We went for a viewing of The Acre this morning and were blown away by this amazing venue! Nadia was so kind and professional, showing us around the venue and stepping us through all of the options available. She had answers to all of our questions and helped us to lock in the date for our big day. After such a lovely experience we had no doubt that this was the perfect venue for our wedding!!! Can't wait to come back soon!
I can’t speak highly enough of The Park. We hosted our NYE wedding here and nothing was too difficult for the venue. Our wedding coordinator Mariana was amazing - so kind and helpful and organised! And out on the night coordinator Ella was also amazing. The staff were so attentive to all of our guests. The food was delicious and the venue was just fantastic. Thank you for helping making our wedding day the best day of our lives. Highly recommend this venue!!

I regularly attend an event at this venue (upstairs) and the glasses always seem dirty or old and the floors are sticky and don't seem clean especially around the toilets. I 100% would not book this place for my own function.

Plenty secure car parking, clean and large kitchen, large dancing space with latest technology for livestreaming. Beautiful reception with amazing staff, Your graciousness and hospitality are greatly appreciated. Thanks for making our day so special."
The name is so fitting, my entire community had the happiest day ever on sunday. We were so pleased with how the entire day panned out, the services provided to us. This venue hosted a group that spread’s propaganda in support of a regime that has and continues to commit gross human rights violations. Several venues in Melbourne just days before cancelled and rejected requests from this group to host their “festival” that promotes and endorses this dictatorial regime. Although Happy Receptions were made aware, the venue went against advice and hosted the group. The staff we spoke to were also extremely hostile.
I advise anyone looking for a venue to not choose this place.
Course is great. Club personnel treat guests very differently.

What an absolute dream!

G&T was the perfect blank canvas for our wedding this year - We watched the team build our perfect wedding from scratch, and seeing it unfold on the day was nothing short of amazing!

The venue itself is perfect for those looking for a large fresh space, and alongside with the NUDO team and their assisting vendors, just know you’ll be in great hands!
Loved it so much. Lovely place to visit within the gardens.
We had our wedding here on December 11 and it was better than anything we could’ve hoped for. The staff were really nice! Especially Nadia who helped with all of our planned leading up to our big day. Thanks for helping make our day so amazing!

Whilst the venue was beautiful I found the service not so good. Our event commenced at 5:30pm. There was NO setup or harvest table ready and one person behind the bar trying to set up. We had shared food, however two bowls between 12 people was extremely poor! I had to ask for more food. No one filled my water glass and I had to ask. Fairy lights were not all working and one of the guests who was an electrician fixed them.
Need to review planning of events.
We had our large staff Christmas Lunch (170+ people) at the Adelaide Pavilion and it was fantastic. The Food was sublime, the staff were fantastic and very accommodating, the venue was in a great setting and we will return for 2024. Can't recommend it enough.

Absolutely shocking venue. HORRIBLE service, inefficient staff, the quality of the sound for mic use, music and everything in between is AWFUL. The event that was run UPSTAIRS in the loft, should receive free hire based on the horrific quality. And PLUS the wine tasted like vinegar, and the vodka tasted stail and even the soda water tasted terrible. The beer kegs were left HOT overnight, and then served: the bar staff told us this. Horrible.
As an event coordinator myself, I was doing everything the manager should have done. An entertainers nightmare. An organizers nightmare. I would never have an event here. -100 for venue hire.

Unbelievably Unprofessional.

The "state of the art" sound system dropped out every 30 seconds if that.

After paying over 3k for a venue the functions coordinator a no show. No staff.

One person turned up for less than 2 minutes and disappeared. Leaving us to run through a patchy bluetooth system with mics that don't work, power cables that don't fit the sockets, powerpoints that don't work.

The only sound that actually worked was the single pa speaker we brought ourselves for the dj and which we ended up having to run for performers at the other end of the venue. As the lofts equipment is faulty.

Due to having to troubleshoot all afternoon until I got home after 12 I didn't get to stop to even use the bathroom.
Awesome friendly staff and a great place to have a function.

I celebrated my 40th birthday on Saturday in the private "cocktail bar" @Loft. It was AMAZING! The staff were very accommodating to my requests. We brought in decorations, flowers, photo booth and our own music. Food was great, drinks were great, dancing was great, room looked fantastic. Very competitive pricing! Highly recommend hosting your private functions in this space. Thank you so much @ Loft !

We had our Sons and future daughter in laws Engagement 10th November 23. This was the most amazing experience. From the event team to the bar staff. We were treated so well the entire time. The service the venue the attention to detail. The Food was spectacular. Very generous amounts. They looked after everything and we rate this a 5 STAR and highly recommended anyone looking for the next level experience.

We cannot recommend The Acre highly enough. We shared a very special day here for our wedding. We had non stop compliments from all our guests days after the wedding. From the staff, food, service, venue itself, preparation, everything was perfect. Our day went so smoothly and the team went above and beyond to ensure we had the most unforgettable day. The food was amazing. The floor manager did a great job in accommodating any requests and made the night run more smoothly. Again the food was great especially the lobster. Frank and David were amazing.
Very beautiful venue. The food provided was delicious especially the pork belly entree 😍. The fat melted in my mouth.
This venue is very hygienic and there is plenty of space inside if you want to book an event for a large sum of people. My favourite aspect of the place is the windows because the sun shines through and you can watch the sunset.

We had our son's engagement party at The Loft West End in October this year (2023) and was impressed from the first meeting we had back in May. The staff took their time to ensure that we had a thorough walk through of the spaces, explained everything that was or wasn't included, took the time to show us the beverage choices, furniture, lighting etc. We had another walk through closer to the date, to ensure all was in place for the night and discussed the finer details of the night. We ordered a variety of food for 80 guests and we initially were not too sure if it would be enough, but it was plentiful for everyone. We didn't think about signage on the night and lovely Britney (functions manager) ensured that signs were printed and in place right at the last minute before the function began. Nothing seemed to be too much effort for her or her staff. The even organised a brilliant DJ for us at a very reasonable cost. The space we had was INCREDIBLE - so beautifully detailed, lovely furniture and fittings, great air-conditioning and well appointed bathrooms. Our guests absolutely loved it and we received so much positive feedback. There is a stunning external staircase that leads into the upstairs venue with gorgeous fairy lighting and a lift that goes straight up. The cost is very reasonable and there is plenty of street parking close by. Jackson, Brett, Malcolm, Britney and Luca worked the evening and I cannot speak more highly of these wonderful people - I could just bottle them and take them home :))))

If you’re into golf and have a day off, this place is heaven. If you’re not, it’s a lush country club with full event facilities. Brilliant.
The Acre was the perfect venue for my husband and I to get married! We were having a small intimate wedding, focused on a lot of DIY, and this was the perfect venue for us. It was such a magical day, and only made more magical by this super relaxed venue, the friendliest staff, and the most delicious food!

We chose to the married on the rainforest deck, which was a lovely intimate and natural space covered with lots of trees. We chose to DIY pretty much our entire wedding, including cake and flowers, and even our own personal styling looked incredible in the space. If you're planning on DIY decor, the Acre was an incredible canvas to work on, and the venue were so helpful when it came to planning those little things regarding the big day. The photos we have of the day are magical (we don't have all of them yet), but there were plenty of options at the venue for incredible photos. We did chose to leave the venue to get photos at Hinze dam, but this was only a five minute drive and those photos are incredible too!

The process of booking the Acre was really easy, we knew it was the venue for us after the first viewing. We worked with our planner Jasmine, who helped guide us through all of the decision making for our big day which eased the stress on the lead up. Our day-of-coordinator Liz was a legend! Liz was so on top of everything, if anything went wrong we had no idea! Liz made everything so smooth and relaxed, and she was a huge help to our day. All of the staff at the venue were incredibly lovely, and a shoutout to Cleo on the bar, who was so excited to make us mocktails all night that we never drank the same one twice. All of the staffs enthusiasm and kindness made it such an amazing experience.

The food was incredible! We had an entirely vegetarian menu, with a share plate style, and every single person left the wedding sooooo full! The rosemary and honey halloumi was to die for (we want the recipe)! The little touches really made our day, with special mocktails for us, and the photo hour hamper of food was such a good idea as we were so busy we barely got near the cheese boards.

Another huge bonus for the Acre was the accessibility, as we had a few guests who needed disability access, and this was super easy at this venue. The paths are all clear, the ground is flat, and there are accessible bathrooms which was a huge bonus over some other venue options. Because the venue was so close to everything, transport was easy too, everyone caught ubers to the venue, and then we booked a bus home.

Overall, our experience at the Acre was stress free and easy, the incredible staff, amazing food, and venue itself were real highlights of the day, and we had the most magical experience getting married here!

Gather and Tailor as a wedding venue was perfect. It's a beautiful rustic venue which allowed us to have our ceremony downstairs and reception upstairs. We had our special day here two months ago and we can not recommend it enough! The team were absolutely amazing to work with and were there if we needed anything. Jasmine and Jess were a huge part of putting together our day. We are so grateful for everything they did.
The Park was a fantastic choice for our conference gala dinner. The spacious decor, attentive staff and breathtaking views made it a standout venue. Highly recommended!

They were very accommodating to all our needs and made sure our event ran smoothly. The food was delicious and catered well to all the dietary requirements of our guests.

Our event manager, Ella, was incredibly bubbly and helpful, she definitely made the event feel a lot less stressful to run and checked in with us multiple times throughout the setup, event, and pack down.

Kate, the functions manager working with us, was also a pleasure to work with over email and incredibly accommodating.

Overall, we would recommend this venue to anyone.
The functions rooms were fantastic, large space, Stage, Well equipped toilets, Bar and outside undercover area, Smoking/vaping area. Close to accommodation, The city and Albert Park Lake.

Had our wedding here and boy do we feel lucky we did. The family and crew running the business are so wholesome. We could really feel like they cared about making our special day a wonderful occasion and shared in our joy in making it happen.

Food, decoration, service and communication were all exceptional. They made everything so easy I feel incredibly lucky in how smoothly everything went. They even helped us hire a jumping castle for the kids. We pretty much got the wedding we didn't know we wanted.

It is truly the "happy" reception. Would recommended to all my family, friends and any couples looking to tie the knot.
My husband and I got married at The Acre a week ago and it totally exceeded expectations. I knew it was going to be an amazing day, but it was actual perfection!

Jasmine and the staff were UNBELIEVABLE all day. Kind, friendly, welcoming, well organised, proactive and the service was fantastic. To the team who looked after us on the day, we are so grateful - you guys are incredible!

The food was DELICIOUS and plentiful - your guests will not go hungry (we got the Deluxe Mediterranean and the food just kept comin') and the drinks were excellent.

The venue itself is effortlessly stunning, you have no shortage of amazing photo spots. We had relatively minimal decoration - flowers/greenery and lots of homemade touches (shared menus, tea light candles and some placecards), and it looked gorgeous.

The toilets are clean and accessible. We had 100 guests, all of whom said they were very comfortable all day - plenty of seating and we got the tea and coffee station which kept our oldies content. We didn't hire a DJ, just had a playlist, but the sound quality/speakers are excellent. The dancefloor literally didn't empty until the end of the night!

We were a bit worried about it getting chilly in the evening but we were lucky - it ended up being a very mild day. If you're getting married there in winter, I'd recommend taking blankets for people to drape when it cools down while outside (we found it very warm and cosy in the barn).

The value for money is exceptional, and the vibe is very relaxed and fun, which is exactly what you want on a day of high nerves.

I can't recommend this place enough, there's not a single thing we would change. ❤️

Beautiful club.. well maintained grounds and great food. Best in the area if you are looking to join a golf club locally.
Course is in top condition and playing well. Greens are smooth and fast. Only 2 greens need a bit more work. Members and guests only. The post game food and snacks are top shelf.

We got married in October 2022. Absolutely loved Gather and Tailor as our venue. We were able to work with the wedding planners and stylists to achieve our beautiful rustic vibe. Our vision was realised in the most magical way. We loved how we could organise most things in house. They were so helpful and accommodating.

Attended a work function here. Good food and drinks but when the DJ finished at 10.30 we asked to plug in our phone but the audio equipment settings were almost unbearable to listen too. Intense feedback for an hour+. Multiple people asked multiple times to adjust to be told that they are the standard settings and no.
Staff rolled there eyes when told glass was on the dance floor.
Andy, Paul and the rest of the crew were fantastic. Hospitality at it finest.
And the balls were good too!

The Acre itself is stunning with so much natural beauty, but it's the amazing staff that truly make The Acre what it is.

From the get-go, the team were exceptionally communicative, supportive and helpful in every aspect of the wedding planning, and were happy to answer any (and every!) question I had.

On the day, Jasmine and the team made sure everything ran smoothly and provided great service to all our guests, as well as delicious food and drinks. They also set up all the decor perfectly, it looked exactly how I'd envisioned it. A special thanks to Jasmine for calming my nerves before walking down the aisle!

I simply cannot fault our experience with The Acre, and I'd recommend the venue a thousand times over. Thank you so much for everything!

We celebrated our wedding at The Acre a few weeks ago, and we are still getting rave reviews from our guests about the venue, the food and the unreal service. From the moment I came across the Acre (by accident on Instagram) I absolutely fell in love with it. After meeting Emily for an on-site viewing, we knew we both wanted it to be our special place to tie the knot. Throughout the 12 months of planning, the team were all incredibly supportive, accommodating and willing to help in any way possible. Not only is The Acre a gorgeous venue, but coupled with the most delicious food & beverage options, makes the whole experience a show stopper.
Considering the venue had been hit first hand with the extreme flood conditions only 10 days prior to our big day, the team turned everything around in such a short amount of time and didn’t let on just how big of a job it was. (thank you- from an already anxious bride!!) Once I arrived the day of our wedding, I was able to just relax and enjoy the experience as Jasmine & her team ensured everything went smoothly. I would 100% recommend The Acre to any bride and groom, or anyone searching for a venue for a special event. You won’t be disappointed.

Adelaide Pavilion always go out of their way to ensure that our events are exactly what we hoped for. The staff are really well trained, the food is always delicious and the owners are very friendly.
What a Venue! My wife and I began our search for the perfect Wedding Reception in December 2020. We were looking for something outside the norm, ballroom style wedding. We struggled and found nothing that "wowed" us. Then my partner found Gather and Tailor after many nights of googling. The moment we stepped foot in the venue we knew it was "us" and it filled us with so many ideas and inspiration for what it could be on our wedding day. I still remember the moment we saw the venue completed on our wedding day. We were in utter shock of how amazing it all looked. Gather and Tailor gave us everything a couple could ask for in a wedding reception and I could not speak higher of them. Thank you so much for everything, we will never forget it!!

Recently celebrated my mum’s 60th birthday at the Adelaide Pavilion and I highly recommend the venue, location, decor and service! Samantha, in particular, was extremely professional, efficient, friendly and great to liaise with. She was very thorough with all the details and was so organised, ensuring the event ran smoothly. I commend her for her efforts and would recommend the Adelaide Pavilion to anyone.
On the night of the event, Bree and her team were fabulous, ensuring all ran smoothly, on time and all the guests were very well attended.

Gather & Tailor has always been my dream venue for my wedding and I was super excited when Nudo Events took on this venue.

If you are looking for a rustic, minimal and unique wedding venue this is the place for you. We didn't need to spend too much time on decorating the venue as it looked beautiful inside and out.

The space allowed us to create different areas that were beautiful and fun for our guest. The outside space had beautiful rustic walls, a red staircase and plenty of cactuses that allowed you to take dreamy photos.

Would highly recommend this space to all couples.

We had a 21st birthday celebration and The Venue at Fannie Bay was our choice and definitely the right choice.
A BIG THANK YOU to Kylie and Renee for everything they did for us from the beginning to the end. The night ended up being FABULOUS and GLAMOROUS.
Our requests were met above and beyond. Everything was beautiful, the service was fantastic and the team really made sure everything went smoothly. All our family and friends were very impressed with the venue and service. Highly reccommend for any event.
A pretty park on a nice autumn day weekend walk around and watching the ducks and the lovely fountain at sunset and pretty autumn colours trees.

I want to say thanks to Adelaide Pavilion Team for working hard on our 14th Anniversary dinner party.

I praise their fantastic hospitality services. The team were so patient with guest and managed them politely. I really want to salute Adelaide Pavilion for their excellent services.

The deco was great, and the room looked amazing, with the beautiful lights and flower decoration.

Samantha and the team made our 14th Anniversary unique, and everyone was admiring the glamorous decoration.

All our guest liked the food, and everyone was talking about the tastes and the meal. All the dishes were incomparable.

We will definitely prefer to book again.

I attended the Vivaldi candlelight performance here. I pity the poor staff that had to turn on every single ‘candle’!
The event was really nice and simple. Surprisingly there was no bar. The space itself didn’t offer much, very basic. There is not much around the venue either, it’s in a bit of a wasteland. It is close to the train station, and has parking. The garden pictured on the venue website is a little underwhelming in person.
Attended my daughter's graduation here, food was horrendous, I can't understand why all these reviews mention the fantastic food, they can't even cook rice (it was hard and undercooked). And why out of the 27 reviews can I only ever see the same 9?
Was here for a wedding. Beautifully set up, food was excellent and the service Staff could not be faulted. Amenities very clean. Only drawback was the flight of stairs to get up to the Venue. For someone like me who has recently been Hospitalised for 3mths this was a major challenge. Only drawback really.

Attended a Birthday Party function for approx 100 people at Silks. It was so well organised and flowed easily throughout the afternoon. All the waiting and bar staff were professional, friendly, courteous with a smile for everyone. This was a lovely day for the birthday girl and her family and the perfect setting. If there were any issues, the guests certainly weren't aware of them. The food was restaurant quality, well prepared and presented and was delicious. The wine selection was appreciated as it was certainly not 'cask' quality! I think Silks did a super job on this day. I would highly recommend. Also the race course, which the function room overlooks, was splendid. It was approx 2 weeks after the Bendigo Cup so the course surrounds were beautifully presented with lots of roses flowering and many pretty pots of flowers around the verandah. Perfect day.

We attended a wedding here in May 2019. Loved it! Perfect setup, with lawn and marquee outside for your ceremony and pre-dinner drinks, and all within a short walk of each other. Reception room really well set up and looks great. It was the staff who really made the night though: super-friendly, helpful, and switched-on. A real hidden gem!.

Amazing venue by the river. Urban setting made the event extra special, and unique. It was like living in Jeffrey Smart painting for the afternoon.

We attended a charity event organized by a friend, and the help & generosity that was given by venue was incredible.

Venue, location, food, drinks and service all 10/10. I look forward to working with these guys on an event in the future.
Very nice clean venue for gatherings and events ,they can cater to your needs. Also available projector board if you need to do a presentation.
Recently attended my partners Christmas party held at this function center plus a friends birthday party a few months back. On both occasions the location and staff were great and really added to the function which both times went with out a hitch. The photo booth during the night is a big hit.
As well as night competition under lights this Bowls Club competes in the Metropolitan Tenant Competition for both mid-week (Tuesdays) and Saturdays. Barefoot Bowling is available all year round on a selection of different surfaces, synthetic carpet or real grass (Tiff Dwarf).

The Club also has newly renovated clubrooms for club functions and these can be hired for both private social and corporate functions and events. And there's plenty of off-street parking available.

Gem of a place! Bar staff very friendly and helpful. Great vibe, lovely cocktails, amazing decor. Love, love this place! I hadn't had a Singapore Sling since being at Raffles in Singapore, and The Loft made it perfectly when I was last there in December 2017. The two lads I was with enjoyed the choice of beers too.

Lovely restaurant with a beautiful view, willing to cater for food intolerances. The staff here really take care of my dad (he is a member) and are always friendly and welcoming to myself and my partner as his guests.
The Venue, is a hidden gem in the middle of Fannie Bay. My sister had her wedding here and they did a fantastic job of setting up the stage and tables for the function and even assisted me with setting up our laptop to play a video slide before the ceremony began.

I’d recommend this venue to anyone considering hosting a small to medium function as they can cater food and beverages quite well in a nice Air-Conditioned venue.
I don't play golf but I've been here a few times for work functions. I walked through the grounds taking photos and I enjoyed the wonderful food served here at breakfast and lunch. The staff are accommodating and the grounds are amazing.
