Dark Elixir Coffee House

I love this place. The owner is so incredibly kind. You can tell that he is passionate and so caring towards his customers. I was too shy to say anything to him in person but he and his staff were so kind and welcoming. I by complete chance happened to come on the 2nd anniversary of the opening of this cafe and I just felt so happy that small businesses like this are open and staying open.

I ordered an iced chai latte and an almond croissant and I stayed for like 4 hours just studying. The taste was fantastic and the lighting gorgeous and seating incredibly comfortable. You can tell how much thought and consideration went into this whole business and it really shows.

I hope that you keep growing because you absolutely deserve it.

Good coffee and pastries, great atmosphere. The interior is beautifully designed, the black theme gives it class.
Mocha is not too sweet and they use proper cocoa powder, just nicely balanced since you can still taste the coffee. The layered cake has a nice custard flavour, perfect with the pastry that has the right amount of chewiness.

Had a very nice coffee today. Dont usually make a review for coffee but this is the best. Everything is perfect

Staff members, Stuti and Shrisha, added a touch of charm to experience with their friendly and welcoming demeanor. Starting morning with a lovely smile and an appreciated order can truly make a difference. It's great to know that the coffee was delicious, and found the spot to be enjoyable. I'm sure the Dark Elixir team will further go up.

Coffee is definitely 5 stars ⭐️ same as service.
Food is not the best, ordered an almond croissant and it was a bit full of sugar in the inside the cream de patisserie. Also they toasted it in the same as they toast other salty food and sandwiches and the toaster wasn’t clean properly hence the croissant ended up tasting a bit burnt and salty.
Good advice would be definitely use different devices to heat your salty / sweet food or clean it better after each use.
Overall experience 4 stars.
I must say coffee is delicious.

I had a large coffee ($5) and a slice of raisin toast ($4!). Probably would only come back for the coffee. The service was just ok. The raisin toast packaging looked like the cafe style toasts you get from Woollies (Tip top?).

Nice & peaceful little cafe, perfect place to just sit & drink a coffee to relax. Came here on a rainy day & it was a beautiful place to just relax & switch off. Coffee was made well, the staff were super friendly & attentive, lots of comfortable seating options, & the music was soothing. If you’re in the Granville area & you want a cafe that isn’t loud & stressful, this place is worth going a few extra streets out of the way, especially if you have a long day ahead of you.
