This does not refer to rooms at all; we arrived after 9 pm as it was one of the few businesses open at that hour in North Hatley. We looked at the unique food offerings - maple syrup, honey, and of course so many chocolates that all looked divine. I bought six cherry chocolates and they were the best. The soap selection was fantastic - made on ile d'orleans, and I bought four of them (all different scents), as gifts.
The person behind the desk was fluent in English and French and was extremely helpful and friendly. There are suites on the upper level but we did not see any of those.
This is a marvellous little store for gift buying and is on a quaint street along the river in North Hatley.

Charming decor and great service. I like that there is a dance floor and a DJ.

Don’t come here if you are coming for the games. Unfortunately, most games are not in working order. I’m not even talking about the ones labeled “out of order” I’m talking about the ones that are on and ready for people to play. Buttons are not working and some sticks are not working. Cabinet variety is also low.

Granville room is my favourite place on earth. There is no better place to get a nice crisp tequila soda listening to the best music to have ever been produced played by the best dj's you will ever experience. I've met my bestest friends ever here and have never been happier than I've been when on the dance floor bustin a move. Highly reccomend getting Bottle service too.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Went here the other night with a group of 12. I had rib eye ($62). Steak was brought to table quickly and was prepared as requested and hot. Only issue I have really is the two DULL steak knives. Come on buy some good ones. These knives are done. Thanks for the evening. Bill for 12 adults about $700

Great food but unfortunately service was a let down. Our food came in 45 mins, we barely got any water or bread refills at all. The food portion was extremely small for a bistro. Maybe we'll stop by just for drinks because dinner service was a disappointment especially for our first visit .

Interesting menu to share with friends and family. Very nice setup and great staff. Will go back again. Fat platter quantity was perfect for 4 of us. We were full yet not feeling heavy.
We had a wonderful stay at Auberge La Chocolatiere in North Hatley! The service was excellent - friendly and helpful. We had a quiet, spacious, very clean room with a view and the bed was comfortable The breakfast was outstanding and an excellent start to the day. Parking was easily available and convenient on the street. Tempting delicious pastries and chocolates were available for purchase and we enjoyed those special treats! The location in North Hatley is so convenient to enjoying day trips to areas of the Eastern Townships. We stayed three nights and enjoyed returning to the quiet peaceful village of North Hatley! Definitely recommend staying at Auberge La Chocolatiere!

Pretty much a perfect business. Simple, uncomplicated menu extremely well-executed - tied for best fish & chips I had in the St-John's area. Reasonable portions and reasonable prices mean great value overall. Great selection of beverages, incredibly happy to come across such a selection of sour beers and similar for someone like me who doesn't really like regular beer. Gorgeous view, service and great atmosphere. Live music on Sunday afternoon. We went twice in a week!

Although restaurant has basic setting, it’s designed around sharing food with family and friends, with few harvest tables and they have outdoor seating. Staff were nice and pleasant, however we were little bit disappointed with food preparation it wasn’t up to par what you would expect, I wish the owner spent more money to have better presentable plates. Food presentation was poor they can do a better job. As for food tease was OK, I was very disappointed with their Falafel it was hard ball from outside, as a person who loves Falafel, it should crispy outside and soft inside and melt in your mouth. Also, their shawarma was below standard and not authentic, it’s seems they just use hot grill plate rather that traditional method. However their rotisserie chicken was good and juicy. As for price it’s rather high for what you get.

Great beers with amazing views. We tried a couple of different beers and they were all great. The view is second to none and the fish and chips were pretty good. They had live Newfoundland music going on and they were excellent musicians. Great service, beers and views will have us returning.

My recent experience at Da Nang restaurant left me disappointed and deeply concerned about the ethical and trustworthiness of their business practices. I ordered their "Banh Mi Bo Kho" (Beef Stew), and what I received can only be described as a bowl filled with 98% beef fat. This incident raises serious questions about the integrity of this restaurant and has far-reaching implications for both customers and the community as a whole.

First and foremost, it is crucial to emphasize the unethical nature of the restaurant's actions. Serving a dish that is overwhelmingly composed of beef fat not only misleads customers but also demonstrates a blatant disregard for their well-being. This deceptive practice is unethical and constitutes false advertising, as the menu item promised a flavorful beef stew, not a greasy bowl of fat. It undermines the trust that customecustomers' trustets a dangerous precedent for the industry.

Moreover, such unethical behaviour reflects poorly on the entire Vietnamese cuisine community. Vietnamese cuisine is known for its exquisite flavours, balance of ingredients, and the care with which dishes are prepared. This incident tarnishes the reputation of Vietnamese cuisine by associating it with deceitful practices. It is disheartening to see a restaurant compromise the image of a rich culinary tradition that has brought joy to countless people around the world.

The impact of this unscrupulous act extends beyond the individual customer. It has broader consequences for the community, especially in a diverse neighbourhood like Jane and Finch. Restaurants play a significant role in shaping the cultural identity and reputation of a neighbourhood. When a restaurant engages in unethical practices, it reflects poorly on the entire community. Such incidents can deter potential visitors and investors, hindering the economic and social growth of the area.

Furthermore, unethical behaviour by a restaurant can also lead to economic repercussions for local businesses. Customers who feel betrayed by one establishment are less likely to explore other dining options in the area. This can hurt the livelihoods of honest, hardworking restaurateurs who rely on the support of the community to thrive.

In light of this unfortunate experience, I strongly recommend that patrons consider alternative Vietnamese restaurants in the Jane and Finch area that genuinely respect their customers. Supporting businesses that uphold ethical standards is not only a matter of personal satisfaction but also a means of encouraging responsible and trustworthy practices in the culinary industry.

In conclusion, the incident involving the deceptive serving of "Banh Mi Bo Kho" with an overwhelming amount of beef fat is a clear example of unethical and untrustworthy behaviour by the restaurant. It not only harms individual customers but also hurts the reputation of Vietnamese cuisine and the community as a whole. As consumers, we have the power to demand transparency, integrity, and ethical practices from the establishments we patronize. It is essential to hold such businesses accountable and support those who genuinely value their customers and community. This experience serves as a stark reminder of the importance of ethical conduct in the restaurant industry and the consequences of failing to uphold it.
A wonderful place to visit. Price is worth to get a family like service. I ordered roast duck leg. It was juicy and crispy on the skin. It was recommended by the server which introduces a shrimp appetizer too. The appetizer comes with tasty and refreshing favor. My partner had steak for dinner. It cooked with crispy top and rare finishing, but the steak came with too many tendon. So the server bring us other one, the second one is perfect. Also, the owner explained everything for us, really entertaining. He is a knowledgeable guy with humour. I have a nice meal with nice atmosphere in the restaurant. It's a great place for getting food there.
Best french fries we have ever eaten!!! The coffee was excellent too. All four of us raved about the sandwiches. All of the food was fresh, well prepared and well presented.
One of the most beautiful breweries I've ever been to. The food was well priced and delicious. The beers were pretty good, and I got a glass with my Iceberg beer.

I took one star off for two reasons: the prices on the menu are not including tax, but the bill will include the tax on it - I got confused why it was more expensive. As well, they were grossly understaffed for their capacity - it was full and they only had 3 or 4 servers. I felt bad knowing everything was taking forever because of this fact.

Great experience! Even though they closed at 10pm, they kept open for us and served with great energy and passion for the restaurant! The food was amazing and presented so beautifully! Really recommend the platter to try three different dips with pita!

They were also playing amazing music and singing along which made it feel like a nice, warm dinner with your family!!

With attached parking and delicious everything and what an incredible vibe in the back patio sitting. Great and attentive team.

Great price to portion value and quality is there too.

The main miss on food would have been too much salt on some bites of the Shakshuka and eggs wouldn't be my favorite choice here but still not enough to warrant a Star loss!

The vibe and other food made up for it
My favourite club on the Granville strip! Drinks are pricey, but definitely more reasonable than most other clubs in the area. The live music is always great, and I've never had any weird encounters with another patron!

We visited the QV brewery at the beginning of August. We sat on the patio so the view and atmosphere were lovely. The server brings your drinks but you go fetch your food yourself when it’s ready, which is ok. We ordered the seafood chowder which we thought was a bit small for the price but was still tasty. Cool beer selection too.

Amazing food here if you like French cuisine. We tried a bit of everything and it was all fantastic (the salmon was the highlight, crème brûlée the lowlight since my expectations were higher for a nice French restaurant). The don’t have a full bar so cocktails are hit or miss. Service was great & the atmosphere is very classic (loved it even more as the evening went on and some mood lighting was introduced)

Would definitely recommend!

new to vancouver and was looking for a nice bar to go to on my birthday. i had such a good time here! all the bouncers at the front were so nice and inviting from the get go. live music was awesome and during breaks from bands they played the best 2014 era ish music that no one plays at clubs anymore my heart was so happy!! every club plays the same 50 songs every weekend and it drives me nuts but The Roxy played so many bangers. it’s a smaller venue but nowhere near as crowded/pushy/sweaty as your average club. I never leave google reviews lol but really just had a nice time. I would 100% recommend coming here :)

For tourists downtown in St John's, this place is a good brisk 40-minute walk away and involves a little bit of incline. We walked via the lake loop trail which did have a nice dedicated pedestrian path but wasn't as nice and scenic as you would think, passing by the large penitentiary and run down medical facilities. It did give us a nice chance to get a more complete feel for the town than just the tourist waterfront streets. You could always take a quick 5-minute cab ride. Arrived at an adorably cute little harbor (the one you imagined when you first thought of New Foundland) with the brewery right at the end with all the best views. Lots of personality and LOTS of beers with local ingredients (ex. Blueberries) and local themes (ex. Iceberg). Walk up a narrow staircase to the main brewery floor and bar. Place was full from a wedding event but we quickly grabbed seats at the bar. They were busy and hustling but we were quickly served our 16oz pour beers ($6.50 USD converted from CAD after taxes but before gratuity), which were delicious. Staff were helpful but too busy to be particularly "friendly" (aka. you may need to flag them to request your drink or check). Packed with friendly locals (not sure if any tourists) and great views of the boats and water. They were setting up for some local folk music (fiddle, guitar, tin whistle) which sounded like it would be amazing. Unfortunately we didn't have time to stick around but we can definitely say this would be our go-to brewery and is worth the effort to get to - don't miss it.

Not a place I would regularly go to, but it is worth a visit. Portions are on the larger side, and were generally on the tasty side. Service was good, the patio was rustic and suited me. The falafel were a hit. I would recommend it if you want a new experience.

My boyfriend and I went there to try the horse meat. We tried the tartar and the rare steak. It was excellent and we could say it was some of the best steak we ever had. We also got the cheese board. The waiter was excellent, I can’t remember his name but he was from England. He was so knowledgeable about the French cuisine and was able to teach me a lot. I loved my experience there and really tied in our first trip to Toronto. I would go back.

We planned to come here for the tasting menu but as we made reservations we noticed they had an event that combined drinks and appetizers at bar Secrette and a 3 course meal at the restaurant so we chose this instead. Bar: stylish, cozy but unfortunately empty (one other couple) so the atmosphere was lacking a bit but it was early in the evening. The cocktails were delicious , flavourful and interesting so were the appetizers. Restaurant: the part that really stood out was the service at George. The staff makes you feel very welcome and special. My Lobster salad was delicious and presentation spot on. Atmosphere was a bit too stiff for me.
Son of the owner is extremely rude and shouldn’t be dealing with customers.
We ate at the restaurant and at the end of our meal found a piece of hair in the dessert, notified him and were in turn met with accusations and asked to pay for it.
Rest of the staff and food was good.
We stopped at this bistro for one of the best lunches we’ve ever had, even better than the cuisine we enjoyed while living in NYC. The food was excellently prepared, the ingredients fresh, and the flavor combinations delightful. We don’t usually order dessert, but couldn’t resist the exquisite offerings here. Highly recommend!!

Came here for an anniversary dinner and holy hell this place is worth the hype. I have never been to this caliber of restaurant before so maybe I'm a bit biased but this blew me away! We sat on the beautiful courtyard patio which was so intimate and romantic. The service was impeccable, sommelier Patrick was unbelievably knowledgeable and let us ask him a million questions. We tasted a couple wines and had a bottle of Mother Rock Holocene from 2020 on his recommendation and it was such a zippy and interesting wine! The food was outstanding, presentation was unbelievable. Each dish was explained to us by the lovely servers who were all so nice! We had the 7 course vegetarian tasting menu - and my partner and I were each served DIFFERENT dishes! Plus an "amuse bouche compliments of the chef" which was so nice. Each dish was so interesting and delicious, we had lengthy conversations about each trying to identify flavours. Just amazing. And they even decorated our dessert plates with a Happy Anniversary wish! So thoughtful. The experience took us about 3.5 hours. Would recommend this to anyone celebrating a special occasion. Very pricey of course but worth every penny. I didn't take a ton of photos because I wanted to be off my phone but hopefully these give you an idea of the artistry at play here!

The restaurant is lovely aesthetically speaking, decor is great inside and in the courtyard where there is additional seating.

Arrived a bit before six and staff passed by several times, clearly looking at us and no-one coming to greet us. I'm not sure how long we would have waited. We were there for an RBC sponsored dining event, and asked where we sh
ould go to be seated at the bar as no-one came for about 15 mins. We were sent to a private party, the event (also by RBC) and were quite befuddled as it wasn't what was expected. After an embarrassing encounter with the patron if the wrong event, we were seated in our proper section. Off to a bad start.

The food was well presented but everything was overly salty. Overall not a great night. The waitstaff however were attentive and pleasant.

Lowered my score as the restaurant reached out with a mediocre response. No response would have been more satisfying tbh.

Overview:
Laid back, retro arcade bar/Lounge
Be prepared for plenty of throwbacks and some awesome meals and munchies!

We visited for our first time on a Friday night after 9pm.
Security at the door made it feel secure and monitored. Friendly guy, checked ID regardless of age/appearance.

Employee at the front (Desmond?)was super friendly, informative and helpful with just enough sarcastic humour to keep us coming back. Helped us feel comfortable and ease into the place for our first time. $5 pp before 10pm, $10 pp after 10pm.

2 floors of free play retro gaming, no coins, no swipe cards, just start gaming. Find all of your faves from your old days playing at the pizza shop or mall arcade… Double Dragon, Galaga, Street Fighter series, Simpsons, Ninja Turtles, Nintendo arcade games, mortal kombat.. you name it! They even have a few tables upstairs with your own tv screen and retro console to play a longer game with a group (Wii sports, Sega genesis, N64…!)

AMAZING food! if you like chicken sandwiches, you must try the O’Canada sandwich. Poutine was beautifully layered with plenty of gravy and cheese. No skimping on flavour or toppings here!

Note: When you order a beef burger, let them know if you’d like it “well-done”. Our Double Smash Bros. tasted amazing, but the meat was a little underdone for our liking in the middle. (Front desk refunded it from our bill and apologized very sincerely, impressed how the minor problem was solved so quickly and kindly!)

They have “Warden Station” Patties, heated fresh to order. so if you’re from Scarborough… you know what it is!! Lol

Live DJ after 9pm playing a mix of fun music to keep you gaming and moving around. Great atmosphere, fun, friendly, upbeat and no shady, scary people making things awkward.

Definitely would go back again. Perfect with a group of friends or date night. Thank you Freeplay!

What a lovely place for a dinner date night! The restaurant hit the right spot! If it wasn’t a Tuesday night, we would’ve tried the wine pairing. We ended up choosing the 7-course Tasting Menu and was blown away by each and every course. What’s amazing is each person receives a different dish; 14 different dish! Our food kept coming and coming and not one dish disappointed! The 5-course would’ve definitely be more than enough, but the 7-course was an amazing choice for our first visit. Can’t wait to return and try their A La Carte menu. The atmosphere was lovely and would ask to be seated in the middle next time to really take in the atmosphere of the restaurant.

I went to see an early show starting at 8 last week. The artists were incredible ranging from acoustic pop/folk to electronic/rock. The service was great from the bartender as well. Fun lighting through with excellent smoke machine. Would recommend bringing earplugs as the sounds was incredibly loud even for the acoustic artist at the beginning. My friend left as it was too loud, maybe the sound techs could reduce the overall volume next time. Great experience!

A gross bar but an institution and admittedly a fun time. $15 cover on a Friday night. Drinks were reasonably priced (obviously expensive but not terrible for “club” prices). Live music was great as was the rest of the music (all fun dancing music). I hope to never go to a dance floor with carpet…

This place is for people who don’t know what middle eastern/Mediterranean food is. We had the Lil Salatim and fried crushed potatoes. The dips tasted store bought, the falafel were flavourless with no seasoning whatsoever felt like I was biting into a green ball of grease, and the pita was too thick for our liking. I don’t know how they cook their potatoes but they were also a disaster both in terms of look and taste - super soggy. Would’ve preferred if they were more true to their Mediterranean/Jewish taste but I was disappointed.

The place is very nice.
The tasting menu is very interesting and a must try.

However, unfortunately, there have been few mistakes not expecting by a restaurant by its standing.

First was serving us plates that were for another table and got taken our immediately, second, we mentioned specifically no bacon and no foie gras, and we got served both, and it is only while the waiter was explaining the plates, we realised and mentioned it otherwise no one noticed!

Having said that, the restaurant remains exceptionally good and a must try if in Toronto.
While visiting Quidi Vidi, the brewery was a must according to friends. After a stroll around the village, stopped for lunch and up the stairs we went (the brewery part if downstairs). The place was fairly packed and we had to wait to be seated. One of the reasons for such great numbers was that the President and First Lady of Iceland and entourage were visiting and getting “screeched in”. What lucky timing for us and especially me! We both ordered the two-piece fish and chips (each $14.99) with side of gravy as well as a bottle and draft of Iceberg beer. Love the blue bottle. Now I’m not a beer drinker but it was so smooth and refreshing tasting that I finished the whole bottle (I never do!). The fish and chips were delicious – crispy and flaky inside. The gravy was dark and thick which I always favour. The homemade tartar sauce was great and not vinegary. The environment was full of friendly people celebrating and talking with typical upbeat NL music in the background. One thing I truly noticed and appreciated was there were no t.v.’s that I could see. Bonus points! There’s a covered patio outside overlooking the water (and protected from wind windows) so lots of seating. Parking is nearby. A truly fun place with very reasonable prices and the charm of Newfoundland folks.

Went for the happy hour on the patio today. Wish I got the name of our server cause he deserves a shout out by name he was on the ball kept our water filled up and was v friendly.

The patio is great and the happy hour is possibly the best value of any I’ve seen. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return to try the full menu! We ordered almost 1 of each dishes between 3 and we all left in pain. Not shabby with the portions at all.

We started off with a watermelon salad which was nice, and a charcuterie board (which was definitely overpriced), then had duck confit and the foie gras for the mains; the duck confit was great but the foie gras was superb. Hard to get attention of waiters sometimes (even though they had a surplus of them?..), but it was a good atmosphere overall. Don't think I'll come back but was a overall a nice experience.

!!DON’T GO HERE!! I was here a little while ago and asked for a vodka soda, obviously thinking it would be well vodka because who in their right mind wouldn’t think that. NOPE charged for PREMIUM vodka! Ontop of that they Autograt every bill and hide the signs they have to show for it. The girls working don’t have half a brain. Will never go back and I will never recommend this place to anyone.
Spent three days at Auberge La Chocolatière in late July 2023.
Experience was very positive from the day we checked in to when we checked out.
The Auberge is efficiently run by a wonderful family.
Rooms are well equipped with all of the amenities you'd expect.
The complimentary breakfast included in the price of the room was well above average. Everything was freshly maid and the selection was beyond our expectations.
Should we return to that part of Quebec, we will definitely stay there again.

I loved this place! They have all the games I used to play when I was a teenager. So nostalgic and fun. You need to pay $5 in cash to play all games. I’m not giving 5 stars because of what happened when I arrived there during my first visit. There’s a rule about large bags that people must pay $2 for coat check. My purse was small but I was forced to follow the rules. It was awful to walk around with my phone and no wallet and I had no pockets. We complained after seeing tons of women getting there with their purses and backpacks. First they said no bag or backpack was allowed and then they said no large bags. My friend had a large tote bag that indeed was part of the rule but not mine. After complaining they allowed me to keep my purse.

Very nice brewery and amazing fish and chips! The service was amazing! The view was very nice during sunset which is when I was there. I sat at their covered patio and it was beautiful!

The batter for the fish and chips was just so good, it had the texture and crispiness similar to Popeyes chicken which I found very unique. I have never had fish and chips with a thicker batter but it wasn’t hard at all. The tarter sauce that was served with the fish and chips was just so amazing I kept asking the server to bring more of it for my fries. The fries were also very delicious! Highly recommend not skipping the fish and chips here!

The only odd thing with this brewery is that you need to walk downstairs to get your food from the kitchen. I am not sure why the servers don’t bring the food to the tables. I wonder how those with disability or mobility issues get their food.

Highly recommend eating here if you are stopping by.

Reason for four stars: it did not wow me.
But overall, it's a nice place. Good vibes. Love the replies you guys give to the Google reviews by the way😂.
I can see how the place would get too crowded, I wonder if you guys keep count of how many people are in.
When I came, I had to actively look for a staff member to insist that I pay. Not a problem at all, just a heads up.
Anyways, would absolutely be one of the places I recommend to hang out at!

Desmond at the door was excellent introducing the place and providing free board games. Backpacks are safely stored at the front.

We ate excellent food by Chef Noel. Good price too.

Loved the game selection. My personal favourite arcade game that we played was the Target Terror machine.

Highly recommend.

We wanted a quick bite between Fringe Shows and La Palette was a knock out choice. The duck and fromage were of high quality whilst the french wines were divine. Expect a relaxed ambience and unpretentious charm.

The Iceberg Lager Beer is very fresh and it's the best beer we ever drink. We ordered fish cake which was delicious. The service was great too. The place was very busy and we had a short wait for the seating inside, then as soon as a table was available outside, we moved to outside. It's absolutely delightful drinking the beer while enjoying the beautiful lake views.

Bravo GEORGE Restaurant! This is what fine dining in Toronto is all about. We're still on cloud nine after the beautiful evening we had at this gorgeous restaurant. They handled our dinner party exceptionally well. All of my family and guests were so impressed by the quality of food and level of service. A big thank you to Mark, Alex, Eli, John, and Chef Lorenzo and his team, who all offered an exceptional dining experience that truly made our night so special! Also, a warm thank you to Anna, George Restaurant's event planner. Anna's highly communicative, honest and flexible approach made planning our event a fun and effortless experience.

The food - Phenomenal! Delicious and aesthetically stunning dishes. Each course was carefully crafted, cooked to perfection and plated so beautifully. The portions were just right. For a fine dining establishment, they were surprisingly quite big. Overall, we were very content with the calibre of food and the quality of service provided.

If you're looking for a new favourite restaurant in Toronto, GEORGE Restaurant is a must try! A truly incredible venue to host all of your dinners and events.
Forecast coffee is a cafeteria that I liked because it has a different design from the others, and also has good coffee. The food leaves a bit to be desired and the place is a bit noisy. Is a good place to try it.
We live in NY. Our hotel stay was absolutely wonderful. Family operated, warm and inviting. Would strongly recommend to stay here if coming the North Hayley and the lake. All my best.

A nice family outing. There were 11 of us so we got a private room. We had 7 course tasting menu. The food was great so was the service. This was the second time here for us and we will be back for sure
Took me forever to get to this place with my friends and then I just wanted a sandwich and beer and they didn't let us in for no reason.

Latte in this family is the one with the strongest bean flavor and bitter taste I have ever tasted in Vancouver. It is really recommended.Their smoked salmon sandwich is the freshest fish I have ever eaten, and it has the best oily taste.🥰

Great coffee, average price for the neighbourhood however how they differ is they have cocktails and spirits. Also have designated seating for people with laptops vs. laptop tables.

It was my first time at fat pasha and it exceeded all expectations! We got the fat salatim platter and everything was delicious, the cocktails were great too. I was most impressed with the service here. The host and servers were amazing and super helpful. We also loved the vibe of the outdoor patio. 5/5 Great place!!
Decor in rooms is somewhat dated (80's lamps and dressers) but rooms are spotlessly clean and beds comfortable. Could use to upgrade pillows.
No elevators as building is old so be able to climb stairs.
Breakfast included in room stay is phenomenal. Good selection, made to order, fast and delicious. Coffee very good. Could use some sound proofing in the ceiling as we heard the room above us walking.
Very happy with our stay.

My girlfriend and I went to this place for AfroBeats night. This was our first true night out in Vancouver since we've been in town for vacation. The bartenders and the overall vibe was great this was the best bar we went to in Vancouver. I would recommend anybody that's coming into town or anybody in general to come to this bar.

Delicious! I was craving bone marrow post dinner and they so happened to have it on special. Also, got the horse tartare which was a treat. Both dishes were wonderful! Finished it off with the hazelnut ganache/banana (I didn’t capture the exact name). Staff and maybe even the owner was friendly and attentive to detail! Would definitely come back! Cheers!

I really enjoyed my time here. The decor is very cute and everything feels very french and authentic. I got the duck confit which was delicious. The skin was super crispy and the meat was tender and tasty. My friend to the special pork chops which were also flavorful and tender. Great experience!

Old school arcade in a pub type setting.
All you can play with cover charge.
Adults $5
Youth/Children $10
Food and drinks extra.

Games are old school, pinball, retro games, TVs with SNES connected to it etc. Tables for sitting and chilling with a drink or two.

Not bad. Though some games need to be fixed as the joystick might be partially defective (ie. Simpsons / Marge controller).

Staff are helpful and welcoming.

Excellent place and great service by the staff!

Lots of options from Smash Bros to Jenga, and the food and drinks are offered at decent rates too!

The cheap entry has no time limit (as of this review's date) so you'll definitely get your money's worth!

Highly recommended for groups, dates, old school gamers or just about anyone really!

The blind tasting menu (chef’s choice) is available in 5, 7, or 10 courses but 5 is more than enough to satiate even the biggest appetite. Each dish has a wonderful combination of flavours but what really sets this restaurant apart is the variety. The two of us ordered the 5 course and we were each served different dishes which allowed us to try a total of 10 dishes.

The menu starts with an amuse bouche, followed by a chilled seafood dish, a foie gras, meat, cheese, and then dessert.

My personal favourites of the night were the king oyster mushroom amuse bouche, the crab, the squab foie, the boar, the thea cheese, and the lemon tart.

Our server, who was excellent, suggested the City of Lights and Peachy Keen cocktails and he did not disappoint. Peachy Keen is especially great if you’re not too keen on the taste of alcohol.

Their prix fix menu is a great deal! Food was fresh and made with local ingredients. The chicken liver pate was generous and their pork belly was cooked to perfection. Service was fast and friendly.

Huge coffee shop with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a pretty big menu with coffee, wines and drinks. I had an iced vanilla latte. It was delicious. We also got 3 different types of cookies-lemon, birthday cake, and lava. All of them were delicious-“lava cake cookie was my favourite-not to sweet.

My friend and I recently went to Jump for a girls night dinner. Service was good overall.

There wasn’t anything in particular on the menu that really caught my attention so I opted for a light refreshing cocktail, shared the grilled calamari, and the Seared Scallops & Golden Beet Risotto. Everything was okay but definitely overpriced. The grilled calamari definitely is more of an appetizer than a main. It’s definitely not a big enough portion to keep you full. The risotto was good but only had four scallops. If they could replace the beets that looked like scallops, then it would’ve justified the price a bit better.

I spent (with gratuity) $88. I rarely dine out at high end restaurants so I was okay with paying that much.

Service was great they refilled our water very frequently and food was decent. Portion size was good but the burger was slightly over cooked. They said it would be medium but the burger came out well done. Still had a great taste and fries were good. Charging for refills on soft drinks is a bit excessive though! Still would recommend! Also a nice birthday treat of sorbet!

Organized a corporate dinner here and was very happy with the service and food. A few little things could use updating when it comes to the decor but all in all, a pretty good experience. The only downside is that as a mobility challenged person, I had to wait about 5 minutes when entering and exiting for a security guard to come and operate the elevator.

We went here on Thursday night for winterlicious. The waitress was very polite and the service was great, but we weren’t too impressed with the food. It tasted ok, nothing special. We paid over $200 with drinks and we didn’t feel full when we left. The atmosphere is definitely very corporate because it’s by the financial district, so not a romantic place if that is your intention going here.

Decided to try Jump for my partner's birthday and we were not disappointed. From that start we were greeted by their excellent service, where we recommended excellent drinks and were even given a complimentary oyster course.

All the dishes were really great and the highlight of night was definitely the Osso Bucco!

Finally they were so accommodating with the birthday cakes that we got elsewhere, where they even laid them out with great presentation at the end of the night.

Will visit once again for the great experience!

We came here for an office lunch and I would highly recommend it!

The bistro has delicious food (must try their soup) and the service was perfect. Not too formal and not too casual, but friendly and prompt.

Space is a bit loud as the kitchen is open to the dining room.

Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for some food during your trip to AGO. Lots of healthy, earthy, well-crafted dishes, which are appropriately visually pleasing, given their art museum context. The museum closes at 5pm and the restaurant shortly after at 530pm, so it's more of a late lunch / early dinner spot. In addition to a small but well-curated food menu, they also have cocktails, wine, and dessert.

Pictures are of the salmon and the green goddess bowl (vegetarian).

On a recent visit to the AGO, we decided to try Brunch at their Bistro. Wow! Truly a hidden gem in the city. The staff and ambiance were superior and the food was delicious. Fresh, quality ingredients and paired with the best coffee in Toronto, from Pilot Roasters. Highly Recommend!!! Had the yogurt parfait and pancake stack and both were heavenly decadent. They don't skimp on the berries and again I stress, fresh ingredients!!!

I really liked the burger here, the place is no e and the staff is great! The burguers come alone you will have to order side dishes like fries or salads, overall good prices, you'll pay around 12 dollars for a burger.

We waited about 30 mins in line to get in on a Friday night, it was not even busy inside when we finally got in. Don't know why they were holding up the line. It seemed that if you knew the promoter or the security they let you cut the line and go right in. I guess they just want to keep a line outside to make them look busy. Eventually as the night went on, it did get busier inside. Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, not clean and smell so bad. Drinks were okay. Only thing good was the music, they played afrobeats, hip-hop and dancehall.

One of the nicest spots for food in Toronto. Friendliest service and the tastiest menu items. We take in the latest highlights in the gallery then we're steps away from the dining room and a super meal. Highly recommended.

It is a cool bar, nice ambiance, bartender was very friendly and diligent. We tried some of their cocktails and a couple by request, they were pretty good.

The food menu wasn’t as interesting though; so, it’s probably better to go just for drinks.

We came mid-week, not too late at night so, we just walked in and sat on the bar.

2023 update: Now they deserve 5 stars. Great atmosphere and service, delicious flat white and cookie, great menu, saw lots of people ordering food and everything looked great. Computer campers are banned!!! Omg I wish all coffee shops would do that!!! Of course they’re not fully banned, just from some tables which is good enough to keep a nice flow in the shop. They also host cool events, the art on the cup is gorgeous… you can tell it’s a brand that is constantly being worked on to improve for their customers. Good job!! Went back to try their food and it’s bomb, I would just suggest please toast the sourdough for the club sandwich ;)

2022: All pretty nice but forget about getting a table because every single one of them is being taken by someone sitting there on their laptop for 4h sipping on a cup of coffee.

Waitress was really friendly and attentive. We walked in at 6:58pm on a Wed and she immediately mentioned happy hour is ending in 2 mins. She immediately helped us squeeze in a couple beer orders. Chicken wings only has one flavour which is quite spicy if you are not an usual spicy food lover.

The plave is cozy and it looks so new. Brick walls and some pot plants add this nice contrast and fresh feeling.

Food menu has okay selection. Pizza is $14 each. They do have daily special for food. Will definitely go back sometimes
