The lady at the self service on Sunday morning was very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! Great service.
Customer service in this store is always fantastic. The older lady at the door with the grey/purple hair is such a vibe and always makes you smile when entering/leaving the store.

Trying to return a dish drying rack bought 2 days ago because it’s really not doing it, I returned it in the re-saleable condition and original packaging but the staff named Beant rejected me because I tried it at home, apparently Kmart doesn’t let you try their products and return.
I feel bad that I was getting a little bit of aggressive towards her, I really shouldn’t be mad towards someone incompetent, she’s doing her job 100% correct and deserves to work here for good.

The lady who helped me with concealer brush was so friendly and knowledgeable.. i work in a bank myself and know how important the customer service is .. she really made my day with an amazing service.. kudos to her… i was there on thursday 14/3 around lunch time. She had glasses on

Came looking for Pokémon cards so can’t comment too much about the entire store but they’re all stored in one small cupboard that you will have to ask staff about. As everything is just in the one place, they struggled to find individual items but the staff member did try scrummaging around for it. After a while we gave up and searched the system which indicated there were 0 in store but top ryde have 30+ in stock so I should try there. On the website, it indicated that the item was available for click and collect and in store. Fix your system. Appreciate the kid for helping though.
Items are much more expensive than bigw, Kmart etc for the very same category.

My three year old son grabbed a soft ball from toys section, a young male staff came and warned us: “your son had kicked the ball around, stop doing this!”
With his tone and facial expression, it was inappropriate towards a child.
Not sure if my son kicked the soft toy ball, but could not be as him described “continuously kicking”, otherwise I would noticed and stopped him. I am also a reasonable parent…
And he asked security, threaten us to leave. Security also felt nothing serious, because we really didn’t do much wrong. Then my husband asked staff name, so we would make a complaint about his attitude. He said his first name Aaron. We asked how about your surname? Do not under any circumstances leave your wife unattended in this shop, you will regret it. The staff will help her find all materials she can carry, they will recommend the best scissors and pins and other accessories, and then there is the sewing machine area.... what's worse is they have a huge arts and crafts section too, so your daughter will come out with loaded arms... heed my warning and learn from my mistakes
This lovely girl (I think her name was Claudia) at customer service was so sweet to me and helped me with my refund. She really took the time to make sure I was completely satisfied and always and a smile on her face. Very refreshing!
A a very friendly and happy store indeed . I was help by the star store of the shop YUUMi . I came to stores to look for iPhone charger but all the iPhone chargers have been sold . My phone was already flat and I needed my mobile to use it as a payment method . With the help of Yu Mi she offer me help if I wanted her to quick charge my phone for me at the counter. I said that would a life saver . She did it with a smile . I was devastated with power at all from my mobile but Yu Mi came to the rescue

While the service here is usually subpar, I met one employee that stood out to me quite a lot. This happened maybe 2-3 weeks or so ago. I was finishing up some last minute Christmas shopping. There was a product on the Kmart website that I could not seem to find in store. I ended up receiving help from one of your employees. She was a young girl. She had a name tag on but I can not for the life of me remember her name. Something like Carawyn or Catherine or Catrice (something beginning with a C 😂). I have an Indian friend and was wondering if she too was Indian and she was. She took the time to check the back store rooms for me for products, not once, but two seperate times. Just lovely. As a pregnant woman who was shopping alone, I was also struggling to carry my items and she took the time to go fetch me a trolley from the other side of the store from God knows where, because there were no trolleys left at the front. (please for the love of God, get some more trolleys in your store, there is never a single trolley left when I'm there). She also complimented my outfit which was just so lovely. I have a speech disorder and she was just so so polite and patient. My husband said I should write a good review about her so that's exactly what I am doing. What a lovely young girl... Keep it up Kmart!

Found it really weird that the store staff at Parramatta come up with their own rules for returns. I take photos of all my receipts as it is easier to manage and to avoid the risk of losing them. At the returns desk the staff tells me that we don't accept a digital photo of a receipt. We can only offer you a gift card for the value if it is not a physical store receipt. The first time any store has told me this. Had to waste my time waiting for a manager and then show him the target online policy for returns where it clearly calls out that a photo of a store receipt is a valid proof of purchase as the returns desk staff would not listen.
The shop in general looks untidy, and there is never enough staff around, especially down at the material cutting tables. Now that parking in spotlight carpark only has 1 hour of free parking. It will take that long to get serviced.
Really good and huge Target. Plenty of parking. Really good stockings and fully stocked to. They had everything and good like - Toys. Clothe. Shoes. Bags. Kids. Womens. Mans. Adult. Kids. Books. Digital. Beauty. Really clean and tidy store to. Friendly and helpful staffs. Thank you Target. I will come back here again.

Highly disappointed on Christmas Day. I was getting gifts ready for my families lunch and noticed the 1m long Toblerone had past it’s expiry date. The out of date shown in the pictures is 13/8/23 and I only purchased this on the 14/12/23. 4 months past it’s date and it was out on shelves for customers to purchase. I wonder how many more others had purchased this or had already consumed it. It cost $16 and now that’s gone down the drain. Horrendous. There is no way I would gifting this now.
i just wanted to give a massive shoutout to Shonny. i live out of area and placed a customised click and collect for my Mum to pick up for me before i travel down for the holidays.
the item was accidentally left behind and was found broken upon return. Shonny and her team not only went above and beyond to remake my gift but showed my mother so much kindness, love and understanding whilst simultaneously dealing with a massive rush.
im an assistant manager myself, and i would be so proud of my team if i knew they were extending this level of warmth and kindness to people. my mother was so frazzled and stressed and they did an exceptional job in not only helping to alleviate her anxiety, but also maintain correspondence with me over the phone so i remained in the loop.
the fact that you guys showed me and my Mum such love during this busy season truly means the world and i promise you it has not gone unnoticed. thank you, thank you, thank you for prioritising and aiding us during such a busy season when you very rightfully so could’ve declined.

Kmart is one of the worst supermarkets in the world! And this store excels in treating you as a customer like trash with useless unhelpful staff and absolutely 0 service not even when trying to pay for the items! But they still expect you to put up with security checking your every purchase at the front door! Don’t shop here!
I would like to thank the beautiful lady that went into Plenty Valley Target and paid off my lay buy . Women’s Denim advertised at 25% off. I select a denim jacket and it scans full price at the self serve register. I flag this with the young lady on registers who calls women’s wear. Am told it’s just jeans. I tell them that the sign says denim and that this is reflected online with other women’s denim jackets. The register girl calls women’s wear back and asks them to come to the registers and they refuse so the girl on the registers refuses to assist in the matter further. I worked for target for 8 years and this is horrible customer service and bad sales. Fair to say I didn’t purchase for the jacket. Management could do some extra training in this store on customer service and also false advertising.

Went into the Parramatta Store on 04.12.23 and today 11.12.23 at approximately 7pm looking for fans and a toaster. On both occasions, I was assisted by Mohammed. He was so helpful, took me to the sections and explained the products. Today I went in and wanted to buy another fan. No stock on the shelf for my favoured fan due to the very hot week end. Mohammed went out the back for sometime and found the last fan i wanted. I was so grateful and was very impressed by his customer service and going above and beyond. Very positive experience, will not hesitate to return.

DON'T ORDER ONLINE as they send the parcel using Courier's Please who are best known for not even attempting to deliver and taking the parcel straight to a collection point. Disabled people shop online because we can't get out and about so easily and if I had known that that Kmart were going to be cheapskates and use Courier Please then I never would have placed an online order.

The carpark entrance was a battle ground of bins with what looked like junk with sale signs, to some it was probably all their Christmas's at once but you shouldn't have to dodge items on the ground scattered everywhere to enter the store. Gets on in there people were lined up everywhere at 1 checkout
Now I really don't mind waiting I could wait all day, but don't have the slowest person on check out with no idea what they are doing. After 17 minutes waiting she turned around and said "I don't know what to do" after waiting another 4 minutes someone else came and whilst looking I said "wouldn't it be best to get another check out open" at this stage I was told I had to go to the front of the store to collect. So goes on up there and my gosh the disarray with orders thrown everywhere. Gave my name oh we can't find it. After 3.7 minutes it was found among the mess. Never again the store seriously needs someone with balls of steel to stand up and educate the staff on orders and tidy the shop up. Yesterday afternoon the old female staff at the self serve checkout made us so uncomfortable by keep standing right behind us and staring at us, as if we are trying to steal something by not scanning. No smile, no greetings nothing just blank stare throughout our checkout made us so uncomfortable.
We are a young family with kids. Not sure if it's our skin colour or our religious look that made her think we are going to steal.
I wonder if she does the same thing to a white Australian customer.

Bought waterproof ipx7 ear buds in September and was very very keen to use them
Unfortunately the left ear bud would sometimes work, and then stop working
I took the ear buds back in October with my digital receipt only to be told by the cashier that their return policy stated:
- returns were only accepted within 2 weeks,
- that I needed the original , hard-copy receipt
- that I needed the original packaging
I objected and explained that while I understood that the lady was simply following her companies protocol, it couldnt trump the NSW Department of Fair Tradings mandates which state:
- products have a 12 month warranty
- digital receipts are fine
- original packaging is not needed when the product is defective
The lady tried to explain that that was fine, however, in their store, these were the rules. I tried to explain that stores can have any policy they like to extend the NSW Department of Fair Tradings rules, but they must extend, not diminish them…
I asked if she or I could speak with or call her manager a few times
this went back and forth for a While. In the end I reiterated that I could understand that she was just following her companies policy, but I was unhappy, felt that I was entitled to a refund for a defective product (tbh before I had such a bad experience I would have been fine with a. The store has amazing products but we went today to find some presents and the manager or I’m not sure about the role of this woman in the store but she was literally harassing people to buy. She would firstly greet you very kindly and after she would star pushing you to buy every single product possible. It was absolutely uncomfortable. Also, we couldn’t help but noticed how pushy she was with the girl that was working with her (the girl was wearing a butterfly outfit) she was micromanaging her in such a horrible way. We went trying to find nice Xmas presents but left stressed and without nothing and we were not the only ones, the people around us were making the same comments.
A cashier called Valentina… Lady, please relax… don’t need to laugh sarcastically at people if they do a mistake. Just calm down and patiently explain why extra was charged? Not spending your money, why are you being so mean??? Unpleasant experience
Rhodes kmart needs to educate these rude teen staffs. Just wanted to buy few things for my cat but the cat section was a full of mess. It was horrible to go through because trollers were blocking the path. I wanted to grab items so i removed the trollers but a teenage stuff comes to me rudely like she doesn’t want me to buy stuff for my cat, she goes “We have a small space and you need to talk to someone else that can remove the trollers” she couldn’ve nicely help me but she put those trollers back in the pet section so i cant get the stuff how rude? and then other teen staff starts swearing. I couldn’t buy the things i wanted and items were in stock online but not in the store 😂
It appears like this store is having clearance or closing down sales every day. Every day it is 80% off and even after 80% off, things are still expensive. I went there a few months ago and they had an almost empty shop, with a big sign saying closing down sale… I believed them and purchased a few items… only to walk by a few days later with a fully stocked shop…. Quite pathetic marketing to be honest .

Easy to find with plenty of parking unfortunately the car park is expensive just for an hour. I've never paid though. 😅. The store itself is very big. Curtains, blinds, crafts, dress ups, fabrics, laces and so much more for the everyday household. In saying that the store does come across crowded making it hard to navigate when it's busy. Generally they only have one counter running, so be warned there is always a wait. Pricing is standard and what you would expect. Plenty of cheap stuff but definitely nice high range priced too. Staff are lovely in the fabric area and know their stuff. Unfortunately the rest of the staff come across like they are being forced to work. Great place and should have what you need.
Spoke to a young person in homewares who wasn't helpful and when asked to speak to the store manager he went to her and had a conversation (without putting me on hold, so I could hear the whole conversation) then I got hung up on. Called back and asked to speak to the Manager and when she answered and I explained I got hung upon on , her response was "Oh okay". the request was not a heard one just simply to check an item on the shelf and at 830am in the morning, i doubt the store was busy.
I went to buy a present for a friend and Bree helped me picking the best option, taking the time to search for the most accurate present and being super nice. She deserves a pay raise 😉

I couldn't find what I was looking for on the shelf, but Jason came to the rescue. He offered to check the back stock, and within no time, he found exactly what I needed, all while juggling other tasks. And let me tell you, he did it all with a friendly and helpful attitude.
I work in the management team for a giant retail chain, so I know firsthand how rare it is to find someone as dedicated as Jason. He truly goes above and beyond for customers.

David was very friendly and helpful. When we couldn’t find a rug the size we were after he suggested we have two rugs stitched together - the stitching is excellent - you can’t even tell!! Very happy with the end product! Delivery was easy to organise also! Great experience :-)

Very big super store with free wifi. It's nice to have free wifi, especially when the mall does not provide one. This is probably one of the few Target outlets in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. Does not have wide range of bikes inspite of having more range of bike gears. It does not clearly mentioned whether they provide bike assembly services.
Although they didn't have what we came for, we came away with way too many other items. So be warned! This place has so many cool nick nacks and fun things, just try and leave the store empty handed.

I'm actually part of the cotton on group company so I understand about reaching kpis, personal and store goals but I had an experience at this specific store that left a bad taste in my mouth. A middle aged lady was serving me and did the typical buy a tote bag but I already had one which I showed her, then we continued on to perks which I said I was Team Member, all is good but as she realises this she makes the comment of "even more reason for you to buy a tote bag" which I'm disturbed by because I've obviously have supported the foundation before, we continue on and she asks if we want any other foundation goodies while practically begging "help a girl out" which I am disgusted by because I'm still a customer, when I serve customers I don't like to guilt trip them into the extra goodies, I give them options and my opinion to see if they'd like those products, but this worker just had bad customer service and obvious upselling which left me feeling yuck for being forced to buy something I didn't need.
Purchased a knife set as a once off manager special clearance for Reno. No other store would have this special further 30% off marked special price. Walk past today, 2 days later to find they have made it a further 40% off marked price. Spoke to the store staff they said I had to call customer services to find out what they could do. Customer services referred to go back to the store as they may give me a store credit. Spoke to the store they said it was the luck of the draw and unprepared to do anything for me. But we’re quick in making me believe that that was a once off deal. Be aware if they say it’s a once off deal.
Staff were incredibly rude to multiple customers. Ignoring requests and looking people up and down whilst gossiping amongst themselves. Reminded me of a poor man's Prue and Tru from Kath and Kim.

Bought item through click & collect. Apparently they don’t give you written notifications through email or text when your item is ready to collect. Got a call after a few weeks saying the item is been waiting to be collected for awhile, and asked to provide the exact date to pickup. Not the best customer service.
Alex from Miniso in Rhodes was absolutely amazing! His customer service is incomparable. I own a childcare and he was super helpful with helping us provide sanitising items to our children and their parents. He even offered to help us carry it to our car as the boxes were super heavy. Alex is an asset to your company and a model employee that everyone should aim to be like. Great job Alex!!!

Worst customer service experience in a very long time. I went to the store earlier this month, there were three staff members standing behind the counter. 2 chatting to each other, one on his phone. None of them acknowledged me standing in front of them. I turned for a moment to look at something, they all vanished when I turned back. I went in search of someone to help and she rolled her eyes then tsk'd me when I asked a question, walked me over to where I could find what I was wanting and waved her arm broadly to a wall of kitchen utensils and said "here". Seriously, if you don't like working retail, don't do it! The guy was pleasant enough by the time I went to the counter to pay for it but the damage was done. I just wanted to be out of there.
Definitely the place to shop for your quality home linen, soft furnishings, and appropriate accessories ... polite and helpful staff that know and love the products they are promoting is a rare, pleasant shopping experience 😁😁
This is my favourite Typo store. The girls are always so positive and cheery. You get good vibes as soon as you walk in. The girls are so helpful and always give me compliments. A good range of products, and you can find most items in this store that are shown online on the website. The line for checking out is always a bit long, but I’m not surprised that the store is popular due to such lovely service.
Great to see Kmart here. Target was good but I think more people prefer Kmart. Large store with everything you need. Never too busy and quite clean.
Rating provided three years ago and have not been back to the store very recently. Was finally asked for more details in the middle of the night last night. If Target really wants to improve, it really needs to ask for such information in a timely fashion - otherwise it looks like Target isn't really listening at all!
Horrible horrible experience! We were in store looking at rugs with a few other customers. The person that seemed to be the owner serviced everyone except us, even when we were the only ones left in store. We would like to give the benefit of the doubt that this was not a racially motivated incident, however it really does feel like it to my partner and I. When we asked for assistance, we were told to wait until they finished the job they have been working on since we entered the store. We waited for a few minutes, the task at hand didn't look like it can be completely quickly and there was no sense of urgency for them to finish. Which is when we decided to leave, without the owner attempting to even acknowledge the fact that we have not been served at all. Do yourself a favour and go to other rug stores in the centre which are much more helpful.
Heard from lots of locals recently and experienced myself the rudeness of staff in Adair. They will ignore you if you don’t look like you have $$ to spend. Surely their upper management are aware. Also rude if you ask to take something out of packet to look at or feel
i do enjoy adairs, however the staff in mittagong are far from friendly. i have been in there several times looking for gifts for family members, and the staff either ignore me, look at me as though i cannot afford to be in there store, or treat me as though i’m not welcome. quite upsetting and disappointing.

I came on a quiet Thursday night. Walked into the store person (who I believe was the owner) had no intention to show me anything even when I requested to see something I like.
When I passed by the shop 30 mins later , I saw Caucasians in the store and he was trying to flip through everything he has in store and walk them through the entire store.

Amazing experience! I was looking to buy a pillow and was given the gold class treatment! The best customer service you could ask for. I tried every pillow in the store and walked out with a remedy for my crook neck. Ask for Telina!
I love the store. Big fan of the plushy toys. I’d been to this store in Kuala Lumpur and was really thrilled to find that they opened branches in Sydney. Products are affordable and high quality. Slight unhappy with the customer service though.
