I don’t know where to start! Few months ago we went there and I order from the buffet and my wife from tastes of Asian! She was so disappointed with it that I had to share my food with her. She had soup with noddles, nothing else, no veggies, no meat!
Yesterday I decided to go there and give another try, we order 2 pad Thai and it was just the worst of our whole life! No flavour, meat with chunks of fat. Definitely I don’t recommend no one to go there!

The other places in the RSL are great, but this one is best avoided. “Crispy Peking duck” aka some sort of monstrous duck schnitzel. Pork buns served with dark soy sauce as dipping sauce?? But it was too dry to scoff down without the sauce, sticking to every piece of moisture in your mouth on the way down, as if to say “don’t swallow me”. Food covered in syrupy sweet and sour sauce to disguise the fact that at 2am I was to be woken with stomach cramps and several trips to the loo. No, I probably wouldn’t go back.
Food was bland and overall unappealing, those dining at the RSL can find far better food at the other restaurants. It's called Tastes of Asia.. but it's not the good tastes of Asia it seems!
Very bad attitude of the Chef there. It was my first time at the restaurant that I arrived at 11:30 am and I didn't know they started to serve only at noon. They gave me a face like I killed their parents. I was told by the Chef to learn to talk nicely next time. All I said was, Hi, what time are you guys starting to serve food? I’d give a 0 rating if I could. 1 star is Just because I wanted to speak out.
Over from Sydney during the easter break with our Ridgie Didge and popped in for dinner as it's dog friendly. Bonus!
We had the fixed menu which gave us a selection of dishes to try. The service was quick and all the dishes were very tasty.
The service from Ruby and the other staff was excellent from the moment we arrived until it was time to head back to our hotel. Thanks for looking after us Ruby! Staff can make or break a business and you have a real gem (pun intended) there.

A delicious meal at Lazy Su.
We had the Jalapeño Noodle Popper, Wagyu Cheesesteak Springroll, Don Buri Tacos, Salmon & Kingfish Sashimi, Char Siu Pork Bao, Chinese Broccoli and Japanese Roast Chicken and ALL were delicious. Our drinks - The Matcha Colada and Mandarin Margherita were also very good.
Quality service with helpful staff, my favourite table water service (leaving a jug on the table) and a great ambience made the experience enjoyable.
I'd definitely recommend Lazy Su for a dinner out.

Amazing place. I loved the ambience - the waving 👋 cats , disco ball and posters on the walls.
The food was excellent - the dishes are mouthwatering and the taste is very good. Mu favourite was seafood 🦞 stir-fry and Gyoza 🥟. Highly recommend to try them.

Great experience here for work lunch. Ordered a wide spread of dishes, most of which were really good. Service was friendly and warm. Recommended.
Don’t bother here. Dine at Blue Ocean Seafood restaurant instead (better service and food), it’s just a few metres down. Extremely disappointed with the service at Golden Pavillion (what used to be our regular Chinese restaurant). Staff took our order at 8.50pm and stated the kitchen closed at 9.15pm. They were happy to take our order for 5 people for take away. It was agreed we would come in at 9.30pm for pick up. I turn up as agreed and all the doors were closed and lights were off. They didn’t even have the decency to pick up my phone calls! Incredibly rude of them to take our order in the first place. Just admit you can’t stay open til 10pm. They’ve instead lost 5 customers.
Edit: yes please, show me the CCTV footage because you are clearly lying. Why weren’t you picking up the calls then? I don’t understand why you would need to lie. As I said, we used to love eating here but the service we encountered is just appalling! 🤣 also why would we need to lie about this? If you had contacted us in the first place and said that you couldn’t commit to the order, this review would never have been here. Simple as that 🤷🏻♀️

Fantastic service, the guy in the grey suit was an awesome server. Food was delicious and there was plenty of it with the "Feed me Please" for 5 people. Even got a Soju bomb for my birthday which was a really cool! Atmosphere is busy but very vibrant, will definitely be back!!

We ordered 3 dishes: stir fry vege, Kung Pao chicken and Fried wafer paper mince seafood and tofu. The fried wafer tofu is their speciality, using mince seafood and tofu, wrapped in a thin layer of spring roll skin and deep fried until crispy.

A hidden gem that ticks all the boxes. Highly recommended. My favourite dessert is fried ice cream, and they take on it is delicious. Great place to up with family and friends, that is quiet, kid friendly, and close to public transport. Give them a go, and you will not be disappointed.

Great little find. This place was packed but the service and food were equally amazing. The waiters were genuinely friendly and helpful with explaining their menu. Pork belly is a must. Set meals are of great value. We had set menu C which was pork belly, marinated pork belly and marinated beef which was perfect for two people.
One of my favourite eats in the entirety of Adelaide. We tried this place on a whim and the high rating is truly justified. Service was fantastic, the staff were very friendly but also everything we needed to know was explained to us before we even had to ask. You can order from your table via QR so it’s much more convenient, but also very quick (even with every table full). The atmosphere was lovely, such a great vibe. Drinks were delicious. And of course the food was absolutely amazing, good value too. Best kimchi I’ve ever had, I couldn’t stop eating it - and it was free! Very, very happy with our choice to go here and we will definitely be back.

The only slight negatives were:
1. The music was way too loud, was really hard to have a conversation without shouting at each other 😂
2. No Wagu Beef options on the menu, All Korean BBQ joints normally have Wagu Beef 😸😭
3. Hard to get a park close by, especially at night time, streets aren't well lit, and plenty of shift characters lurking around in the dark

Great place! Had an amazing time with friends. The staff were very nice and helpful for us inexperienced guests. Food was really good and flavourful too!
it's my first time coming to korean barbecue. The place is like a secret place. inside the garage in a side street. The welcome and the attention of the staff are very good. The appetizers come free of charge. Those who love hot and salt are very welcome. We have created our own menu instead of the set menu, each dish is enough for 2 people to share.
Great first time experience. They ask you if you’ve ever been before and generally want to assist with your dining experience. Recommend booking as it looks like it fills up quite quickly.
I think the only thing that could improve is the lettuce portions given in the set, no worries as you can order more for $3.00 however.

Excellent vegetarian banquet for the big party. We have a group of ninety people on this Thursday. Ten dishes including dessert. The Vegetarian pear pie is amazing 🤩
Food was good (laksa and noodle soup) but not spicy authentic, probably to please the oldies in attendance. They did have side spices to add and the laksa definitely required it - service was a little abrupt and lost opportunity for additional sale in the ordering process. A suburban Chinese restaurant that has a yum cha menu. The decor has elements of traditional Chinese restaurants overseas, and the management have a Cantonese background. Not many Chinese restaurants in the area have yum cha, so it's good to see something different. The yum cha and tea selection menu is limited, and a bit of the menu is catered for those who prefer fried items. However some of the stir fried dishes and steam dumplings were good. Recommend the XO stir fry rice noodles (Cheung fun) and the prawn dumplings. A good local option 👍
1st time trying Yum Cha here and the food was delicious fresh and so much flavour. Customer service was excellent the staff were more than happy to help and very friendly. It was also Chinese new year the year of the rabbit. The staff gave out gifts to customers which I thought was lovely. If you haven’t tried golden pavilions yum cha I highly recommend giving it a go. I will definitely be returning 🧧
$73 for the worst Chinese food on the Northern Beaches that was an absolute horrible meal their Squid was disgusting my father makes better Chinese food!
The restaurant is open under new management has has very artistic traditional Chinese interior design which you can't find elsewhere in Sydney. The food is awesome and there is lots of varieties. Staff and chefs are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended for dine-in or takeway. I will bring family back again.
Yum Cha is great. Fresh Dim Sims, many choices, decent price with excellent service and atmosphere. I saw people use the price of food court quality to compare with the quality of this restaurant is not decent at all. How much you paid and how much you got. My family and I found it is worth to eat in this restaurant.
Paid $21 for the pad Thai which is expensive and expect a plate of quality noodle. It turn up as the worst pad Thai ever had in the country!
The noodle is hard as steel, so dry and tasteless, will not recommend the food from this chef, I hope that the management look seriously to the food quality in the club, it was very disappointing!
