This pet stock was amazinggg it was so good they had everything I was looking for my dog and they had a lot of good quality range of products from toys all the way to food and clothes. And their service was great I took my dog to cut her nails and cut her hair and she came out perfect and it didn’t take too long of a wait.

Do not come here if you want your dog washed! . Brought my 2 dogs here and they left wet and humid. A day later they had a rash on their belly and were scratching like crazy. The older woman in the grooming section is so rude and unprofessional, absolutely scam! Go somewhere else to groom your dogs but do not come here!
We went in 'for a look' and fell in love with our new family member, Molly, a beaglier. The staff were wonderful in helping us - first time dog owners- and were excellent in follow up inquiries as we found our way. Molly is a wonderful addition, so friendly and so loved.
Our Monty was nice and clean, smelt great, and he was all trimmed and neat.

Friendly service and a great range of products. Staff are knowledgeable. Dog washing facilities and pet/ human laundry washing facilities as well.
Everyone is always so helpful, and always offer to look up my loyalty number so I can get the same flea treatment which I seem to be unable to remember after trying so many brands.
The staff were friendly, my cat came out looking relaxed! This was my cats first wash and trim, so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was hoping to be in there while he was in but they put him in the haircut area and said they'd call me when he was ready for pick up.
Leo showed such care and patience with me the nervous owner whose Havanese at twelve months was having his first experience of grooming. Then he showed the same care and flair with my dog.

What a great store! Very clean and inviting with a huge variety of stock. I made several purchases and as such was helped by a couple of staff members who were knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly. They have a wonderful space for pet adoption too and I watched as a staff member gave kindness and attention to a cat who was timid but warmed quickly to him.

sick birds. one of the females was so sick she couldn't even use one of her feet to perch and was breathing heavy, her wings were also positioned oddly (photo 1) and there was another who's back was kinked and his wing sat strangely as well as heavy breathing/tail bobbing (photo 2) (it's hard to see in the photo as his back wasn't facing the camera but you can kind of see how his tail bends to the side). i took videos of both of the birds to show how heavy they were breathing, but unfortunately google reviews doesn't allow images. don't buy birds from here, respitory infections are highly contagious in birds and even if you buy one who isn't displaying obvious symptoms like these two, they likely will in a few days as birds hide their symptoms until they're extremely sick as to avoid seeming like a good weak target to predators.

Can’t believe it’s 2023 and we are still supporting a business that is nothing more than a glorified shopfront for unethical backyard breeders and puppy farms. Think twice before buying a puppy from here as you aren’t only supporting puppy farms but you’re also potentially committing to dog that will have lifetime health issues.
The staff member who assisted me was honest and friendly, and happy to help me find what I needed for our chew-happy mastiff-x. Will definitely be going back to the Melrose Park store in future.
Have been going to get our Son’s dog Cooper groomed here since they opened the grooming section.

Have been to Gepps Cross and Port Pirie stores to get a specific dog food. Joined with Gold membership which has paid for itself and saved me $50 already in 3 months. Great value

Walked in at 1.30 , no service was offered, so after 30 minutes of waiting we left. Came back at 4.45 and was asked to leave as she was closing, I said I would like a couple of and she repeated were closebirds

We took our cat Skylah for her first wash and tidy. The team at MikeNeko is amazing reassuring us that her wash was calm and gentle. Although our cat did not like the blowing part, she manage to be ok when there were two therapist blowing dry her hair. We bought a bag of freeze dried raw treats, and she definitely enjoys it. Thank you for the service!

Customer beware. If you are considering buying fish from this store , think twice. I recently bought 6 Guppies last week from this store thinking that l was purchasing healthy fish, when l asked if they were. But l was wrong , only after 6 days l have lost one . I have cycled my tank for the correct amount of time and l also checked the water parameters with the API master test kit and all the water parameters were perfect as indicated on the chart. So l know that it wasn't a fault on my behalf. This is not the first time that this has happened to me when buying fish from this store, I once again fell for their lies. I have given this store in the past several opportunities. I would highly recommend purchasing your fish from a proper aquarium store as l will be doing from now on , not petstock.

Bought a minibordoodle from here about 18 months ago. Staff were helpful, so initial experience was good. Unfortunately the little man has had problems with his legs ever since. He's not even 2 yet and has elbow and hip dysplasia. Spend thousands on painkillers, x-rays and CT scans all ready, and its only a matter of time before he will need surgery. The genetics on him are all kids of messed up and clearly not from a breeder who has any idea what they are doing.
The poor little guy is such an energetic happy boy and I'm being forced to take away all the things he loves doing, so that he's not in constant pain.
I have learnt me lesson and will never be buying from here again and recommend people do the same, especially if getting a mixed breed.

Went here to find some accessories for our dog and staff were not helpful. Just a ‘hi’ no, can I help you, what are you looking for ect. Huge store with no personality. Decided to go to a locally owned and operated store in Gawler st, and they are amazing!

Hopeless. Brought a light from here and it was faulty. Showed him the receipt but wouldn't accept it back because I didn't have the "box" it came in. 😂😂 No wonder they will go broke soon. Very poor service.
Nice big place with plenty of choices and pet foods. Always got a decent range of birds and fish. Just like petstock, this place is just way too expensive then a specialty shop. If you're looking for birds then go to gem birds or if you're looking for fish then go to Aggie's aquariums. Both are pretty close and in range.

A bought my beautiful puppy almost a month ago from here. At first I was a little hesitant due to reading some of these reviews. So I gave them a call and had a reassuring chat and went to meet one of their lovely pups. When we arrived there was many pups all seemed to be happy healthy and in a clean environment. We met our little one and fell in love instantly. Every possible question we had was answered well with a great deal of detail. We ended up taking our pup home with an in depth booklet. This gave us all her information including her breeders information. Very happy I went here and if we ever do get a second one will for sure look here again.

they have a good variety of things on there website but things are always out of stock in the shelves. Staff are helpful once you get there attention, stood at the counter waiting to pay for a while before they’d finished talking about their weekend and came to serve us
Always had great service here. Easy parking but can be hard to get back onto South Road due to the traffic and people not letting you out.
I went here today on the recommendation of a friend who has her two ‘oodles groomed. I am so so, so happy with the groom on my Harley (Airedale terrier), it is perfect and brings out all her best features and is relatively “natural” looking. But even more then the groom I am so impressed with the care and attention they gave her during her visit. She went in very anxious as she is in all new spaces, and I saw her on the table as they were finishing up two hours later and she was just calm and relaxed. Her groomer cut all the matted fur from between her toes and was just so gentle with her the whole time. They listened to my request about her antisocial behaviour when stressed and made sure there were no other dogs or cats around and took the time to get to know her. She was giving lots of kisses by the end! Dog lovers: look no further for your next groomer. This is it for us!

Visited today and it’s just the cutest shop, and it was so obvious that the owner of the shop was proud of the puppies, and they were all well cared for and respected. Also such a cute selection of toys and treats ☺️
Since doing the remodel Its alot better set out and easier to find anything but the staff need to learn about the the fish and stock they have as they couldnt answer my questions and gave false information to some customers that was basic and easy to answer for anyone but they had no idea in

Boutique Paws In August 2020 I have spent over $10,000 dollars in vet bills due to his various health issues including heart problems, trachea problems, hypoglycemia, bad knees and now severe hip dysplasia - looking at a further $12,000 to fix this.
When you buy a dog from Boutique Paws you receive a “12 month health guarantee” which is said to cover any issues if they arise. What they don’t tell you is that if you try contacting them about this, the owner Matt will promise to help (if he even answers at all - good luck with that one) and then gradually stops responding to you, dodging all calls and will eventually just ghost or block you altogether.
Read the other reviews here on google and also look up the Walkerville Vet who has spoken out against this despicable business. If you do go ahead and purchase a dog from Boutique Paws then I urge you to get pet insurance from day 1 - you'll need it.
In response to the owner's comment below: Lightly stepping on a puppy’s paw doesn’t cause hip dysplasia and that was not the reason he required emergency care, you're well aware of that.
Your vet only saw Henry for a checkup before his serious issues began. They then referred us to the Marion Animal Hospital. Every vet and animal hospital we've been to since (which is many) roll their eyes and groan at the mention of "Boutique Paws". Your shop doesn't have a bad reputation for no reason.
Another update 2023: Henry has now had to have surgery for a luxating patella on his right leg in addition to the hip dysplasia on his left side.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars! They sold my family a sick pup. Then had the nerve to deny that his sickness was their fault even though our vet has said they've had NUMEROUS dogs with this awful parasite come from this horrid place. BEWARE of this puppy farm. Our beautiful lab did not deserve to die from giardia!

The idea behind this place is great, but I stood out the front looking in & most people doing the same commented is it a puppy school, they need more signage to what they actually are about, but love the whole idea

Today, I took my Lucky cat to take a bath. After washing, the cat's hair is very soft and fragrant. The staff in the store are very good to cats👍. By the way, I bought a lot of snacks and staple foods for the cat that he likes very much. My cat likes to eat snacks from MikeNeko's shop the most. This store is really great, and the decoration is also very nice🤩

Everytime we have only 3 or 4 live crickets in the container, so when my husband went again he mentioned this to a team member who was rude and said well put a carrot in there!! Feeding them a carrot would be a great idea but as soon as you get them home and open it up there all dead anyway! So maybe you guys need to actually make sure your feeding them to make sure your selling life things to some one before they actually purchase them! Will not be returning to pets domain....will refer anyone i know to pets stock.

The management and staff are just so friendly and helpful and even remember my name which makes me feel at home. I often don't make time to share positive stories but honeslty have to share this one. Boutique Paws has changed our lifes giving us our best girl. Our girl is healthy and has been tested by our vet for Giardia, this seems to be a public concern and she is NEGATIVE! We couldn't be happier with our fur baby. The serviced received was outstanding. Will answered all my questions (alot of them) and was very informative. Since purchasing Lily we have spoken and shared photos with the breeder. A really great experience. Thank you xxx
A good range of pet items, ample roon to move around. Not a huge fan of selling animals eg: birds & fish. There was a poorly lit section. But there was also a great range of dry & tinned food, toys, treats, bedding, cat scrathing poles & pet crates.
The staff are nice, but not all are very welcoming. The overall feel when you walk in is very uncomfortable. The space is too big and really lacks any sort of atmosphere, I hate that the freezers for pet food are located aaaalllll the way down the back of the store, they used to be up the front which was super handy for quick stops but it's really annoying now having to walk half a kilometer to get to the freezers. (exaggerated obviously but the place is just too big for what it stocks) they could essentially half the size and still stock the same stuff. Maybe try have soft music playing or something just to make people want to come in, stay for longer and maybe spend more if the place was more welcoming.

After our beloved curly coat retriever died in Dec at the ripe old age of 15 our family was absolutely gutted. He had been such a part of our lives that there was this massive hole missing every single day. I swore I wasn't going to consider getting another dog for at least a year.
On a whim, our family headed to Boutique Paws so the kids could hang out with some puppies as we all missed having a dog around. After we had been there for a while and seen a couple of rotations of the different dogs (so they could play), the staff brought out a group of AussieDoodles - a breed I had never heard of. I watched them play around a bit and there was one in particular that caught my attention. He was playful, but not over the top, he would watch the other dogs with curiosity and when they were getting a bit too boisterous he would slide under the cupboard and chill out - leaving his back legs sticking out from underneath. When the next rotation came I asked the staff if they could leave him out for a while so we could spend some more time with them - which they were more than happy to do.
Anyway, my wife and I start playing with the AussieDoodle puppy more, the kids are already in love with him and I turned to my wife and said, "I think we should get him". It is a decision that I will never regret.
"Arlo" is the coolest dog in the world (our son named him from an Episode of Brooklyn 99!). Smart as anything, loving beyond words he has filled a hole that I didn't think could be fixed. He is just as happy chilling out in the backyard as much as when we take him for a walk in the park. He is just a pleasure to have in our lives.

Shop owner is very friendly, small fish supplies but still has products to help with cleaning tank, water treatment and food has a good variety of 'healthy' snack products for poochies as well.

So many cute animals! Plus great service. I got to pat a baby python, a cat, see some chickens and they offered to call up other stores to find me a kitten which was a success!
Very helpful staff. We bought some dog clippers for our shihtzu and they explained how to use them and adjusted them to suit on the spot. They have a good variety of products for all your pets needs. Great place will be going again.
Great local shop with a friendly and very knowledgeable owner. The shop isn't huge but Paul is very obliging and if your not pressed for time he can get in most things. Always happy to support long standing local businesses.

In June 2018 we purchased a puppy from Petsland. It was advertised as a maltese x shitzu. We signed a health agreement as per below. At the time they explained thoroughly to us that they could not guarantee whether she was more maltese or shitzu, we were not concerned. However as the puppy grew it became obvious that she had pomeranian/chihuahua traits. A trainer at dog obedience confirmed our suspicion. A vet also agreed. We returned to Petsland to voice our concerns as we thought that maybe the owner Donna had been duped by the breeder. Her solution was to offer us a full refund when we returned the dog. She knew that this was a false offer, as who would return a dog that they had bonded with. She pointed to the health guarantee which virtually gives them the right to sell any dog without being able to confirm its history or parentage. We asked for some financial retribution as we believed $2300 for a bitsa dog was ridiculous as evidenced by the ad below. We did not get what we paid for. Her answer to us was that they were not concerned as their primary business was not selling puppies.
So BUYER BEWARE, because any business owner that does not pride themselves on customer satisfaction especially when they know they are in the wrong is somebody you don't want to give your hard earned dollars to, regardless of how big or small the transaction is.

A large variety for most animals, and probably some of the best customer service I’ve had in a long time.
Walking out the door. I felt 100% confident in my abilities as a Novice. To set up a Native fresh water tank.
Staff went through it all with me, tested my water and didn’t mess me around on products that I did not need.
Perfect advice, and they understood my finding Nemo references. What more could you want from a small pet shop!

Moly is my theorphy dog I'm so blessed to have a wonderful lady friend who shares moly with cause I can't afford a pet, thank god they I love moly and moly love me to we have so much fun together he especially love the beach I tier him out slot for a 15year old dog he, s funny loves running fast, and people he, s a human dog when I'm not well he, s there and cheers me up. I love painting his nails too and put on bandaners but most of all he heals a broken ♥ and today is one of them days bless moly my mate
This is a lovely little pet shop which has been run by the same family for years.
Their prices are extremely reasonable and whilst they might be a tiny bit more expensive (and I mean only a tiny bit) than a supermarket or chain pet store, it is sure is worth it knowing that it is supporting a family business and a local business.
They have a great selection of birds and fish (and quite often Guinea pigs) and every possible food selection for your every possible pet at home.
Toys, accessories and knowledge are plentiful here. I can't recommend this place enough for all your pet needs.
