Ordered a ham, cheese, and tomato toastie. Received a bacon, cheese, and tomato toastie. Better yet, only half of my sandwich had bacon or ‘ham’…for $7.50.

Honestly, the best coffee on campus. I kick and scream if I am forced to go for coffee breaks at any other venue. Food options are very limited but the chicken, cheese, and avocado toastie is always a winner for a quick snack or brekkie bite. Lachy and staff have always been kind and efficient. They know my order by heart, and a good strong cap is the key to my survival. Great location and never busy. Everyone else, stay away so I don't have to wait for my caffeine fix.

Had an amazing time with my daughter and father strawberry picking last week. $5 entry fee for adults and children under 5 are free than $11.95kg. We went just before Valentine's Day and they had some many amazing red delicious strawberries 🍓
Definitely family friendly activity to do while they are open!!!

At first we didnt know this place, we stopped by just because we saw so many people picking something. So we stopped by and it was strawberry.

4 of us decided to go in and pick our own strawberry and it was the most sweet strawberry i ever eat. OMG it was really sweet like sweeeeett.

We end up bought 3kg strawberry for $12 per kg. 1 kg finished the same day, the other 1kg was not that sweet after over night. Dunno why. But we will come back again here, they have really nice and helpful staff.

I would give zero stars if that was possible. Leigh expects way too much of you when working with him! He had told me that I wasn’t the same person he hired… well that may have been the case since I was practically running the shop, doing food, taking orders from two seperate tills, putting lids on coffees, preparing iced and smoothie drinks, filling up milk jugs for him to steam and that still wasn’t enough for him! Throwing food across the benches when I haven’t done something I was never supposed to do and advising I get my hearing checked was mildly inappropriate. Never really made conversation with me so it was MY fault that I was so quiet. Telling me off practically in front of customers as I’m taking their orders which was embarrassing for me with the experience I have. Definitely the worst cafe I’ve ever worked at however Leigh would tell you that I don’t have the all-rounder experience required for the job! To make matters worse he didn’t pay me on time twice in row and actually underpaid me both times. Thanks.

Beerenberg Farm is one of the oldest family owned jam , condiment and sauce in Australia.

Inside there’s a huge shop and cafe , they also offer a strawberry picking.

Please note that Strawberry picking is only available between November to April , start from 9 am to 4.15 pm.

This farm just one stop away by bus from Hahndorf Village ( German Village). We took a bus from city and it took around 1 hour to reach here.

Worth a visit when you’re around.
Had a really great time picking strawberries and they were really thick and sweet and great quality. Such a great activity to do with your partner or friend or family. Inside the building they have plenty of great little places inside selling fabulous produce. They have a lovely Cafe and lots of seating areas.
Our group had a bad time at Urbi Cafe. They brought the wrong food, and it smelled weird and tasted bad. Even the coffee wasn’t good. The owner was not nice to us, and it made our visit not fun.
The environment is very comfortable, the place is clean, and the staffs are very friendly. The food is also delicious and highly recommended.

‼️Attention!!! ‼️Do not go there to work! Worst experience ever! The owner is the one and only horrible person I have ever met. He says he cares about customers but what about employees' wellbeing? And it doesn’t make sense either, he once rudely brushed off Indian customers. Basically, everything is about his mood. He shouts and grumps all day making the working environment so hostile. I did a trial of 12 hours in 2 days and didn’t get paid at all. He said I wasted his time and that I got to learn from him. TBH I didn’t learn anything. All he allowed me was just clean and pour milk. He once said I make mistakes and I was so baffled because I didn’t make any. When asked what he has nothing to say. Damn, it was a scam. I hid and cried at work. Ohh it was miserable time.
He said as long as we are still learning it would be only $15 per hour (I sense he was planning to exploit us) and after that 20smth. Thank God I left this job! I was really convinced that Aussies are tough and rude people to work with. But nah.. my current employers and coworkers are soo damn good.
‼️And the final message to food critics please give honest feedback!! ‼️Because of you guys, we are being sucked into such scams/traps.

Excellent product, quality and taste. After a well known brand of tomato sauce mixture (ingredient) was discontinued for those that make their own, the search was on to find an already made ‘off the shelf’ brand that would compliment our years of making our own. Our winner was Beerenberg tomato sauce. Purchased at our local Supermarket but coming via their family farm in Hahndorf South Australia. The product receives an easy 5 stars from us. Well done to the team and thank you.

‼️SCAM WARNING‼️

I am sharing my experience to help others :)

There are several signs and advertisements looking for staff around town and online for this cafe. The fact a cafe in Perth is unable to find staff in this town was a big initial red flag, but I chose to view it in a positive light and give it a chance. Following this, the reviews on here describing the owner make complete sense and were very unsurprising.

From the offset, he was an unpleasant man. I went in for a paid trial shift and was given no introduction or guidance to that specific cafe just “start working”. Fortunately, I have a lot of experience in busy Sydney cafes. I jumped on the tills taking back to back orders from 8-9.20am. Approximately an hour in the old man there starts getting aggressive arguing I’d not worked in a cafe before, because I wasn’t pouring his milk into the jugs for him ahead of time, I calmly responded that I had and explained that all the baristas I’ve worked with previously had poured their own milk. If this was a stipulation he specifically wanted, it takes 5 seconds to explain that instead of going aggressive straight away because I wasn’t a psychic.

1.5 hours into the trial he begins to call me a liar and say I made up all my experience, despite the fact he has physical references in a cv next to him. I said no problem I’ll take my pay and go. He begins to argue he won’t pay me because I “lied”, despite the fact there is references to back everything I’ve said and there was both a verbal agreement and written agreement on instagram messages. He refused to pay for the work I did. Not surprised at all he has found nobody willing to work for him, and the scam had been reported to fair work. Grateful for the bullet dodged!

Excellent coffee in a cozy rustic environment. The eggs benedict with haloumi is excellent, but the double chocolate muffin is misleading since the flour is not chocolate. The hot mocha is very good, as is the service. I will be back!

Yum. Yum. Yum.
The Green Bowl is one of the best in Brisbane — highly recommend.
My friend enjoyed their burrito.
Our coffees were nice; the long black was a little bitter and weak for my liking.
The young waitress was cute. She was attentive and nice.
Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will be back.

Happily stumbled across this gem of a coffee shop one afternoon, very happy I did as this place serves some of the best matcha latte I have had. The lady’s who run it are very kind and attentive.
Visiting from eastern Canada and was recommended by a local to try this place out. A little mix up with communication with the cashier and kitchen but they where super cool about it. Food was delicious and even grabbed some beans to bring home, cant wait to try! Would definitely recommend.

A small but lovely cafe which is located in a small alleyway with a door to the main road. It's very efficient to have two order windows: one for food and one for coffee. There are many tables shared with other shops. Service was friendly. I found their coffee roasted to suit milk based coffee. It could have tasted better having it as espresso. I would be happy to try their food next time as the menu looked pretty good.
Great coffee, food and attentive service. Really enjoyed my breakfast there.

We had an excellent time here. The staff was accommodating and allowed us access to the farm, despite our late arrival near closing time. The strawberries were heavenly in taste. Exploring the mini museum and learning about the farm's history added to our enjoyment. Plus, there was a diverse selection of products available for purchase, perfect for bringing a piece of our visit home.

Absolutely loved this place. Super cool interior, really nice staff and great food. And a great mocha! Definitely will be coming back!
The best coffee in Newstead. Open 7 days and 6am to 6pm, wonderful coffee and food, what more could you ask for! Even my partner and I often laugh helplessly after other bad coffee when in other city like Sydney, Melbourne or other countries we travelled to, “Missing Bellissimo at home”.
Good coffee and food with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Efficient and nice staff. Loses a star only because their coffee and food do not come out together, so there was too much time that passed between receiving the food after the coffee. Had to choose between having no coffee with food or lukewarm coffee, so I waited and had the latter. Nice place otherwise.

Such a cute little spot! The staff were lovely, greeted us quickly, and had us seated. Menu is through a QR code at the table, with interesting options. Partner had an iced long black, he said it was one of the best ones he has ever had.

Chilli scram was fabulous, with toast that you can actually cut through!! So often I go to cafes and the toast is rock hard, but not here. Partner had the fried chicken benny and the chicken was so good, the quality was great.

Truly no complaints here, would come here again and again and again. Thank you to the staff for the lovely experience!!

We chanced upon this place and decided to get a cuppa. Was recommended the mocha and oh my, was it an awesome recommendation! The mocha is rich, aromatic and rich! Wished we had gotten a double shot instead!

Spotted several delicious-looking baked goods too. Do support this cafe!
Good coffee and a great range of small takeaway food options. Stopped by on a Sunday morning and it was absolutely packed, they were pumping orders out but was a quite the queue to order and wait for our takeaway order. Coffee was smooth and I had vegemite toast to go but wasn’t a fan of the taste of whatever spread they used on the bread (was not butter), but it was beautiful rustic bread, and also got some pastel de nata (Portuguese custard tarts) and they were delicious!

King Arthur Cafe in Fortitude Valley had a great vibe, lots of delicious options on the menu and our food + beverages were fresh and full of flavour. Recommend the Queenslander burger, avo on toast, smoothies (green), milkshake (very creamy), soy latte, and eggs on toast. In particular the avo on toast flavours were amazing and each element complimented each other. Delish! Great location and they have a selection of yummy treats at the front counter too.

King Arthur Cafe,

We visited with a group of friends and genuinely enjoyed our visit. We think you're doing great and wanted to give you an honest review of our experience at your home!

Venue: 9/10
• The venue itself is in a great location that's very close to public transport and a street over from the famous James Street Precinct. A wonderful spot they have. The design of the entrance is seating is super quaint and pretty, the top floor is a gorgeous space with beautiful natural lighting that seeps through.

Food: 8/10
• The choices of breakfast we had in the morning was the Baba Ghanoush & The Salmon Tartare. Both recommendations remain high on our list, we savoured almost every bite from these dishes. They contained a great combination of flavours to really surprise and excite your tastebuds and keep you happy!

Presentation: 10/10
• As shown in the pictures we provided with this review, the presentation was stunning and the lighting upstairs really gives it justice. That being said, we love creativity with food dishes and how every ingredient can be placed properly. You can see both dishes carry their own unique colour palette.

Service: 4/10
• Unfortunately, this is where our experience differed from the remainder of the trip. Our table host lacked the ability to produce hospitality, warmth, or even a care in looking after us. We barely received a smile and when taking orders he would stand there displaying frustration with us ordering, maybe we weren't clear, maybe we took to long for him and when he repeated back orders it came across in a condescending tone. When he delivered our drinks and food he constantly left it at the head of the table where no one was sitting, didn't explain what each dish/drink was and walked off that we had to sort it out ourselves. When someone did vocalise their dish he refused to place it by them, again, he would leave it at the end of the table. When we had no water he did not maintain any awareness or want to cater and look after us (it was a very hot morning). When we asked for anything including a refresh on table water we were constantly met with a huff or an annoyed look.

Overall, we did enjoy our visit truly. Our review is intended to be honest as we are with every place we visit. We want clarity with every potential customer reading this and the establishment itself picking up on any critiques that can be implemented to better its services where applicable.

The Two Hangry,
Great location and service was awesome. Great for a quick bite and coffee. I had the Eggs Benedict with Pulled Pork

One of the cafe’s male staff is very irresponsible.
He mistakenly heard my name “Emma” as “Anna”. Then, he gave my ordered fruit Danish to the other customer who named “Anna”. After this customer realized she didn’t order the danish, she returned the danish back to the counter, and said “this is not what I ordered”.

Staff showed he doesn’t care at all. He gave me the same danish that has taken away by the other customer. He did not offer me the new one, even not asked “if you need to change for the new one”. (Totally understand the other customer took the Danish by accident, because the staff called her name)

The girls work in this cafe are very nice. Maybe I will come back when the girls provide the services.

This little cafe facing Brunswick Street is a hidden gem! It has an oasis out the back in a pleasant alley with a covered seating area, plus there's seating inside as well. You can enter from the front or from the alley entrance. They make excellent coffee using Coffee Supreme beans, which are locally roasted. The menu is reasonably priced with bagels a specialty, but there's a range of options to choose from. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a good quiet spot to relax, away from the bustling streets.

Toast, waffle and flat white are good, customer service is also good. However, i note sth. Iced mocha is below average, my spaghetti on toast is cold and warm 😞. I also note the tables are not clean enough, i hope they can improve it.
Brisbane's friendliest coffee shop! Coffee is as delicious as ever, and it is still a place where prices are kept as low as possible after the price of electricity increases across the city in July. Highly recommend flat white. The owner loved her shop, delicious food and music. Hope everyone who drinks coffee in this lucky shop has a good day!

What a great spot! First time here. There are two entrances, one from Ann Street side, and the other from the lane on the side of the restaurant.
The front section is quite small, with around 6 tables. Makes for a cosy and intimate dining experience. If you walk through to the back there is a coffee ☕️ section with a few seats, and outside, there are more tables.
It's a really nice set-up.
The coffee here is excellent! I had an ice long black.
The menu has some interesting options, and there is something for everyone. I had the salmon bagel. This was really good. I wasn't hungry, so I shared this with a friend, and it was more than enough.
My friend had the truffle eggs and she was very happy also.
I'd definitely come here again.

These guys have very, very good coffee. I normally drink a long black but once in a while, I like to have a cappuccino, Often they are weak and too milky but the ones here are still strong even without a double shot. The huge almond croissants are excellent too. Fast and friendly service using your name. Now if only the swooping crows would stop attacking people with exposed food.

🫘Cosy cafe in the Valley with covered seating in the alley out at back.

☕️I ordered my standard almond flat white and it had a burnt taste. Almond milk can be tricky, so worth noting that my partner’s long black was fine.

🍳Not a huge selection for breakfast but some solid options. I added halloumi and a poached egg to their avocado toast. It came with chickpeas, which I think would have been amazing had it been roasted and crispy - but they were soft and didn’t add much texture or flavour. A nicely decorated slice of lime was added to the side - really pretty but would have loved a solid wedge to add lime juice to the entire plate.

👍Friendly service and solid food, would come back but would prove my not order almond milk in my coffee.

Had breakfast here recently and it was soooo yummy. The bacon was thick and smokey and the poached eggs could not have been cooked better. It was the Southern Chicken Eggs Benedict which blew my mind, deep fried chicken, poached eggs and hollandaise on sourdough . . You cannot go wrong. Definately my best breakfast in Brisbane so far. And they know how to make a good coffee too. Highly recommended.

Interesting coffee shop, tucked away towards the end of Aberdeen St. Very friendly owner who likes a chat. Coffee was gooooood.
Industrial loft style decor, with seats both outdoor and upstairs. Selling packs of whole beans of various coffee blends and single origin. For coffee drinks, choices of coffee blends, but no single origin espresso. Batch brew single origin runs out today. Room for improvement in milk frothing for the flat white. Chicken Supreme toastie is too acidic than we thought, the menu didn't say it has lots of sour olive sauce. I'd have given more stars if the staff taking order could have known more about their own coffees, and the barista could have shown some passion when customer asked for recommendations of which blend to choose from if I wanted more fruity flavour. The barista asked me to read the tasting notes myself ... but there was a long queue behind me.

This cafe is definitely a hidden Gems 💎 on the south side. The setting was absolutely gorgeous, open space, gentle breeze, I can literally sit here all morning enjoy my coffee and read my newspaper (I mean Bloomberg app)
The cafe is family operated and it means you will always get that home feeling when you entered.
Coffee was well made, it got all sorts of milk 🥛 options that matches everyone needs but mine will aways be full cream.
The almond croissant 🥐 was very crispy with a lot of puff pastry and it smells a good taste of butter inside, super well done.
I am super glad I have find this spot, it really made my day.

This place was lovely as a mid morning brunch stop. Even though we were not really fitting in with the other patrons (mostly business men/women), we were made to feel very comfortable.

Service was delightful and prompt. They recommended the most popular dishes which we ordered. The food was quick and tasty, a little creative but not too out there. Only off part was the random few leaves of spinach with balsamic - not needed and looked kinda tacky. I also wish they served it with two pieces of toast. Not sure what the theme is around Brisbane with only serving one piece of toast but it just left me feeling like I needed a bit more bread with the rest of my toppings.

Coffee was simple and tasty, presented well. Both reasonably priced and competitive for the area.

Atmosphere was great. Nice decor and REAL PLANTS!!!!! Always love a good greenspace. The outlook over the balcony was also really pleasant. Overall would return again. Also really want to try their baklava they had (it seemed homemade?!?)

This cafe was a great choice for a first date! Central location, lovely staff and excellent coffee. I didn't try them but the muffins and biscuits looked amazing too. The colourful mugs for our coffee were also a nice touch! Thanks again, I'll come here again soon.

Funky lil spot with bangin tunes and friendly service. $4 large coffee, no extra for soy ;) could be stronger but pretty good.
Extremely friendly owner and staff.
Best coffee in the area.
Awesome food. Their sauce and burgers are amazing.
Great chip too.
Just don’t miss this place.
