Beautiful place with splendid views but the stairs to come down are a serious hazard! Due to the same paint used on the floor and stairs, it confused us as a continuous plain surface. One will only know it's a step down when they try to step on it and miss. I realized early and could stop but my mother-in-law was not so lucky. She fell down. They should have a different/high viz strip at the end of each stairs or mark it somehow to differentiate between the floor and stairs.
Amazing 6km walk with river beach halfway. Love throwing or collecting stones? Falls are lovely, easy walk overall.
One of the most beautiful waterfalls in BC in my opinion. The trail is bit over 1.5 kms I guess from the parking, but I totally loved the journey. On the way there are many places that you can go to the water for a fun bath, we did have a bath near the bridge which was fun. But if u pass that bridge. There are few more beautiful places to do that which will be better than bridge place in my opinion. Water is bit cold in early june we went.

The fall is so beautiful as well. Which makes it worth your time and energy.
Nice stop 🛑 for a break when biking on the adjacent trail or when driving along Rockcliff Parkway. Be aware, sometimes this place is busy for car parking 🅿️ so you may have to park on the adjacent street and walk over sometimes at peak timings.

If this was helpful, please like my review! 🙏🫶🙌
Calm and beautiful place, superb view

Great spot! Very easy hike, well marked and maintained trails. Hike is very scenic.
Nice place for walk or picnic (if good weather of course).
especially at sunset
The fall was small but beautiful, I wish there was a nicer deck to stay and enjoy the fall but we enjoyed our hike and beautiful nature with kids in general 🌿
Hiked to lower falls today. Road is closed but can park and take a .8 kilometer detour trail to get to the lower falls trailhead. The falls were roaring today (Mar 11/24). A great time as usual even with the small detour.

a great view of Toronto skyline. I see lots of people exercising there - a good work out for sure, even if you walk up just once.
Such a beautiful hike… open year round, beautiful views, so relaxing… 2.5 km one way from the parking lot…

Right now parking lot is closed, road parking is available 1km before.. it’s a decent hike.
Beautiful place to hike to anytime of the year, just a beautiful spot with amazing views. Hike from the Groto is easy and doesn't take long.

A bit of a hike up from the grotto across the Stoney beach, it can be a bit more difficult to get to due to the terrain, but it’s quieter and also offers some great views! There’s some very cool rock features here that are worth checking out if you can make the extra 45 minutes from the grotto.

Nothing interesting about Cypress and so empty. The view point before reach Cypress is stunning. Smoke takes so much from the reality but still nice view. Cypress only has life in winter.
It was such an experience to home from little cove to the grotto and see all of this finally.

Great place to go up, disconnect from your busy life while looking at how busy the city really is and it gives u a perspective of our city life. Kinda deep. But honestly that’s how I felt when I went up there. It feels nice to get out the city once in a while — so it’s good to take those breaks and just relax. Enjoy the view, watch sunset night sky anything!
It is a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the city of Vancouver, Stanley Park and all. As for a place to view the fireworks, they are a little far away if you are looking for in your face beautiful explosions of light.
That said it can be a lovely spot to see how they look with Vancouver as a back drop. The barge is at an angle from this vantage point.
The added photo was shot at an 85 mm focal length and is a crop of that photo. The distance for the naked eye is not the same.
Beautiful, out of the way, not too many people and lots of parking. Great view!

We hike along the bruce trail and definitely need giood shoes. Part of the trail is rocky beach.
Bit of a climb from the beach but it is maximum around 30 min from Grotto. Lots of bugs and good idea to carry bugs spray.
View is amazing . No access to water from this place.
From Gold Creek parking lot, it's a 2.5 km hike to this peaceful little waterfall. The trail is mostly flat and gravel paved, with several turnouts leading to the stream bed along the way. Parking is free but requires a day use pass which can be reserved on BC parks website.

It's such a beautiful place to see Vancouver from. You can see downtown from here. There is no wait. Lots of parking too. I would definitely recommend this place to visit. Great for all ages. You can take great pictures here too. You can have a picnic here there are some tables to eat at. Five out of five place.

Lovely views of Gatineau from the lookout point. Summer is a great time to look for jetskis and boats cruising on Ottawa river. The parking is enough for 3 cars only.

If you are in Vancouver area this is a must see just takes few mins but the view from here is breath taking. The view of entire city is amazing. Even the drive to this look out is fun. Along with other places in Vancouver this is one of the best one for no charge and I bet you will enjoy it a lot. Check out the images and follow for more.

Cypress mountain is one of the views you must go see when visiting Vancouver ! Not a far drive from the city and close to Stanley Park. You do have to drive up a mountain so winter tires are the law in the winter and drive slow. There are many lookout points and even a restaurant at the bottom before heading up. You may find wildlife such as deer and bears. It gets colder the higher you go so bring a jacket!

Pictures don't do this amazing view any justice! 10/10 views

Breathtaking view from up here!

Worth the climb!

And for all the pop culture nerds out there, Scott Pilgrim vs the World had the skating crash scene filmed here!

Great little park with big views. Trees are definitely getting in the way of views but the views are still there. The bathrooms are small pit toilets and not the cleanest but what can you expect on a mountain side in the middle of nowhere. At least they have some. The mountainside to get up to the park is being developed so hopefully plumbing will come at some point?

One of my favorite places in Vancouver. Great sunset and sunrise lookout point. Amazing for photography, with a nice telephoto lens you can capture lions gate bridge. Very romantic spot. Free parking. There are also washrooms available. Some benches and grass area also available. Highly recommended.

The park is not too big but it’s quite clean and you can see the Rockciffe Boating House from there and it has such a nice view to see😍
I encountered this place while going to the Casa Loma and found it really beautiful. You will have a nice view of the downtown cityscape along with the CN Tower from here. In every level of the stairs you will find sitting area if you are not that fit. On the top there's a nice garden. You can do small picnic there along with the view. Water refill option is available there too.

Unbelievable place, I was like are we in Ontario or I’m dreaming. I 100% recommend it to you guys but just make sure that you wear suitable shoes.
Truly an awesome inspiring view of Vancouver including all the suburbs. Sunset here is amazing!

This is a nice place for a view of the CN tower and more of downtown. There are three bikesharing stations around this location, so it is pretty bikeable. You could have a small picnic there on the grass too or sit on the stairs. It is also quite calming to see cars and buses go by in the distance.
Just a few minutes off Hwy 99 the view of Vancouver is worth the stop.

Hiking here from the grotto is not a challenge like the map indicates, as long as you have sure footing (due to the rocky beach) you will enjoy the spectacular views along the hike as the trail takes you up and over the cliffs, the first sight you will see is the hidden swimming cave from above before you make your way across the rocky beach and up into the hills. Once you reach the point you can walk 3 minutes further if you want a good place to take pictures of your friends who are sitting on the overhanging point. Overall very recommended, spectacular views and an enjoyable hike!
Great view point to just relax and look at Metro Vancouver from the top. It’s very conveniently located as well.

Jan 2022 - Although the highlight of Bruce Peninsula Provincial Park is the Grotto, the overhanging point is definitely worth the hike, even during the winter. You get much higher relatively to the other portions of the park, and you get some very neat views you wouldn't elsewhere. It's likely only an extra 30min one way from the Boulder Beach with many viewing points along the way!

Great place which offers a lovely view of the skyline. Located right next to casa loma. There aren't many stairs to climb so even if you are not in the greatest of shape should not be an issue. And if you come from the casa loma entrance side you can get to the top of the stairs avoiding the climb altogether.

According to the information ℹ️ sign everything below Baldwin Steps had been underwater during the last ice age.
While visiting the Prime Minister's and Governor General's residences it is nice to go a bit farther along Sir George Etienne Cartier parkway to see the Aviation and Space museum and the RCMP horse stables. I recommend that on your journey to stop and take a look from the scenic view from the lookout point. There you can have a great view of the Ottawa River, Ottawa's Marina and on the other side of the water, Gatineau Quebec.

There are also some nice bike trails in the area that you can take advantage of on this adventure. The trail is in good shape and there are some small hills, but not too difficult of a ride.

If you like my reviews, videos, or photos Lookout and find the thumbs up button
Beautiful place to watch sunrise. 🌇 Parking available.
Nice spot to look out to Vancouver. The drive back down is a guilty pleasure. A proper viewing platform would be appreciated and allow visitors a better unobstructed view, but the parking is free so this is more of a nitpick.
Lots of trails. Great views. Short and long hikes available for a variety of experience. Make sure to have good footwear on the trails.

The Gazebo was beautiful as always. Didn't enjoy dodging the Elk droppings on the grass every 10 steps. They looked like small chocolate balls which would have been nice, but unfortunately they did not taste that way.

These steps take you up to the hill over to Castle Loma. It's probably nearly 100 steps or so and is a decent climb with a great view of the city. On spring and summer days, you'll find the blooming flowers along the steps.

2021 4★ Nice view of the city. If your in the area, there's casa loma and the spadina museum just north of the stairs. Nothing to see at the actual park. Good view point of the city from just north of the city on a clear day.
Beautiful views. Absolutely breath taking.

Beautiful views of the city, a good place to sit and feel the calm of the nature
You can meet new people around
It’s close to Casa Loma
Beautiful view. Would recommend going on a clear day. Washrooms are disgusting so would not recommend. Definitely a place I would recommend everyone go once!

There is an observation deck, a pier below, and a boat restaurant, but the restaurant is closed during the epidemic. There are a lot of yachts parked at the pier, and there is a large parking lot, but only yacht clubs are allowed to park here. You can see the confluence of the Ottawa River and the Gatineau River, the scenery is beautiful.
The steps are a great workout and once you reach the top you have an incredible view. At the top there’s also a water fountain. It’s a quick walk from the train and at the top is the Casa Loma castle. Beautiful landmark and good recommendation for a tourist close to public transportation.

Beautiful views! Walked walked from our campsite to overhanging point with a recommendation from who checked us in that we should go for sunset.
Since everything is rocky during the walk, it took much longer than they estimated.
Even so, what a beautiful sunset view!
If you do it during that time, make sure you walk back before it’s too dark and bring good lighting for your way back.
