This 5 stars is rewarded to the excellent service provided at Rhodes Liquorland today Sunday 18 Feb at 2pm. He welcomed with a hello and smile as soon as I arrived in store. I was looking at the back and he actively came over to check if I needed help and provided recommendations when what I wanted was sold out. Not often you go to a bottlo and get great service like this!

Great selection of wine, beers and ciders
I love these guys. I've been coming to this place for a few years. Alcohol prices are great, but cigarette prices high. Still, lovely people and a cosy little shop
Very poor selection and unlike Dan Murphys where you can just become a Dan Murphys member to get member prices you are forced to become a Woolworths rewards member to get member prices. Last time I ever use BWS, Dan Murphys had it for cheaper anyway and has a way better selection.
Nick is probably the most lovely person you will ever meet. He is welcoming, friendly and a beautiful part of the community.
Stop using Drive Yellow as your delivery partner. They are extremely unreliable and never deliver. Issues every single time we order.
Really unhappy. Been standing outside for over 20 mins waiting for a staff member to return. They left a sign saying back in a tick with the time 7.55pm and it’s now 8.25pm. Going to be late and have to leave. About 10 ppl have come, waited and left. Unacceptable
Very unhappy. Waited at BWS lygon court for ages for a staff member to return. Left and went to this BWS only to find this staff member had also left. Their sign said 7.45pm and it was past 8.30pm. What is going on with your staff!! You lost a lot of business as a result as many customers came and left

Very disgusting customer service by one individual, was very rude and ignorant. Accused me of stealing after I just purchased items and he couldn’t provide any evidence. I even gave him permission to pat me down. Putrid, didn’t even receive an apology.
Ordered 5 bottles of cabernet savignon on 25 May from Carlton BWS for a dinner tonight (Saturday). Go to open the first bottle to see I have been delivered Chardonnay...not a red in sight. Seriously poor and extremely disappointing!!!
Such a friendly owner and pricing is fairly good even sometimes better than the major liquor outlets

Their "specials" are only for woolworths members. The rest of us have to pay full price. Absolutely disgraceful. Won't be back.
How handy is this place? good selection of wines and beers. Super friendly owner, very helpful and when he found out I just moved here, we had an awesome lil chat. Prices were really good too. I shall get most of my treats here from now on. Always shop local when there is such great service

Is someone forcing employee to work there? I shop there at 7:51 pm got slab of corona. Guy in counter was soooo rude didn’t even speak a word at checkout too. BWS need to fix it. Not looking for any exceptional service as I myself work in customer service but just saying “hi” is basic

Very bad experience in customer service, by a guy looks like Asian Bangladeshi with glass have zero customer experiences need to teach him have got attitude problem while doing customer service. Need to be trained this staff.
The staff was not training well. He even don’t know how to sell gift cards…

It’s always closed with a sign stating “back in 15 minutes” they take longer than 15 minutes. Perhaps write on the sign what time you leave ?

Friendly staff but the business hours should reflect the usual midday closure.

BWS Kogarah is small but well-stocked. There are good promotions and loyalty points for Woolies customers. Friendly service.
went and collected some zero percent alcohol beer. I was wishing to put a remarks to have all the beer chilled if it is possible.
so happy to collect and the guy gave me those chilled bottle despite of me not saying a word. just so happy and pleased with this little perks. I always want an ice cold drink.. wine, beer, cola or whatever it maybe.
it really made my day.. the guy also placed my order inside a box which was really good otherwise, I’ll be carrying everything in my bag.

Great service and friendly staff. Located next to Coles so you can get your groceries as well in one visit.

I’ve been a regular customer here for years. Just shown the guy who works there my bank statement detailing a double transaction for the same day, time and amount. His only response is “Oh I wasn’t here that day. Maybe come back another day”. No refund offered. No apology. Nothing. Just lost a customer for life.
The closing time is inaccurate, they actually close cash sales from 9.45pm and card sales from 9.50pm. Would be very considerate to have realistic time frames on google, so you don’t waste your time on this store. Was also told by the cashier there was a bottle shop open till 11pm on Lygon street, which also wasn’t true. Thanks for the wild goose chase!
Good and clean bws. Well located on lygon, though good luck finding a park nearby! Cool room is always stocked up and the staff there are helpful, though seem like they need a bit more sleep haha.

I forgot my ID and so manager, Nick, refused to serve me (despite clearly looking older than 25). I take that it's his job but he was rude, curt and inhospitable. Power trip much?

Even though I didn't get the drink I was looking for, one of the staff helped me in purchasing an alternative. So the customer support was really nice.
Nice, quirky bar, with a cool shopfront decor. I was intrigued by the way they spell 'booze' as bws, lol. Good service at the start, but it was hard to get served after my first bottle of wine, they eventually told my boyfriend to escort me out. Weird. Fun night though
As a local Google guide I was very impressed with the professional services of one of the workers named Peter. I have been in retail management for over 20 years and very rarely have I ever come across such caring and friendly professional customer service . Peter is an asset to the company and I hope he is and will be recognized as that. I will be a returning customer and so will my family and friends.
The staff were very rude to me, especially that Asian guy. Aussie guy next to him was good he can understand better than him. I’m wondering why the staffs are very aggressive. Not welcoming, nothing. He said that his manager is very strict etc. perhaps, they should really solve their customer problems.
They sell the Best and good variety of wine . Prices are good and reasonable. Sometimes they are have specials on like you buy one and get on free .

There's no reason why I wouldn't rate this as a 5 star place as I was always looking to buy 0.0 beer and couldn't find it anywhere but now they offer not just a brand but three... Plus I've found the staff real nice and always there to help... Like so many other BWS stores, everything is nice and organised. Though it's located in a very busy location in Chatswood, I've never ever had to wait that much to scan what I bought thanks to the good work of the guys in there.
Rude self claimed manager who refused to serve even when ID is provided. No reason was provided and we were told not visit a store opened to public.
Absolutely shocking customer service. You should not speak to people like that and work in retail, will not be back.
Really good service, always quick to check in if you need a hand finding anything and additionally helpful in decision making and wine recommendations, I had no idea if the wine I had chosen was any good but they acknowledged the brand before I even got near the counter as a good choice!
Small but very affordable. Just don't expect a large range, but most items are catered for.
Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always a pleasure to shop here, but due to space limitations, the range is somewhat smaller than other liquor stores. If you just want the basics on your way home from work, this place is great. If you want to explore something new or different, chances are they won't have it.

I’m a licensee myself and I think the refusal was totally inappropriate.
But the fact of him telling me I have no idea and being completely rude about it was the upsetting part behind that.
A simple, ‘sorry house policy’ would have been acceptable, but he was calling me names I rather not repeat.

Fantastically curatored eclectic range at very reasonable prices. Shop here if you are sick of the big box wine offerings that all look alike and sell the same standardised rubbish.

Quick and easy service, staff are always willing to help and speedy checkout. Normal prices are slightly more expensive but if you grab one of their deals it's much more worth it.

Purchased a six pack of Carlton Draught from here last week and the beer was completely flat. Tasetd like urine, like it was ten years old or something. Very dissapointed.
