Great trail considering it's right in Sydney. Small creek running through it with lots of small bridges to cross back and forth. Excellent for a chill walk with the dog. Lots of birds and squirrels to keep them entertained. Downside is that it is so close to the highway in spots that it can get a little noisy with the urban sounds you're trying to escape from.

A very nice spot for a hike and with some beautiful views of the Valley and surrounding mountains, wildlife is abundant during spring and late autumn. Trail is flat and moderate, make sure you checkout the suspension bridge!!!

We did a wonderful early winter hike. Not too far in. There is a bit of elevation. Shoe traction spikes highly recommended.

This is a lovely hike with only a couple of inclines that brings your heart rate up. We did need our spikes as there are some icy spots once you’re into the forest.

Rotary Park is an absolute gem! The lush greenery creates a serene atmosphere, and the well-maintained trails offer a delightful walking experience. The waterfall adds a picturesque touch, and the lake is perfect for fishing enthusiasts. It's a dog walker's paradise with ample space for furry friends to explore. A hidden oasis that seamlessly blends nature and recreation. Highly recommend for a peaceful escape into the beauty of Rotary Park!
Awesome trail ❤️

A very pleasant trail. You can enjoy distant views of Louisburg and lighthouse. Along the way, there are informational signs that narrate the rise and fall of the old town. The round trip takes about 50 minutes.
Mainly board walk hike in forested area! Highly recommend to start from Lilooet road trail head as this is the most scenic part of Baden Powell.
It is mostly flat and easy but with some stairs. Many side trail options with much more to see. Pay parking in effect from March to October in Lynn Canyon park parking lot.
Thompson Falls Trailhead was a perfect Sunday morning hike and worth the time to see.

Absolutely love this place. Had to take a few little side trails to get down to the water. But the overall hike around was good. Beautiful place.
So hard to get parking near buy. Had to walk from 2 blocks away just to get back down to the parking lots.
And there were so many people.
Well kept trails, they’re quite a few different routes that intertwine and some do not show on All Trails so I got ‘lost’ a couple times but never hard to find my way back on track. I think once a person has been a few times and has the lay of the land it’s a fantastic place for short or long walks! Beautiful scenery along the brooks too.
Nice trail, we ran it and it took around an hour. Steep hills going there.
From the road, you walk for about 5 minutes to reach the first small waterfall. After walking another 5 minutes, you'll arrive at the main waterfall.
The waterfall is situated within a kind of canyon, and the amount of water is really impressive.
There weren't any signs on the road pointing to the waterfalls. Using Google Maps is necessary to find your way.

Nice hike that will definitely get your heart rate up. Decent view from the top with benches that is overlooking Sydney harbour. Near the top is "Pittman Lodge" where you can enter and sign a guest book and take a seat for a rest before hiking back to the bottom.
Forget steep, the trailhead is EPIC! This is a difficult 45 degree climb for the first 3/4 km. Anyone with breathing or joint issues should evaluate their ability before starting. That said, I am an asthmatic with bad knees and I did it.Just remember to save some energy for the trip back because you are walking down that same climb and some places the rocks are loose. Be sure to have sturdy footwear. The upper loops are easy and moderate. With the large rain amounts, there are some muddy areas and washes, but nothing that makes the trails unsafe. Be sure to stop in at Pitman Lodge to sign the guest book.

Tourist attraction…a guest was staying at my unit and wanted to experience these local falls. Easy parking at East lot , free as well. Quick stroll and I took a nap on the river.
Nice hike. Quite muddy in certain spots, but not very busy on weekdays.

A nature walk through Lynn Park via trails and several steps takes the hiker to a bridge overlooking pristine water and two waterfalls in close proximity to each other. The loud rushing water is indicative of the power rushing through. The falls are not exceptionally high but beautiful natural wonders with pooling water at the base that resemble small swimming pools.
Great place for walking. Free entrance to the park. The incredible nature of coniferous and not only trees and the soothing sound of waterfalls will give you heavenly pleasure

Great spot to take the kids paths are well maintained
Great stairs. The concrete is forgiving yet firm, ample in amount yet subtle in effect. The handrail brackets both sides like a frame on a Monet.
Great spot to do stair exercises .. Handrail to help stabilize while climbing up and down .. A great winter workout! 🏃

Great little bridge off to the side of the trails to get across the river/falls to the Baden Powell Trail. There's many great site seeing views along the way from the main entrance, small rapids/falls; plenty of areas with staircases too! Depending on the day, some areas can get rather muddy.

Amazing hike. Loved every minute of it! The falls are awesome. Apparently you can just drive up the road and access the falls easier that way, but who would want to do that? Get a good hike in! I took my time, took lots of photos, and was able to complete the 12 km there and back from the trailhead to the falls in under 4 hours. It's not as difficult of a trail as people on here make it seem. This is a great experience!
The hike is pretty good. Some longer stretches with out a river view, so I saw a few complaints about that, but Mother Nature doesn’t always design itself for postcard hikes.
I thought the trail was quite easy to follow, so again, I disagree with some other complaints. Some sections were washed away when I went, May 2020, so there were easy to follow detours that took you away from the riverbank.
12 km round trip hike can be shortened by driving the road, but that’s your choice.
The falls seem less than spectacular at first, but I love that’s it’s not a postcard perfect place. The falls make 2 - 90 degree turns so I think it’s quite unique to see.
It’s a very peaceful place and I met no one on my trek, so it was great.
I really look forward to visiting this place again soon!

The trail on the Rotary Drive side near the stream is much more interesting. There are off leash areas with clear signage but each visit I encounter dogs outside the off leash area with the selfish owners not having their dogs on a leash but just letting their pets run freely. My little dog is frightened of these larger dogs because he has been attacked in the past. On the Membertou side of the park, there are often Quads / 4-wheelers zooming up and down the trails illegally, which is dangerous for walkers. Definitely worth a visit. There are benches and maps located throughout the park.
Amazing place to avoid the sun and toxicity of roads/cars.
Definitely harder than expected. The falls were great and we even found a few places to swim on the way back. Use bug spray.
So worth it! and was an amazing hike. It’s really steep in the beginning but it will pass after 20 minutes or so. I was wearing my running shoes so I’d highly recommend not to wear them since they don’t have a strong grip as compared to hiking shoes and don’t forget your bug spray! 😊

Lovely place to go for a walk, thankfully there's less dog mess than in the off-leash section but it' still such a shame it's so prevalent. There are a few benches dotted around but they're quite far apart from the point of view of someone with walking limitations. This park would definitely benefit from more benches and more trash cans/bins.

Such a beautiful trail and very well maintained. Love that it is dog friendly and there are always people walking along as well and are very friendly as well.
It's a nice trail but if you just want to see the falls you can drive there. No need for a 12km hike.
The first time we've done this and honestly it is one of the best trails but one of the hardest trails we've done.

I really did have trouble at parts but there was a nice view. I was expecting more from the view to be honest with you. I enjoyed the hike up though. It does level off after about ten minutes or twenty minutes you will have an easier time after that.

I really and truly felt accomplished after doing this trail. Wonderful day and an even grater time. The door is normally open in the cabin if you do that main trail. We didn't do the western loop trail, but it's five k and really seemed nice, but we didn't have time.

This is one of our favorite places in the world. The natural, unspoiled beauty combines with well maintained, family friendly trails. There are always friendly people, some alone, some with friends, kids, and dogs, but it never feels crowded. The streams are gorgeous and provide a relaxing, soothing sound.
A great hike some harder then others and wear proper shoes and some bug spray, it's a beautiful view at the top and the little cabin is nice for a rest or make a meal or if you call and set it up stay the night there we saw a quail and didn't get to see any others but some do see some that's why they give walking sticks at the entrances but make sure to leave them there when you are done 10/10 hard hike but we'll worth it
Awesome hike! Not for the faint of heart (tough beginning); but doable after the 1st 15 mins. Amazing vista views...
