We really enjoyed the meal great pub with a tons of space for sitting. The food portion was massive.
WARNING: This place can get very loud due to many people eating at a great steakhouse on the outskirts of Canberra.
I love their serving of steak which comes out on a hot stone. This stays HOT for quite some time. So you'll either have to eat this steak quickly if you want it rare or just savor and eat as it cooks away on the stone.
Their focaccias are freshly baked in their wood-fired ovens and recommend the cheese focaccias. It is one of the best breads and you have to try it.
There is a kids menu option as well while I opted for the kids selection of chicken nuggets and chips.

The bed was comfortable and the room clean but the join between the wall and the roof has cracks in numerous places, its in need of improviement. I was awoken at 3 am by a rackett cased by patrons milling outside the gaming area for some time, after waiting for it to qieten down I had to resort to calling management twice to have security resolve the noise problem.
Food was pricey for what it was but have never paid so much for a drink. $10 for a light beer. Is definitely not affordable. Paid $7 at another hotel Saturday
This was a big disappointment - very bland flavour and just incredibly oily. This was the first time in a long time we actually couldn't eat it, and when the wait staff asked how it was, there didn't seem to be much interest that we found it inedible.
There is also almost nothing for vegetarians - just a mushroom salad, a halloumi salad, or a margherita cheese pizza.
I would not want to go here again. However, the recent renovations are nice and I like the fireplace in the middle.
I'd consider going again only if there was a complete do-over of the menu with attention to quality ingredients.

We came for dinner this evening, we had mixed grill. It was really nice, service was excellent, staff were really professional. Especially Jack who had an excellent phone manner when we booked. He was extremely helpful and friendly.🙂
I could not believe the quality of the meals. They were 100% on presentation, and the flavours were great. Definitely will be back, but will fast before I go!
Came in to buy some stuff but needed to use a toilet first. Bloke was rude and refused me access so i went elsewhere to spend my money. Theres plenty of bottle shops around that actually offer services beyond standing behind the counter and being rude to customers.
Went out for tea last night 7th July, the food was excellent and plenty of it. The Staff could not be faulted they were courteous and obliging and the meals came out really quickly after we had all ordered. Thank you for the service it was my 82nd Birthday and two of my Grand Children's birthday, so very special. Myself and Family will most definately recommend the The Lonny for a good night out
The steak in this restaurant is really good. It's characterised! It's an old store. I've been here several times, and there are a lot of people every time. This time, my family came to play and have dinner together. In addition to steak, pizza and chips are also great, but the fish and potatoes taste average. You don't have to order this.
We have been coming here for years and have never had any issues. The new menu for this winter has had almost nothing for vegetarians to eat. A salad or a cheese pizza. When I asked the staff about this I was told that they needed to make cuts to the menu to stop food wastage. I suggested that they still needed to have vegetarian options and was told that there were not enough vegetarians to warrant them having any options. I would think remaining an inclusive restaurant would have been a consideration but unfortunately not.
Came for dinner tonight and could not complain. The meal was amazing. Fresh, crunchy and delicious.

Found the guy working to be super efficient. He even noticed we needed a take away container without asking, just bought to our table when collecting plates.

We recently moved from Sydney and this has become our local. We've had multiple amazing meals here! It's a beautiful pub with a gorgeous pavilion style eatery out the back that we love to sit in. Every time we've come the staff have been amazing, so friendly and always ensure the kids have a fun activity book to play with. The food is AMAZING! The serves are large for the price and always taste beautiful. Pictured a few of our favourite dishes. We can't go past the chicken caesar salad, southern fried chicken burger and of course beef schnitzel! We'll be back!

This is a helpful compact bottle shop that is located in a convenient and central location; this shop has decent range and variety given it's size. Attended this evening for some "supplies", and the staff member was friendly and helpful, and gave good product suggestions. and bought some of the local craft beer, along with some wine. Definitely support local if you're looking for some refreshments.

Clearly Sales Woman hates her job. Put my item on the counter and waited for 5 minutes until i was rudely served. Mind you she wasnt run off her feet. She mumbled something to me really had no idea what was said. Purchased my item and i literally had to reach across and get my item as she wouldnt hand it over. If you dont like retail move over and give the job to someone who needs and deserves. Customer service needs a major overhaul
The older lady working behind the counter at chirn park bws has absolutely no customer service whatsoever, she doesn’t say hello or thank you , she doesn’t even smile , looks so grumpy and scruffily dressed.. while serving me she didn’t say one word, then I said are you going to say Thankyou, she said what for,? I said because that’s what customer service is… how disgraceful I could not believe it!! So rude she should not be working with customers!! I’ve been going there for 10 years & the staff are usually great… she needs to go

Very rude staff. Sold expired beer bottles and refused to replace them within 15mins of purchase.

I have reviewed this hotel previously and I can only reiterate those past words. They used the lockdown period when the Covid 19 pandemic first hit Adelaide, in a most constructive way by renovating the dining and gaming rooms beautifully. They always have always employed very friendly and helpful staff and this is still the case.
I went two times in the evening during their open hours as per Google maps.. but I didn't get anything.. false advertisement.. waste of my precious time..

One of the staff members appears to be very rude - no greeting, no ‘ thank you’ , yawning as the customer is paying at the counter. Very disappointing. Don’t recommend to go there at all.
I regularly purchase my alcohol from this store on the weekends, however I simply must acknowledge that my experience has hugely improved since I came into contact with one of the employees BEN.

Bald man had terrible customer service skills. Gives the wrong item through drive through and when I corrected him he lied to my face so I had to get out the car and pick it up myself. Since going back had the same treatment and just let it go this time. Going somewhere else now. Cheeky man that one
The Team at the RB FC are awesome. Always helpful always friendly and I haven’t stopped returning (in a good way) since I discovered them on an out of town visit in 2018. The great service has been consistent as has the product variety and competitive pricing.
Disgusting customer service from the man at the bottle shop last night after wk. He had displayed pricing incorrectly & when I said he should honour the pricing like any other retail store, he told me I was trying to scam him a couple of dollars. I'm a professional and not appreciate being treated like an wino. Told my friends in the eastern suburbs about the experience & you can be sure, we won't ever enter venue again. May want to consider new employee???

I'm a bit confused about the other reviews. I have been in here a couple of times browsing then bought some ale last week. On every occasion the staff have always been nothing but kind and polite, especially the young woman (LK) who served me last week. Even though ale wasn't her thing (which is fine), she was so friendly, polite, and engaging, it was a real joy to meet her. Their prices are also significantly cheaper than other off-licenses in the area. Would highly recommend this shop; they carry a wide range of Australian ales too!

Disgusting customer service, some people shouldn’t be in customer service at all , was treated well by 2 employees and the guy at the counter who I’m guessing is the owner was shocking , they could clearly see I was disabled and couldn’t go out of there way to ask if I need a plastic bag I have 1 arm with no feeling at all from a severe injury which is wrapped up in bandages and a cast so they could clearly see I cannot use that arm, yet when I ask for a plastic bag

Bad customer service
Was forced to go there because my order via bws app failed me. Staff need to be re trained to deal with technical issues and how to communicate with customers. So disappointed, I am hesitant to use the app 4 delivery as I don't want to be charged $10 delivery fee when the process fails.
I have lost faith with bws, they were rude and unable to provide adequate service. I'm referring to the scarbrough street store in southport.

This store is good for drive thrus and quick runs. The store is also open till late which has been very helpful for the last minute partys
Staff attitude there is quite amiss , made selection went to counter to pay , handed cash to attendant who recoiled in horror , and snapped , don’t you have a card , in the future bring a card we don’t like cash here , my reply was simple , that’s fine , I’ll go elsewhere , cash was grabbed out of my hand , no , well take cash , we just don’t like to , so in fact there will not be a next time , it was purely convenient as it’s not far from home , in future it’s the park wood tavern , cheaper friendlier , and don’t look down on you for paying cash , the one star is for convenience

Last night had to run to this certain BWS to get some drinks for a Friday night delt with a very rude employee. He had decided to close 2 minutes early i asked him to open the door for I had sprinted for ages just to make it before 10:00PM, I was right at the door when he locked it and refused to open it while he should of had that door open for it was still working hours and it had not reached 10:00PM when I arrived. Very disappointed in why they would hire lazy, rude people and i will not be a customer at this store again.
