Changed from paying people cash for games and consoles to only doing in-store credit. Explains why the inventory has been lacking.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! They offer bottomless fountain drinks, and the individual working out front was very perceptive and kept me well hydrated. They also noticed that I use ASL and responded to me signing thank you with a signed "welcome", which is a small but very meaningful gesture.

The cafe was also clean (including the bathroom) and had a wide game selection, both for playing and for purchase.

Overall a very disability- and queer-friendly atmosphere 💫

came here back in September whilst on vacation with my brother and when I brought my old GameCube collection with some PS2 games. I was given the best deal of in store credit I had ever recieved in my life, and it was all thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful staff of Game Quest and my time at the store was nothing short of welcoming and great. and another gracious thanks goes to the owner/manager and staff who are extremely helpful and well versed in the same things that us gamers are passionate about. looking forward to my second trip back this month! thanks Game Quest 10/10

Friendly staff, huge variety of video games and card games and lots of events to keep you entertained until the end of time!
This was the worst place and service I have ever experience in my life. Your staff were very mean, loud and condescending. Why are you guys forcing customers to pay a mandatory 18% tip for 8 or more people on games if we’re not ordering food? Tips are given by generosity based on the services that was provided. If u give us bad service, we should still give u 18% of our money? What a joke lol. Y’all need to rehire new staff because those ones are not in the right (customer service) industry. The Asian guy had very sluggish attitude as if he doesn’t want to be there. The white tall guy was condescending and rude about a stupid chair and the White short manager was so loud, class-less and obnoxious as if he was trying to embarrass us in front of others. NEVER recommending to anyone and never going again
Went out on Saturday evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. Called ahead to ensure they would be able to seat about 8 to 10 people. They said it's no problem and that they will push two tables together. Got there and they gave us seating that could barely seat 6. Server seemed very down and unexcited to be there. He explained the rules and the cost in the most monotoned voice, gave us two thumbs up and walked away before we could say anything.
We pulled up two chairs extra to seat our extra friends and squeezed them in. After about 15 minutes in, a tall guy came up to us, and told us we couldn't sit there because he needs more room in the hallway and you know what, it's fine because I get it but he said it in the most condescending tone he could, I didn't even know if he actually works there. (No one was wearing name tags) 3 of our friends left to go stand in the front because where else were they going to sit? (So far we're at 9 people). Then Monotone Guy came back and informed us that there will be a mondatory 18% tip added to the food for groups 8 or more so I told him, there are only 6 people because 3 people cannot be seated. And that, we aren't even going to order food anyways because our friends won't be able to eat with us. He said, well the Mandatory tip will be applied to the $4.50/person for the game then. I told him, I am not tipping on it and I shouldn't be forced especially since service is very lackluster. Right away he was like "I'll get the manager" and instead of this "Manager" coming over to de-escalate the issues, he came over and very LOUDLY announced that we have tip the Mandatory 18% for groups regardless and speaking so loudly as if he was trying to embarrassed us into agreeing to it. This tipping culture is really getting out of hand. If you give people good service, your customers will happily part with their money. If you have to Mandatory charge your patrons gratuity/tip then maybe there's something internal happening that should be address, maybe take a customer service class and train better employees. I cannot recalled the last time I've visited a place in the hospitality industry and had such a horrendous service and I didn't appreciate the drive down memory lane. Safe to say, I will not be back and I will not be recommending people to visit your establishment. We were excited and willing to spend money here and you absolutely ruined someone's birthday where she would always remember "that time when she had bad customer service on her birthday" so if you guys were hoping to be remembered as the worst board game place to visit in Edmonton, you have succeeded the title in 10 people's mind.

3 Goblins is a great little game store located in downtown Prince George, reasonable pricing and a good stock of board games, MTG cards, Warhammer and more. There is also a nice space to compete with your friends. Mark and the team are great as well 👌

Great selection of cards, very fast response time to messages and inquiries, store music selection 10/10, store is very clean and welcoming, and also very fancy with the marble flooring. A nice little hidden gem!
Never been to a board game cafe that charged by the hour before!! A little bit much! Plus they are pretty insistent about ordering something off the menu. The server was actually a little rude about it. We hadn't planned to go here and just came from dinner, also don't drink alcohol. Not really interested in paying $4.50 for a 355ml Perrier. We had walked a few blocks to get here so we stayed for one short game and then left since we didn't feel welcome. I won't be going back.

I always have a fantastic experience at Table Top. I first visited a few months ago, and since then have been going regularly every few weeks. It is always clean and the games are well-maintained. The space also feels really inclusive, from gender neutral restrooms to the extremely kind and accommodating staff. They feel like a board game space first and cafe second, but the food and drinks are tasty and comforting—big fan of the nachos! Prices are also so reasonable so it's easy to spend a day here. I do sometimes find it a bit cold in the space, so I like to bring a big scarf/small blanket.

Reservations aren't necessary, but I would recommend calling them if you want to ensure a spot as they can fill up quickly! Big thanks to the staff, we love spending time there 🤗

Went there the other day w my two young kids to get them a Pokemon booster and to look at mtg. They were out of boosters but let them look thru the binders and pick out some singles. They gifted them little baggies w pokemon goodies and it absolutely made their day. Very chill and kind staff. Mucho thanks!

We go there from time to time for nachos and lemonade. This last time however, they informed us they now charge a $10 playing fee for each person, just for being there and purchasing their food. The place was half empty! I told them we don't use any of their games but that didn't matter. Adding an additional $20 onto nacho's and lemonade becomes a very expensive snack. They are absolutely unreasonable. From now on we will find another place to go for nachos. Never heard of a business that turns away paying customers before. We live in very strange days indeed.
Air conditioning was amazing on such a hot day.

My son and I enjoyed our snacks and played multiple different games.

Staff was super nice and polite.

We just wished there had been a bigger selection of snacks and a little less expensive. The price of jellybeans was silly high.

Was one of my favorite spots but recently Ive been stopping in for magic cards and not having a good experience there a gentleman named Mac, hes very rude. It's been multiple times Ive asked to see something for magic the gathering and he slams the product on the glass counter i don't know how it didn't break it and he makes sly and sarcastic remarks such as "we don't keep stock of anything and to look for myself" in a rude way. I don't get it if you don't like your job why work there?
Awesome place to hang out with a group of friends, or just two. Food options are quite a bit considering it's a cafe, and tastes great. Huge selection of board games. You pay by the hour that you are there, and it is a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. Would love to come back!

Found out about them pretty late but so excited to have another local game shop. The comics come pre sleeved which my spouse loves that and I adore all the board games. They obviously don't have the buying power as Amazon so if you expect them to beat their prices, please stop, just remember they are local people you are supporting. They also have tons of great events and are open every single day, which I think is freaking amazing.

One of my fave places in Toronto, I come here to play Warhammer. They’ve crafted such a comfy and cheerful space to exist in that paying for beer and a table is absolutely worth it over gaming at home. Whether you’re trying to stand around a wargaming table for 5 hours or chill on the couch with some monopoly, this place has it all. Good food also.

Came in to test some game controllers we bought secondhand. The staff was super chill and went out of his way to help us out! A true gem of a store in Prince George! They have amazing selection!
Love this store so much coz they have a lot of Rolife Miniature Puzzels. Staffs are friendly, will come back for more board games. It’s a great store for gifts 🎁
Do not buy anything from this store!! They have bad customer policies. Bought a plasma ball from here and it stopped working randomly. Barely used it 3 times. Absolutely no sign of physical damage. And they denied a replacement for it straight away on the call. Either don’t sell such poor quality product or atleast consider a customer’s perspective when something like this happens.

Spacious venue with easy access from TTC and nearby Green P car park. I prefer this to Snakes and Lattes because the atmosphere is a bit more chilled out and the venue is nicer. They have a good collection of board games and TTRPGs for sale too.

Great place for groups, lots of parking, and great value! There was friendly staff that also taught us out to play some games even when they were at the end of their shift!

Some games I recommend for groups of 6: hues clues, clovers, camels up, marrakech

We just had some drinks I tried my friend’s apple cider and it was yummy! My other friend loves the beer they recommended!
Almost every time I go to STC I walk around mind games. They have an amazing selection of DIY kits, magic cards, puzzles, board games and Miniverse kits. The manager is always so kind and helpful and each employee greets me with a smile and asking if I need help. A great gem of a games store!!
This Sunday on Feb 25th 2024, I have been visiting the store frequently and also being a frequent buyer I went back and bought darts from the store.l, confirmed twice with the sales rep about the refund as well as at the payment counter about refund which was that I have to return the product as is in packaged condition within 7 days of my purchase for the REFUND of my money... Today Feb 27th 2024 I wanted to return the item as we wanted to buy something else instead (not from mind games) I went to return and to my surprise the person at the counter denied me refund and instead insisted me on store credit or exchange... I don't want store credit as probably after this experience of mine I would never want to come back to the store. Refund is what I want and is also mentioned on their website that I can return an unopened item and get refunded. The person that confirmed me the refund his name is Adam

Really awesome place! Yuki the store owner was so helpful and generous. We brought our 3 kids and they loved the toys we won :) Definetly would recommend and will come again soon.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

My kids (15 and 12 years old) went to this store today and was watched like they were thieves, they said they were watched and followed the entire time they were in the store. My kids didn't pay much mind to it so they continued to look around. They found an item and went to the cash. The associate took the item away from them. They said to the associate they wanted to purchase the item and the associate told them no and told them to leave the store.
An extremely fun experience. All the staff are extremely kind and knowledgeable of so many games. I love the aspect of having both a coffee shop while playing games with friends. The latte was really tasty and large, and there are tons of games to play. 100% would recommend to come here with friends or a family gathering!

Great deals friendly atmosphere, honestly my favorite store in PG. Just make sure you check the games for scratches before buying them, but if a game doesn't work you can always get a refund I refunded a purchase after over a year of the purchase. They also have a polisher to remove any scratches. Overall perfect store!!

Best game store in the city, good selection of board games, trading cards and comics. Great events during the week, the shop is clean and modern, lots of table space for games and events. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend for all your gaming and nerdy needs. Should go.
This was previously where the Disney Store was located before they closed back in 2021. There is something for everyone from Funko Pops to board games and lots more! I had fun browsing at some stuff here.
8$ per each person! We only payed some common games. You should come here with more than 3 friends. Cuz there's not many good games for duel but for the multiplayers, there are lots of games you can all try 😚
Been there for many years now, Yuki has always been kind and helpful with everything. Each visit, we always get a few plushies. Their plushies always cute and legit. Highly recommend 😊

Great place. Had so much fun playing a new board game. The staff was so friendly that she helped pick and how to play the game. We had their nachos and it was fantastic

If you are looking for a cafe that offers board game activities and you like your experience to be leisurely and relaxing, the Guild House is the place for you.

Unlike typical board game cafes where the atmosphere is hectic and the visit compressed, the Guild House comes across as a good cafe first. It serves excellent pastries and sandwiches in addition to beverages. It is a sizable location but not jam packed with tables. There is a lot of elbow room and a more relaxed ambience in general.

They have a healthy selection of games for patrons to borrow while on premise, and there is NO time limit to the visit. For one sitting fee you can stay till closing time.

It is a great place to hang out, eat, drink and play games without rushing.

I had a wonderful time at Pickmeclaw, the shop was nicely decorated with authentic dolls. Picking machine part does not seem over challenging, there’s a good chance to get every single dolls you would want. Pricing wise is very affordable and the manager was super attentive and charming. Would definitely promote this store on social media and also recommend friends with interest to come for a visit!

A local Toronto resident recommended this hidden gem to us, and it truly is a great place to hang out with friends and grab a quick bite. If you love board games and would like to take a break from the business of the everyday I recommend the Guild house. Grab some friends and play boardgames for a few hours. I discovered so many new games I need to add to my collection.

Previously the Disney store about a year or two back, this store is fairly big for a games store.
With that in mind, there's lots of selection to choose from, lots of interesting items and you can certainly end up spending a good amount of time inside the store. Here you'll find board games, a bit of magic items, card games, adult games, novelty games, figures, transformers, swords, etc.

Staff seem pleasant. Sales are so so. Though the fact they might have what your looking for, this could be a good stop.

Cool to check out.
Lots of games selections. Fun place for the kids to stop by. It is inside the Scarborough town center so parking is not a problem. Price depend on the kind of game. Staff are helpful. You can easily get a gift for young and adults who like games.

The Guild House is simply incredible. Not only can you order drinks and food from their cafe, but what they serve is very affordable and very delicious! Not to mention the staff is extremely kind and will help anyone who's looking for the right kind of game. The decor is rustic, inviting and makes you feel at home.

Being able to play board games at their tables and enjoy a nice snack or meal is great. They have a wonderful variety of games to play and hundreds of games to purchase on the store floor.

If you're into tabletop games like Warhammer, TGH has you covered from models, paint and brushes. If you want to play Warhammer AOS/40K, there's plenty of nice and I mean NICE tables designed with beautiful terrain on their lower level floor. The low cost of $5 to play at a table ALL DAY is just an incredible deal and everyone I've met while playing is so friendly. Did I mention you can order from the cafe and play? I love enjoying a nice latte while destroying my opponent with bolter fire.

To be honest, I can praise TGH forever, it's just that great and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to play games and enjoy some good food and beverages. See for yourself and you wont be disappointed. It's a great place for date nights and I can't wait to return. I love The Guild House!!

I like this place. it givrs quite an excitment !! scream a lot LOL if ypu can catch or cannot catch a doll. it is especially good when you go on a date. it is quite easy to catch a toy or 2. the staffs are very friendly. If you catch a toy that you don't like they let you exchange it within the same box. Price is reasonable you pay $20 you can get 25 coins. one coin per game. It is not very easy to find it is the basement of the Plaza. I think it is a fun place I will recommend it

I love claw games and machines, and have played a lot! We found this place through Google and was close by enough to check it out. Its located in Langham Square but it took us 15 mins to actually find the store! The front was facing the main street but theres no parking, so we had to park within the complex. The mall-facing entrance was not on the main floor but youhave to access as part of the underground parking level. I blame the mall's layout.

Catchers' Station has a nice, clean and simple layout. All the machines are along the walls. They also have a wall full of stuffed animals you can take photos with.

Someone was there to manage the store, but wasn't proactive to greet or welcome us. Unless you ask, you wouldn't know how much each machine requires and how much tokens were. Each token is $1 and some machines take 1 token and latter 2, which wasn't too bad.

The variety of dolls are nice but not really to my taste. We wanted to try the claw strength and got 5 tokens. Played on 2 machines and got a small Pluto, almost had another Piglet! The staff was nice to help us take a photo on the wall though :)
What an awesome place to have fun and spend time with your friends. Easy to catch the toys also the toys are good quality and good looking. I come every week after work to release my stress in here. When you and your friends wanna find someplace to spend time, catcher station is the place.
