Great ice and maybe the biggest locker rooms in Edmonton.

The game was fun! For the actual building though, there wasn't enough washrooms, the doors were so close together upon entry people were elbowing others because of close proximity.
The seats are comfy and staff are friendly. This is a no cash building

This place is great for hockey and stampede alike. I think $14 for a canned cooler seems a bit excessive though. The dill Caesars were phenomenal. I did not like the buns they used for the pocket dogs so just ate the hot dog. Was too big, crusty, and not enjoyable to attempt to eat at all to me. The bacon cheddar dog was good though. Popcorn was ok. Was super busy for a Thursday but it was a good time, even though the Flames lost.

Always well maintained. Good ice, good location. Parking lot is too small
The Saddle Dome seats do not show which section you are in. Section 4,5& 6 are indistinguishable causing numerous seat changes well into the 1st Period.

The Saddle Dome should be repurposed as. Minor Hockey rink in the lower bowl and a professional sports training facility replacing the second & nose bleed level.

The architecture is the most unique view along the skyline and should be preserved, especially following it's recent upgrades following the flood.
great

It's been 25 years since I went to a Flames game at the Saddledome, so it was definitely a fun and nostalgic experience. I'm not really sure anything has been updated since then. It all seems pretty original. We had seats 3 and 4 in row 1 of section PL14. I remember it being much higher up, but it was actually a great place to watch the game. The seats are a little tight with no cup holders, I'm not sure if that's normal or not, as I'm not really into hockey. The big screens up there are a little dim. They need new projectors or bulbs. It was nice to have both washrooms and beer available at that level without having to walk all the way down. It was also only $40 CAD per ticket (resale), making it a perfect activity to treat my employee to a night out on a business trip.

A lot of things to like about playing here.

Big locker rooms
Medium sized benches with working gates
Boards are an easy height to jump over
Path to the ice is rubber and clean
Ice is usually in great shape

Only downside is finding a parking spot

Decent community rink. The attendant did us a solid by coming in early when our practice time was booked for the wrong time. Top notch!

Nice clean facility, was great dropping in for free skating
Hockey rink, great parking, good showers
As the stadium has been around a while, the only thing that could improve is facilities for disabled patrons, especially those who require walking canes or wheelchair access.
The stairways are really steep and the seating is not so comfortable. Bring a cushion if you are fussy.
Other than that the atmosphere at a professional hockey game was electric. I do wish people would stay in their seats, it detracts from viewing an event. Get your drinks and popcorn etc on the way in.
I had the opportunity of bringing my granddaughter to her swimming lesson today and I was very impressed with the facility but even more so with the helpful, friendly staff. Well done….👍

Best part was the lasers, worst part were the washroom lineups. The layout of the space made for an easy entrance. Enjoyed having the option to use bleachers.
1 RTD was 9.75. Parking was available.
Used the hall to feed vets and cadets on November 11. Great building.

Loved seeing the Wranglers hockey game here. The seats were very comfortable. One side was nicer with extra padding on the seats and cup holders and the other side was more plain. Good prices for the food and drinks. If your okay to pay a bit more you can have it all delivered to your seat. There is a scan code on each seat. Great idea! Parking on-site was good. Not sure if the prices fluctuate. I would definitely go see another event here.
Well, this time our kids b-days, thanks for making a special for them. Really appreciate. Thanks!

We watched ice hockey game for the first time here. Nice ice hockey field and atmosphere. Lower seats give great view. From the top seats almost couldn’t see the puck at all and the view might be blocked by railings and stairs.

Facilities are great here. Each male toilet have around 10 urinals. And there’re water fountains. Lots of restaurants for food and beer. There was free beer for trial at the game.
It was a long awaited moment on my Dad's and my Bucket List to visit the Saddledome someday for a game before it gets demolished. We may have been rooting for the Rangers, but I want to Thank the Flames Staff for being very friendly! I celebrated my Dad's Birthday that night and the Saddledome staff made sure to wish my Dad a Happy Birthday!
We have been using Walter Baker facilities for over 30 years! Our children used it and now our grandchildren are using it!! Well organized and in great shape! Nice staff.
I saw my friends hockey game here and he won so its 5 stars. Also my brother works here at the front desk he’s a little annoying but he’s also chill. If you go right now (oct 18) they have a jar to guess the amount of candies to win them
Small benches but nice arena
Been wanting to write this review for a while.
Amazing swimming instructors at this facility. My preschooler did two levels here after doing one at a different City of Ottawa facility.
I can say the swimming instructors at the WBSC are AMAZING and really take the lessons seriously and do their best to make sure the little ones are comfortable and learning as well as having fun! We’ve had Kate, Sara and Autumn and all three of them were Wonderful! Keep up the good work :)
First time in the building so I had trouble finding my way around. It's a very busy place and there's lots of Happy families coming and going. I was there to volunteer at a health fair upstairs in the food court. Very clean and well kept location. Very large parking lots seem to be always full so you may need to park far from the door.

Good ice. Small seating area behind the benches and a couple small areas to sit in two of the corners. The heaters in the corners work but not so much for the seating behind the benches. Facilty is well kept. Change rooms are tiny but we made it work.

I always come to PNE every year. I find every year is different Concerts, food, music and some games. It's always FUN, that's PNE is all about... The most exciting fun I like most is The dog 🐕 show and the dance 💃 music 🎶 is always my favorite...
One of the best Recreational Centres in Ottawa. Their swimming pool timings for public is more convenient for working people. Clean and well maintained hot-tube and sauna are added bonus at this centre when compared to other centres.

Fun for the family. Lots to see and do and buy. No cash. Bring credit cards or use cash to buy gift cards. Recommend fast-pass for rides if you go on weekends.
Great facility with big pool facility, ideal for people of all ages. Lifeguards are friendly and willing to help. Only thing is that pool change rooms need a bit of an upgrade.

No air conditioning and the worst smell. We took my kid to the Bubble for a birthday and the place stinked! Feet and body odor without ventilation. My kid git sick afterwards. It was not this bad a few months ago but this time really awful.
Two businesses run their skating lessons from this rink. Mayfield and Crestwood.

Crestwood seems quite good and patient with the kids learning to skate.

I've seen progress every week with my kids.

Also skate sharpening is available on site for a reasonable price.
I like it and definitely will go again. Family friendly environment and nice polite staff. I have really good time there.

Candy Cane Lane was nice but honestly there was a lot that looked literally thrown into the yards and trees, was not what I expected from pictures online. There were a lot of very beautiful places that were worthy of such a reputation as CCL has but their value is honestly lowered by the ‘put there simply bc they had to’ ones. Family came from southern Alberta to go with us and we’re quite disappointed and we did not finish the entire thing. My 5 year old grandson was game to leave then too.

Ice quality is decent but not the best. Availability is good too. Change rooms are what you would expect of a highly used hockey facility, but less than you would hope.
The folks running beginner hockey programs at Rinx are fantastic though, that would be 5 star

A very nice place to receive a COVID vaccination. Spacious, airy, well-staffed with competent helpful people and a minimal wait. We went on transit and found it easy to get to.

The process of getting and submitting self administered covid tests here (Nov 2021) was efficient. We tested our kids right in the car and dropped the kits right back in 15 minutes. If possible, two adults is advised, there's a lot of steps to complete online in addition to a paper slip in the test bag. It went much easier with two adults to handle the younger kids.
Great training rink and ice is in excellent condition! Would highly recommend this place for some small group or private training.

This is a Covid 19 Test review. Booked an appointment this am (woke with scratchy throat and runny nose). In and out and 20 minutes. Seeing my tax dollars work like this pleases me. Efficient friendly and fast!
It's very clean quiet and the best thing about it is it's clean nice little park with a bench benches has a very medium parking in front of the park which is pretty cool cuz you can watch a ride and your kid at the same time yeah

I went to get a Covid-19 test. A noisy place, primarily dealing with tests for children. Very efficiently organized, though the wait for old adult me was closer to 40 minutes than to the ten minutes suggested on the on-line booking site. Everyone was pleasant and professional. And my test came back negative. So of course I think the place is great!
Hidden gem training facility.
Always a pleasure at Londonderry recreational center. My favorite gym here in Edmonton Alberta Canada, great for all ages

Went there for Covid 19 testing. As it was my first experience in a testing center, I felt very assured by the measures taken. The staff are super nice. The doctors and nurses take their time to help you and guide you throughout the procedure. My appointment was at the end of the day and the staff were maintaining their energy and high spirits. Also, we got the result very fast because we were traveling.

I came here for the public swimming pool, they allow up to 40 people at once into the outside swimming pool. They also host classes here for swimming, baseball, hockey, and more in pretty sure. They also have a summer camp that surprisingly good!
The owner installed strict measures in these times of Covid 19. He personally was in the building controlling traffic and making sure everyone was following protocol.
Thanks for caring.

I came here with my girlfriend for open public skate and we both enjoyed it very much! When we arrived, the ice was smooth and was perfect to skate on. Its a shame that we only had an hour to skate here, because we would have liked to stay for longer. The building looked a bit old, but had adequate signage for us to find our way to the rink and changing rooms. I would definately come again!

Ice is small, dressing rooms even smaller. The city should seriously consider putting in stick racks, sticks are constantly falling. They also keep this rink cold, and the radiant heaters over the spectators are rarely in. If it wasn't nice and bright, I'd give it 1 star.

When busy parking is bad. Don't expect to get a spot in the parking lot. Look out on the street. The change rooms are small. It still is an enclosed arena and all the amenities are there. No skate sharpening though. This is an example of an older city arena which is acceptable

It's a big facility and during the evenings, there seems to be very little staff that goes around. I get it. Rinks ice condition is decent but lockers are usually full of things on the floor. What amazes me the most however is that rink 2 (for ex.) only has URINALS in the change rooms. As if female players didn't exist! Yes there are other common bathrooms but you have to get out of the rink space. My teammate always feels like the water pressure in the showers 🚿 is terrible. If anyone is listening. 🏒

The dressing rooms are too small. Usually one or more players end up dressing in the hallway. Spectator viewing is cramped and only consists of two long benches squeezed between the players bench glass and a concrete wall.

It is good for full ice practices where you can split the kids over a couple dressing rooms.

Crestwood is one of the older arenas in Edmonton, and it's showing it's age. Still it serves its purpose.

Nothing much more to say. There is a reasonable amount of seating, but parking is confusing. You can either park on the street west of the building, then walk all the way around to the entrance on the east, or find a spot in the unsigned lot near the door.
