Had visits from wild kangaroos, and even a deer. Moment of my life. Great place. Highly recommended.

From the team members at the front counter to the team on deck, wonderful service all round. The ferry itself was clean and well maintained and, as someone who occasionally gets seasick, I barely felt the boats movement even on the really choppy day I chose to go to Rottnest. Thankyou!
Fallow the safety procedure.
Very good stuff and best customer service. We will traveling with you again.
If your going to visit Rottnest Island I would highly recommend SeaLink for your ferry of choice. I found them so easy to book with online and they were so professional in response. As I said I booked online and received my boarding pass straight to my mobile so on my travel day just travelled to the dock ,they scanned my pass and on board I go. Absolutely seamless. On board plenty of comfortable seating and climate controlled cabin which also has a kiosk for coffee or cold drinks. There ar toilets on board so everything you need. Also after being on the island I decided to alter my departure time so pulled out my mobile gave them a call and straight away time was changed. Again new boarding pass sent straight to my mobile. Couldn't recommend this company highly enough

Sealink is the perfect choice for travelling to Rottnest Island! The ferry departs directly from Perth Harbour or Fremantle. Fremantle is easy to reach by Train from Perth City. The Ferry Takes about 30 min oneway and if you are Lucky and there is good weather conditions you can enjoy a beautiful view from the Deck of the ship. The staff was very helpful and friendly and they also handed out some waterice for everyone :). You also can lend some bicks from sealink or on the Island itself. The prive is absolutely fair and sometimes there are Coupons for 10-15% off. I would recommend taking the last possible Ferry Back to Fremantle because only than you can see a beautiful Sunset!

amazing experience, comfortable and friendly staff. Was able to extend my stay by making one quick call on the day.
Disappointed apartment not as stated as booked initially for the first two days of the visit there was a bad stench we had to leave all the doors and windows open to get rid of the smell. Pool was not operating we needed it for health reason and we where not properly notified . We where told by a residence that the pool was having issues for many months. There where no fly screens. On the plus side it was a large apartment, with beautiful views and good parking. Worth two and a half stars.

Wonderful quiet location in the beautiful Grampians, the cabins are very clean and fully equipped, great bbq area, nice little pool and playground. Wildlife right outside the window. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's a must stay for those travelling here
Great service, friendly staff members. Felt safe while travelling though the sea was still a bit wavy. Booked through telephone before my trip. The lady on the other side was very friendly and helpful. Specially when I told her that would be my first ever trip to WA, she sent a detailed itinerary which was very helpful for a new person to get to know about the Rotto. Caught the 9am ferry, saw the happiest animal in the world Quokka, built trust, took some selfie with a happy fella, did the Bayseeker tour. Booked the returned ferry on the same day at 2.30pm on 12/11/2023.
Unfortunately had a bad experience just before disembarking from the ferry as I was racially abused by another passenger. Chose to sit on the first floor during returning. When I stood up and started coming downstairs, one guy started bullying from behind me, started making some noise with his mouth while I was waiting in the stairs and his partner also was laughing and supporting him. Had to return to my hotel as it was a work trip to Perth, didn’t have enough time to challenge him.
This incident completely ruined my whole day, first had a thought may be people of WA are racist and didn’t like me to visit there. When shared with my workmates, they said most probably that person was a tourist too like me. That made me feeling a bit better and I truely believe and wish that every tourist should feel safe in everywhere, and this incident shouldn’t happen again to anybody coming from a culturally and linguistically diverse background.

Absolutely loved our stay at Halls Gap Log Cabins, the hosts were really friendly, the cabins were extremely clean and almost everything was provided. The little one loved the playground and the BBQ area very clean and again utensils provided. Seeing the kangaroos and emu each day was so good. We will definitely be coming back.
My parents stayed here. Both in their eighties. The lounge was absolutely disgusting, even after they tried to clean it. We couldn’t sit on it because there was no support.
The dishwasher was switched off at the power point, under the sink.
The chairs outside wrre old and ripped. The cushioning wad coming out of them. We sat at the table for lunch and it was wobbly and falling to bits. The insinuation that because it was a Groupon we shouldn’t expect a good quality room is not acceptable.
My parents have stayed at this resort multiple times and this stay was very disappointing. Totally refused any refund. They offered to move them to another room but they were only there for a couple of days and too much work for them to move.
I booked a sea view apartment, and the view was all blocked by part of building and big trees. It was on Level 4. Not happy with the view.
Very rude staff members Karen and the manager Amy was really rude. They are just horrible. We did a weekend check-in and the whole next 2 days we were out of the apartment. They were very rude and didn't understand our situation and they asked us to physically come in to the reception from where ever we are and show the face and photo id at that time else they going to remove access from the fob. We have to beg them to keep it until 5 clock on the day. We have done all our payment fully and still they wanted to remove access from us. Cant believe the way the manager talked to me over the phone. We were already in the theme park and fully paid for the day until 5pm. Because of these ladies we had to come out of the park with kids at 2.30pm. They ruined the whole trip. Kids were very sad. Also we paid lot of money and flew from Melbourne to Gold coast only because of the theme parks. And it was my son's 10th birthday gift. These ladies ruined everything. I tired to explain her in everyway and she was very selfish. I said I can send all the details over the phone with pictures. She didn't give us a single chance. Didn't care that we are their customers. Talked to us very rudely and very racist.
Also we found many cockroaches in the apartment, and we raised the issue with reception, the same lady said close the balcony doors and stay. Didn't even care or apologise for that. The description says luxury apartments, but they kept only one little shampoo, 2 tiny tiny soap in the bathroom for 4 people for 7nights.Not a single tissue. Also in the kitchen they kept only 4 coffee sachets + 4 sugar sachets for 4 people. When I ask from them the lady said that all they give you have to buy them. Even a cheap caravan park cabin stay will have all the items for all the days that we stay.

The staff Karen and Amy, they are the worst people that I've ever met.
Beautiful clean park. Close to lots of things to do. Walking distance to Serpentine Falls and a short drive to breweries, cafes and wineries. Amenities are spotless, and friendly, welcoming hosts. Highly recommend.

We booked a 3 Bedroom, and only one bedroom has an aircon machine in it. There’s only 2 showers/toilets and you can’t shower at the same time otherwise they are stone cold!!! The pool and spa is great though and the reception staff was so nice. They’re super huge and spacious rooms with a nice view of the water.

A wonderful day on Rotnest Island. Perfect weather. Boat trip was lovely, crew really friendly. Looking forward to visiting again.
This park is great, large sites on beautifully maintained grounds. Staff were very pleasant and easy to deal with. The park is in a great location for access to just about everywhere. Very clean facilities. We would recommend a stay to anyone. Also reasonably priced for travellers. Thanks Serpentine Caravan Park. Cheers. Casey and Jill from Victoria
Lovely place to stay in! Friendly staff. The floors in the chalet was dirty though (we are used to wearing no shoes inside, but we had to put on our shoes throughout the whole stay, might not be an issue if you're ok with wearing footwear indoors). The rooms felt really nice and warm even in winter. Wish there was a kids playground. Overall enjoyed our stay 😊

Stunning location. Fantastic cabins.
Better than we expected.
Like an old world charmed log cabin as nature intended with a beautiful touches.
For the price, it was brilliant.
Oh and the fireplace was magnificent and very warm.
We will definitely be returning. Thanks
This is my go to place when i come to Perth. The unpowered area is nice, grassy and flat. Is close to the road though but you can tune out to the traffic.
It does get windy, sometimes extreme wind warnings are issued.
Dont fight nature, you wont win. Be prepared for it.
I sometimes book the small cabin no ensuite. Is a nice warm place to relax. Has basic facilties, cooking, tv, fridge.
The communal facilities are great and clean.
Kitchen is well set out, bbq is good (depends how the last person left it)
Staff are wonderful and always helpful.
Location is nice and the national park is short walk to hiking trails and waterfall.
Great service with plenty of seats. Complimentary icypoles to counter travel sickness. Crew also collected the rubbish after we were done. Ride was not too bumpy. Fast boarding and very on time. Enjoyed the trip to Rottnest and back.
Beautiful, cosy and spotlessly clean accommodation in the heart of Halls Gap. Loved the spectacular views, super comfortable beds and the attention to detail. We spent a week hiking in the heart of winter and it was great to return to such comfortable accommodation each evening. Hope to return soon.
Absolutely beautiful home to holiday in! Perfect for families with plenty of space, incredible views and fantastic location with shops just a quick walk away. We’ll be back 😍
We booked a 2 bedroom suite and were quite disappointed on the basic furnishings. The room hadn't been maintained at all. A linen closet had no handle(it was sitting on shelf) The shared bathroom door handle was loose and didn't lock from the main room. Bed linen was at a minamim. On checking out we dropped the keys at drop off and realised we had left some small gifts on kitchen bar. After immediately calling reception, they said they were unable to open the room for us to retrieve the gifts til cleaning staff went in. I contacted hotel on the Monday and I have not had any call back since March14th...Not very professional at all...
We absolutely loved our short stay at Heath House. Perfectly located just a short stroll to cafes and shops & quiet enough to enjoy the serenity of the beautiful surroundings. The house had everything we could wish for and was a cosy warm luxury escape from the chilly weather. Vouchers were supplied to use at the local cafes and businesses (what a great idea) & finally, the very friendly kangaroos and bird life made for some lovely precious memories. 5 stars - we cannot wait to return.
Very quiet and good facilities, coffe shop and petrol station by walking distance. Very windy though. good if you wanna be away from town :)
Booked a 1 bedroom apartment with DeVille Apartments for a weeks stay in Main Beach. Absolutely stunning views right in the waters edge. Amazing staff at the reception, always so kind and responsive! The apartment was in the heart of everything, across the road is the surf lifesaving club with delicious food, and you are able to swim literally off your doorstep! The Uber ride into surfers is roughly $7 and takes 5 min. Or you can jump on the e-bikes or walk the esplanade for amazing views. Overall this apartment was amazing!! Will be defs coming back to this apartment for our next stay!!
Heath house it is one of the most comfortable and well appointed tourist and holiday accommodation we have stayed in. Excellent location to all of Halls Gap recreation activities, cafes and restaurants. Stunning views of the Grampians . A must to visit.

Room was lovely, pool was great and excellent location- however, the low star rating is for a SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. We were on the 6th floor and all bedroom windows opened the entire way (some up to a meter wide maybe) and had NO screens. Also, they are very easy to open. Anyone with young children should avoid at all costs. Is this even legal in Australia? Pic shows hight and size of windows (didn't take one when open).
WOW. Just WOW!! We loved our stay! Everything was so clean and convenient. The kids loved the telescope and outdoor spa! The beds were so comfortable we didn't want to leave. Highly recommend, We will be back.
The room wasn't terribly clean, heaps of spiders webs and outdoor area hadn't been cleaned for a while.
The bed was an average looking chipboard frame and we broke it and had to pay nearly as much for the room for a new bed frame. In hindsight we should have taken pictures.
Great location. We had spend 3 nights in the house. We enjoyed lot, we did boating, kayaking and fishing.

We have stayed in places like this all around the country - but this is the BEST. From the friendly welcome, to the clean cabins, all very well equipped and set up, it is great.
While it is a couple of minutes drive from the town, that's no real problem and is more than compensated for by the spectacular mountain views and the ever-present close up wildlife.
Will always be one of our favourite places.
We went there for camping with kids. But it was too windy. We couldn't sleep first night at all. We booked for two nights. So we went to the office and explained everything to the lady. She was so nice pardon me I forgot your name. Thanks a lot for understanding our situation and she refunded us one days money..
This house is magnificent, clean and fresh - a pleasure to rent such places.
It is very spacious and ideal for people of any age, just be careful with kids as you have access to the waterways
The house is very tidy, but kitchen, clean rooms - loved the master bedroom

The deco is also really nice
All the equipments work perfectly
The spa and sauna are the perfect add on

Tamara was really helpful and nice - highly recommend and will buy the place if we win the loto 😁😂

Great Apt to stay. Have been lived there for more than 7 yrs. Building manager Bill takes good care of the building, responsible person.
Location is great, we were lucky to get a water view..
Furnishings were modern, couch was leather and comfortable. The beds were horrendous especially in the 2nd bedroom - they were so hard my back was in spasms every morning and I could hardly walk. Nearly packed up and came home early..
They definitely only supply 1 of everything, 1 dishwasher tablet, 1 dish liquid sachet, 1 garbage bag, 1 roll of toilet paper. I really believe you should be supplied 1 of everything for every day of your stay. If they require you to buy your own they should let you know in advance so you can pack them and bring with you from home..
We stayed in October and weather was mid to high 20's, I would absolutely hate to have stayed in summer, no bedrooms are air-conditioned, only the loungeroom, we nearly moved our beds into the loungeroom.
The bedrooms did have ceiling fans but even on high it would have spun faster turning it with your finger. We had to ring downstairs for them to bring up pedestal fans too, we had them both going to help. So I would definitely not stay in summer or stay if you don't like really hard beds. Other than that was ok. Restaurants downstairs were great but none of them deliver to your room nor can you even order over the phone and go down to collect.
Our 2nd bedroom didn't even have a wardrobe to unpack anything, our suitcases had to stay in the loungeroom.
I don't think we would stay again as our priority in accommodation first and foremost is comfort , then air-conditioning followed by view...
I would rate 0 star if I could. Our experience was completely ruined by someone living at the apartment taking our car spot for half of our stay. Management and owner clearly did not care and promised compensation initially however decided not to fulfil this promise post our stay. Very disappointing experience and would not recommend at all.
Clean amenities, nice pool for warmer days. Grass sites are lovely, rock (big rocks) gravel sites however are not. We have stayed a few times & will make a point of asking not to be located on a gravel site. Live music on a stay was great!
I would not recommend, the room we stayed in did not look like the photos. The internet photos date back some decades. The room we were in was falling apart, very dirty needed a desperate deep clean. The receptionist was short with her attitude. The pool and spa are was amazing, the location was amazing, the parking was great.
Lucky enough to stay on Level 25 - amazing beach and gold coast views! The apartment was clean, comfortable, well-equipped (kitchen, laundry and bathrooms), easily accessible, underground parking, friendly staff, well maintained. (We went for the view rather than a renovated apartment but our room was perfectly fine).
Great pool and spa, Australia Fair shopping centre close by, very short trips to theme parks.
Highly recommend this place and hope to stay there again in the future.

(Vacuum cleaner didn't work and no replacement was provided despite requests but who wants to vacuum on holidays anyway??)
It is an amazing place to stay, all the staff are really friendly and willing to help. The only bad thing that will say is that the shower head would either point extremely to the or right. Apart from that could not fault it at all. It is in the perfect spot to the theme parks and to surfers paradise
Moved in 2 weeks ago, so far so good!
The on-site management is friendly and helpful.

Building is incredibly well taken care of, the residents seem to really love living here too.
Immaculate house in the heart of Halls Gap, right near restaurants, cafes and hikes. Zero noise, kangaroos and stunning scenery greeted us on arrival and the view from the back deck was everything we hoped for. The house was so tidy and well stocked with lovely furniture and the basic necessities. Our favourites were the huge bright lounge room with lovely couches, the large spa and the comfy beds. Very communicative and friendly host who makes sure the house is presentable for every guest. I would highly recommend a stay at Heath House.
Really loved our two nights stay at the Heath House. The property is very modern and luxurious. It has amazing mountain views and you'll be surrounded by kangaroos and bird chirpings. Cathy was very responsive and kind. Hoping to visit again in the future❤
Wow! Everything about our stay at Heath House was 5 ⭐️. Cathy’s communication in the weeks leading up were so welcome. And the house itself is just stunning, with everything you could need. We (myself husband & 9yo daughter) had a long weekend in the middle of a freezing cold winter and we were so happy with Heath House. The house was just like being at home, full kitchen, quality furnishings, peaceful, with a paddock of kangaroos to look out over to the Grampians. Our daughter even enjoyed a quick hot tub in the rain. We will be back and we’ve told all our friends and family about Heath House too, they oohed and aahed over our photos and videos. Thanks Cathy!!
Just moved here. Friendly management, great parking and close to everything!
I lived in proximity for almost a year. The property manger was helpful throughout my tendency, from moving, living, and moving out. Apartments are nice and location is excellent (great for airport workers).
We moved into the Proximity almost 2 months ago and after reading a couple of the more critical reviews, I have to say that I honestly don't know where they are coming from - I am a stay-at-home mom and therefore naturally see the managers quite frequently and I have NEVER experienced anything but friendly faces and competent help in every possible way.
In the last couple of years we have lived in various different places all around the world and I can really say that this is a great building to live in - and very family friendly :-)!
Great water view from my apartment. I hear the management isnt going to stick around long. So hopefully a more professional management will be taking over soon.
Bad management, unprofessional, rude people that dont even know how to behave properly not to mention do any kind of work. They are poison and shouldnt be working anywhere near people. Today in the morning at the reception another example of their managerial lack of skills: was told to piss off when asked about mail.

Check in was smooth and the staff was friendly but the room was quite awful. There was stains all over the floor carpet and what I think was mold in the shower.. I think it’ll be better after renovations.
The beds where nice and comfortable.
The garbage truck woke me up at 6am, I don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing?

We attended a function here and decided to stay the night on fairly short notice. The function room was lovely and the staff very attentive, however the accommodation was rather below standard. The room was cramped and there was no view, just a filthy concrete courtyard and a wall. The bathroom needs urgent attention to get it to an acceptable level. Despite having paid in full at check-in we were also required to pay a security deposit ( although there was no minibar) which wasn't refunded until almost three weeks later. Disappointing.
Loved this place, for starters the staff are awesome friendly and very informative. There are many different areas to the hotel, bars a restaurant, balcony, function facilities, gaming room and outdoor area. The rooms were comfortable and clean without useless bells and whistles and the showers have great water pressure. Located in the heart of the CBD, close to everything. Definitely recommend staying here if you aren't pretentious. They also have the best elevator in town.
Love it. Great views. Great maintenance people. Great owner.
nice apartmenent clean n secure.. location is prefect.. a lot of bus stop to go anywhere..
just a cross of UNSW ( good for student )
If you're looking for good inner city accommodation, inspect this place. It's pretty cool.
Fantastic location when staying in Adelaide. Although we were in a refurbished room, the overall ambiance of this hotel is about average and perhaps a little below par, but we did quite like its character. A point of particular interest is the old style passenger lift. Some may describe it as old and outdated, but we were impressed and pleasantly amused by its old style character and personality. If it could talk, I'm sure it would have a story to tell. If you're looking for a 5 star establishment I'd steer clear, but if location, value for money and unique character is on your agenda, its worth a go. We enjoyed it and kudos to the friendly staff. Its our new hotel of choice when visiting the city of churches.
This place need strata care... bad.

I get that the Ambassador is supposed to be old, but there's old & then there is just run down & unhygienic. My family have just spent the weekend here & our room was totally unacceptable. THE PHOTOS ON THE WEBSITE ARE INCORRECT!!! THE ROOM DID NOT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THIS!!!
Black mould all over the shower curtain & all through the shower (grout & tiles)
Leaking shower head. We could only use it on a very low flow so it didn't squirt water out all over the floor (slip hazard right there!).
The room smelt musty & so did the bedding.
Broken toilet (button was missing, making it hard to flush)
The beds were definitely in need of replacement, they were wobbly & every single spring could be felt.
These are just a few issues we had. The staff were friendly but the Ambassador could definitely use an update. Not just for looks but for hygiene reasons. I would not recommend to family or friends to stay here in a hurry. Also not worth the $$ we spent to stay here.
