We booked the most amazing trip to the Yukon with Nicola at Finisterra Travel. She made all the arrangements and she was a great source of information as she had done a similar trip the year before. We had so much fun we would definitely do it again.

Had the joy to work with Paul and team during our time in Vancouver this past summer for a private bike tour. If you have the opportunity to book with Into The Wild - you're in the best of hands. Top notch service and an unforgettable experience!!

What a wonderful tour we had with this lady. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Love the way she sprinkled personal family history and stories. Two hours went by very fast! If you wish to learn the history and architecture of the city I would recommend taking this tour.

Recently, we went on a ski trip to Manning Park, provided by Into the Wild, as a group of over 30 university students. It was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our tour guide, Paul, with his easy-going and friendly disposition, instantly put everyone at ease. He was also very easy to talk to, and any last-minute changes were not a problem at all. Despite the size of our group, Paul effortlessly managed to create a warm and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring that each participant felt valued and looked after throughout the journey. Whether it was providing guidance on the slopes or offering assistance with equipment, Paul was always there to help. Highly recommend their services to anyone seeking a top-notch travel adventure! Our ski trip was an unforgettable adventure filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a cherished memories for all of us. Thank you Paul :)

Our GAA Club organized a club ski trip through Paul and his service was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped onto the bus en route to Sun Peaks to the moment we landed home back in Vancouver, it was brilliant. If anyone is looking to organize a trip, Paul is your best option.

Our football team recently had the pleasure of going on a weekend ski/snowboard tour to Sun Peaks, led by the exceptional guide, Paul, from "Into the Wild." The entire experience was nothing short of incredible, and I feel compelled to share my positive experience with others.
From the outset, Paul showcased an unparalleled level of knowledge and professionalism throughout the tour. His expertise in guiding us through the ski tour, along with his attention to detail, made the entire trip seamless and enjoyable.
What truly sets "Into the Wild" apart is not just their ability to check all the boxes on paper for their professional competence, but the personal touches and geniune passion that they bring to the experience. It's evident that they go above and beyond to ensure every participant has an amazing time.
If you're seeking an adventure with a touch of excellence, knowledge, and passion, look no further than Into the Wild. They've truly set the bar high, and I can't recommend them enough.
Thank you Into the Wild for an unforgettable weekend!

Wonderful, wonderful surf trip to El Salvador with Finisterra! Every detail taken care of. We were super well looked after and had a terrific in-country experience. The Finisterra folks are knowledgeable, organized and FUN. This was my second trip with them and I will not hesitate to travel with them again!

These beautiful women coordinate amazing trips to gorgeous places! I recently participated in an all-women surf and yoga retreat in El Salvador and it was such an amazing experience. I felt supported, safe, and most of all, I had a BLAST!! I plan to travel with Finisterra again in the future.

We really enjoyed this walking tour around old Quebec. Our tour guide, Francis, took us on a historical journal that covered almost 300 years filled with interesting stories. We liked Quebec but after the tour we fell deeply in love with it! Thank you!

The El Salvador Surf Camp was absolutely amazing! The whole process was easy, reliable, and seamless. Keri & Nicole are great communicators and answered all my pre-trip questions fast and thoroughly. They even recommended a ton of helpful info as we went a few days ahead of the camp. As for the camp itself, it is perfect. The rooms were lovely and big, the resort was beautiful, and the beach was so perfect. It was practically empty and the waves were perfect for beginners. The instructors were so helpful and the food was great. I HIGHLY recommend this experience, it's perfect for solo travelers, beginner surfers, and anyone looking for a great travel experience.

The surf and yoga trip in Panama was my second with Finisterra, and it was just as amazing as the first. The differences in the trips (the other was to El Salvador) created unique experiences in each country, but the organization, surf instruction, and overall schedule that was planned, including the excursions translated to an absolutely perfect week. In addition, the other women on the trip were wonderful. They were welcoming, engaging, and strong! And Tiff and Ava were top notch. It was the best way to spend my milestone birthday and I would do it again in a heartbeat. We missed you Keri, but thank you for putting you heart and soul into such a fun experience! xxx

It was our first time in Quebec! The walking tour was enjoyable even during winter (but do dress warmly including wearing mittens and touque)! Christian was a fantastic guide who had so much knowledge and passion about Quebec’s history & culture to share. He makes learning interesting, funny and not boring at all. We learnt about the architecture, political history, and even places to dine at / visit! Highly recommend the walking tour to better appreciate Quebec!

My wife and I are avid cyclists and have done over 25 trips across Europe, North America and Chile. We did our first trip with Randonnee (Great Explorations sister company for self guided trips) many years ago, and most recently did their Classic group trip in Turkey. We are hooked ! Their attention to detail, amazing routes, great accommodation and unrelenting focus on customer satisfaction is outstanding. What fabulous experiences, excellent value and great people ! We can’t recommend them more highly, and have already reserved our trips for 2024 😀.

This company is truly amazing. My husband and I went on a trip with them 20 years ago for our honeymoon. We finally were able to go on another bike trip for our 20th anniversary. Best vacations we ever had. Our friends who are not bikers came with us and had an amazing time. The hotels are amazing with most having pools to swim in after riding, meals are yummy. Plan to go again soon.

OH MY! I wanted to travel and bike to a totally foreign culture where religion, people, food, livelihood, and geography would expand my perspectives on the world and the Great Explorations biking trip to Morocco delivered BIG TIME! The biggest souvenir was the people - in the midst of the aftermath of an earthquake ALL of the people were kind, friendly, welcoming, inclusive and SO grateful that we came on our adventure (so many are dependent on tourism). I now know SO MUCH about Islam (Sunni and Shiites), North African and Moroccan history, and how there are many ways to make a living and connect with others in this world, all while biking the backroads of Moroccan deserts, mountains, high plateaus and coasts. It wouldn't have happened without the amazing work of our guides to connect us with knowledgable and stellar guides (history, culinary, Berber lunch...). Also, the attention the guides paid to our comfort and fit on our rented bicycles was constant and paid off.
And our guide performed magic card tricks! Did I mention that I so wanted to learn how to play Moroccan castannettes - and they got me a personalized lesson! It took me a while to get used to the A+ accommodations but I survived all of the tea, gourmet cuisine and swimming pools without too much guilt. Next bike trip - I'm going with Great Explorations.
Thank You. Molly

My husband and I have enjoyed two self guided hiking trips with Randonnée in the last two years, one in the Dordogne Valley of France and then, this September, in Ireland. From start to finish, both trips were well organized and thought out with clear route instructions ( both print and electronic) and helpful area managers and guides to keep us on track! The accommodations are definitely a reason we used Randonnée a second time: every spot we have stayed has been awesome - charming, and authentic. Our biggest shout out goes to the Randonnée staff who are always available to answer your questions while preparing for the trip.
We would definitely use Randonnée again.
We would definitely use Randonnée again.

Our tour around the center of Quebec was impressively well done by Marie Blais. We even went back to admire the paintings in the Ursuline chapel because she recommended it.

This has been the most exciting, authentic and magnificent trip of my life. Every detail of the trip has been very well-thought and taken into consideration. We had the kindest, most helpful and sweet driver for our trip, hotels -one more authentic and beautiful then the others. Places we visited were gorgeous. Tours were greatly organized. Thank you Finisterra team, we will recommend you to everyone.

Great experience on the Zodiac. Our guide was experienced and knowledgeable without being overly pontificating or entertaining. He let us enjoy being out on the water in the solitude and the excitement of seeing the whales, which we did. This was an adventure everyone should experience at least once in a lifetime.

Where to start... we did the 2 pm watch, which had 12 people but plenty of room on the boat. We saw bald eagles, seals, porpoises, and, of course, whales. Brandon was our captain and did a great job. They provide you with the safety suit to wear. The boat ride was worth the money we spent. The whales were the icing for us.

This is an excellent park, we were walking around here and about to go into a house when we realised we had to pay! There is a fee to explore this area but it’s a small fee which gives you a lot to look at. There is a lot of places to see and to learn if you are into this sort of history. We loved the views of the city from the different areas above.

We did a package trip for Sydney, Melbourne & Cairns with Brisbane added on in October 2022. The price was very good and the initial support was good, but there were more hiccups than one would have expected.
For arrival in Sydney the hotel shuttle instructions were explicit noting the transport companies desk would be just outside the customs exit. We searched the whole area without finding it. In the area where the desk was supposed to be there was an Airport Information desk and the gentleman there said there had been no desk for that company in over two years since Covid but he was very helpful and called the transfer company who directed us to a bus loading area. A mini bus did arrive with a different company name but the driver said they did contract for the company we had and agreed to take us even though we were not on his list.
For our included tour the next day no one showed up and when we finally contacted that tour company they said the tour was booked for the following day even though our Downunder Itinerary had us on the day we showed up. We were able to contact our Downunder Agent in Calgary who confirmed the booking we had was correct and the local tour company had the dates mixed up and offered the tour for the following day but our schedule was full, we did get a $75 refund for the two spots on the tour (that seems to be low). We also mentioned the issue of the inaccurate direction for the airport shuttle in Sydney to our agent who did not seemed concerned about it.
Our airport shuttle pick up at our Brisbane hotel was scheduled for only 2 hrs prior to our international flight home and when we asked the travel agent about this she indicated this was the recommendation of the shuttle company and we could contact them if we were concerned. We did change our pick up time to more than 3 hrs prior to our flight and found out the shuttle was originally booked as a domestic flight instead of an international flight.
In general the pick ups for tours booked through Downunder were late whereas tours we booked ourselves though Get Your Guide were all on time if not a little early.
I would recommend Downunder Travel if you are basing a decision on price and are prepared to deal with most of the onsite logistics on your own.

No worries. That’s what you have to look forward to when you book a trip with Jason and his team at Downunder Travel. Our family of four took a once-in-a-lifetime trip for almost six weeks to Australia and New Zealand and not only did Jason (patiently!) personalize a tour that took our young boys’ and my husband’s and my interests and tastes and budget in mind, but he recommended some truly memorable experiences I would never have chosen on my own. There were many gems in both countries that we will forever look back on fondly.
We stayed in 11 locations and airport transfers eliminated the normal stress of getting to and from the airport. His teams on the ground in Australia and New Zealand were contactable 24/7 and it gave me great comfort to be able to rely on them to take care of any contingency when needed. Thank you again Jason for creating such an absolutely special and unforgettable trip for us!

My wife & I visited B.C from Ireland for 3 weeks in July’23. Paul, from ‘IntotheWild’ arranged a bespoke 5 day, self-guided, bike-packing trip on Vancouver Island, followed by a road trip (via rental car) through the Rockies to Calgary. This was a bucket list holiday and no stone was left unturned to ensure we had a fantastic trip. He supplied us top of the range Norco gravel bikes, bike bags & essential kit for the Vancouver Island trip. We kept these gravel bikes to the end of the road trip. The overall planning, expert advice (& encouragement), daily bike routings, variety of accommodation (Hotels, B&B’s, Hiker Huts etc.), recommendations for eateries & bars, hikes & trail rides were faultless. Throughout, Paul stayed in touch, ensuring all was well and we had a blast ! Paul’s enthusiasm and shared excitement for our adventure was infectious and this trip (and Paul) will live long in our memory. Gearoid & Mary

My tour of Quebec with Marie as our guide was truly an enlightening experience. She possesses a deep and impressive knowledge of the local culture, religion, history, and daily life of the region, making her narrative both captivating and educational.
Throughout the tour, Marie intertwined historical facts with interesting anecdotes and personal experiences, offering a holistic view of Quebec. It was evident that she has a genuine passion for sharing her city's rich heritage and its multifaceted stories.
What stood out to me was her ability to weave religion and its influence on the culture and architecture of Quebec. I came away with a newfound appreciation for the intricate tapestry that is Quebec's history, and how it has shaped the province's modern identity.
And as a delightful finishing touch, Marie handed out little cards at the end of our tour that listed nearby restaurants and local highlights. This thoughtful gesture showed her dedication to ensuring visitors have the best experience possible in Quebec, even beyond the confines of the tour.
I highly recommend Marie for anyone wishing to delve deeper into the soul of Quebec. She is not just a tour guide, but a storyteller, a historian, and a proud representative of her beautiful city.

My name is Cara and I am 10 years old. My family and I went on a wonderful adventure with Paul from Into the wild. We had an absolute blast. I loved every moment of it, especially hiking through Lynn Canyon Park and the bike ride over Lions gate bridge into Stanley Park. What really made this day amazing was that Paul was so kind and nice to me. He encouraged me when it got tough. Kept us all smiling throughout the day. And we learned a lot about the history and culture of Vancouver. Such a fun experience highly recommend into the wild for a family fun adventure. I will never forget this Amazing day.

A superb tour that is an ideal way to start your visit to Quebec City. Fabulous guide who knew so much about the history of the area and had relatives who were part of it. Did some quieter parts of town along with the most popular places. Tour was 2.5 hours long and did the old town of Quebec. Fascinating history and architecture.

The walking tour of Gastown was fantastic! I have been on several free walking tours of cities around the world, and this one was by far the best. Alasdair gave a fascinating, informative, and engaging tour with a excellent mix of history and contemporary dynamics in the city. Highly recommend this tour for both visitors and locals to get to know Vancouver more deeply.

Chelsea did an amazing job of planning a trip for me and my partner that suited our needs and goals. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She responded promptly to any of my questions. All of the bookings she made for us worked out well and the whole itinerary flowed flawlessly. I knew nothing about how to plan a trip to Australia and relied on Chelsea's good advice, expertise, and judgement. Thank you!

If anyone wants to go Whale watching, I highly recommend doing it by Zodiac boat and this company offered it and decided to try it out. We dressed in floatation suits to keep warm and safe and even though it was a hot day, out there, the winds were cold and kept us warm. Had 9 people, 10 including the captain which was good. Everyone is close to each other so if someone isn't into that, this boat ride isn't for you. The boat was super fast getting which was exhilarating and fun, but felt safe. The captain told us tidbits of the marine life, the islands, and other general information. He answered all the questions we had. There were other bigger boats but the zodiac easily and quickly maneuvered to spots. Saw harbour seals, purposes, and mink whales. Unforgettable experience and thank you to the captain that kept us all safe and having a great time.

“Happy Days!” That’s the expression you will hear from Paul time and time again! And it’s true. I just came back from doing my 4th cycling trip with Paul and I can’t wait to plan my next adventure with him. You will likely never meet a nicer fellow. Must be that Irish charm! So professional, fantastic bikes, fantastic tunes in the vehicle, always the best restaurants and treats you so well. Always gives you options and always makes every adventure so fun. I highly recommend planning any type of adventure with Paul, whether it be one of his cycling trips or any other adventure he offers. And I’m not just writing this review because he promised me a custom Into the Wild jersey!!! Thanks Paul for everything!!

Our guide, Helene, was excellent -- energetic, passionate and she knew what she was talking about. The tour did not touch on the original people of the land or in their relationships with the settlers. This is a significant missing piece not only because it is integral to the story, but we can't keep ignoring the indigenous people. Otherwise I learned a lot and enjoyed the walking tour.

Just got back from a 5 day bike trip thru the Okanagan Valley. 250km over 5 days and I'm not a cyclist. We cycled on mountains, tunnels, thru wineries oh my!There were 9 of us in total plus Paul, the tour operator. We ranged in age from our mid 40's to mid 60's. I loved this trip. The people were great. The atmosphere was great. Paul was a great leader. Generous. Easy to get along with. We had alot of laughs. My wife and I are planning to do another trip with Paul next year! Maybe Victoria Island!

4 of us completed the 8 day Normandy bike trip and were thrilled with every aspect of the tour. Randonnee prepared us before the trip with detailed itineraries, preparation suggestions and route maps to download so there was no need to use data. The accomodations were diverse and lovely, and in perfect locations to explore our surroundings. The Normandy area is filled with WW1 & WW 2 history and the route we followed covered so many highlights. The bikes were great for all of us, 2 ebikes and 2 hybrids to meet our needs. We would certainly choose Randonnee again for a cycle trip.

A must do experience if visiting Quebec City. We loved interacting with the historical character actors and even had tea with the British commander's wife. Great value and a lovely memory.

5 gold stars for Down Under Travel!
The customer service, industry knowledge and travel recommendations provided by Jason and his team made our vacation to Australia very memorable and stress free! Jason's team took care of mine and my husband’s, my in-laws, and my sisters itineraries travelling between Canada and Australia.
For the in-laws, he took care of everything including flights, airport transfers, hotels, and excursions. My family were so appreciative to the attention to detail Jason provided when thoughtfully planning their trip based on their age, lifestyle, and desired travel experiences. They thoroughly enjoyed all the activities Jason booked them and their accommodations were in great locations! In addition, the price offered by Down Under Travel was very competitive to what they found online.
Monica assisted my sister and her friend with their flights to Canada, she also provided them with information about moving to Canada on a working visa and border security requirements. She also got their medical insurance booked at a more competitive price then they could find themselves.
Jason provided me with amazing service when I was stuck in a pinch with lost travel documents. I called the Down Under Travel emergency phone from the airport check-in, Jason took care of my flight credit in minutes allowing me to focus my attention on completing the necessary paperwork for emergency travel. When I was approved to travel again, he helped me book my flights at 7.30am MT and got me on the most affordable flight leaving in just a couple hours’ time from making the booking!
As an Aussie who has been living abroad for 10+ years, I have travelled to and from Australia many, many times. Pre-covid, I always booked my flights online without a travel agent as I thought I would be getting a better deal. When travelling during the pandemic, I decided to use an agent due to travel requirements being so complex. Since then, Down Under Travel continues to prove me wrong, they’ve always found a better flight path at a more affordable price than I have been able to find online. In addition, the knowledge and service they provide make for a very relaxing journey! I’ll forever be booking my travel with Down Under travel, we’ve had great experiences every time and have had the pleasure to work with Jason, Monica, and Sawyer. Thank you!

Jason did a great job in setting up our itinerary for a New Zealand vacation. Our vacation was everything that we wanted. As we travelled shortly after Cyclone Gabriel we had some concerns but Jason and his local contacts in New Zealand kept an eye on things and even suggested a slight change for us to ensure the cyclone damage wouldn’t impact us. We felt reassured having the local contact. I would highly recommend Jason’s services for anyone planning a trip to the areas that Downunder Travel specializes in.

We recently had Jason arrange a trip to Fiji for us. Everything ran like clockwork (even though we were on Fiji time 😀).
Once we told Jason the type of holiday we were looking for, he managed to ensure all our needs were met.
We highly recommend Downunder Travel, and would use them again.

Appreciated the Vancouver Winter Mural Festival tour on a chilly damp evening. The guide showed the key locations for the festival but also included other less known but great artwork such as the Susan Point stained glass windows at Christ Church Cathedral with the funders dog included (visible from outside and inside).

This year I took my second trip with Finisterra Travel (El Salvador Surf and Yoga with Sherry Ott) and once again, it exceeded my expectations. Keri and the Surf Sister crew ensure that each day is a FUN learning experience in and out of the water. And having sunrise and sunset yoga sessions prepares the body for a day of surfing and then rewards it for a day of hard work. The sisterhood that is built through the week fills my heart with happy. We cheer each other on and laugh way too much! And my love for El Salvador - the people, the beaches, the volcanoes, the coffee, the food, the cows(!) - continues to flourish. Finisterra Travel creates true escapes from the real world where you will experience amazing places, activities, people and cultures. Will I be returning next year? Yes, I will!

The El Salvador surf and yoga retreat planned by Finisterra with Surf Sister was absolutely amazing! Keri did such a fantastic job planning an incredible and super well-organized trip with great local stops and so much wonderful surfing and yoga. Highly recommend for your next adventure!!

We have just returned from a 6 week vacation throughout Australia .Jason from Downunder Travel organized an extremely detailed itinerary for us.

Once again Jason did a terrific jog at organizing and booking our three week anniversary vacation in Australia. No problems, no issues the work by Jason was flawless. Jason was good enough to speak to his contact for the Indian Pacific and they announced our wedding anniversary during supper and supplied us with a cake and presents during our meal. Both Eileen and I were extremely happy with our vacation thanks to the hard work by Jason at Down Under Travel

We had an amazing trip to Croatia! We rode our bikes across Korčula, Hvar and Brač. The crew were very helpful, and all hotels were nice! I highly recommend this adventure!

Had a very enjoyable and insightful mural walking tour of Mount Pleasant with wonderful guide Jayne! She was very knowledgeable about each of the murals we’d viewed, along with the back stories of the artists, their visions and methods for crafting their art, as well as how the art ties in with the local culture and society of the time.
I’ve been a resident of Mount Pleasant/Olympic Village and hadn’t even seen most of the murals Jayne showed us - I was pleasantly surprised and amazed at all the street art we *don’t* see along the main streets!
Highly recommend, 5 stars!

We absolutely loved this historical tour of Quebec! Our tour guide, Carole, was the most upbeat, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide we’ve ever had. She made us feel like we were transported into the late 1800s Quebec. We so enjoyed our 2 1/2 hour tour (she gave us an extra half hour). Highly recommend!

What a blast! Serendipitously we experienced so much in our time out on the water. Beautiful weather, fun stories, and the Bay of Fundy teeming with marine life! Everyone we met here was friendly and kind. The whales, porpoise, seals and eagles were incredible to see from our speedy zodiac. We even had an intimate moment with two Minke whales. Highly recommend, in fact a trip to the East coast is incomplete without a whale watching trip, and Fundy Tide Runners is my top choice!

Great Explorations is excellent at considering all details when planning guided trips; to ensure the very best experience for their customers! We cycled through Slovenia into Italy and LOVED it. Our guide was absolutely the best, the bikes were in very good condition, the places we stayed were wonderful, and the scenery was breathtaking. We highly recommend!

We completed our 3rd and 4th trips with Great Explorations this summer. The first trip was to France with our family. What a great trip! The guides were excellent and knowledgeable; the bike rides well thought out and sometimes very challenging. We enjoyed every hotel and all the meals were delicious. The hotels are always unique and we looked forward to seeing what our next stop would bring. Our favorite lunch was a picnic lunch next to a stream. The guides had quite a spread with fresh figs, meat, cheese and wine. We were able to cool down in the stream, and continue our ride after lunch. These bike trips are our family's favorite trips. It's the whole package: great guides, wonderful hotels and fabulous food.
Our second trip was a trip to Sweden and Denmark. We have never been to this part of the world before and enjoyed the scenery, friendly people and relaxing rides. It was just the two of us on this trip. Each hotel was unique and different; and the food, of course, delicious. We had one of the same guides, who was very knowledgeable about the area and we enjoyed all the trails and bike paths throughout the area. We didn't have a van on trip but it was no problem at all. We would definitely recommend Great Explorations. We have had four exceptional trips with them and look forward to more in the future.

Amazing tour of the bay of Fundy, seen some whales and sea lions !! Our captain was very knowledgeable about the different species. we also got to see some of the fisheries around the area , which our captain stopped to educate us about. It was an amazing experience!

I could not say enough great things about the team at Fundy Tide Runners. We walked in to ask about times and they told me the only room they had today was on a boat leaving in 15 minutes. We had the dog with us so I was contemplating whether or not I had time to run her back to the hotel and get on the boat.
They offered to watch her while we went on the tour and had a Bernese of their own. Honestly couldn’t think of better customer service. (I don’t leave the dog anywhere but could tell she was in good care)
We saw a lot of harbour porpoise and some larger whales, two bald eagle nests and a ton of beautiful shoreline/wild life.
If you’re planning to do a whale watching tour and want a smaller, more intimate experience then look no further. The zodiac was also very stable, no need for a bit ship to keep the kids safe. You can still get on a smaller vessel and have a great, safe experience.

Had a great time here, only 8.5 bucks for an adult pass. Very interesting historical landmarks, impressive scale models, and cool preserved artifacts. The on-site guides and actors were fun and informative, with a bunch of great anecdotes and also local recommendations!

i have done many cycle trips ( pre pandemic ) and I started with Great Explorations and did several trips with them that I loved. Since then I tried several other companies, TREK, EXPERIENCE PLUS, CYCLISMO. and all of these companies were good and had their own things that they were good at. But now that I have tried all of those I am back with Robin and Great Explorations. I find that the hotels are a little bit more intimate, the chosen restaurants are a bit off the beaten path, and their relationships with the locals are authentic and heartfelt. I would recommend them to any level of cyclist and food lover. I am glad I am returning to Great Explorations. I think there is a value there that I appreciate.

We just had such a wonderful experience cycling the Camino de Santiago!! This was more then a cycling trip, it was a pilgrimage that was restorative. The people, food, accommodation, Spain - all of it was more then we had hoped for and we were hoping high. So many stories and memories that will be ours for a very long time.

Great tour, fun boat, beautiful experience. Great captain and the booking was smooth and pleasant. It's not just about whales; sure, we saw a few Minkes, but It's really more of a wildlife ocean safari on Passamaquody / Fundy Bay. We saw all sorts of wildlife, tuna, seals, porpoises, birds & fish etc. Thanks for the great time :)

Went to a guided wall mural tour recently that was a part of VMF. Fantastic experience! So many interesting details about murals history and the way they're commissioned. I thought I saw most of murals and yet the tour guide managed to surprise me. Would love to do more tours with them in the future

My partner and I did a Vancouver Mural Festival tour through Mount Pleasant last week and we loved it. Jayne was our tour guide and she was wonderful! We were so impressed with how much knowledge she was able to retain about all of the different artists and murals. Her delivery was great and she made it a lot of fun. Absolutely recommend this tour to everyone! We wish we got to do the other ones as well! Looking forward to next years.

We want on two of the mural tours this year (but have been on others in the past) by this group of highly educated, informative, and friendly group. If you want to increase your experience visiting the city, or just a local wanting to learn more, I highly recommend any of these tours.

We saw Juggle Me Not in the park in 2021. It was absolutely fabulous, bursting with humour and energy. Thanks Axis!

Great experience with Fundy Tide Runners! Knowledgable captain on whales facts and information. Very quick to get to the areas of recently spotted Minke whales. Very good with children and a very welcoming environment and staff. Great energy all around!
The Zodiac boat is a must! It is so smooth and such a fun ride. It's much faster and more agile. Very quick to the areas of Minke whale sightings. I've done whale tours on the west coast on larger boats and I enjoyed the Zodiac WAY more.
Very much enjoyed the puns and dad jokes. We added a few on our tour!
Thank you!
"Seal ya later!"

This little museum and its grounds do not get the attention they deserve, which may be bad for the govt folks that track numbers of visitors, but is good for the weary tourist seeking a quiet place that lacks hordes of tourists. That is just one of its merits, the other for me was that it has so many exhibits showcasing reproduced paintings of how Quebec developed over the centuries. A diorama of the fort is the centerpiece of this endeavor. It becomes obvious, if you were not already aware, of just how much use of the upper town's natural environment in terms of the cliff faces were used to provide a natural defense. And in turn the town and many of its defensive walls grew up around the original fortifications.

We walked here from Lofts Les-Billie, and the kids enjoyed it so much. There was a re-enactment of the war between the French and the British, I believe, the Brits were being “hammered” in the narratives. The crowd loved it, but hey, this is Quebec, they can say what they like, but the French took a whopping from the Brits. The process was light hearted and lots of laughs. There are very good restaurants around the place, with lots of ice cream parlours to me meet every sugar craving taste. I found the prices in the restaurants quiet reasonable, and services fantastic all in all. We ate in a different restaurant and tasted varying ice creams almost every other day on our five day stay.

Very good tour! Honest and blatant about all aspects of the history of Vancouver, even the unpleasant and embarrassing parts, which was refreshing. Erik was knowledgeable and friendly and I felt like I got a crash course on the city in a few hours.

Big park with parking and street parking. There is a lot of construction during my visit (June 29/19) but overall still beautiful. Very historical, big ancient gate with walking house to visit city in town. They have giant wall, recommend to walk on the wall (nice view)

We’ve had a number of great Randonnee Tours trips. We just returned from Spain where we did the Andalucia trip, which we really enjoyed. A highlight was the hotel in Palma Del Rio. It’s a converted monastery, with courtyards, gardens and a marvellous swimming pool. The restaurant is in the old refectory, and you feel like you’ve been taken back in time. They weren’t officially open for lunch when we arrived, but offered us a meal then, and that evening we had a very fine meal - with the room practically to ourselves. They even put a candle on the dessert for the birthday person in our party. Our room was a suite in a corner of the main patio (courtyard).
The town was also a pleasure. Not overrun with tourists, and with only a few must-see historic highlights, it was for us a place to experience something closer to the real Spain than you get in other more famous towns and cities. Our second night we happened on an impromptu guitar concert and singalong in the restaurant we went to for dinner, and when we were walking down the street back to the hotel my wife and I were invited into a birthday party just so everyone could try out their English on us. It was all completely spontaneous, and really hit the heart of why we love to travel.

Viva Inspired Adventures has travelled with Great Explorations to the Gulf Islands, Puglia and most recently, the magical country of Morocco. Each and every time, Great Explorations has exceeded our expectations. Their local connections on each adventure have been second to none; their guides are outstanding and consistently go above and beyond.
Notably, during our recent trip to Morocco safety was initially a concern, but with the Great Explorations team we felt very safe and secure throughout the 10 day trip. In addition, Moroccan cycling is truly spectacular but can be challenging, yet the Great Exploration guides were extremely effective in managing the wide variety of cycling capabilities among our guests.
Viva creates, sells and manages trips for up to 20 women. We take great pride in ensuring our itineraries meet high standards. Our guests expect high caliber adventures; and Robbin and his team do an incredible job of delivering an extraordinary experience. Each and every excursion has been interesting, well thought out and truly unique. We are always thrilled to report back that our guests couldn’t have been happier. We consider Great Explorations to be an invaluable partner in the success of our business.

It's such a pretty and peaceful park. The flowers were beautiful. From the park you could view the Ottawa River and the parliament building as well as the back of a luxury hotel.

Great, small museum, hosted by the Government of Quebec’s Park Services, detailing the history of the fortifications and armaments used to protect the city. Many interactive family events, artifacts, and re-enactment movies in both English and French. The Park Services employees were very helpful and knowledgeable about the history of Quebec and were eager to answer any questions. When visiting Old Quebec City, take a moment and drop by this museum.

I did the 3 free walking tours available during my stay in Vancouver. I cannot recommend them enough! They are funny, whitty and knowledgeable. With more then 10 years of experience and guide from all background, an opera singner, a standup comedian and an history professor (Marla, Emma and Erik were my guide), you are sure to leave with your head over stuff with fun fact and history. They are also not afraid to tell you real fact of black part of Vancouver history.
However, be sure to have the good guide, since an other company also do tour at barely the same starting point and at the same time.
If your asking yourself why you should trust my opinion. I have a tourism degree and guiding was part our classes.

Our self-guided hiking trek through Tuscany was fantastic! Cannot say enough good things about the planning process with Randonnee and the on-the-ground support as well. The accommodations were spectacular, and the route took us through beautiful countryside that we would not have seen on a typical trip. Randonnee is prompt, professional and the value is unsurpassed. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the outdoors, hiking, and seeing the countryside.

We have used Randonnee Tours for six self-guided bike tours in four different European countries over the last 10 years. We have been very pleased with their materials, bikes, and support. Their online information has always matched our experience (no surprises). Overall we have had wonderful trips with Randonnee.

We have had the opportunity to take several cycling trips in various countries with Great Explorations. The company does a wonderful job of arranging for guides who are knowledgeable and personable, and the trips are designed to provide the clients with wonderful cycling routes, unique ways to experience cultures and the country, amazing food, and beautiful places to stay. Some of my favorite traveling memories are from Great Explorations cycling trips, and I hope to add more cycling trips with them to the list in the years to come.

We did our first self guided hike with Randonnee Tours in 1997 and, since then, we have taken Randonnee's walking tours in Italy, France, Nova Scotia, the Czech Republic and, most recently, Spain. On these tours, we have stayed in interesting and charming towns, many of which are not on the normal tourist route. Randonnee's hotel choices consistently have offered us great locations, lovely accommodations and helpful services. The hikes have taken us through farmland, along coastlines, into forests and past castles, villas and towns.
We just completed the 8 day hike in Catalonia. This tour gave us everything we have liked about past Randonnee trips in terms of locations, accommodations and hikes. The coastal scenery was breathtaking - as good as or better than Cinque Terra and without the crowds. Every one of our hotels was outstanding - we enjoyed beautiful, spacious rooms with great views, generous and varied breakfasts and wonderful hospitality. The food throughout Catalonia was some of the best we've ever eaten - we found great restaurants everywhere and the hotel restaurants were especially good. Our visit to Salvador Dali's house near Cadaques was a real highlight. This trip definitely ranks as one of our favorites.
Overall, we feel Randonnee's tours are a good value and have allowed us to visit many places which we would not have found on our own. We are already looking ahead to next year's trip.
