great pool area and a tenant private beach. Nicely located next to the Redondo Beach breakwall surf spot. Very cool.
