Wendy was so rude when I came into the store she should not in the customer service industry
I went to pay at a till as I don't support self-check outs and the July 9th, 3:30 manager points me to a self- check out and I asked if there were any tills open and she rudely says yeah that one pointing to the self-check out. She tells me the employee will do it for me. THE ISSUE ISN'T THE LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY, it is the fact that that employee will soon be obsolete and most of the starter jobs for our children will be gone. I put my things away and will do the same if they don't have a till open next time. Manager needs an attitude adjustment. Is this an issue of laziness or cheapness???
The store is great and people are great expect for the long grey hair guy. He cussed at me and my friends. He verbally abused us. He was getting in my face. Btw I am 13 years old. He swore at us. We didn’t do anything wrong we were just looking around. This guy should be fired from all dollaramas.

I had brought leds and battery packs 2 weeks before and I went today with my girlfriend and my friend nate and we got told we stole the battery's because I pulled one out for my leds on my bmx and then she said I stole them the week before so I'm being blamed for something I didn't do also I whent in with my helmet and got told that I was stealing I did not even grab anything yet evrey day I would go buy a mint chocolate aero bar and no problems this new girl comes and well I'm being told different so u lost a really good customer don't buy there
I got what I wanted for a cheap price. Everything about this store is pretty ok, but if you like dollar stores you will most likely like this one

Worst run dollar store around, the self check out are complete disaster. They malfunction nonstop one cashier, four people waiting for assistance. While he’s trying to cash out other people just a complete disaster. No other staff and site lined up all the way around, avoid at all cost there’s lots more in town.!

I was at this location the other day. Firstly. I find it incredibly annoying that the staff purposely scans items at the check out super slowly so people get annoyed at use the self check out. We are asked to buy reusable bags (fine) but if the bag isn’t bought at the store apparently the staff members won’t touch it so we have to pack the bag ourselves. When asked why they won’t touch our bags the cashier replied “it’s a personal thing. We don’t know if you’ve coughed at the bag or not” to which I laughed and said I could have picked my nose and wiped it on one of the said items you just picked up and scanned. While I’m saying that someone coughed aggressively and didn’t cover their mouth. Just make it make sense. If a 90 year old women comes up because she doesn’t know how to use self check out are you going to tell her she has to pack her own bag too because she may have coughed on it ? Just sanitize your hands after or put on some gloves.
I went to dollar tree with my little brother (6)my little sister(9) and big sister (14) and I’m (12) when we first walked in we didn’t even get a hello we just got a dirty look. We didn’t think anything about it until we went to the Candy aisle and all of the workers started surrounding us and then when we went to check out this one worker yelled “Ashley these little kids are stealing in are store again” and then pointed to us. We in fact were NOT stealing and even after that we didn’t say anything and just went to buy the candy then the lady decides that when we are buying our stuff that she wants to stand next to us and watch while giving us dirty looks the whole time.We were very uncomfortable the whole time and a week earlier we went and the same workers gave us dirty looks and rude comments. I don’t recommend shopping here.
Dawna was amazing. So helpful and the most pleasant cashier that I have encountered in a very long time. Dollar Tree should be very proud to have an employee like her.
A very good store where to buy those cheap and much needed items. And so many selections to choose from. Really enjoyed visiting this place. Loved it!!!
BEWARE. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT Called "Bathroom Cleaner" from the Dollar Tree UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK IT SPILLING & POTENTIALLY HARMING YOUR PETS OR CHILDREN. The bottle is the cheapest thing Ive ever seen & there is no company name on it & ingredients are very difficult to read or see. When it leaked in the bag & I noticed when I got home because the cap was faulty & it a fourth of bottle ended up on floor.... long story short, I had to call the poison control line for animals & get a referal to take my dog to emerge. The toxicologist couldn't look up product & I sent pictures of the ingredients & front & back of the bottle & they couldn't even really determine the percentages of chemicals, etc... $500 dollars after going to the animal hospital, etc... I did my shopping at dollartree because my house was being renovated & I had to spend time at a friend's house. I told the friend I would clean up. I bought some cleaning products from Dollar Tree, which I don't usually go to but the store was in the area. Even if I saved money from the actual product being cheap, it definitely isn't worth the risk of animals and kids being able to get into it so easily because of defective bottles.

Good place to buy stuff at reasonable prices
I just came to the store to check the loto today. This was my first time checking the loto and I asked him to check the loto. He said to check the loto in the loto machine so I don't know how to do it. I asked the owner how to do it. Then he started telling how to do it. Then he started to giving me attitude and shouts "JUST LISTEN. WHY ARE YOU NOT LISTENING" Then I got angry. Then he sweared at me and then I was about to throw my hands on him but I did not because there is cameras around. So I sweared at him backThen he said that he will call the cops and kicked me out of the store for know reason just for checking lotos. This worst customer service. I recommend not to go to this store. Worst experience I had.
Great staff and great variety of items. I work close so it's the best place to grab a quick snack or beverage or maybe even a birthday card and gift wrap.
Only a 3 star for now until they decide to get better quality earbuds and wireless earbuds I've bought 2 wireless earbuds and the first pair lasted a month before the right earbud stopped working now I just bought a pair 1 day ago and the right earbud doesn't charge properly I'm getting annoyed at this point
i had a very unpleasant experience today. the manager at this store is very disrespectful and followed me around the whole time i shopped. stay clear of the older managers path, she has a wicked wrath. will not be coming back.
Place is not too busy when I was there. The Hot Wheels they have are a bit more expensive than Walmart. This is a good place to get snacks and nail clippers. Birthday cards are cheap, however, it’s always the same ones. They should really stock some different cards so people can go back for new ones.
Too crowded with accessories, same items had two different price tags, asked the cashier, she replied “the higher price item was recently received and the lower price was received long time ago”. I bought 6 of them with two different prices.
This is place is horrible. They sold me a non working item and didn’t do anything about it when I came back. Horrible products to match the horrible customer service. Do not recommend.
DO NOT SUPPORT. I came here to write about my experience only to find out so many others have gone through the same thing. It is genuinely shocking how many people this man has wrongfully accused of stealing. You would think he would be more careful but his attitude is very demeaning. I have never experienced this at another store and he turned it around to seem like I had made a mistake. Apparently you aren’t allowed to bring anything without him thinking it belongs to his store. Do not support this type of behaviour!!!!!
The store has ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE customer service and disrespects their customers for no reason at all. Owner can’t even stand up to his own mistakes and apologize for disrespecting customers after falsely accusing his customers. I recently went to this store looking for an item that I couldn’t find and while leaving the store empty handed I saw the owner call out “hey”“ come here” in a rude tone treating us like kids although we’re both grown adults, he started saying that that these sports equipment we had in our hands needed to be checked then started to falsely accuse us for taking it from his store since he was selling a similar item. After we repeatedly mentioned that they were ours he said we still shouldn’t have went in without letting him check the equipment first, and kept saying that we shouldn’t have went in with “his” equipment since he also sells them although we both kept telling him we weren’t aware he was also selling those items. I then told him that he could check him cameras for proof only to tell us that the item isn’t that big of a deal after making a whole scene in front of many people in and outside of the store. I am very disappointed that I was publicly humiliated and accused for stealing items that were clearly mine, and the fact that once he realized he was at fault instead of apologizing he kept arguing back and trying to cover up his mistake by saying “just show me next time” although it’s not one of the stores rules. I would’ve appreciated an apology after such humiliation that lasted awhile and being treated like a kid getting told to come here when he could’ve easily kindly asked to check the items with a simple please but the owner couldn’t even apologize after the whole situation ended.
Besides one mishap when I first came here, this place has been very well on it's srrvice. They don't call it frontdollar for no reason, you are going to have to pay for the convience. Plenty of snacks, foods, and other items you may need if you forgot anything or need something new for your place when you live downtown.
This self checkout is getting out of hand. I don’t work here, why am I doing the work? I brought MY OWN REUSABLE BAGS and you can’t even start scanning until an employee comes, logs in and verifies. What is the point? Then when you fill the first bag and add another, you have to find someone in the store and repeat. When I questioned the employee, I got the “I just work here” line. Dollarama, you need to step up your customer service game. Nobody to be found at the cash area. AND I apparently inconvenienced them by needing someone to come up. Didn’t even say a word to me.
Overpriced...I'm not sure how this place survives or if they'll survive much longer.
You can go to Dollarama or Dollartree and get something for 2 bucks where this place sells the exact same thing for like, 8 bucks.

Great store with lots of hidden gems. I could spend hours in this store. Everything for 1.25$ from soup to nuts , party decorations, kitchen gadgets, home decorating, crafts, cleaning products, and the list goes on. Like I said, a great store to shop
I recently had a truly disappointing experience at Big Bazaar, where I was falsely accused and subjected to horrible customer service.
The store owner accused me of tampering with my digital Photo ID, which I had provided for a money-transfer service I needed, and proceeded to yell at me.
As I began to deny his baseless accusations and retaliate, the store owner suddenly realized their mistake and instead of sincerely apologizing, he muttered:
“oh, sorry, I didn’t look at the issue date”; while zooming in and out of my phone.
When I questioned him and asked him why he so comfortably accused me of such a huge offence, he turned on me and yelled at me for “lecturing” him for his horrible customer service. He had his assistant with him who graciously came by to speculate and walked away knowing it was his fault, but stayed quiet. He did not care that he had other customers in his store.
To make matters even worse, he stated that he was offering the service as an “exception” in the first place, as digital ID is NOT accepted:
1) What makes me an exception? He did not know me and just wanted my business.
2) Why would you claim to do a “favour” for a random customer and then proceed to remind them of it?
3) Why would the owner initially inform me that digital ID was accepted when it was not?
The store owner's behavior was unacceptable, unprofessional, disrespectful and showed a complete lack of empathy. I was deeply disappointed by the customer service provided by the owner store, and I will NOT be returning here in the future.
I would not recommend this store to anyone due to the poor customer service and the owner's unacceptable behavior. If you are looking for a reputable business with better customer service, I suggest you look elsewhere and avoid Big Bazaar at all costs. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I hope that others do not have to go through the same situation.

Awesome store everything is very cheaper and way cheaper than Walmart it's just that some stuff are not as good quality

It's decent, I wouldn't quite call it a dollar store if you sell everything from curtains and track pants for $15/$30. I guess those are dollars though 😏...
Great selection for Easter decorations and eggs with reasonable prices. Lineup wasn't long either. Just aisles are a tight squeeze and hard to socially distance yourself.
Giant Tiger is a pretty good store. They sell many things including a limited number of groceries. I find the pricing good and sometimes you can find an exceptional deal. I like this store for certain groceries and Sundry products, it's worth the drive to Acton.
This store has everything including an awesome selection of helium balloons! They have a really good price for their helium balloons too! The staff is really friendly and helpful. They are always available for help or questions and never busy to go the extra mile. Since finding out about their awesome selection I don’t go to any other dollar store. This is a great go to place for kids birthday party needs and they have pretty much most of what other dollar stores have but everything here is $1.25 - everything!
I really appreciate this place. It's more like a sort of modern 'general store' with lots of handy dollar store items as well as basic food necessities plus some really great frozen foods (meats and veggies too!) and some helpful household items a bit beyond most dollar stores, like curtain rods and rugs and more hardware and pots and pans, etc. Besides the wide array of items nicely spaced out with wide ailes, the staff have always been helpful and kind. I really appreciate that this place serves the downtown core!
Great selection such a wide variety! Found everything I need and more but likely this is the problem when you stop here! Lol great customer service, very friendly staff. I was so happy they stay open until 9 pm because I ran other errands and made it here too! Will be back!
Carry all desi essential items. They have two cash registers when they saw the lineup the other cashier jumped as well so it was pretty quick.

You could do affordable purchase with good quality of items. Great Christmas decorations materials, useful kitchen stuff, stationary,toys, flowers,washing items, cookies,etc.
My dollar tree here in Trenton, Ontario is amazing. The store is always clean, the shelves are always being stocked and the staff is there to help you with help or advice anytime you ask for it. And never have I ever felt like I am a bother to them. The store manager, always has time to say hello to you and is there for any help or questions you might have. Thank you Dollar Tree for all you do in my store and to each of you working there...each one of you are truly awesome.

Being a loyal customer, no respect from cashier that's shame. Well now onwards I will go to dollarama or barging club. Cashier thinks she knows about virus more than me. So she forcing me like boss . I entered the business and I needed few things so it was quick in and out. I would take small card or something. But there was no cart or no one to say hello . So I bought the few things I need to and go to cashier. And here you find this boss asked me take a cart next time. I said I dont see here. Then she said i sneaked in . Really ?use proper language. First things you should know about customers is customer service. I rather to go to self checkout instead of this uneducated cashier .sad.
Manager was very rude. Staff otherwise are nice, but will be driving to Belleville or Cobourg as I will not support a manager who yells at customers. Shame on him... maybe it's time for management change.

When you go to the Dollar Tree, you expect to purchase disposable items. But the manager is the one who should be disposed of. The staff clearly dislike him, as do most customers, I am willing to make the trip to the Belleville Dollar Tree, just to ensure a more pleasant shopping experience, and I do not want to give him any of my money! I would go to Toronto instead of here, Tony is a horrible person and has a weird obsession with everyone leaving their bags with him, he thinks everyone is stealing everything, he even blocked off the back door for a while(which is illegal) because he needs to see everyone going in and out. Terrible person, and deserves to have his store shut down. Will never be shopping here EVER again, that's a promise. I also heard Tony likes to unnecessarily ban people, he should be the one banned.
I don’t know if you can call this a grocery store. It’s more of a Dollar Store than a grocery store. Don’t expect to find your fruits and vegetables here. Their grocery is limited to mostly frozen items and some limited selection of breads. They also have a good selection of Pakistani spices.
What I really like is their non-grocery aisles which have a lot of stuff you don’t find at your regular dollar stores.
Small annoyance is that some items don’t have price stickers on them so you don’t really know how much they are until you get to the cash register.
Overall good neighbourhood convenience store.

Great place for quick trips. Lots of stock and a clean store. Lines can get long but they do move fairly quickly. Better prices for virtually the same products if you look hard enough. Dollarama is constant with keeping their shelves stocked and items well displayed
Great place to grab little things especially when you can't get out to other bigger stores. Prices are actually dollar store prices unlike most of the chain ones now as well. Lots of good little craft things for kids. Always surprised to see some of the things they carry that I haven't found at other stores.
Was at the dollar tree today in Trenton and asked them to blow up a number 5 balloon that I have brought with me for they didn't have one in the store. So now my granddaughter's 5th birthday balloon sits on floor instead of floating with her other balloon that I bought in there store. Very upset with store's quality of customers satisfaction.
Centrally located in downtown Trenton. At this time everything is $1.25. It has all the usual items you expect to find at a dollar store and a few items that I could not find elsewhere. The personnel is pleasant and helpfull.
Dollar tree is a good place for low priced items , they have most of the items that you need it , big space parking , wheelchair accessible, the place is big and huge , they have a big collection from A to Z with low and good price the staff was so friendly and kind , they offer me help couple of times they are always smiling , I recommend this place for all families , and if you want anything just start with place you fine it or at least smeller to what you want with low price , the quality is good , thanks
I am an avid shopper of the Trenton Dollar Tree, however, I will NO LONGER be supporting this business. Mel is a disrespectful cashier. I was in line, waiting to be served, as an elderly gentleman was in front of me. He had maybe 5 items. I heard “Really?? I have to call my supervisor to approve this now!!” with sighs of frustration and anger from the cashier, because the gentleman had forgotten his wallet. How inconsiderate as staff. I have more respect for our seniors than this. I think there would have been a better solution to this, perhaps holding his items while he ran to the car, or telling him he can stop back and pick up any time. Expressing anger due to customer actions is WRONG! Customers are to be treated with respect! Mel thought it was appropriate to express his own anger, and annoyance to me, another customer once the gentleman left. This was so unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable, and unwelcomed in the store.
The store itself has a lot of cute little items and they keep the shelves well stocked. Can't beat the prices. However, I have not found customer service to be the greatest. At my last visit I walked up to the checkout and no one was there so I rang the bell, then I hear someone behind the shelf give out a huge huff and someone named "chris" marched up to the cash, doesn't even acknowledge me. He just grabs my items and rings them through and asks for my money and that's it. Maybe it's just me but I always thought serving customers was a part of your job in customer service, but I've been wrong before.
