FortWhyte Alive
Reviews

FortWhyte is a place that never disappoints. It is equally fun to go during each season and see how much the landscape changes. Kids can have fun looking for bugs and learning about Manitoban animals.

We just had our sons 3rd birthday here and what a blast for all the kids. It was great for smaller toddlers and kids, as well as older kids and adults. Everyone was entertained. Owen our host was great! Super accommodating and didn’t rush us, although I felt a bit rushed to get food and cake done in the first hour to allow time for the show. If the parties were 2.5-3 hours the timing would be perfect. Next time I book a party I’ll be sure to add an additional hour. The front desk staff was friendly and willing to help, our host Owen, was great as I mentioned, and the animal show was so fun for the kids. We got the loot bags and ordered pizza through Reptilia and everything was ready for us when we arrived. Even the gift shop section was fun to look at and shop for the cutest souvenirs.
All in all a great venue for a kids party, especially if your birthday kid loves reptiles and animals! Super fun!
Thanks Owen and the whole Reptilia Vaughan team!

Great collection of clay and porcelain works. The museum is moderately sized but densely packed - expect to spend a few hours in here if you want to appreciate everything.

My first time and the way people make you feel so safe and included. No one is an outsider or seen like there's something wrong, everyone is extremely nice and welcoming and the councillors make sure to go the extra mile to make it's fun and safe. I'm going every chance I get. You really make a family there

my favorite museum in toronto so far! the ceramic pieces were very delicate with fine details, accompanied by thoughtful explanations / captions. the hallway / staircase featured an exhibition on queer body, with plants, paintings and ceramics, a great addition to the experience. museums cafe and outdoor patio were also delightful.

*review for Gardiner Museum pottery classes*
We were so excited to try pottery classes at the Gardiner as it's really hard to get spots in their drop-in classes. Due to the process, there were a few more costs than just the class fee. You have to attend at least two classes, and after each class, each piece has to be glazed. In total for two people, it cost us $108. This process is described on their website, so we should've read that in more detail.
Our first class was a bit different from expectations. We selected the hand-building option, while another side of the class was learning how to use the wheel. The instructor that day seemed very focused on the wheel students, and gave the rest of us next to no instruction. Nevertheless, it was a fun experience to get familiar with the clay, and the Gardiner is well equipped with everything you need to make pottery. When you're done your class, you can also take a gander at the museum's exhibits.
At our second class where we were painting our pieces, we realized just what we missed out on in our first class. The instructor this time outlined various tools that you could use to roll out a pattern on your pottery, the different molds available that you could use to shape your clay, and was overall more detailed in her instruction for both the hand-building and wheel students. We were already at the painting step so we couldn't go back and refine our pieces, but I wish we had gotten all of this information in the first class. I guess it's a bit of a lottery on the instructor you get.
Unfortunately, when we went to pick up our pieces (now on our third visit), the staff were unable to find our pottery. After some searching in different cabinets, the front desk staff said that it's possible there was some delay in firing our pieces, so the Gardiner would contact us when our pieces were found. After several weeks of radio silence, I emailed the museum again. It was confirmed shortly after that our works were lost. The initial offer we received was a refund of 2 firing fees (aka $10). We were shocked by this suggestion, and after some back-and-forth, only managed to get $54 refunded (half of our total expenses). Though we did still get a valuable experience from the classes, I would think that a museum would empathize with losing one's works. We would've really loved to take home our pieces. Now, we would have to spend another $108 if we wanted to have a tangible output. We don't live super close to the museum, so that won't be worth it for us.
I hope that others are able to have a more positive experience.

I recently visited this place and was completely fascinated by the beauty and serenity that this place offers. From the moment I entered, I perceived a feeling of tranquility that is difficult to find elsewhere. This is a real gem for nature lovers and those who wish to immerse themselves in an environment rich in biodiversity. The variety of plants, trees is extraordinary. I loved how each section is precisely curated, allowing visitors to explore and discover the wonders of global flora. Every corner offers a new educational and visual experience. This is also a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Strategically placed benches offer quiet corners to sit and contemplate your surroundings.
In conclusion, I highly recommend a visit to this place to anyone who wishes to spend time immersed in the beauty and diversity of the plant kingdom. It is an experience that I deeply appreciated and that I will certainly repeat.

Awesome trails and lots of greenery. Good place for watching goose, ducks and other animals and a lot of history. Bison viewing is available. Great place to spend weekends and watch sunset. the museum has a lot of taxidermy stuff of owls, bears, bison, deer, cougar, foxes and so on.
Entry tickets for two is about $21 dollars if you are not a member. It is worth it.

Been wanting to visit the Gardiner Museum because it is right opposite the ROM. Finally visited today, and I was not disappointed. The museum specializes in clay and ceramic works . It has beautiful displays from all over the world both contemporary and ancient. If you want a quiet place to look at art without being overwhelmed then this is the place to visit. Was so lucky to even meet one of the local Canadian artists Silvana Michetti. She took time to explain to me how she makes her pieces. Her art is exquisite! Tickets are $15 for adults but admission is free on Wednesday afternoons from 4pm. And presto card holders get 20% off.
Pro-tip: You can get in for free if you have a reservation at the Clay Restaurant but note that the restaurant is only open from 11am-3pm.

I want to send my kids here but it's very very very expensive.....sigh. Maybe they can sneak on? J/k

Nice beach, great sunsets, lovely trails, excellent cycling park, campsites are large and mostly private, staff was friendly. Got it right with separate trailer fill/dump stations. Should be Ontario Park standard. Comfort station was clean and the oak veneer stall paneling is a nice touch. 😉 Just hate to take away one star for the terrible location of the hydro posts for electrical sites. I understand why they do it. It's more economical. But you'll need 60 feet of cord for most sites.

We went for a birthday party... over all a good place for kids to have fun...
We got the party hall for an hour which we thought was too less for kids to have food and or snacks.
The show was for 30 mins which was quite a fun for kids.

Great people making a difference for sick kids life. Thanks a lot keep it that way!

We spent a weekend camping here. Had the most privacy of any provincial park campsite we've ever been to. Felt like you were alone in the woods. Facilities were clean and well marked. The sunset from the beach was beautiful. The staff we all super friendly and eager to help. Didn't do much in the park as we spent most of the weekend at the grotto, but still a fantastic place.

A beautiful provincial park! A great beach for exploring, as well as great hiking trails that are family friendly. Friendly staff with food visitors centre programming. We saw a lot of cool wildlife to the great joy of my kids!

I went here in 2016, and my sister just came back for our grade 9 trips. It was terrible when I went, and hasn’t gotten any better. The food was disgusting. They are clearly taking advantage of kids by providing them with food that is practically not edible. My sister didn’t eat the food because she was so disgusted, so she came home hungry. A few kids got sick, who knows if it was because of the food or the cleanliness. The gift shop has insanely high prices, $80 for a hoodie. My sister wanted a hoodie but couldn’t justify spending that much money on a hoodie that isn’t even very nice or worth that much. Awful experience.

Beautiful hidden gem. Stunning exterior and even cozier on the inside. Very clean with beautiful lighting and lots to see without it being overwhelming like the ROM or AGO. Staff were absolutely wonderful and very helpful for my first visit. Can’t wait to come back!

Staying at Horseshoe valley and was looking for someplace to eat and have a treat and KOA Barrie came up . The pepperoni pizza and ice cream and butter tart was amazing! There was some picnic tables with umbrellas in the shade to eat. The staff were very friendly and helpful and also let us your around the campsite. Pet friendly, Clean and quiet.

oh wow

The staff were very friendly, which made the experience all the better. The amenities were well kept and clean. The program for children were very interactive and fun. This campground was a gem and will visit again. Just one thing to note is that it is close to the road and you can hear the train horn blasting at night. If you and your family are deep sleepers, it won't be an issue.

Go if you want to be traumatized. My child was going with her friend to fill up a water bottle and one of the staff members heard her friend say I'll tell you later. Assuming they were gonna talk bad. So he told my daughter to get in the cabin and proceeded to yell at her for 20 mins in front of the whole cabin. She had no idea why he was yelling at her and she bursted into tears (she rarely cries) And has unmedicated ADHD and when she started to cry he yelled at her even more and used so much sass. He told her she was going to kicked out of camp and was never allowed to come back. She was shaking in fear. She cried so hard she had problems breathing and cried the rest of the night. When she came home the nest morning she cried for 3 hours straight just telling us the story I am so hurt that a camp like this would do that to my daughter and I am so angry that someone with a higher power could do that to my child. Don't ever go here the staff need to learn some manners.

Loved this spot!
We have camped at many Ontario provincial parks and this has to be one of my favorites!
We went with our friends, combined we had four children and one dog.
Private lots, lots of beautiful water views right by your camping site (we stayed in Nippising), the children's playground overlooks the water and is right beside a beach (dogs allowed on the beach but not in the water), so many trails to hike, a beautiful sunset lookout point, the visitors center had lots for the kids to see/ideas to keep you busy, dog beach where we could let our pups and kids run free together (drove here).
We were spoken to for being loud very late in the night and the park ranger was so respectful and kind about it.
100% would stay here again with dogs and children.

My family and I had a family reunion here with 30+ people this past weekend. We all had a great time and the variety of options for activities kept us entertained all weekend. The well-maintained grounds and cabins with interlocking stones, swing bench, delivery for firewood were pleasant surprises. The staff are friendly and honest. They returned my cell phone and $20 my nephew lost 🙏. Highly recommended.

One of the best Provincial Parks we have been to. Our site (167) was private and level. On the day we were there it was quiet enough although the sites were full of families with young children. The beaches are probably too far for most people to walk carrying stuff, so you'll want to drive, but there is plenty of parking next to the beach. Sunset Point is worth the walk. The best beach is the day use one, which is absolutely delightful on a sunny day, and totally doggie friendly. It also has one of the few comfort stations with light and heat and flushing toilets. This is important because most of the other toilets are vault toilets, only suitable for use in an emergency!!!

Excellent place to experience trail walking and biking. Bison viewing so close to the city is awesome. The animals and arts in the museum are so lively. The flooding boardwalk trail is so nice.

My son spent two separate weeks at Camp Kwasind this summer. He and I were incredibly impressed with the staff and facilities at the camp. He can't wait to go back next summer. Thank you for offering such a fantastic program!

This was our first stay at a KOA and will definitely return! There was an issue with the water well during our stay but KOA took care of it as swiftly as possible, from what we could tell.
Our child was very disappointed that the jumping pad was broken.
The saltwater pools are great and it was nice to see midweek activities instead of just weekends.
Our site was quite sandy and directly beside the bball court, which was an evening teen hangout - would recommend installing some kind of barrier or an early eve time limit, as the ball bouncing and kids yelling and screaming was quite disruptive to our dinner / bedtime for our young child.
Not the place to go if you’re looking for private campsites. But the full service was a nice treat - they deliver ice, firewood and even food right to your site. And pick up garbage daily. Staff were excellent and amenities were clean and ample. Great value for your money.

I loved seeing the Bison!
The trail was nice, easy and accesible. The trail provided nice information about bison and the indigenous people.

The KOA park in Barrie was wonderful. We were able to take a swim in the pool take a walk with our dog order a pizza from their restaurant. The pizza was delicious. The fudge was yummy looking and smelled wonderful and you could get ice cream if you want to, we didn’t. we would return it was a great experience.

Kids have gone here 5 years in a row - fantastic kids camp in a beautiful setting with loads of activities! Only negative is that since covid, kids cannot select activities they want anymore - they are given pre-set itinerary selected for them.

Went on the north side of the trail(close to Sterling Lyon Parkway) and it’s a pretty solid trail. Seems like it’s mainly used for bikes since that’s all I saw but it’s a good walking trail too. Didn’t visit the rest of FortWhyte Alive but definitely will in the future.

This was the closest KOA to Toronto so we decided to stay a few nights. Check in was simple and easy. There is a gate with a code, however everytime we returned they just opened the gate for us.
As far as amenities, we were happy. The shop was pretty cute and they also had a restaurant. We only got snack type food but they had a restaurant with a small menu. They would even deliver to your site! (Breakfast starts at 9, which isn’t ideal though)
The pool and playground area was really nice and well maintained. There were a ton of scheduled activities however, we didnt do any of them.
The site it self was full hookups. We were on the upper section and had to back in. The ground was all a mix of sand/dirt/grass and was pretty uneven.
My biggest complaint was the noise. I know this is largely dependent on the luck of who our neighbors were, but they were LOUD. It was a large group that shared about 3 sites. Every night they had a fire with singing and chanting. Their fire pit was about 10 feet from our trailer window. There was ZERO courtesy to move to one of the other 2 fire pits they had access too. They also had a dog that was constantly barking.
The only way to drown out the noise was with the AC and/or noise machines.
Overall it was a good experience. We would stay again.

My daughter LOVES this place.

Very cool place! My 17-month-old was a little young for it, but under 2 is free so 👍 The vending machines are kinda pricey for what they are, so eat before so you don’t have to snack. The whole thing took us about an hour to walk through.

Camp Kwasind allows children to gain positive development in self-confidence, social integration/long lasting friendships, nature appreciation and increased emotional intelligence skills. It allowed my son an opportunity to 'flex' and build that self-confidence he is going to need in life. I can't give enough stars in this review. Truly an opportunity of a lifetime for my son he is counting down the days to return!

Walk by this all the time to go to the ROM and didn't even know it existed until yesterday. It was a great experience to learn about all the pottery and clay and all the history. Good for a visit. I was reading all the banners and descriptions finding myself lost in history. I even learned something new about bone China. Will definitely return to do some pottery, that looks fun too! Yes and bring your presto card.

My son went as an only foreigner. He was well treated. He was integrated. He had a great time and came back with awesome memories. He wants to go back next year .

Staffs are very welcoming. Children made friends and had a lot of fun. We are so happy that our children learn independent and had fun with this good price.

Camp kwasind is and always will be close to my heart my family has been attending camp for decades!! Matt Willkson better know as coach is hands done the most supportive kindest leader and I trust him and camp kwasind with my children year after year 💙 hands down best summer camp ever !!!!

Camp Kwasind was an absolutely Amazing experience for my very shy girl. She made so many friends. She loved the structure of the camp and said that the food was really good. (And she is a very picky eater!!!). This is an Amazing camp and we we will definitely have this in our yearly summer activities.

Fabulous park! The day use beach is beautiful white sand and dog friendly, the campers beaches were all rock and not as nice. We camped in Huron and the site was large, flat, had a lot of privacy, and an older comfort station. We'll come back but probably try to get a site closer to the day use beach as it was the only one that was nice for swimming.

This is the best camp ever! I have been going to the rainbow lake site since I came out the womb. I have been going to the muskoka site since 2018. I go to the bereaved siblings camp, and I am surrounded by other kids who can all relate to each other. There is no way to describe that Camp Feeling!

My son LOVED Kwasind! He had a great time. He came back full and a different kid. He shared many stories with us and most importantly got closer to God! I was surprised to hear those words come out of my child’s mouth! Thank you Kwasind! See you next year! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our kids had a fabulous first-time experience at Camp Kwasind. The enthusiastic staff, great food, amazing activities, and new friends made for a week they won't ever forget. Thank you Camp Kwasind!

Both my children went for the very first time to an overnight camp this year, and out of all the camps this is the one we choose, and I couldn’t be any more happier with the descion we made, the experience they had was incredible. They met a lot of new friends, made aIot of memories that will last them a life time! They can’t stop talking about the time they had at Camp. I would highly recommend Camp Kwasdin.

Had a great time here! Great variety of animals to look at, there are live feedings scheduled throughout the day and hourly theatre shows where you can touch some of their animals. Son was so happy to touch a snake!
Spent about an hour here. Place is clean, staff are friendly and it’s much easier to view the animals than at the zoo.

Excellent park with clean facilities. This is one of the few parks where if you visit once , you will visit again and again. Most of the camp grounds are separated from the other very nicely . The park is pet friendly and you will find many of the campers with their pets. Children will love to play in the play ground and the beaches are also very quite and fun to sun bath

My children like this place. It's a small place, but it's beautiful. We enjoyed it. A giant turtle entering the retail store surprised us. She was so beautiful!! It was worthy!

Had so much fun! Lots of activities to do like kayaking, paddle boats, biking, etc. There’s also a cafe inside and the staffs were really accomodating. This is the perfect getaway within the city.

Had a GREATTTT time! It was our first time and Breanne and Sarah made it phenomenal right from the start!
Got to feed the tortoises, pet some animals, and hold a snake.
Bathrooms were super cool And clean!
The staff was so helpful, knowledgeable and kind, and a pleasure to speak with.
We will definitely be returning!

Went here for many summers as a kid. I went to multiple sleep away camps and this is by far the best! Some of my most inspiring and transformative moments were here at this camp. The community, staff, activities, food, overall culture of camp is 5 star. I cherish the memories I made so many years ago and would e encourage any kids who are able to attend to give it a shot ! Life long friends and memories. Thank you Muskoka woods !

Such a wonderful place for family. Very laid back. There is fishing spots by the boat dock. People are friendly. Very private and driving to the countryside is nice. Lots of scenic greenery view. The closest grocery is Foodland at Coldwater, there are LCBO Tim's and gas station by the 400 exit. Nice area to drive around. We enjoyed the band playing on Canada Day

Visited here in the winter to try out snowshoeing. We rented from them and also brought our own snowshoes. It was fun going on their trails and on the frozen-over ponds and lakes. We even encountered a couple of deer in their forest trail. After snowshoeing we spent time on theit toboggan run. They have large toboggans on-site and these are free to use once you are already in the park. Of course, it's always nice seeing the bison enclosure. They also have a shop, cafe and a small museum.

Amazing Camp for children with Cancer.

The staff, the amenities and the activities are all amazing at this KOA. We had such a great weekend we only wish it could be longer! Everyone was so nice the staff were so helpful and friendly. The activities for the kids were so much fun and there were so many of them! The pools were clean and warm. The only thing that could improve was if they had a couple more umbrellas around the pool as there isn't a lot of shade. We really had a great trip here and we are looking forward to another trip in August. Thanks Barrie KOA!

I loved everything about this museum, came across a tiktok about the Wednesday clay classes. Thankfully we found a spot for it! Had so much fun with my friend. Spent at least 2 hours. If you’re a fan of porcelain and miniatures this place is definitely for you! Our teacher was also very helpful and it was our first time making these.

It is a great place to visit if you are reptile lover and creepy if you hate reptiles. So many reptiles to see. The staff there is very nice and helpful. I have used to facility as well is all theme based and clean. They have show regarding reptiles though I missed to watch that but heard from some friends that it was good too

My daughter and I spent the May long weekend there, and we really. In spite of it being a long weekend it never felt overcrowded. The people we song we're all friendly. And this included a cross-section of cultures. Trails were easy to follow. Most trails were both cyclable as well as walkable. The beaches were clean, in fact the whole park was very clean. The only critique I really had was for the younger staff. I think they forget that while they're on duty, they are being watched by all campers. Goofing around or behaving unprofessionally can be done I a staff area but never in places like the shower areas where campers are waiting to get in. Nor should this be the case in camping areas. Older staff clearly understood this, for example in the store.

Unique and interesting museum right across the ROM! It’s not as big but it features a wide selection of pottery, ceramics, and sculpture from different regions of the world. I really enjoyed the Housewarming exhibit. Definitely worth the visit!

Very relaxing and peaceful Campground. Great families in the area. The owners are approachable and willing to help anytime. Can't wait for this summer to spend it here.😊

One of the best places in Toronto to enjoy the nature with kids and alone.

Went here for a grade 9 team building retreat in Oct. '22. The camp is located on an absolutely incredible property which we often explored during "free time". Better yet, the camp counselors for our group were brilliant, kind, and supportive individuals. Was very sad to leave at the end of my stay. Thanks for a great time y'all!!!

Great spot! Kids had fun seeing all the reptiles. They have shows every hour on the hour and offer behind the scenes tours on the half hour that last about a half hour. My kids had a great time with Owen on the tour who was very helpful and informative. They also have feedings, the day we went (a sat) they were at 1145, 145, 345 and 445. At 145 they fed a rattlesnake. There's a big gift shop and seems like a good set up for birthdays. Lots of parking.

Stay away from this place you cant drink the water or even cook with it. And if you have family on other sites that leave with a bill owing. They try to collect from you and when you dont pay it, they kick you out and accuse you of not paying your bills. Even though i payed my fees without any question for the 2yrs i was there. The hydro charges are just crazy at .32c to .33c kwh when hydro one says .13c to .17c kwh varies due to peak times. Everyone walks around on egg shells cause if you say anything about the park your kicked out. The public washrooms are always locked, unless they have an event going on. These people have the worse business skills i have ever seen.

I was visiting my friend at her trailer and out of nowhere a rude, ignorant woman came up to me, while I sat on my friends deck, and starting yelling at me (literally) about my dog (15 lbs) sleeping OFF LEASH under my chair.
What an absolutely shocking and embarrassing moment in my life as a 42 year old woman.. kindness and respect for a long way.
What a NIGHTMARE.

What a NIGHTMARE.

Went here as a youngling .... Can't believe I didn't have a single friend that I can recall but boy am I crammed with incredible memories of adventures and skills.

We stayed this year there for the first time. (Last year was a day visit with friends) The place is beautiful and clean and very well taken care of. The activities for the families are well planned and so much fun! The facilities are also very clean and taken care of. We had a beautiful pull through site. Great experience and will definitely be back!

My kid went to this camp he was there for 2 weeks and had a great time, hi is definitely going back!

Such a wonderful facility doing excellent work. Giving kids with cancer a camping experience to remember. Please consider making a donation.

Been to a few and can't say enough good things. From friendly, energetic staff that promotes inclusivity with all to the stunning views of Lake Joesph in Muskoka and the stunning peninsula it occupies.
Doesn't have a bowling alley but the friends I made there years ago are still some of the closest I have today.
My kids love it!

We went to cottage with my Mom to celebrate Canada Day.We are excited to experience how to spend our holidays away from home after our busy week at work.We are invited by our friend but unfortunately when the property owner found out that we are more than one family, she kicked us out,she gave us 30 min to pack up our tent, our stuffs and leave the place.I was so depressed when he shouted at Mom “I don’t care leave the place” because my Mom said she was so stressed and she feels her blood pressure is high.I don’t recommend this campground the owner is very rude no consideration even they knew we came from Toronto driving 2hrs then we went home late at night

Very bad experienced in my whole life.First time in 17 yrs we went to cottage invited by our friend we are 3 families and putting our tent already. We drove more than 2hrs then suddenly we kicked out today by the owner because it’s against thier rules.Poor us 3 families left heartbroken on Canada day and back to toronto. They are not considering even we can pay extra but owner didn’t leave in front of the cottage until we left the place. Not recommended better not to buy/rent this cottage they are not human they are animals treating us like animals 😡😡😡

The property owner of this campground are rude and humiliate our host for inviting. The lady owner shout at the top of her lungs and inconsiderate. Do not buy in this campground.

Property owner was rude, they even don't care what you feel as guest visitor if the renter made a mistake, they kicked us out even knowing that we have kids and in the spirit or atmosphere of celebrating Canada Canada Day. Racist!

My son attended the High Park Nature Centre program for youths and he had an absolute blast! Informative and helpful instructors, friendly participants, lots of good outdoors time!

Such an amazing beautiful park in downtown Toronto , can visit all year round.

A great place to meet some friends safely with social distancing while staying out of the rain.

I went here multiple times as a kid. They severely rationed our food and only allowed a single 10 minute shower during the week. Good memories!

So relaxing. Lived in Toronto my whole life and dicided to go for a bike ride and walk through High Park. I saw so much wildlife and nature that I'm not used to seeing. Lakeshore was close enough to go biking too.

A wonderful place to relax or to spend a nice day with the family. A well-developed network of paths and varied views of flora and fauna. A lake, a small animal park and of course

Absolutely amazing. Son has been for 4 years and always looking to get back there next summer, now he's staff and love it even more.

Any kid would love this place. Any kid affected by childhood cancer will be able to go to this place because that's exactly what it's for. An incredible camp fitted to every campers needs that will accommodate kids affected by childhood cancer!!!

excellent RESORT for kids....greeted by cheering councillors, burgers and more. a high end place for kids with what seemed like more staff than kids. i felt very comfortable leaving my 13 year old there for one week. welcome show was amazing. expensive...but i see the value. my boy loved the week he spent here...hes already asking to go next year for two weeks.

This place is amazing! I am so fortunate to be a volunteer for such a wonderful organization. The kids that come here are truly amazing and the facility is absolutely incredible. From its accessibility to it's amazing staff there isnt a better place to spend a week at camp!

Visited to shoot a documentary and the camp surprised me with how friendly and nice all the staff were. Kids all seemed to be having a great time and the camp itself had some major renovations keeping it fresh and current.

I was a camper and on staff here in the 1970s and 1980s but I do keep in touch with the current goings on. It is and always has been a great place for young people to grow and develop in a wonderful natural setting.

High Park is a true treasure. The skating rink is great, hockey and leisure skate areas. The playgrounds are fantastic, the zoo is great and the food is cheap and delicious. I could spend days strolling around exploring and enjoying the nature and wildlife. Beautiful place.

I worked here in the summer of 2007 as a mountain bike instructor. It was an amazing experience. The food was great! The facilities were truly awesome. My photo's might not still be relevant however might be a throw back for others.

A great place to learn leadership and have fun at the same time! Must go and give 5 star rating! Awesome place!
