Beautiful lake view. Beaches are available to sit down and also restrooms are available for use. I saw few benches in some areas of the park as well
Nice place to visit, especially Canada's longest pier.

Beautiful little park, with easy access to the pier. There's a wonderful light display here at Christmas.
Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to read, a picturesque setting for a picnic, or a reflective space to appreciate history, Victory Square Park is a delightful choice.

Every November 11 from 10 am to noon, an extensive ceremony is held to honour those that have served in Canada's military. While it is broadcast locally, large numbers of the public attend in person.

At other times of the year, there are assorted community events.

Remembrance Day ceremony at Victory Square on November 11th, 1932. credit: Vancouver Archives

Victory Square occupies a small triangle of land where a noble granite cenotaph stands as a memorial to Vancouverites who lost their lives in the First World War.

A nice, small park. Although it felt kinda depressing there. Maybe it's because of the weather or there weren't many people. Nevertheless, a nice, quiet spot to spend some time alone
Beautiful Quiet Clean Little Park. Great Place To Bring Your Kids Of All Ages. There's A Jungle Gym, Swing Set And A Couple Of Sandboxes. There's Smaller Play Structures For Younger Children. They Have Walkways For Entering And Exiting. They Hold Events On The Park For Remembrance Day. There's Garbage Bins Available On Site And Bus Stops Aren't Far From Here Either.
I love this park for its waterfront trail, its beach and most importantly, it is one of the best spots in Mississauga to enjoy a spectacular sunrise. There is plenty of parking across multiple connected lots and the trail even connects to Rattray Marsh.

If you love nature and wish to spend some time by yourself or hangout with friends or family.
This place is a delight.
Any time of the day, it's as charming as ever.
The jack darking memorial park is very beautiful with lots of scenic views all over the place. It’s having a special unleashed area for dogs and multiple trails are connected, there is water mash area to save the wet land. The trails are good to walk.
Great park for leisure walk and for kids to play. Also has a great view of the lake and Toronto downtown. Their walk trial is scenic and refreshing

Trash everywhere, used to be a nice park but now its a garbage dump. You can't go 10 feet without finding litter. Lots of idiots not picking up after themselves, but ultimately its the city's responsibility to make sure the park is clean and they're coming up short. Get a tetanus shot before you come. I'll never come back.
Good place for a day picnic with family and friends. Kids love this place. Lots of place to play and run around. Clean and maintained. Lots of outdoor activities and fun. Plenty of free parking. Busy place. Safe and secured.
Very busy public park! We enjoyed the green space and access to the water. Free parking and clean bathrooms made it stand out compared to somewhat similar parks (ie Spencer Smith park). The playground and splash pad were quite basic despite the space clearly being a family destination. So many birthday parties and family gatherings going on. Definitely not a park to go to in the peak season if you want a tranquil, quiet park.

You can sit on the hillside and overlook the cityscape, or take a leisurely stroll along the trail, which will give you a sense of wide-open vistas and tranquility. Occasionally, there are even weddings held here.
I had the most wonderful experience visiting the beautiful park!

The lush greenery and well-maintained pathways made for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The serene atmosphere and the chirping of birds created a tranquil ambiance that allowed me to unwind and reconnect with nature.

I love walking through this beautiful park. Lovely scenery from just about any direction. Oh if you need the washroom, thankfully there is some there. Alot of interesting characters there too, and cute pets. If you are looking for a beautiful place to have your lunch break or just to come and hang out this is the park providing you are near by.
Very well maintained. Perfect for babies starting 10 months old. Many toys. Clean and well-maintained

Like many places in the city you should be cautious but a little moreso in this area. Bad people with bad dogs - drug use and the disregarded paraphernalia - it does receive daily cleaning and has calm moments and of course the yearly remeberance day gathering
My boyfriend and I came to Jack Darling Park and did some paddling last week. It is very clean and family oriented place. If you are looking for a nice family get together and have some barbecue going on it’s perfect spot for you. Also, big playground a water sprinkler spot for kids as well. Two separate beach sections. Even if you get hungry there’s a nice lady with clean hot dog stand! Also ice cream man comes around too… this park has everything! It is very big and has different areas kinda little bit for everyone.

Please note: If you are coming on weekends come really early to get your parking spot. Park is huge and has 3-4 different lots but they all get filled fast to the point where people park on the Main Street. It gets crazy… or if you have truck come with one so you can park on grass..
Jack Darling Park is an absolute gem in Mississauga! 🌳🏖️ It's a stunning waterfront park with picturesque views, walking trails, and a beautiful sandy beach. Whether you want to go for a leisurely stroll, have a picnic, or soak up the sun on the beach, this park has it all. It's the perfect place to unwind and connect with nature. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture the breathtaking views! 📸🌅

There are lot of events happening today. Mesmerising music events !!. Many families are spending their week end. We can taste delicious food items here. There is a beautiful sand sculpture too.
Very nice place for a picnic. There is plenty of green area, a great place for kids.
Wish the pathways were lit and paved better, it is gravel. The space is more parking lot than greenspace. The play structure needs to be updated. It is a good location in Streetville and accessible from different avenues. Overall decent.
Beautiful park with a river view. Must visit the place on weekends with friends or family.
The place offers picnic spots with a bbq machine.
Well maintained riverside park , plenty of parking space available. Perfect place to hike along credit view river . This park is gorgeous during all seasons. It’s more crowded during weekends so you may not enjoy the serenity of nature. Best to visit during weekdays.

Nice tourist and picnic spot.
Nice park for family picnics and fun.

The benches we found looked like they’re brand new and it was a very clean park.

A nice little hiking trail to.

The beauty of the snow on the lights is lovely. Kushiro Park is a beautiful and attractive beauty in the evening during the snow season in December. On top of that, they made it very beautiful.
Free parking, good sitting facilities, good for picnic. Good trails on hills

Free parking. Can get busy on weekend evenings on a nice day when people can watch the sunset.

Beautiful park with unreal views of the mountains and the city. There are a few hiking trails leading out from Kushiro Park. Washroom facilities are available beneath the restaurant or at port a potties nearby.
The Riverside Memorial Park is a simple and small community park , designed for the most part for younger kids. There are a few sandboxes, a swing set and also a small play structure designed for very young kids as its pretty small. There are a few benches to sit on also.
Very clean and nice park on the riverside. You can see salmon running upstream but no fishing allowed during the season as it's their spawning grounds. Definitely recommend it to go out with friends, family, and loved ones.

We watch a very wonderful sunset on the beach. The place was really clean and there were some people swimming. However, if you want to take a walk on the pier, I strongly recommend to take a warm clothes with you because there is usually a sea breeze.

This is regarded as Canada's longest pier. The entire area is a tourist's haven with loads of activities and experiences. There is a museum, several bars and restaurants. There's the park where kids can enjoy a splash from the water jets installed. I really had a fun time. Was able to walk just halfway down the pier but the view was fantastic. I do intend to come around on another visit.
Very nice.

Nice views, lots of benches. Great place for a picnic.
Fun fact: this place is named after Burnaby's sister city in Japan called Kushiro!
You can never have enough of these quaint and peaceful little playgrounds. It adds life to the communities and the kids sure have some fun. It’s a nice location this one especially being next to the bigger park and community path. 👍😎
Nice place to go to for a walk, run, or of course visiting passed relatives

June 2022

Visited the place for kids school picnic party. There was plenty of space available as it was working day. The park is nicely maintained and grass is cut properly.

Water level is low in the river and not many ducks. Usually the river has more water and full with ducks. However it is nice place if you planing to spend sometime with kids and enjoy nature.

2021

A nice place to spend time with family and kids. It is nice and serene locality. There is sports field, river, ducks and picnic sports. Good place to visit in summer and amazing experience for kids to see ducks and other birds.
lots of trucks and toys to play with, set of swings and a small play structure and 2 sand pits
Very calming atmosphere though I am concerned the parents of small children are missing the point of the reverence associated with a Cenotaph. Even if the parks are closed for COVID this is not a jungle gym. Give your head a shake!
Cute little park for the kids, lots of shadey trees.

A memorial park up in Burnaby that offers a spectacular view of the Burrard inlet and mountain views. There is free parking and a restaurant. It has some totems, plant sculptues, seasonal flowers and a lovely and very well maintained Rose garden. Great place for taking photos and a stroll!

Kushiro park is central attraction at Burnaby mountain conservation area. It has got beautiful views, totem poles, horizon restaurant, parking, big lush green park, swings and special play area for toddlers. It’s an amazing place for walk, book reading, practising yoga, running and playing with your kids.

Perfect for wee ones. It is a park with a toddler play structure but older children may enjoy it as well. There are both big and baby swings as well as a swing with overhead body bar. Wish there was a fence to make it less stressful as cars zip by pretty fast (too fast) on Queen Mary Street and North River Road. Perhaps one day local residents can make their case for a fence, an older children's structure (2-5 yrs) and / or a splash pad! And even perhaps an exercise station for us adults!
Great little park with a swing for kids with a disability.
