Wow, this was a proper higher end dining experience where every serving was delicious. We went with a group of four based on a recommendation from a long time foodie local and this did not disappoint. We sampled each of our different plates and all were great. The portions were very fair and the presentation was beautiful. Definitely make a reso and leave extra time to find parking. One thing I wished is for a classic a la carte style menu as having multiple courses might be too much for folks with less appetite. Will be back!

This place has one of my favourite interiors out of all the Vancouver "speakeasies". The prices for the cocktails are reasonable for the yaletown area, BUT they are all fantastic. They do have some zero-proof options, but those aren't extensive. The food is alright! Nothing standout, and all the burgers are from Hundy. I would really recommend this place for anyone looking for a cool bar, or just a fun new date night bar!

This is such an elevated atmosphere with exceptional drinks. Unfortunately, the bartender's personality didn't quite fit. He was rude, deafeningly loud, & slammed shaker cups on the bar 2" from every guest's face during service. As someone with plenty of bartending experience, this is completely unnecessary. It destroys the bar & the overall experience.

Went in for happy hour and buck - a- shuck and did not disappoint. First time having food there and it was super good (fries, pasta and bang bang shrimp)!

Had a good experience at the all-you-can-eat Indian place. The vibe was nice, with a wide variety of food. However, I won't be trying it again as the dishes were excessively oily, making me feel full too quickly. Despite this, it's a decent option for those who enjoy a wide selection of Indian cuisine.

I have been to a few board game cafes in the city and FTW had the best vibe by far. The service for food was quick, the staff were friendly, and although it did not have the biggest selection for games - they had everything I was looking for. It was nice to be able to make a reservation even on a weekend. We tried tons of games that we have been meaning to try! Thanks!

This place is truly amazing! The buffet offers a plenty of options, making it absolutely worth the indulgence. From a wide array of starters to delectable desserts, the variety is impressive. A fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend!

The dill pickle wings, the honey garlic wings and the superb service by Alysha is what we keep coming back for. Seriously, THE BEST WINGS EVER!! The Moose rocks!! Keep on keepin' on, guys!

I had a great happy hour experience at locals only! Jasmine went above and beyond to get us cocktail shrimp sauce for our oysters and just performed amazing service! Will definitely be coming back!

Ahhh I love this place so much, can't start telling you just how delicious food here is. Devon was our lovely and attentive server, props to her! There's a lot to choose from and everything is so well crafted, one of Vancouver finest and must try spots. Reservation is encouraged as it gets busy here.

I had been to the Mississauga location a number of years back and I hadn’t thought it was anything special, so I was hesitant to go back but I am so glad I did! We went right at 5 pm for dinner and so everything was super fresh and delicious. The pani puri station is definitely the most popular! I honestly tried so many items and the only thing which wasn’t good was the jello. I have never liked jelabi but it was perfect. I am honestly dreaming of going back soon to try all the things I didn’t. I got a chai and it came out piping hot.

Went here today with my boyfriend, enjoyed buck-a-shuck oysters, and had some wine! The vibe was great, and the service was amazing. Jazz and Fitz were so nice and accommodating! Would also recommend the crunch tacos - Yum!! We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

A fun place to get together with friends during a Sunday afternoon! Food that was ordered was delicious and served with a smile. We will be back! Checkmate Caesar was fire! 😋

I went for a date night on the Saturday night After Hours, it really upset me because there were a good few racist, homophobic, and classist jokes that were not funny and just in poor taste. If you have a conscious, don’t go, and definitely don’t give them $50

Had their Nikkei III menu.
Really cool atmosphere (a bit loud/bar-like), excellent service.
Especially enjoyed the desserts. Found that they were fresh and complex. Their lamb was tender, juicy, fall off the bone.
Not a massive fan of the asparagus sushi (yep, you read that right), but I can understand that they're trying to pull off unlikely flavour combinations.
Overall a good experience. I would come back to experience their brunch menu, which is known to be even better than their great dinner experience!

One of our favorite restaurants in the city and an annual tradition every time we visit our friends in the city.
We have been coming here for years and pleased to say the consistency and quality has always been maintained.
Typically we attend dinner but have had lovely brunch experiences which include delightful mini waffles with an assortment of handmade sauce toppings.
The only downside, which doesn’t get points knocked off merely wistful wishing, is for the return of the veal stuffed calamari, a dish that solidified our love for this restaurant and while we will always return, it truly was a benchmark item we still talk about.

I cannot say enough good things about this place, truly a must do for anyone in the city. Great food, tasty drinks, great prices. The staff really treats you like family, special shout out to Jasmine- she made our girls night amazing! this is my top rec for evening plans! Thanks locals!

I love to bring my wife to this establishment. We both love the atmosphere of the bar. Lots of fun and great food! My favourite is the popcorn chicken! Great selection of beer and the bartenders are fantastic! We have a favourite but will leave it to you to attend and pick your favourite one yourself!!

We have had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful establishment on several occasions and never fail to be delighted. Fantastic food and outstanding staff serving it! The kitchen team have created an amazing selection of foods and we have never been disappointed! The bartenders are among the best - beverages were delicious and served with a finesse like one other!

Really exceptional wait staff.

Tasting menus for brunch which is a great idea and lighter on the wallet with the same level of experience.

Highlights included the chicken/pollo - the Last items from the tasting menu. As well as the ceviche.

Sushi was pretty standard.

Decor is incredible. And includes a second level!

Will be back for drinks.

This cafe offers tasty food, well presented flavorful drinks, and an impressive selection of board games. Everything was very neat and clean. 14.00 per person to play, 10.00 per person if you order something from the menu. Perfect for casual hangouts or game nights with friends.

I don't remember which drinks we ordered as I was too tired the day we visited.

I'm glad I visited the Stock Room though. Everyone loves their cocktails. Poutine and bacon cheeseburger worked as a great compliment to the drinks.

Fantastic service. We had made a small error when we arrived, but the bar manager, server,bartender and the doorman were all eager and willing to help. Just from the fantastic service on new years, I will be making sure to come back :)

One of the best place to have Indian buffet. Lot of food options for everyone. From chaats to desserts, everything is tasty. If you crave for Indian food in GTA then this is the place to visit. Our attendant Utsav made our experience wonderful. They should mention the bottled water prices before as each bottle cost you 6$.

We got the tasting menu for 2 and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Reason for 4 star is really up to personal preference of select dishes that I found to be on the sweeter side (which I normally isn’t a huge fan of) and pricing definitely on the higher side.

Finally got to try this place out and overall it was good. Food and drinks came fairly quickly but there was a brief pause between dishes. The cod is a must and would highly recommend this dish.

Servers were friendly, welcoming and explained the menu quite well and also engaging throughout the evening.

However, not sure how things are stored at coat check because they handed me my coat and my partners scarf and needed a hand and description finding my partners coat and my scarf. Afterward, my partner had realized her lipstick was missing from her coat and used it right before heading into the restaurant, so maybe it fell out in coat check.

Atmosphere was nice and the restaurant itself is quite spacious. Nice art and intriguing decor and design of the overall space.

Is it expensive?… yes. Is it worth it?… absolutely!!! We had a great date night out at Chotto Matte last night. We came by rather late as it was after a Mirvish show around 10:30pm. The place was still buzzing and had great atmosphere though you would never know it from the outside. Food was very very good. Perhaps not the best sushi I’ve had in my life but very good. The stuff coming off the grill was fantastic especially the pollo den miso! Drinks, dessert, and service were on all point and gentleman who served us was very knowledgeable and made great suggestions. Would recommend for a special evening out.

Holy Christ have I been pleasently surprised at the level of comedy, lots of different acts, all of them really funny, and with a good amount of witty crowd work from the host and some of the acts. Truly recommended it, had a great night 😁

This new club is smaller and more intimate than many others which offers for a great show and comics to really play off the crowd and include the whole audience, I had a great time and will definitely be back

I heard mixed opinions about Chotto Matte, primarily driven by the price of the food, however I had an incredible meal that was definitely worth every penny!

Definitely go the tasting menu route. For $95 I had 8 courses, while my friends ordered a la carte and had a fraction of the food for 75% of the price. And yes, they do let some get the tasting menu even if the whole table doesn't participate.

Virtually every dish was a hit, minus the salmon which had a sauce with a weird taste. The chicken dish in particular was one of the best I've ever had! And the churro at the end was to die for as well.

Can't wait to come back!

Won’t be able to add much that hasn’t been said many times. The only thing that I would wish for is some better kid options. Been to many high end restaurants that can whip up something a little kid friendly but not so here. The duck is delicious but obviously their bread and butter is the Muscles. Absolutely intoxicating!!!

Always love spending time at a board game cafe, and especially love it when they offer bubble tea!

I ordered the Cajun fries. I don’t do ketchup, so I asked for mayo instead, but they wanted to charge me $2 for mayo, which I thought was odd, hence the -1 star. But other than that, I would recommend.

This restaurant is good for non vegetarian people because vegetarian options are less. And we feel bloated after having some food because they add soda in the food. But if you are a non vegetarian then i think you have many good options available in this buffet.

I have been trying to go to this restaurant for some time now and glad I finally got to try it out….the interior is what got me first, it has a dark but moody design with beautiful art work throughout the restaurant. The food is Peruvian and Japanese so a very interesting mix but dishes are either Japanese or Peruvian it isn’t a fusion of the two, I don’t eat meat so I had the fish options which were all fresh and yummy, I only had one drink which was nice and dessert was yummy as well the cheesecake was so fluffy and delicious I highly recommend, the staff was friendly and very nice, they have a
Open kitchen so you can see meals being prepared. they had a Dj at the time that I went that was a plus for me. It is a higher price point so bare that in mind but I would definitely go again especially when their patio opens up

Everything was good , everything is amazing but I’m sorry to inform you after eating from here all my friends and I suffered from bad stomach ache and loose motions, this was our second time and still same happened that’s why felt to mention it . Restaurant can improve themselves by reading this . Else we loved the place . Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Perfect ambience.

What a great place! Incredible atmosphere - love the decor/layout - and EXCELLENT cocktails. And of course the food from Hundy never disappoints. Easily one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had.

Great little board game cafe in north York. Admission is discounted if you get a drink or food item which you most likely will. Good selection of games to play and for sale. Staff are knowledgeable about many games. Would recommend if you’re in the area!

Great place to spend an afternoon! Lots of super fun board games and a chill environment to play in. The highlight was definitely the gamesmaster, who provided very detailed and fun explanations, alongside recommendations that I really had fun with. The cafe aspect was a bit average, but the rest of the place made up for it.

Just had the Niwa Brunch and it blew my mind! The free flowing cocktails were a hit, but the food was the star. From inventive sushi rolls to fusion dishes that pop with flavor, every plate was a delightful surprise. The atmosphere's buzzing and perfect for weekends. As a food lover, this is a brunch experience I can't recommend enough.

Went there through Forbidden Tours and loved hearing the history about this building. It has so much rich history and the owner is a hoot!

Went to lunch with friends after they suggested this place. There is a location in Heartland but we visited the Brampton location. From the outside you're not really sure what to expect then you step inside and wow...just wow.

We were greeted right away by the host. The decorations in the front foyer were beautiful and very much in tune with the season of Christmas. This impressed me a lot as many establishments shy away from crossing cultures in their decor.

Ot was also a great spot to take photos of the oversized tree and snow man etc.

We were seated right away and as you walk into the restaurant you are greeted by more amazing decor. Everything was just lush and beautiful. The buffet was laid out very beautifully as well.

We were seated and given a little bit of info by our waitress who explained the process. She also showed us both drink menus, one alcoholic and the other non-alcoholic. She even made suggestions on what to try and she knocked it out of the park with my drink. It was one of the most delicious drinks I've ever had.

The buffet was full of variety. So many dishes to choose from. Some, easily recognizable ie: spring rolls, pizza, French fries etc. And many not so much.

All the dishes were accompanied by a name card which helps but also hinders when you are not familiar with the food/culture. It helps hugely to have someone with you who can explain each dish and some of the ingredients.

Many are self explanatory ie: chicken Tikka, butter chicken etc. But a few required a certain method of assembly that gives you the proper way in which that dish should be enjoyed. Without a guide to show you, you will be lost 😅

All of which brings me to the food. The dishes I did try were very very delicious 😋 everything was well seasoned and the temperature was good. Beautiful and delicious. The chicken Tikka was amazing. The butter chicken melted in my mouth. The Naan was soft and chewy. The paneer, goat curry, chicken curry, biryani(sp) everything was absolutely delicious 😋

The dessert selection was my least favourite part. Lots of flavours of ice cream to choose from however they were all soft and melting. They did not look appealing to eat. It was a busy lunch hour so a lot of the fruits were picked over but there was enough if you want some.

I enjoyed the savoury part of lunch better than the desserts.

The ambiance of the restaurant was great. It's very comfy and cozy. The type of place you could have a date, work luncheon, girls/boys dinner out, family gathering. It's a one size fits all for any type of gathering.

This place boasts an impressive 20+ private dining rooms. I had the opportunity to walk around a bit and it's truly massive. There is also a full bar and take out section in the front.

A gentleman I assume is the front of house manager was very friendly and accommodating when I asked to look around.

Definitely happy I came and a revist goes without saying. Being spoiled by this location I don't know if I want to visit Heartland...lol But, I will give it a chance as well if I don't feel like driving to Brampton.

Absolutely not worth the $20 paid and its really unbelievable that they force you to buy a drink as well. The comedians and host were not funny but if you like cringe this is the place for you.

My brother was visiting me, so i thought of taking him to penthouse as he wanted to check out strip club.
The service had been good but the strippers they were forcing us to pay tips and if you don’t give them tips they would probably tell bouncer and you are been told to leave club or sit on last row. We really had bad experience and not at all recommended. Specially the asian strippers were very arrogant and not at all welcoming and friendly.

I recently had an absolute blast at 3rd Floor Comedy Club! The cozy venue, friendly staff, and amazing comedians made it a night to remember.

The food itself in terms of quality and taste were pretty fantastic, although I will admit that this is not my preferred cuisine, I did not mind trying it out. The sauce for the shrimp appitizer is absolutely divine, it was probably my favourite dish out of everything that we ordered. As well as the penne cotta dessert, we shared one, but I could have easily ate two to myself because it was honestly that great. Everything else was not bad, but nothing I would write home about. The ambience of the resturant is a dark and loud because of how packed it was. Overall, not bad, but I likely would not come back because it is not my preference.

Kirpa helped us have a wonderful experience where we really felt we were in India and enjoyed every piece of food we tried. She also gave us some advice, being foreigners we were amazed with the different combinations.

The hundy burger was really good but had too much sauce on it, made it soggy. The fried chicken sandwich coleslaw wasn’t my favourite but the chicken was excellent. Really enjoyed all the drinks however, the service was a little slower than we liked. They were very nice but, maybe just a little understaffed.

Visited Score on King with a few friends, had reservations and were seated right away. It was a bit of a tight fit with the table behind us, felt a little uncomfortable. Drinks were delicious, service was great! Aesthetics of the venue were really nice. Would definitely recommend checking this spot out!

I came here a few times and honestly it’s just a nice bar to come eat some food and have some drinks. It’s not pretentious and not a dive. I had brunch here recently with some friends and the food was pretty damn good and service was on point. No complaints.

Incredible service, great for watching sports. We wanted to watch a baseball game while Monday night football was on. They gave our table a speaker that connected to their tv and we watched the game with great audio.
We really liked their nachos, margaritas, and fried chicken sandwich.

My oldest child, Portabella, recently moved very very VERY far away from Hubby & I, so I've been taking SO many roadtrips. I stop into this place all the time to crack a few beers and get myself a snacky- snack before getting back on the road! My only complaint is that I was rudely refused a beef dip last time I attended this place.

It's ok, but definitely not for conservative people. Music is too loud. I think the bra on the wall is really silly to be honest (but I am sure some people find it funny and amusing) small place and too dark for me

This was a great experience! The comedians were all very great sports and were all funny! I support people venturing off at new experiences in their careers :) I’m a bit of a undercover comedian myself and they all were super cool about it! It’s a great dosage for laughter and growth!

Brunch on the thanksgiving long weekend. Busy day. We were seated at the back of the main floor. The space between tables is quite narrow - less than an arm’s length. We asked for low sodium on both dishes and the mussels are still on the salty side. Food is quite delicious. Decent portion. Nice decorations. Will visit again.

An absolute beauty of a place. Went for a single drink alone around 8 and ended up shutting the place down after meeting a number or random people who were just so welcoming and friendly. Crystal, Jess and Violet made my night. Had a blast meeting some incredible people and had some amazing drinks. Hands down would recommend this place and can't wait to come again soon/tomorrow 😊. What a place! Thank you! Didn't have food tonight but it has been great in the past. Staff is amazing

Stumbled on this place by complete chance, which was good as I love the music they play. Food was good, service was good, overall really enjoyed it. My Mrs not so much! We both enjoyed the cocktails though.

A Mecca for Metal

The place is so nice and the atmosphere is relaxing and the light is low all the time, the food is good but most importantly the cocktails are good.

My brother was staying at the hotel so we popped into Finn's for a drink and an appetizer. Our server was extremely friendly even being me a small sample of a beer we were discussing. We had the salt and pepper dry rbs with dill sauce. Excellent. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the view. This is an Irish pub with many TV's to watch sports on. Very nice inside and a decent menu.

Finally a decent metal/rock bar. Complete with Eddie from Maiden on the walls. Nice selection of over the shoulder boulder holders above to the bar as well.. nice people, great atmosphere. Recommended

I’ve been here for a Sunday afternoon game with my friends. The foods and drinks are decent, we have already let them know we be there to watch an NFL game, but a whole time they kept switching the channels, really disturbing while the restaurant was not crowded and there were several screens.
When we need to call a server for a bill, we have waited for 20’ for a server to come. There was a girl come and she disappeared for another 20’. So we finished and waited 40’ just for the bill, there was a server looked at us and walked away, was it because we are asian?

Called in here today for supper. Bangers and Mash English style, what a taste bud tantalizing experience, generously portioned, uniquely composed and perfectly delivered. Highly recommended and will definitely be back for more !

Pleasant surprise finding this restaurant, I didn’t know it existed. It’s a sports bar with a cool vibe. Seating for inside and outside.

The burgers were really good. Juicy, tender, full of flavour.

The jerk chicken bowl was recommended as one of their most popular dishes. It wasn’t anything special. I should have opted for pub/bar food instead. Green peas in a jerk bowl is a weird flex

Came to Chambar for a wedding, the entire basement was the private event, great for small events, can get stuffy.

Service was amazing, but most importantly the food was so good. I had the lamb shank, it was super tender, fall off the bone delicious. There was enough for 2 meals.

Definitely has the old town vibe, but yet not tacky. Every server was nice and the bartender was great all night. Will be back on my own to try their full menu.

Cool little bar hidden in the back of a restaurant. Drinks were spectacular and delicious. Loved the mood and lighting and very attentive mixologists and bartenders!

Got in town last Friday and wanted to hit up a happy hour. Locals Only caught my attention for their Buck-a-Shuck oysters that they serve during their HH from 5-7pm. Although the oysters were on the smaller end, they were a perfect starter. They were fresh and the best I’ve had in a while. They are served with lemon, their house mignonette sauce, house hot sauce (WARNING❗️ you don’t need a lot of it. A little goes a long way), and shaved horseradish. We order 2 dozens they were so good! I also ordered their passion fruit mezcalita. I highly recommend this cocktail! It was superb and the perfect summer drink. I recommend this spot as a starter to the beginning of your night. Perfect for a date night out, girls night out an or night out with friends kind of spot. Their HH also includes 1/2 bottle of wine or Prosecco. For 2 drinks and 2 dozen oysters, our bill came to about $37 cad which is about $28 usd. The vibe at this place was cool. My only con was that service was slow. This was a great start to our night and I’ll be sure to visit this little gem again next time I’m in Toronto.

Great place to relax and play some games with friends. The food there is perfect for the atmosphere, more so finger food than an actual meal. Although, you can fill yourself up quite quickly on the snacks. They have a diverse set of games which is really nice. Anywhere from Coup, to Guess who, and card against humanity. There’s parking nearby so it’s not completely out of the way.

Score on King is a vibrant sports bar that offers a fantastic patio, making it an ideal spot to watch the game while enjoying the outdoors. The game time drink specials add to the overall experience, creating a lively atmosphere. However, if you plan on visiting on a Friday, it's highly recommended to make a reservation as it tends to get busy. While the food at Score on King was good, the wait for fries and drinks was unacceptably long, over 45 minutes. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest letdown and would be the primary reason we wouldn't return. Additionally, parking is limited and not free, so it's best to consider walking, taking public transit, or using Uber for transportation.

Did the secrets of the penthouse tour by forbidden Vancouver . Was awsome to see danny filippone and Aron Chapman and other special guests there on the tour . Lots of comfortable places to seat around . I like the historical building layout and history . They got a jazz place upstairs called tyrant studios . The penthouse does have a bar . Eagle -time delivery system co .limited is in the house next door . What a treat 😍 to be here and definitely coming back totally love it here 😍 ❤️

I've been to Vancouver strip clubs for 15-20 years. This is the best strip club in the city. There isn't any competition. If girls want to work here Im sure management keeps the standard high that you need to work. All the girls were amazing. I've been here everytime I come in from Toronto the last 6 years and I can say everytime it's been amazing. All the girls do an amazing job and sometimes I feel that they are normal women and not even strippers mainly because the interactions are absolutely flawless. It's very personable with the dancers here. It's amazing. The standard has been kept high for years. And I never had a bad experience here. As for the other clubs around that city. If I leave reviews the management just ignored the internal issues and puts the review down rather then fix the issues...the doormen are gems. They always greet with a smile and not just juice heads. Door men are amazing I should get their names. Thanks for the smiles and laughs guys. Someone needs to tell all of you the impact you make on people's.lives after a hard weeks of work. The best 3 strip.clubs in Canada are sundowner In Niagara falls, downtown club in Montreal and Penthouse in Vancouver. There is no question about that. Yall made the top 3 ! This bar has cool rock and metal oriented decorations and music and a laid back vibe. Don’t expect anything fancy, the space is quite small and the food options are limited. The good thing is prices are reasonable for what you get. The staff are nice and friendly, I left my purse in the bar and they kept it safe until I was back.

Secrets of The Penthouse by Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tours. What an incredible behind the business tour by Danny and Aaron. 90 minutes is barely enough time to hear Danny's love of family be at the forefront of everything he describes. Aaron has put together the pieces and provides insight into the many aspects that bring together the story.

Good place to see good/bad-girls dance. It's been a while since I stopped in for a drink. I used to go more often when I lived in Vancouver. I recommend this club.

How difficult is it to give half and half (2 different sauces) if a customer orders boneless chicken wings? They do not want to do even one thing extra to accommodate customer request. How do you stand out from other pubs and restaurants in the area if you can’t accommodate such a simple request? I would rather go to a different restaurant / pub if they less desire to be customer serving. Also, sometimes you get the feeling the ladies at the bar are just wanting to be done with the customer. I asked them if they serve boneless wings, they say no. Will they serve meat in Putine, they say no. You wait for a while and persist with some other waitress, she checks in the kitchen and says yes we can do it! I mean are some waitresses not willing to serve / check at all?

My review might seem critical, but it is with the intent of improving customer service. Food is great, location is great, and overall ambience is great, but customer service surely needs some attention. Accommodativeness and curtesy and willing to go the extra mile is the key to creating good impression and getting great tips!

Staff was great. Super friendly. And blue haired Emily from Edmonton was an incredible performer and super sweet. If only she said yes to my marriage request.. sign.

Booked a table ahead. We were served right away. We ordered nutella latte, nutella hot chocolate, okonomiyaki fries, for the win belt sandwich, and shibuya toast. Everything's really delicious. The biard games are located at the back of cafe and they can be easily located as they have codes. They also have recommendedations so you won't be overwhelmed by how many games you can play. The staff were nice and accomodating. The place is very well maintained and clean. And you can really enjoy everything here. A must recommend cafe for everyone.

Been wanting to try this place since moving to Van, place is smaller than expected, but the laid back feel of a neighbourhood pub is amazing, definitely hard to come by in downtown Van, little slice of home I guess

I love the combo! Hard rock music , cheap drink and delicious food. Canadian vibe bar ! It's a good choice for tourists. Don't expect anything fancy.

Our first visit was wonderful, service was slow but friendly. Second visit was only okay. Food was served cold and drinks were slow. Tried for a third time, food was served in takeout containers with foil on top, beer tap lines were warm so no beer served bc it was too foamy.

We gave it a good try, and wanted to love it, but just couldn't. Also, $18 for 4 potato skins is insane pricing. We were inspired to do them at home where we didn't have to pay wages to staff that wanted to be anywhere else but there.

It’s been number of year since I went to the Penthouse and wow it’s nice and clean and staffs are friendly. However, since I have not been to strip clubs for a number of years, the dancers are so heavy tattooed, just not my cup of tea. Sad to say, I will not be returning soon. Overall, still a very nice club if your are into bueatiful tattooed ladies dancing.

Exceeded my expectations! I stopped here for a night with some friends while getting caught in the rain on a long drive. We rented "The Grange," aka the 5 person cabin. It is very secluded; we played loud music and had no issues. Everything is very inexpensive. The location is beautiful and rustic, there is an ecclectic bar (cheap drinks) and common area with a kitchen, there is a beautiful beach with a lovely view of the stars. It is right by Parc Forillon and a nice waterfall trail that is fine on a rainy day. Would definitely recommend!

One of my favorite places to dine in Vancouver, from start to finish this place cares a lot about their guest experience. Professional, polished service. Kitchen is always putting out impeccable food, menu composition is stellar, something for everyone. I've been for Brunch and Dinner many times and have always had the Best time here.

First time having their espresso martini and honestly one of the best I have ever had! Thank you for doing such an amazing job and taking such great care of your patrons!

Such a positive, fun, community vibe. I wanted to extend my stay in Gaspé just to spend an extra day at this hostel. I liked it so much I’d consider working there a summer! Yoga in the morning is an extra 10$ but truly excellent! Very easy going and generous staff.

Very cool place, a lot like the Sea Shack, but more northern in Gaspesie. The bar is up on a cliff, so to get to the beach, it is a long staircase to the beach area. I was told it is quite new the stairs.
The bar area is very quaint and rustic, they seem to use a lot of recycled material. They have activities for folks that come here to camp or hang out for a drink.
The staff are friendly and their beer selection is awesome. I tried the sour beer, very good! Although not for everyone, I enjoyed the tang, for me it was refreshing. You can ask to sample the beer.
They have themed party nights, tonight is Hawaiian.
The mini chalets look very cozy, and they do offer lots of camping spaces.

I love the location and the community spirit. This place is not for those that expect hotel amenities; the accommodations are basic and you will have to clean your own dishes. The location is awesome, with a stairway to the beach. Every aspect is eco-friendly; repurposed materials are used in the cabins and lodge, and recycling and composting are encouraged. The bar is well stocked and a campfire burns at night. Meals are reasonably priced and good quality or you can cook for yourself in a community kitchen or in a cabin.

Great atmosphere! Spent two night camping at the end of September. All the facilities are clean and well maintained. Great little bar and kitchen area with great staff. We did not sleep in any o the cabins or dormitories but did take a look at them and they all seamed great. Highly recommeneded. Perfectly situated to be a home base while visiting percé and the national parks around.
