Rooms with amazing views to wake up to. 10/10. Good food at restaurant. Highly recommend the scallops and snapper fish. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Facility could do with a little TLC. Def will be back.
I love this Rendezvous Hotel in Scarborough Beach

Love it that we got married at the Roof top 5 years ago .

It became my little get away and stay for home away from home
Very Relaxing view many Restaurants surrounding areas .

Breakfast at the hotel ok

But the Restaurant don’t have much choices and the food is a bit bland .
Had my Birthday there last year
We are not impressed with the food taste .
And slow service.

But top hotel for an ocean view .

Still is my favorite hotel to get away
Rather than the busy City .

Restaurant Menu can improve for more choices and better taste .

Love the swimming pool specially the lighting at night :)
If you want to getaway as a couple this is the perfect hotel to stay at! Local food and drinks. Best pool. Beach is a walk a way. The morning breakfast buffet was also a catch for us! Usually we don’t get breakfast at the hotel, but the buffet had so many options we couldn’t say no!
I regret to share a rather disappointing experience during our recent stay at Rendezvous Hotel. Several issues have marred what was once a preferred choice for accommodation. Here's a breakdown of our concerns:

Maintenance Neglect: The toilet exhaust fan wasn't functioning, and the full tank flush button in the toilet was inoperable – only the half tank button worked. Additionally, we noticed a burn mark/hole on the ottoman.

Amenity Issues: The toilet curtain proved troublesome, refusing to stay halfway; it either stayed up or went all the way down and folded on itself. The study chair in the room was not only broken but also uncomfortable, adding to the discomfort.

Unavailable Facilities: The tennis courts and game room, which we had previously enjoyed, were inexplicably unavailable during our stay.

Service Decline: Despite a considerable increase in prices since our last visit a few years ago, we were disheartened to observe a noticeable decline in the overall quality of services.

Communication Challenges: Adding to the frustration, attempts to contact room service or reception via phone for food orders or issue reports were met with unanswered calls, leaving us feeling unheard and undervalued.

It's disheartening to witness a once-favored establishment fall short on multiple fronts. We sincerely hope these concerns are addressed promptly, ensuring a more positive experience for us and future guests.
The staff who was serving us was so nice and I enjoyed the food.
We stayed here for two nights, as did my friends. Our room was new & very nice, except the stains the backs of curtains and the old, crunchy inner spring mattress. Mattress was not comfy and I regretted the second night because of it. I wrongly assumed because there is a promotion for pillow top mattresses on the rendezvous website that they would have decent mattresses. My friend’s room needed updating though. Her furnishing was faded from the original brown to a weird green with multiple scratches and water swelling. There was no outdoor furniture to sit on either of our balconies and watch the sea view - I emailed ahead of time to ask about this but got no response.

The lobby and straits restaurant was neat and attractive. The buffet breakfast was a standard good Aussie hotel breakfast. You have to pay extra for real coffee - but that is fairly standard in Aussie hotels. The coffee machine provided produced “interesting” coffee. Staff in the restaurant were all very nice.

They needed more staff on pool bar in the hot weather when it’s peak times. Sometimes the wait for service there was incredibly long. I also used the poolside phone to call for room service food to be brought up and it rang out twice during the day. One time at night, I was having a swim and the pool bar was closed so I rang to order a cocktail to be brought up and they told me it was during dinner so it would be a 45minute wait. At least they were honest.

The pool area is old and tired - it is still really good but not at all like in the promotional pictures. It looks super nice in the photos. Lots of the palms are dead, most of the shade covers on the pergolas are broken and missing, the fake rock surrounding the pool has been painted a weird light brown colour. That was a little disappointing because one of the draw cards to book there was the pool area.

The location is fantastic with all the shops and restaurants. The beach and the views are great. There was a very lively and fun night market when we stayed.

Overall it was a very good place to stay, I can see why some people rate it 5 stars but they need to replace the mattresses and address a few of the tired areas. Having to wait for service is just what has happened to some establishments after Covid so that was not a huge concern,
We had our wedding reception here many years ago and spent the first four or five years returning to our beautiful wedding suite and hotel. The hotel was fresh modern exclusive and five star.
The entry from the beachfront was classy modern and inviting... Unfortunately Not anymore!
Returning 25 years later we were shocked.
At $500 a night for three nights we were confronted with old tattered run down furniture... Chipped damaged and very aged... As was the foyer area at reception. Most Furniture frayed and perished with the bottom falling away!
No furniture on the balcony.
All furniture including the fridge cabinet desk and bedside tables need to be upgraded to modern fresh and inviting.
Curtains and carpet grossly ugly, old and outdated.
However having said that we can say the bathroom was modern and clean and staff were very pleasant friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely and our view was spectacular.

Great location to stay staff are friendly. They have a buffet breakfast on the lobby floor, which you need to pay $34 for if you don't purchase it beforehand hand. It's a bit cheaper if you purchase it a day before at the front desk.

There are markets every Thursday and Saturday nights across the road near the beach. The pool is heated and a nice place to hang out. Poolside bar operating there during the day.
The dining experience at Bank Bar Restaurant on Collins Street was exquisite. The steak was cooked to perfection—juicy and flavorful, paired beautifully with savory sides (chips & salad). The portions were huge. Just remind that they dont have takeaway.
The cream brûlées with citrus flavor was an absolute delight, striking the right balance between smoothness and the caramelized top garnished with orange peels.
The ambiance was elegant with a great view of Collins street.
The service was great. Staffs were so kindly and polite.
it is highly Highly recommend.

The herb garden is a splendid sensory experience, the collection of thriving herb species providing not only a lovely view but a variety of rich and wonderful scents. From the warm, spicy odour of Cinnamon Myrtle (Backhousia myrtifolia) to the stunning foliage of Japanese Parsley (Cryptotaenia japonica 'Afropurpurea'), the Herb Garden and Pavilion is a must-visit location within the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Nice venue but service is terrible. Waitress lost the order, no table service and then had to chase and chase to get our food delivered. Eventually arranged our drinks directly at the bar. Could forgive the lost order, but not the total disregard to make it right. Banks on Collins, you could absolutely do better! Quality of food affected by rush together it out too.

My colleagues and I went here for a work Christmas party. We had reserved a table and got the $35 function package. We got a lot of food but we didn't receive our fried squid. The live DJ was great for when we all wanted to dance but then not the best when we wanted to eat our dinner and have a conversation as the music was very loud. The music was very danceable with a good mix of new and old for the mostly millennial crowd. However one of my friend's bought a drink from the bar and then accidentally took the wrong drink and got accused of stealing it and got thrown out. A harsh punishment for an honest mistake. This was a bit of a downer on our night.

A great old pub, serving great local beers and an American BBQ menu.

We went with the Southern Pride sharing menu. Three courses, the last two of which we could finish.

Have been many times before and will be back.
We’ve dined at the clubhouse many times.
The food’s usually well cooked and tasty. Good size portions at a reasonable price. But today’s “healthy” salads were a bit disappointing, Way too much dressing and soggy like they’d been made much earlier and left sitting there. So much for the healthy option. Back to the fish n chips and chicken wings next time!

Lovely atmosphere! Our group of 9 had a fantastic Friday night dining experience. All the meals brought smiles to our faces, but the brisket stole the show – absolutely delightful. The mac and cheese was so yum as well as a side. While the service was a tad slow and could use a boost, our overall experience was great. Would suggest to book in advance to reserve your table, as it gets so busy over the weekends. We're definitely planning on coming back! 🌟🍽️👏
Location and room was perfect! Right near the beach, markets, eateries and shops. The room was clean and modern and the view/pool was amazing!! Only downside was a somewhat rude manager at reception who wasn’t happy about giving us a late checkout. Also note the $200 security deposit :) Overall a good stay and we will be back
Magnificent venue. The amenities are quality. Service and food are amazing. Great parking available. Love this venue.
Luncheon with Seniors Facebook Group, about 30 in the group.
We appreciated the air-conditioning on a 30° day. The food came out in a timely manner, considering the number of guests in the dining room.

We had the team at Goldfields Catering recently cater a 40th at my home. They made the whole process so easy and took away so much stress. The food was great and the team they provided to man the bar and serve the food were so friendly and efficient. We will be using these guys again for any future functions.

Good for the meat they serve. Brisket and broccoli was the rave I was expecting from everyone else's reviews. everything else was meh. Food was surprisingly fast. Inside felt a bit too derelict.

Extremely Appalling Experience at The Bank on Collins.

I visited the venue on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, around 5:55 pm, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While patiently waiting at the bar, I encountered some concerning incidents.

The manager, Iza, displayed a lack of professionalism when she rudely instructed me to move to another location. Despite this, Mia, a staff member, kindly apologized for the wait.

Upon expressing my concerns about the manager's behavior in a non-confrontational manner, I was met with dismissive comments from the red-haired bartender, Alan. He suggested I should go easy on the manager, citing her second language as a reason. I emphasized that English is also my second language, and such an excuse is not acceptable. To my surprise, Alan's response was to direct me towards the exit, stating, "If you're not happy, the door is that way."

I sought confirmation from the manager, who did not deny the bartender's sentiment. This raises serious questions about the establishment's commitment to hospitality.

Adding to the disappointment, the overall atmosphere upon entering the venue was unwelcoming. With the exception of Mia, none of the staff seemed interested in providing a positive experience.

In summary, my visit to The Bank on Collins left me questioning the professionalism and hospitality of the staff. Mia was the sole beacon of warmth and competence in an otherwise disappointing experience.
Great course, good amenities. Well laid out and fairly priced.

This reception had it all. The atmosphere, food and service was absolutely amazing. Well done to Sheldon Reception for an unforgettable experience 👏.
Went to a friend's 40th here, good space. Didn't realise it was so popular with so many diners in the restaurant area. Facilities good and clean. Hubby golfs here also, I can see the appeal, plenty of parking. Drinks were not too expensive either.

Amazing venue! I describe it as Venice Beach meets Mykonos vibe. Saturday night was pumping and a great atmosphere with an eclectic crowd. Dimitri the owner is very hospitable and understands what his customers want. We’ll definitely be back!

Service was pretty good... The food was very good... Neat and organised... Didn't like the entry area, too small...
Lovely venue, clean and well serviced. Beautiful catering. Air conditioned comfort.. a couple of cross noise issues from the function next room.
A shout out to Loz and Zac from the Function and Events team, always a pleasure to work with :)
For an up market looking location and fit out, this place flatters to deceive. The food menu is predominantly pub style classics with free surprises. Having said that, what they do is pretty decent and you won't be disappointed with what you ordered. The bar area is probably the highlight as it's quite large and imposing in the room. There are also balcony seats with a second smaller bar area upstairs if you are a fan of watching others eat from on high.
A lovely place to catch up with friends. I attended a work reunion here and it was lovely. Food was amazing, and reasonably priced. My only concern was the access to the outside seating area for disabled and wheelchairs. I had to walk miles from the carport to access the ramp, then there were steps to tackle to get down to the tables. This was far from ideal as it meant someone had to get my drinks and order my meal for me as I can't manage steps with my walker, and I was exhausted after the walk. Otherwise, it really was a lovely place.
Tried the express lunch menu. Good location, with patient staff. Top environment and OK food.
Beautiful venue, delicious food, as a guest it's to die for but as a bride and groom you need to triple check every aspect and scenario when planning an event here. Paid for guests that did not turn up however their meals were not served to the table, at $150 a head with 5 or 10 guests not show up wether a person is at the table or not the meal has been paid for therefore the meal should still be served. Imagine how much they save on meals paid for but not served? Maybe better communication between the venue staff and the people paying.

It surprises me when someone says that vegetarians have limited choices of food or that we cannot go to certain kinds of restaurants!

This is everything I ate *as a vegetarian* at one of the most famous American BBQ restaurants (aka meats) in Melbourne!

Dishes:
Pulled Jackfruit Tacos 🌮
Dobber’s BBQ Broccoli 🥦
Smoked Corn 🌽

The broccoli is not just a vegetarian’s delight but it probably one of the best ones out there!

Really enjoyed the vibe of the venue! Most amazing cocktails I’ve had in a long time and great service from all the staff. Will definitely be back soon.
I highly recommend having an event at Emerald Lakes Golf Club. We held our mum’s wake here on 17 August 2023 and I can’t thank Georgia and the team enough. It all went smoothly and nothing was an issue. The food was great, private balcony and mobile bar was fabulous. Thank you Georgia.

Wonderful southern styled restaurant, and it Is busy enough to prove it. Excellent wait staff that are attentive adds to the very reasonably priced beer. Highlights were the smoked chicken, mash, chorizo and corn bread. Atmosphere makes you feel like you are dining in New Orleans!
We attended a friends wedding here and it was incredible! The food & staff were absolutely amazing not to mention the fantastci venue.
Had an amazing experience for a second time for our anniversary.

First time was ten yrs and this time 15 yrs.

Jenny was an amazing hostess and we can not recommend any place better!

Thank you for the experience and hospitality xx

We initially went as a group of friends looking to just have a few drinks after work, but we didn’t feel that it was the vibe of Le Bon Ton. We felt like it was more of a dine in place. So we all ordered some food, and let me tell you… I’m so glad we did!!! The food is absolutely fabulous! The mashed potatoes and the kitchen sink salad are a must with any of the other main dishes. Highly recommend!
I probably wouldn’t recommend this place as an after work “pub vibe” type of place. It’s very suitable for dinner and a few drinks though. They have large spaces that would accommodate big groups as well!
Loved it, went back, and would absolutely go again and again!
I attended a nice function. Limited seating, and food was OK. We taxied to and from, so I can't comment on parking. I guess it would be reasonable.

First restaurant as part of our pub crawl so we were pretty sober when we had our dinner here. This place tops my list in places to check out. The ambience and decor is very American and cosy at the same time. Very attentive and really good service at the same time.
Food is amazing if you like your bbq meats.
Southern fried chicken is really good, BBQ broccoli was just amazingly beautiful so is the Blackened cauliflower steak. Mac n Cheese, something you can’t go wrong.
As for the mains, we had the smokers lot which is something I’d recommend so you’d get a taste of everything. Somehow the only criticism if I’m forced to say is that the pull pork needed a bit seasoning.
Also had the pulled lamb shoulder and the Brisket. Love it!
Wash it down with their dark beer. I can’t remember what’s it called. It’s really good.
Overall a 9/10.

As Melb’s froze through a cold June the request was for lunch by a fireplace.

Le Bon Ton it was.

Sadly the fire had 2 tiny sticks of wood on it and it barely offered any heat affect nor visual impact.

The food was delightful we shared numerous dishes still loving the broccoli. And how unassuming the watermelon appears yet the hidden wow flavour sensation.

A must, starting with a Winter Warmer cocktail similar to a steaming Negroni. The nose fill was medicinal in the glass and we perked up as the immediate inner warmth spread internally.

Sadly the fire did not last much longer than entry and we had to drink extra bottles of wine to stay warm

A great little local place, could have been a great winters Sunday session find if it weren’t for the lack of promised fireplace.

The afternoon sun rays through the window landing on our table was quite special

Still worth the relaxed dining visit a just rug up. 🙏🫶🏾 🔥 🧥
Very nice place to do your wedding, anniversary or any party that you may want to celebrate. It looks much nicer than other receptions on the inside. It has a reception area with a piano, a big bar and the huge dining room were there is room for a stage and easily fit 300+ people there.

Had a fun night at the Icon last night. We arrived early and ordered the $10 schnitty, chips and gravy. Such great value! Had a couple of glasses of $5 wine, and then a couple of cocktails because, hey, at $10 they must be the cheapest and best cocktails in Wollongong.

Then Jeyonce arrived and got us all involved in games. We won free shots in the Oreo game.

And the staff are really friendly, especially Anmol who brought our food and drinks to our table.

A great venue that we could walk to.

Food was exceptional, service was amazing. Authentic Greek food at it's best. Highly recommend for a Greek feast. Relaxing atmosphere with music and relaxed vibe.
This venue is outstanding- the owners are the most beautiful people who will make any event or function absolutely perfect. We attended a wedding at this venue and as an event stylist I have seen many venues and worked with many venue owners. I can say it’s one of the best I have ever experienced.
Keep up the amazing work!

Nice place, clean, not all roses though. Drinks were not very forthcoming, had to venture to the bar ourselves a couple of times, meals were OK, but not great. Stuffed chicken wasnt stuffed with anything, it was just a breast with a sauce on top. There was no Lasagne, it was Ravioli so not as what was on the menu.
DJ Casper was great though, kept the peeps dancing.
We (Kathy and Will) had our wedding at White Night Receptions on the 25/3/23 and it was amazing! The venue is beautiful. We had our ceremony in the lovely Secret Garden with reception also at the venue. A huge thank you to Vinh! He was the first person to show us around White Night and he was there to support us on our wedding night. We were so lucky to have Vinh look after us that night and help things run smoothly. We also appreciated his reassuring words. It was a fantastic experience communicating with the team at White Night. Jacqui answered my emails very promptly and Vinh was always available when I or my family had questions. Highly recommend this exceptional venue!

I highly recommend White Night Receptions!
We had our wedding at White Night Reception last Feb 2023, it was such a beautiful place to have our reception at. The guest was impressed despite minimal decorations the place looked very sophisticated and elegant. White Night staff was very good at communication especially Vin, Cong and Jacqui. They made sure that our planning went smoothly and were very patient with our questions and concerns! Cong was present during our wedding and he kept reminding my wife and me to not think about anything on the day and just enjoy ourselves. He ensured that the night was smooth without any hassle to myself or my wife! Thank you so much White Night!
Dena and team catered our wedding recently and did an absolutely amazing job! Food was amazing and portion size was great and the service was incredible and super friendly!

We had our wedding at White Night Receptions in November and it was the greatest night of our lives!
Vin and his team were wonderful to deal with in the lead up, on the night and after our wedding. Communication was excellent and basically all of our requests were accommodated to. Shoutout to Teresa and Lisa for answering all of our questions and meeting our needs.
On the night Cong was there to help us with everything. He was so so friendly and great to work with.

The venue is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained with ample parking and lovely courtyards. We had no issues what so ever with wonderful feedback from our guests.

Thank you White Night!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Emerald Lakes Golf Club and I was thoroughly impressed. Despite it being a busy night, the staff were all friendly and attentive and the service was excellent. The food came out in a timely manner and was cooked to perfection.

I highly recommend the chicken parmigiana and the eye fillet steak - both were delicious. The chicken was juicy and tender, and the tomato sauce was bursting with flavor. The eye fillet steak was cooked to my liking and had a beautiful sear on the outside. It was tender and flavorful and paired well with the garlic mash and veggies.

Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at Emerald Lakes Golf Club and I would highly recommend it to others. Whether you're a golf enthusiast or just looking for a great meal, this is the place to be. I look forward to returning in the future!

The greeting that we received after the long drive from Melbourne was exceptional. The property is extremely well loooked after and the service was welcoming and friendly.

There are two style cabins. Our friends booked the cabins that are in a row with other cabins. They are large, open and clean. We kept commenting on how big these cabins actually are compared to other places that we had visitied.

For me, I booked the Cabin which is more of a house. It is simply sensational. The bathroom is bigger than my bedroom and has a double spa along with a open shower that over looks the pond and mountains. I loved showering in the mornings and looking out over the scenery.
The actual house has two double rooms, large kitchen , outdoor bbq area... i could go on! If you want a romantic and secluded trip away... book the house!

We will be back!
Fantastic accommodation. Has got to be one of the best locations in terms of outlook in Halls Gap. We stayed in the 5 Star Apartment Hideaway Villa and it did not disappoint. The views from the front and rear of the property were really beautiful. Lots of wildlife; kangaroos, emus, deer, our one year old loved it! Great facilities in the villa, it had everything you could need. It was lovely and clean and the owners Jenny and Mark were very accommodating and great to deal with. We will be back!

Carvery meal o.k. But portions were on the small side (vegetables in particular) Not enough choice or quantity in desserts. Waiting /bar staff were nice. Nice venue, but something's need to be improved. I know some other guests feel the same. Toilets were outside and a short distance away. I would consider going back, only if some things are improved.
This is a well appointed, spacious & luxurious chalet, right in the valley of Grampians. We (family of 4 with 2 children) had a great breakaway from busy life. Kangaroos & cockatoos right at your chalet’s door step, with a great view. It’s 3 hrs from drive from Melbourne. Great reenergising experience. We are coming back here during summer and taking a longer break…
What a great location for a weekend picnic, this is a well maintained herb garden🪴, pruning a few little herbs for your home ingredients list won’t harm as long as there’s enough plant left to grow more. Must hire out the pavilion through the botanic gardens trust first for large groups.
Was taken here many times as a kid, really beautiful flowers and a lovely little rotunda. Samll signs naming various plants and many benches to sit on.
Terrific venue, great location and the cabin had it all. Our family of 5 had a great time watching the kangaroos, having camp fires and exploring the property. 5 minute drive to town and so central to all that the grampians has to offer. We will definitely be back
From start to finish Maria and the team at Sheldon were absolutely fantastic!
They went above and beyond and were so understanding with the pressures and difficulties that you face while planning a wedding (through a Pandemic). Our night wouldn't have been as magical without all your help guys, thank you so much!!
We had our wedding at VP in January 2022 after a false start with COVID in 2021. VP were fantastic with every step of the process. They made the stressful process of organising a wedding enjoyable. They had so many suggestions and you can tell they have years of experience in functions. On the day everything was perfect. We had both the ceremony and the reception at VP. They had put in an alternative weather option for the ceremony and luckily for us we didn't need it. Our reception was in the garden marquee which is a stunning room, wall to wall windows overlooking the gardens and city. Our wedding planner Jordyn was patient, answered all our questions and gave us fantastic ideas. On the day our function manager Damien was simply the best. Damien and the staff made our reception run so smoothly. So nice to have everything in one location. Our day was simply perfect and we would not change a thing.
What a beautiful lodge to spend our family getaway. Waking up and seeing wildlife at your door is just magical. We even saw a beautiful deer near the tennis play area in the morning which was extra special.
The lodge was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were able to cook meals as all kitchen utensils are provided. Thank you for looking after us Jenny.
We had our wedding at Vic Park in Feb 2022. Our wedding coordinator was Jordyn who was phenomenal. Her communication was prompt, friendly, and there was no task too big or small for her to solve. She really made planning our wedding a breeze and an enjoyable experience. On the night we had Damien our function team leader who ensured the night ran smoothly and the staff were excellent. Attentive and efficient service with particular care to our guests with dietary requirements. The food was devine, generous portions and plated beautifully. For our photos we used Dreamlife Brisbane and Vic Park were able to drive us around the golf course to all the best spots. I highly recommend Victoria Park for your wedding or any function. Thank you Jordyn for making our wedding day so special!

I attended the Bendigo Pottery Function Centre for an event and a meal at the end of 2021 as part of a graduation celebration. The venue was able to be set up to our needs and the kids certainly had a great time dancing on the stage. The carvery style meal was delicious with ample servings of everything and plentiful trimmings, which was enjoyed by the adults and children alike. The venue itself is so versatile with a fabulous rustic charm. Been here a few times now, always been good.

Breathtaking venue with amazing staff and service! The support Maria and Lily showed us during our 6 postponements we wouldn’t of been able to have our special day without them both! Great food that won’t leave your guests hungry! Cannot thank them enough for everything! Highly recommend Sheldon receptions!

Our experience with Sheldon Reception was absolutely amazing. We had our wedding in 2020. Maria made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. The service we received was on point. Maria made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and was very flexible with how we wanted things. We also booked Sheldon Garden’s for our nikkah (wedding ceremony) and I couldn’t have asked for a better place! Everyone was amazed with the service. The food was delicious. We had great feedback from the guests who attended. On the day, Maria was in the kitchen herself, making sure the food was given on time. As a bride, she didn’t let me stress about anything on the day. I would 100% recommend doing your wedding at Sheldon Reception.

Both the environment and the food were perfect. It’s a big space with fabulous interior decoration, which is perfect for after-work dinner and drinks. The happy hour starts about 4 or 5 cuz I didn’t see it clearly.
It’s really a good place for people working and living around with totally reasonable price.
The Bank was a great place to have dinner. The starters were amazing and very tasty. The chicken ribs were amazing and so were the pork sliders. I would also commend on the excellent cocktails on offer.

Service was top notch and never felt rushed for a late Monday evening. Stella was courteous and happy to oblige to many adhoc requests. She was exemplary in her manners and made our day! Thank you 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Herb Garden is fantastic area for relaxation.

A brief introduction to herbs:
Herbs have been used for medical treatments in since ancient civilizations.
Herbs do not have woody parts above ground; also, they are categorized as flowering plants.
Had dinner there tonight, beautiful buffet, spacious dining room. The home made chicken nuggets &the pumpkin was amazing

We engage Goldfields Catering every December to provide a roast meal with salads and desserts for a large family group of 30 - 40 people. We love the food and the service. There is always an abundance of fresh, quality meat, vegies and salads. Thanks Ash and Dina. You go over and above every time. Yum yum!
Had a lovely walk from the Opera House towards the Royal Botanic Garden. Very peaceful area in the middle of the city where I enjoyed the view of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House at the same time.
Another stunning garden setting inside the Royal Botanic Gardens that can also be hired as wedding venue. It's free to explore of course. It's manicured with exotic herbs and well positioned sculptures making it very formal and elegant yet very inviting and relaxing ambiance. Behind this garden is a walkway with terraced area behind it to escape the heat. This garden is perfect in the cooler months as I find this very exposed to the summer heat. It's a gorgeous place to relax and reflect. Very inviting atmosphere for all ages.
The Sandstone Pavilion - Herb Garden was a pleasant surprise while walking through the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney. It is a beautiful and serene spot to walk around or sit on one of the benches and relax. The plants and sculptures in the Herb Garden are so interesting and imaginative. It is located right near the Calyx and also has quick easy walking access from Macquarie Street.

I had my wedding at White Night Receptions and had never written a review for the longest time because I could never find the right words I felt they deserved to express how happy I was with the experience so never ended up giving a review at all. Thank you Seng and your amazing team at White Night Receptions for giving me my fairy tale wedding that I could only dare to dream of. The venue was beautiful and the support and service you and your team provided was world class.

I've attended a few functions here. Although it's set in a fairly ugly industrial factory area, like many reception venues, it's one of the few that has substantial gardens and landscaping with an elegant and impressive building. There is lots of onsite parking and actually 2 reception buildings. One out the back with its own entrance has gorgeous gardens and water features with indoor and outdoor areas.
The large 2 storey building at the front of the property has an impressive roofed entrance which opens to a large foyer with a double spiral staircase up to the upper level.
There are 2 reception rooms, a smaller one for maybe 200 or so people, and a larger ballroom that easily holds 500 or more people with a band and large dance floor. There is another staircase here winding down from the top floor.
Food is excellent and nicely plated and staff have always been welcoming and friendly.

We hosted Mum's birthday lunch for 50 people at the Bendigo Pottery Function Centre, catered for by Bruce and the team from Goldfields Catering. Highly highly recommended! Bruce was great to deal with, and provided exactly what we requested. Lunch was a fabulous buffet with roast meat and veges, salads, desserts and tea and coffee included. Something for everyone, and everyone raved about how good the food was. The venue is absolutely lovely, and included in the very reasonable price per person. We will definitely book here again for future birthdays, anniversaries, and other events. Thanks heaps Bruce and team!
