Had an amazing day at the park. All the animals are well cared for and the staff are happy to share their knowledge if asked.
Molly's farm is well worth a visit. Seeing a sheep sheared with explanations of how and why was great.
We were able to walk among the wallabies and kangaroos. Was good to see they had an area they could go to away from public interaction should they wish.

Had a great day, plenty to see and do. Plenty of walking 🚶, variety of food options. Great viewing spots for all the different animals. Will continue to do more of the animal encounters. This time was the Giraffe 🦒 snap shot 😀
Great zoo, easy to park and off main highway. No trouble getting tickets. If going more than once in a year buy the annual pass.
Saturday was busy to get in but the park felt spacious and easy to walk around.
Weather was showers but with umbrella the animals were more active than I would otherwise have thought.
Great indoor reptile and shark/ aquarium enclosures. Closer views of koala than Taronga zoo. Overall great experience

Seen a lot of negative reviews about this place and I really don’t understand them. This place is the greatest zoo I have ever visited. It is huge and there is so much room for the animals to enjoy themselves whilst being protected from an unsafe environment. The keepers take really great care of each animal here and that is what matters! A lot of people have complained about how Steve’s legacy is being impacted negatively but I think the Irwin’s have done a fantastic job of continuing Steve’s mission. A lot of people don’t understand that the money we spend at the zoo goes towards protecting wildlife, and the negative reviews show that. It is better to think about what the Irwin’s are doing and how the zoo works to protect animals rather than thinking about the negatives. Purchasing tickets beforehand is a great idea to save the wait and for transport, a bus service is a great inexpensive way for again save time. The croc show was awesome and it was nice to be able to sit with the kangaroos and feed them. Again, this place is fantastic for education and is a wonderful place to visit.
The kids love the Zoo 😊 such wonderful family experience. I highly suggest a great day out at Australia Zoo on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

We LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT! A truly amazing Wildlife Park. All animal lovers and children will enjoy it. You can pat and feed kangaroos, go to a farm show, take a picture with wombat and koala, and touch some other animals like lizards and python. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s better to come by car because the place is not very reachable via public transportation.
Nice Zoo with all visable animals. The best parts are reptiles and aquarium. Taking photo with Koalas is joyful as you can get very close to them. The homelands of the animals have perfectly designed and they seem happy. The interesting part is Africa land with all giraffes, zebras, ostriches and rhinos together. Different Cafe and restaurant are available in different spots, drinkable water is acceptable every where and it was amazing that fans with moist could cool down people in higher temperatures. Toilets were clean and restaurants foods are good. We enjoyed a lot
I’ve visited this zoo 3 times now and it has been great to watch them grow. Overall in would argue this zoo delivers when it comes to a modern approach of looking after wild animals. Sitting and watching the meerkats, penguins and the emus in their respective enclosures are genuine highlights. When the weather is perfect it really is a wonderful experience. Though there’s a noticeable absence of shady area to sit on very hot days - of which there are numerous. I’ve never eaten here because we always pack a lunch (go team) so I can’t comment on the food / facilities.
Definitely worth a visit whether you’re a local or if you just really love zoos. Say hi to the Red Panda for me.

It's a Koala park, and yet only 4 to 5 Koalas are there to see. Tickets are $32.00 per Adult. Used to have more kangaroos thay we can go and feed. But now they have less than 8. Not too sure it's worth. Staff are friendly.
Good diversity of wildlife across Australia represented here, well organised and plenty of tree cover. You can take photos with wombats and koalas which is great for kids and tourists. Would've been nice if some animals e.g. the camel could be within arms reach like the other farm animals
Super wonderful place to interact with lovely koala, kangaroo, wallaby, wombat, kookaburra and many farm animals. It is recommended to plan a one-day trip in the park to ensure sufficient time for all the activities. The only thing is that the place is away from downtown perth, and it would be much more convenient to take a taxi/didi or to drive there.

This is a lovely quiet place where you can see a range of mainly Australian animals. It's not crowded or Hustle and bustle which is part of the reason I like it it's been in institution for a very long time and it's a very nice thing to support it. Great for small kids is there are a number of places where you can interact directly with the animals such as feeding the kangaroos, with pellets you can buy on entry.
Medium sized zoo with a great reptile display and large variety of animals for its size. Took about 2 hours to leisurely explore the zoo. Went during Summer with the free Ferris wheel rides - was very worth the time. Super hot, but there were mist sprayers everywhere. Most Animals in the zoo were able to be spotted. The boulevard eatery is a nice place to eat and rest, but no air con. Most clean and good amenities around the zoo.
Was a great day trip with the family to Sydney Zoo. The zoos layout made it easy to navigate and traverse. The exhibits were all well kept, and the animals all looked in good health.
The cafeteria did leave the food choices a bit lacking with the hot dog rolls that once cooled down turned solid. The chips and drinks were nice, though baring that it was a fun time to spend walking around with the family seeing all the animals that inhabit the bus lands around our homes!

A world-class, outstanding, modern zoo. The design is fantastic and specifically achieves getting people as close to the animals as safely as possible. They offer extensive up close and personal animal interaction options. And, they have all the major animals from around the world. Truly one of the best zoos in the world. Do not miss it if you get the chance!
One of the most beautiful zoos that I have come. It is very nice that a lot of different animals have their home in here. The staff is very friendly and supportive with tourists and animals living in here as well. They have many species such as tiger, koala, kangaroo, and so on. It is not very far from the city of Sydney, that you can enjoy the wild life of those lovely species that live in here. Highly recommend to come here and enjoy!!!!
This felt like a work in progress. It is a lovely setting among the bush, and within the park it feels pretty "natural". But, not many animals to see, and large parts were "coming soon" or "under construction". It has great potential though.
It was quite inspiring to learn about the life and work of Dr. David Fleay. The park itself is a lovely place. However, it is not that well maintained, perhaps due to lack of funding.

It was my first time seeing koalas and kangaroos, and it was super worth it!!! I absolutely loved everything about the park, including the reptiles. I would and will recommend it to everyone who wants to have a good time with the family (oh, remember to bring food to do a picnic).
A great family day! So many animals to see, interesting keeper talks, the Wildlife Warriors crocodile show is great, jumping pillow for the kids to have a break, lots of seats and shady spots for a sunny day, and more. Bring swimmers for the kids, and some frozen water bottles for a hot day. Highly recommended.

This zoo is exceptional, we were in awe from our first animal viewing of the Giraffes. Then it kept getting better. We were fortunate to watch the Tiger show, Otter show and the Crocodile show. These shows weren't animals being trained and doing tricks, it was to see how they behave in their natural habitat. We were so relieved, and watched on in wonderment.
Crikey Cafe was better than what I read in reviews. The salad wrap, cheeseburger and coffees were all good and reasonably priced.
Our best part was watching Robert Irwin and Nero show us what "not to do with crocodiles". It was so great to watch them with Charlie the Croc, and the love they have for them. Definitely gave me an appreciation for crocodiles 🐊
A big plus was finding the Irwin Turtle in his huge habitat. He's so cute and tiny😍
This zoo is ethical, with large habitats for all the animals, plus time away from public viewing to prevent them becoming stressed. You can truly see that all the animals are healthy, happy and loved. A zoo not to be missed.

Wow! What an amazing zoo! Presented so beautifully! Amazing gardens, clean walkways and the animals are very cared for. Enjoyed every moment at this wonderful place! You can feel the love in this zoo and it was a joy to visit. The staff were very friendly and we had a wonderful day out! Africa is mind blowingly beautiful so very impressed!

Super love this place! The staff is nice, friendly, relentless explaining the animals details with many smiles on their faces. The park really maintained it in a good wild life way and people get to see the animal with close up without glasses, it's a very good experience for watching the animal. I have visited here twice and I enjoy visiting the animals especially the Kangaroos and birds, You have a great selection of creatures.
However I was disappointed when I entered the gift shop and saw Hats made from Kangaroo Leather, Don't understand why a Wildlife Conservation park is selling Unethical products made from Australia's own Native Fauna and therefore contributing to the largest Kill of land-based Wildlife in the world.
I otherwise had a lovely time and would be happy to visit again and recommend to fellow animal-lovers once this place phases out Kangaroo products.

There are no words to describe this place. It was so much more than we expected. Amazing staff from when we entered until we left. The shows were so good and enjoyable. The facilities were all clean and extremely well maintained. The animals looked so good, and nothing was out of place. Well done !!
We had a wonderful day out at Caversham Wildlife Park. We absolutely loved being able to get up close to the Kangaroos, Wallaby, Koala and Wombat and seeing all of the other animals.
It’s a great day out and the staff were all really friendly too.

It's a lot quieter on a weekday. It rained heavily when we went and they still were able to put on their 1pm bird/reptile showing which was lovely.
What an absolute treat! The animals are evidently, incredibly happy, heaps of room for them, clean pens, enriched environments for each animal. A wide variety of animals to see. No ridiculous crowds and queues and lots and lots of shaded areas. Really amazing conservation. Barely recognisable from the original big pineapple facilities. I highly recommend going here, I think this will be our go to zoo on the coast from here out as it was just awesome! A big thumbs up all around.
Love the park. Enjoyed having kangaroos and wallabies jumping around freely and this long beaked white birds flying around. Routes were well marked with places to sit down.
Great place. You can find gorillas, giraffes, Kangaroos, Tiger, 🦁, Elephants. They are preserving a lot of soon to be extinct species. This is the 1st carbon neutral zoo in the entire world. Well maintained and observed regularly by volunteers, workers. They are taking good care of the animals inside. The gorilla 🦍 rainforest was really very amazing then comes the kangaroo island. And yea the sea penguins 🐧 were also nice.

ich war hier vor einiger Zeit, als ich eine kleine Tour durch die Adelaide Hills gemacht habe. Da bin ich hier in diesem Wildlife Park zu Gast gewesen.
Gleich neben dem Rocking Horse gelegen, ist dieser kleine Streichelzoo ein netter Ort zum verweilen. Für nur ein paar Dollar kann man viele Tiere sehen, Roo's, Koalas, Ecidnas, Wombats, Emu's und andere Tiere. Allerdings sollte man zur richtigen Zeit da sein. Es gibt Ruhezeiten und wenn es sehr heiß ist, bekommt man auch kaum Tiere zu Gesicht. Viele der Tiere kann man füttern mit vorab gekauftem Futter. Und wenn man Geduld hat, kann man auch hier und da ein Tier streicheln.
Es war sehr nett hier. Und nebenan am Rocking Horse kann man noch im Souveniershop etwas kaufen und nebenan noch was trinken oder eine Kleinigkeit essen.

A fun afternoon! The mini rail was very entertaining. This place is great for a family day out. The Cafe has a great kale burger that is a must try 😋 👌
Great variety of Australian animals and opportunities to interact! Overall, nice place with extremely helpful staff. Bit difficult to get to if you don’t have a car and there are limited parking spaces.
I had a fantastic time at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. The variety of wildlife and activities for kids was outstanding. I even enjoyed the small train that toured the area. As a parent, I cherished every moment with my kids, and time just flew by I strongly recommend a visit.

Didn’t see any wombats though (my fav) maybe because it was really hot when I went and a lot of the animals were hiding in the shade. There was a bird who spread his wings for us when we approached which was so cute !! It also wasn’t very crowded even though we went on a Saturday afternoon. The place is big enough that you can go explore on your own without people trailing after you. Lots of very interesting birds and friendly animals some of which aren’t even enclosed so you can get very close to them and pet them.
However, there was an older woman who was hounding us in the gift shop when we went to go look at things before we entered the wildlife park. She kept saying we can’t enter the park through the gift shop even though we weren’t and didn’t even know it was connected. We just wanted to look at some merch to see if we should buy anything before we entered. But she kept saying the same things when we were just looking so we just left because she made things very uncomfortable and just went back to look after we finished exploring the park. Definitely not complaining about her but she could have been friendlier and more understanding of the younger generation.
Still 5 stars though because the animals were so cute and seemed to be treated very well there 🤍.

I really like this place! Great variety of birds and Australian animals. Perfect for overseas visitors wanting to experience Australian animals. Avoid weekends and school holidays of you can they get busy. Today I went at 11am on a Wednesday and there wasn't many people there at all.

At first, I thought AU$46 (adult) was a little bit pricy, but it was so worth it. I had a great time here to watch various animals and was very glad to see their good living environment compared to other zoos. They had 'Koala talk' at 11AM, and I was happy to be there.
Hadn't visited the Koala Park for at least 40+ years. It's a great wildlife sanctuary surrounded by suburbia, but you wouldn't know it. The wildlife exhibits were interesting and relatively well maintained - staff and volunteer staff look after this place. Areas under maintenance and upgrading but didn't detract from the experience. Great for families, kids and international visitors alike.
Such a cool little out of the way place. Not as full on as Currumbin or Loan Pine, significantly cheaper too. Really nice spot, lots of shady trees and awesome staff.
My girls wanted to meet the capybaras close up so we booked the encounter. It was amazing. Well worth the cost going towards such a fabulous zoo with caring and highly educated animal keepers and great habitats for the animals. Definitely recommend the experience. Great to get kids off the screens and back to nature (even though they became obsessed with capybaras via social media 😊)

Great zoo to visit with the kids. Pram and wheelchair friendly. Just wish all the cafes and kicks would stay open longer throughout the zoo. Only the main one remains open the longest.
A hidden gem, smack bang in the middle of the Southern Gold Coast. A tranquil slice of heaven from the moment you arrive. The park is maintained impeccably and the layout invites you to meander around the whole day. The animals are well cared for and the site boasts a very busy wildlife hospital. There's several shows and activities each day to cater for the entire family. A trip on the custom park train is a must, especially if you have little ones. A definite destination to include when you visit the Gold Coast.
Ace day during the school holidays visiting the animals at Caversham Wildlife Park. Plenty to see and the farm animals are great to interact with and getting up close with a wombat and olive python were highlights for us.
A different experience to other parks and we really enjoyed it. There's a giftshop, toilets, plenty of signs and shaded areas with seats. Appears to be wheelchair friendly throughout.

We love the zoo , arrived at 10ish and didn’t wait long to enter into the zoo. The gardens are very beautiful, abs even though it was school holidays we found we didn’t need to wait very long to get through different enclosures . We particularly enjoyed the giraffes and the butterfly house .
We went to Sydney Zoo today - Wednesday 27th September 2023. It was pleasantly warm - around 32°C by 12pm.
The maps - when given - were a great help in navigating the zoo.
The Broadwalk was great as you could see the animals so much easier when looking down into the enclosures.
It was, however, very crowded (probably due to it being holiday time for NSW schools) and areas such as The Nocturnal House were particularly noisy. Most Nocturnal Houses have quiet signs around and that is usually adhered to - within reason - by the visitors.
The mist sprays at the various stops around the zoo were really welcome. Those stops had shelter from the sun.
There were quite a few food areas. The food was way overpriced. The menu at the smaller food areas was limited and they didn't have quick walk along food. The menu had full meals only.
It is not comparable to either of the Taronga Zoos. Both Taronga and Western Plains have a variety of travel modes to assist with the movement of people to different areas of the zoo e.g. Taronga has the sky lift to get people from the top end to the bottom end or vice versa. Western Plains has carts and bikes for hire as well as being able to drive your own car or take your own bike to get around the zoo.

Loved our visit! Staff were all nice and we enjoyed learning about the animals. Got to pat the koalas 🐨, feed kangaroos 🦘, and hold a baby croc 🐊! If you want to get close and learn about Australian native wildlife I highly recommend.
Would recommend if you want the encounters to buy tickets in advance.
Also, this is great stop on the way to blue mountains if you’re heading that direction to check off tourist attractions.

fantastic zoo in Melbourne and definitely something I would go back again and again, especially with the zoo membership kids get in for free during the school holidays in Melbourne and on the weekend with the adults. we had a great time.
Very good park. Worths the price and the time if you want to see koalas and Kangaroos and some wild life. Buy a foodbag at the entrance and enjoy feeding the kangaroos. You can stay with them and touch them. It is an amazing experience. We went by bus and I recommend it. One morning or one afternoon is enough to visit the park. There are three shows during the day, repeated in the morning and in the afternoon. One of these with koalas.

Koala here was the most active and adorable compared to Queensland and Victoria. AUD25 was the fee to get a closeshot photo by zookeeper. Besides 2 printed copies, we were also able to download 15 digital copies of different shots taken. Highly recommended

Fantastic zoo! Went here on a Tuesday and there was a fair bit of a crowd, but there was no wait to enter at all. Bought tickets on-site, staff were friendly and welcoming. Large variety of animals that look well cared for. Only issue was that some animals were moved to different enclosures, so we could not see them. However, we had to amazing opportunity to see the wombat while it was awake, so that made up for everything. Food at the cafes were filling and tasted great, would recommend for families and animal enthusiasts to come here 👍
Super enjoyable and easy going day out. My husband and I wanted something restful to do while around the area and a long stroll around while observing the cutest of animals was just what we needed.
This place is great! I totally recommend visiting here on your own or as a family. Me and my family came here quite a few times when we lived in Australia and it is such a lovely welcoming place. The staff are brilliant and so kind and talkative which really adds to the whole experience. My favourite part is the bird feeding where you can feed the wild birds and they are so tame considering they are wild because of all the love they receive here and food of course 😂. The kangaroo encounter is also lovely as they are very calm and comfortable around people and have a nice large environment to live in. This whole zoo is beautiful and so worth visiting :)

Amazing experience in a gorgeous animal paradise. The koala breakfast was the crown jewel, and I highly recommend it. We got to pet koalas multiple times, take great photos and learn a lot about them, the food was delicious, and you also get early park access so you can go see other animals before anyone else enters the park. The echidna encounter was a fluke and I would not recommend it. Friend the kangaroos and petting them was a treat that will last us a lifetime. The red panda was the most beautiful creature I’ve seen. And the lemurs were hilarious, tanning around in the most intriguing poses. The one bad/terrible thing that must to be changed is the diesel train. Not only does it pollute the environment for us humans and the animals they’re trying to rescue, but it just smells terrible and made us sick. And one thing that should be improved are the bathrooms.
Very good day out for all ages. Good talks by the keepers and very informative. Lots of different animals to see and a great attraction for the Sunshine Coast. Well worth a visit.
Well looked after but unfortunately some of the exhibits where under reconstruction so there where no kangaroos and only 1 kola. Plenty of birds and ducks. The nocturnal animals are always good to see they where very active. Staff are very friendly
Great experience, kids loved it. Everything comes off a main street so it's easy to navigate. Mornings are better so the cats are slightly more active. There is a clever orangutan who sits with a blanket on him. Cafes are decent.

personal bird show due to the smaller size. You can tell the rangers really care for the animals. Great experience for the price. Can’t wait for the park to become abit more developed.

What a wonderful place! Staffs are friendly, park is very well maintained. All the animals looks really happy and well fed. 😄 Weather was perfect in June too. We had an absolutely great time here. Prepare some light snacks for your kids and take the tram! Highly recommended to visit the in house animal hospital. When we were there, they were treating a koala and visitors can view from the outside transparent glass panels.

A nice day out. I spent two hours there in total. The queue to buy tickets moved fast. Nice to see all aussie animals. Staff were lovely and friendly. Toilets clean. Good coffee in the reception area. Felt it was expensive for what it was. It's quite small.

I was thrilled to get up close and personal with kangaroos, koalas, and even some adorable wallabies. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. Very friendly staff and well laid out with a tremendous amount to see. It's a great day out for old and young, with plenty of toilets and places to eat and drink. I visited out of season and on a weekday (Monday, July), so it was busy, but far from crowded).

Great place for young kids with beautifully kept enclosures and such a great range of animals for a smaller zoo! So much space and seat to sit down and have a snack. My 2 year old had the time of her life. 10/10
This wildlife park is a good size for spending a few hours. You can see it all in around 2 hours.
However, if you wish to make a day of it there are plenty of seats spread throughout the park where you can sit and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere there.

We visited on a Monday so it wasn't crowded; although the drawback was that there were less food stalls open. Overall the zoo was extremely lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The zoo itself was also gorgeous and clean. Favorites were the lemurs and butterfly exhibits!
It's better to book your ticket online for a 10aud off and quick entry. It has convenient free parking. The Zoo is well managed and equipped. Easy trail flow. Heaps of rest areas and cafes around with plenty of great food to choose from. There are also rides for kids to enjoy. We had fun seeing all the lovely animals and long walks in the zoo. Staff are so nice and friendly. I highly recommend visiting this zoo.
It's a very good place for your children to get connected with wildlife. $2 entry and $2 food for animals per pouch. You will have a good opportunity to feed animals and take stunning photos. Only 37 km away from Adelaide CBD. Big Rocking Horse at the same place. Few nice restaurants to eat and hang around. There is public toilet available as well. Very good place with kids on holidays at least for half a day.
Easy online ticket purchase, very reasonable prices and booking times. Free convenient parking. We enjoyed the layout of the trail. The best day to visit is a sunny day during winter as most of the animals are outside. The zoo is well equipped to manage massive crowds. Less bustling on weekdays. Great logical flow through the exhibits. Plenty of rest areas and washrooms throughout. Completely pram accessible and easy to navigate. Food carts were also positioned well. The cafe has great food choices, something for everyone. Great visibility of the animals without feeling too intrusive. Animals seem to be well taken care of. Animals were active so we got to see nearly all the different species. Staff were fantastic and the info talks were great. Little one really enjoyed the animals and it’s a nice long walk in the zoo. Took the wife and kids to this zoo. Great experience. Easy online ticket purchase. Reasonable prices. Enjoyed the simple layout. Animals seem to be well taken care of. 🐒🦍🦁🐘🦛🦘WOW! Melbourne zoo was amazing - cannot recommend this enough for adults and kids alike. You will definitely need a whole day here - there is so much to see and do and I highly recommend seeing any of the zoo keeper demonstrations. Only thing that I didn’t like were the prices at the cafe but if you bring your own food you can avoid it! Recommmend buying a membership as we have and can’t wait to come back again!
As a local I found it quite disappointing. Park itself is nice and the staff friendly, but the animal content leaves a lot to be desired. We saw one dingo, one emu, one koala, one platypus, and felt sorry for the animals. Hopefully they all had companions who weren't there at the time.
Would probably be good for tourists who don't have a lot of time and want to see some native animals in a flying visit, but if you have more time I'd recommend looking at other options.

Loved it. Great for people who are keen to learn about different types of animals, especially the Native animals of Australia. Kids loved it too. Awesome day out.

Great day out for the kids! Purchased tickets online to save some money. We went for the dinosaur safari, and the kids loved it! The dinosaurs were spread all over the zoo, so it kept the kids entertained the whole zoo visit. Some of the dinosaurs moved (which was pretty cool!) It took us about 3 hrs to see all the animals, and that included having a quick lunch. We went in at 9 am and there weren't too many people around. Highly recommend visiting during the Dinosaur Safari! We also went on the Ferris wheel ($8/person/ride, kids under 3 free). The kids loved it! Great view of the zoo.

The enclosures are absolutely amazing - the way they've incorporated existing flora into the spaces is just stunning. Very affordable, good parking and excellent amenities. We didn't eat at the Cafe but took a picnic lunch and ate with the lemurs!
I have visited before years ago and it was great. Today their google listing said open till 5pm. Arrive at 3:17pm to be told rudely they aren’t letting anyone else in past 3:15pm. To which I said we can be in and our quickly as it’s 2 minutes past 3:15pm. We are visiting from QLD and had drove over an hour to get there. I was abruptly told a firm no.

Good lil photo ops but there are better wildlife parks in S.A. the benefit to this one is the rocking horse and cheap entry.
As a non-Australian, I really enjoyed my visit to this park. Right from the outset you are greeted by small kangaroo which you can feed for $3. They are adorable and the experience is a lot of fun for children and adults alike. Besides that you get introduced you all of Australia's famous fauna such as wombat, tasmanian devil, emu and more. There's also a great reptile section with a collection of Australia's unique lizards and snakes. Overall great experience as a tourist and would definitely recommend.
