Experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Their care and skills have helped enhance both my boys swim capabilities fast and with confidence. Reception staff are extremely helpful and always friendly. Big shout out to our current teachers Shrey & Mona who are incredible!! Highly recommended Gullivers!!

Fantastic swim school. They are always so friendly and attentive. I love how the swim teachers always let you know how your child is going after every lesson. Highly recommend
Brought our 4 month old baby for baby splash swim lessons offered for free.
Staff have been great.

Our son has been attending Gullivers for while now and have seen huge improvements in his swimming skills and confidence. A special mention to Leo his instructor for doing a wonderful job with him and being patient. Thank you Leo
The service has declined. Poor communication. Kids only get reviewed every 3 months!! Thats if they get reviewed. My child has lost the passion for swimming as she was kept in the same class for a long time and was not taught anything new nor was it communicated to her of what she required to achieve to move up to a different class. Waste of money and time. Multiple parents have also expressed the same disappointment and dissatisfaction. Go elsewhere!!!

At almost 68 I'm finally learning to swim! I am currently doing adult swimming classes at Gullivers, which I have been for the past 9 months. The instructors are great and very encouraging, I have gone from not even being able to float, to learning strokes. I now feel confident in the water, to be with my grandchildren who also do lessons and love it!

Both my 9 and 6 year old have been attending Gullivers since they were babies. Haven’t ventured anywhere else as we are happy with service, communication and relationships between kids and staff. Kids receive feedback on how to improve and communicate with parents also. Established family run business that knows how to teach kids to swim and does it well!
My 3 year old was absolutely petrified to swim under water. The water confidence class was an absolute game changer. Now I can’t keep her away! The instructors are so caring, professional and knowledgeable. The school is very organised but also has a family feel to it. So grateful to have Gullivers

Gullivers in Coomera is second to none. My daughter is very shy and takes a long time to warm up to people. Our swim teacher is Miss Kelly and she does such an amazing job making my daughter feel safe and secure whilst also enjoying her water confidence class. I cannot praise Miss Kelly enough 🫶🏼.

Very disappointed with this swimming school. Way too many people. My daughter was not progressing. And the worst part remains their absence policy. When you are absent, they charge you for the course but issue you a token to use before an end date. Just be careful when leaving, even if your token is not expired, you will not be able to rebook for another class. Even if it’s a course you paid for. This is called theft.

Went into carlile to enroll my son into swimming lessons as he is beginning primary school. I was assisted by a lovely girl named Sophia, made swimming lessons for my son a breeze.
I loved going here. My son always had a great lesson and we loved hanging in the paddle pool before and after his lesson. I always had trouble with parking every time. It is such a busy street and if one of the 12 parks were taken, we had to park streets away or drive around waiting for someone to leave. Staff are amazing.
The instructor we had was very good Joyce . The lessons themselves are extremely repetitive my daughter board very quickly we kept on getting promised she'd be moved up a level never happened. If you want boring repetitive classes that don't actually teach your child how to swim this is the swim school for you. Class sizes where silly 5 to 6 students per lesson in a half hr time frame.
Excellent facility for kids to learn. My son has been to a few different swim schools before but he has progressed at Carlile the most. Professional teachers and staff.

Took my kids there for 3 lessons, they went from only can do a bit free style in 5 meters to backstroke and breaststroke in 10 meters pool, super amazed by the coach, who paid so much attention on their techniques. The pool is always heated and super clean, water is gentle for kids too. Best of all, they get to play a bit after the class. They dont want to go home! Highly recommend!!!!

The best Chinese swimming instructor in Brisbane, very experienced and extremely patient, so lucky I tried this swim school. Pool water temperature is appropriate, almost 29 degrees water temperature around 10am, very comfort in winter time, rather than learning in the outdoor pool freezing, I highly recommend this swimming school.
Also, the fee is reasonable compared to any other swim instructor.
My next goal is freestyle, and she recons this can be achievable up to 1 month, so exited!!!!

The coach is very patient.
Best local swim school with heated pool! The coaches are nice and friendly, my son enjoys his swim classes here.
All the staff are friendly and qualified, they focus on skills of swimming as professional swimmers. All my kids receive training from them 4+ years. I would strongly recommend this service to others.
The water was so cold that the coach didn't bother to warm it up in advance. Sometimes it is not open on rainy days, saying that the solar energy does not generate electricity
The coach would sit on the bank and watch us swimming in every class. In a few hours, he would go into the water to teach the students to swim. Each class lasted for one hour, but the teaching time was no more than two minutes.
Great school
My wife recently took my 3 year old Son in for swimming lessons. He has been diagnosed with Level 2 Autism which we communicated to them prior to the first lesson. It was less then 10 minutes before the trainer told my wife that it will not work out and that Aquatic Achievers wasn't for them. My wife left embarrassed and crying. We are absolutely disgusted with our experience with Aquatic Achievers.
Perfect place to learn how to swim, my partner loves it.
One of our favourite moments of the week is coming to Aquatic Achievers Gumdale. Our son has slowly but surely progressed since we started here and Joyce always makes an effort to encourage him and try new things when he might be afraid or struggling. It’s a great community of parents and staff are friendly and supportive. The goals and feedback are clearly communicated and seeing the little improvements every week has been so rewarding. Thanks so much! 😊

really good teachers and amazing experience my daugther has while she learns how to swim their programmes are tailored accordingly to their recommended age.....
Teachers are great, good to have a warm pool for kids to learn swimming during winter.

However, our child is constantly kept in the same class for over 30 lessons, and cannot be progressed because our child doesn't know how to take a second breath. Problem is, you look at all the other kids in the other lanes none of them take a second breath except for the Sunday classes who do laps. No matter what we cannot move up.

So instead of learning how to swim. My child is going every week to play with other kids, can't even move up a class for a challenge so she will want to learn how to take a second breath. Waste of time, waste of money.
Worst experience ever. My child nearly drowned attending this swim school. If you send your kids here, make sure you sit there and keep an eye on them.
My son today had is first lesson and he loved it! All the staff and instructors are great! Definitely recommend it.
My daughter has just started level 1 swimming lessons and she loves it. I cannot speak highly enough of Miss Carol, she is incredible! She keeps my daughter engaged and safe, lessons are never boring and it’s quickly become one of the highlights of our week. Would highly recommend.

This swim school is by far the best we have been to on the Gold Coast! We have been to 4 other swim schools and they were all very much the same; same boring songs, same unenthusiastic teachers, same routines…Bree Swim is different. The level of engagement with the children is exemplary, no songs and the best part is that my son has improved beyond expectations. David is a skilled and dedicated teacher, the kids just love him. I highly recommend this swim school! A++
Great instructors and fabulous facility. Highly recommend coming here

Lovely swim school. We took our baby to the Baby Splash classes and she had a great time. Jess is such an amazing, friendly instructor. We will definitely be back!
Very disappointed with the inconsistency between the professionals responsible for assessment. I have received different feedback in what needs to be improved and as a result my son is confused about what needs to be improved, lost motivation and confidence. Teachers have also changed and appear not to be aware of what advice to give him for improvement. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. Also noticed that the next level appears to be very busy, so not sure if the two things are related.

Everyone at Sam Riley's Swim School is wonderful! Trish the instructor is hands on and lovely to the kids. The ladies at the front desk are always smiling and helpful. The areas are clean and well organised. There are showers and plenty of change tables on the pool floor! My husband actually loves taking our 8 month old to his lessons now. We attempted Rackleys and it was horrible. Definitely recommend Sam Riley's swim school!!
Updated detailed review (same 5* rating!): we have done the full term of Baby Splash classes here and our son absolutely loved it. Classes with Miss Carol were an absolute highlight of our week, and our baby has developed love for water. We believe these classes also contributed positively to his motor development and body awareness. Unfortunately due to next level’s timetable we had to go elsewhere for his next lot of classes, but would have kept coming otherwise and absolutely loved this swimming school.

Best Swim teacher ever! As a toddler my child never wanted to be in the water with a teacher without me. David has taught my child independence and he really cares about a safe swim environment. He never takes his eyes of the children, teaches at a stepped level, keeps it at a relatable level to each child, teaches them to focus on what he is teaching and yet with all this makes the classes so much fun. I highly recommend David Bree @Breeswim and give him a 10 out of 10.
its always a pleasure to go the girls at the front desk are great and my grandsons swimming teacher Lisa is the best Abel loves it he is so happy and when he is happy Tanya and I are happy

Highly recommend David at Bree Swim! When our previous swim school closed, we tried several main-stream schools but struggled to find consistency with instructors or flexibility with programs. David is excellent at identifying what the kids need in developing technique and has the right balance of stretching them while making it fun and enjoyable. We have been with David for six months and I’m blown away with the progress our kids have made. I came across David from these reviews and if you’re not sure with how your kids are progressing, then give him a go - you won’t be disappointed!

David is a great teacher and it's a really fun class for my newborn, who went until he was about 6 months old.
David knows instinctively what to do, never pushes your baby too far and just gets a great balance between fun, learning and novelty in every class.
It was a highlight for my son and I going to these classes and they are very good value too!
My children have been going here for about 6 months and I highly recommend. All the staff and teachers are incredibly friendly and really show a keen interest in the children's development and their approach to teaching individuals. Very happy with this swim school.
We love this swimming school, great programme and very friendly coaches. Their online portal and mobile app makes booking so easy! Recommend it to all my friends and neighbors.
Amazing staff! Before starting lessons with Megan our 4 year old was quite terrified of the water and was very distressed going near the pool, after only a few lessons he is now very comfortable in the water and gets so excited to come to his swimming lesson each week. Cannot fault the team at Rackleys, they are so wonderful and they all really care about the children they are teaching!
The swim program is excellent as are most tge instructors. However, a member of the reception team leaves much to be desired. She is judgmental and capable of mum shaming, awful experience- definitely not service with a smile. Had reception (the face of the business) been better I would have given it 4 or 5 stars.

Brilliant Swim school! Our son has been going to Sam Riley's for 3 years. All of the staff are amazing, from coaches to reception. Pricing is competitive with other local swim schools. I grew up club and comp swimming and was very particular when it came to finding a school that not only taught pool and water safety but taught correct technique, in a fun, educational and safe environment. My son naggs and naggs to go to Swimming, we love it!
Just enrolled our son for his swimming classes at Stanford swim 🏊‍♀️ school & we couldn’t be any happier. Neat facility , amazing teachers(Karissa) & outstanding staff ( Nicole) at the reception who thoroughly explained us about the entire process.

Our little boy likes to swim & loves this place.

Wish them all the best !!

Highly Recommended !!
very friendly staff and always try to find ways to accommodate your needs/time! instructors are pro and the kids love them!
The swimming pool is quite small. There is no shallow end so my son got scared. Friendly staff.
This swimming school is far better than my last. They really focus on independent swimming which has given my son so much more confidence in the water in only 3 weeks. He always loved swimming and I became concerned when he all of sudden stopped enjoying it. After moving schools I realised the teaching method at his previous school was behind for his age and didn't give him enough independence.
Can't recommend enough, their program and staff are amazing. Kids absolutely love it

Simon was fantastic and accommodating to our needs and schedule. Simon showed dedication in accessing my son. The instructors my son has had have been professional yet created a fun environment to learn. Overall our experience has been very positive.
In a word this place is awesome. I've been looking around quite a few different swim schools to find a place that can fit all of my kids in, and when I finally discovered aquatic achievers I was pleasantly surprised. The facilities here are second to none. Plenty of space, adequate numbers of stuff, and the building seems to be new and well maintained.

What really stood out for me was the quality of the reception staff. with different kids at different levels of swimming they spent the time with me to find a day and time slot that was most convenient for me. I must have been there for 15 minutes or more just trying to find a day and time that would fit all of the lessons in so that I didn't have to make multiple trips back to the swim school. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.
We have been attending Carlile Swimming in Ryde since July this year with our 4 and 6 year old, both are having a great time while learning the highly valuable skill of swimming. We have been to a couple of other places over the years, but I have to say this is the best one by far. So if you have a child that needs to learn how to swim I would highly recommend

These guys are great. The classes are never too crowded, the teachers all appear to genuinely enjoy what they do, the water is heated all year around and the place is always clean. Most importantly my kids are having a great time learning to swim!
My partner took my 18 month old for his first official swimming lesson today. She came home crying. The teacher was aggressive, rude and very judgmental. She aggressively belittled my partner for not knowing all the techniques and commands given this was the first class after the induction/assessment session. The admin staff were helpful and willing to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, her actions made my son upset who cried and screamed for most of the class. The idea was to help our son to be confident in the water and learn in a healthy and encouraging environment. Hopefully the next class is better with the new teacher.

These guys are awesome! All the staff are super friendly teachers are awesome facilities are always clean and tidy. only thing that could possibly be improved would be a coffee machine so we could buy coffees while we wait for our kids early morning lessons!! 😁😉 * edit they have a coffee van there on weekends now!! I already have 5 stars and can't add anymore so I'll put them down here!! *************************

David's adult learn to swim classes are great. I never learned as a child so felt quite nervous of swimming and going in pools, especially putting my face under the water! David has been really supportive and has a great teaching style with the right amount of humour to make it fun. I'm now happily swimming and looking forward to the next group of adult swimming lessons with Breeswim to keep learning. 100% recommend.

Tom Harris and the team at Sunnybank Sprinters are the best in the business. From learn to swim, to developing elite talent you wont find better! Thanks heaps guys for all you have helped our children achieve in swimming!!!
Fabulous school! After just 3 lessons my 3 year old now WANTS to go to his swimming lessons. No more anxiety. He just has fun. We both couldn't be happier. 😁😁😁
Good swimming school for kids. Awesome indoor environment. Only issue is that it is crowed on weekends. They lost lot of good teachers recently. I hope they will hire and retain good teachers.
Joyce has no idea how to handle kids and as a result requested to not teach my son and used his behavior as an excuse. Perhaps she should look for a new career if she cannot take the pressure of teaching kids who wont listen to every instruction (he's 5 with an audio processing disorder) Well done on excluding him and making him feel worthless. You have zero empathy and made it very clear you despised teaching our son. Management begged us to come back ( with a different teacher) after we pulled our 2 kids out as a result but the whole situation was handled extremely poorly and we would never consider this option.
Fantastic swim coaches/teachers and really well run program, our girls have made huge improvements and actually enjoy going to lessons! There's also a special needs swim program which is brilliant. The great man, the legend Laurie Lawrence also makes cameo appearances on pool deck from time to time and the kids and parents love it! Highly recommended for all...
Very useful information and techniques for children learning to swim. At our classes in Victoria, the kids just bounce around singing songs. This school gives survival skills in the water as well as being fun.

My daughters had 1 term learning and Ryde Aquatic Centre and seemed to be making backwards steps with their swimming. Great teachers, my daughter loves going to lessons!
My son has been coming here for 2 years, to after school care and swimming lessons. He could not swim when we started and he is now learning butterfly. He is very shy and introverted and he has grown socially. We like all the staff and have never had any problems to date.
We had our first lesson at the Burleigh centre for my 2 year old on Saturday and I cannot recommend it enough! This was the first time he has enjoyed swimming lessons. Jane did an amazing job engaging with him and making the water fun (he was hesitant at the beginning).

There is also a sense of community there with the owners being Laurie's daughters. I met some other mums who have had their kids at the swim school for years and made lifelong friends. We will be back!

Spoke to Mick bout the membership. Was advised its $92.50 for 2nd and 3rd session considering my kid was already taking her 1 session/week through their voucher. Sent wife painstakingly with 2 infants and 1 kid to the pool for enrolment only to be turned down on the initial advise and quoting a higher price. Talk about bad customer service. Not recommended! Will either take up Rackley or Joyous. Atleast they don't back flip on customers and know how to be couteous...

My daughter is 4 and a half and has been swimming with David since she was 5 months old. David is an incredible teacher and he places an emphasis on guiding the parents to be a big part of developing their own child’s skills in the water. My daughter can’t wait to get to swimming every week, he makes it fun while teaching them the most invaluable of skills. David is not about singing nursery rhymes in the pool, he teaches water confidence and you can see amazing results from such a young age. I have recommended Breewswim to so many people – and couldn’t rate David highly enough. The kids love to be taught from him and he has a great nature with kids of all ages. I wouldn’t look past David and Breeswim to develop your precious little one’s confidence and skills in the pool.

Our two boys aged 2 and 5 have been taught by David for 3 years. When we joined BreeSwim we had a restless bored two old who, along with his father was frustrated at the routine sing song lessons on offer at most other schools. Progress in skill development had been non-existent for 9 months.

The first lesson with David saw our son (and his dad) re-engage with swimming lessons, he absolutely loved it. By Week 5 we had seen more progress in my son's swimming and engagement in lessons then we'd seen in the previous 9 months.

David doesn't just focus on teaching your child, but also coaches the parents on the techniques and reasons behind each activity and how to identify when the child is ready to move to the next step and what that is - meaning you can confidently practice at other times in a pool to build up your child's confidence and skills.

When our youngest was old enough he began lessons with David and his progress and enjoyment in the pool is amazing. David's style, technique and rapport with the kids means both our kids are excited to go swimming every week. Every lesson is tailored to build upon the current skill level of the children. He makes the lessons fun but at the same time is always challenging them by introducing new skills to learn - they are never bored and importantly they never get discouraged.

I can wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who is serious about ensuring their child gets the most out of water safety and swimming lessons.
Poor communication...I tried to tell daughters swim coach that daughter had hearing problems. I got told to go away....several months later discover that the coach has not even told the child when she is being timed for swimming group promotion hence she was effectively told to leave because she missed several weeks due to Christmas and me not being able to take her there as I was ill but they care not. Compulsory meets where no coaches turn up to provide feedback. No receipts for $++ taken every month. DONT BE FOOLED BY THESE PEOPLE
