The best value you can get for your money. We ate like Kings for less than $14 each. Spicy noodles and rice were out of this world. And the soups were perfect. The service was friendly and quick. Everything hit the spot. But watch out for those chiles! Can't wait to come back again.
Came here around noon, and the service was great in the beginning since we were the only ones there. Their lunch menu is affordable, and offers a variety of choices. As the hour passed, there were more diners, and the service became hit or miss. We had to ask for our bill twice.
I had been seated at a table , and had to wait 15 minutes before being acknowledged let alone greeted. I was told that I chose to sit at a dirty table , the waiters hate their job, and overall the attitude was extremely unpleasant. This used to be a great place to eat. I personally love tipping for good service. However The service was horrendous. I refuse to eat here anymore and recommend other restaurants with similar style cuisine. Service here needs to improve as well as incorporating diversity of employees. This is a fully asian staffed restaurant, where hygiene food safety and security , and customer service is neglected.

I ordered lemon chicken and it was tasteless. The chicken was absolutely bland and they gave the lemon sauce separate so I thought once I poured the sauce on the chicken it would taste better but it didn't do anything to improve the taste. I will never order the lemon chicken from this place again.

Unfortunately, this is some of the worst Chinese food I’ve had. I was excited to eat here based on some of the decent reviews however, the food was not good at all and very expensive. We ordered two of the combo plates which ended up being $65. My order included the sweet-and-sour pork which was very fatty and chewy. Some of the sauce was just poured over the top instead of being mixed together. The eggrolls didn’t have much flavor and we’re very greasy not to mention the entire order was very expensive when we look at the amount of food that we got. The fried rice was OK and the lemon chicken wasn’t too bad. I wish this was a better experience otherwise we would have ordered from here again.

I should have read the reviews before i went here!! It was our first time and probably the last. I ordered a dish from the pictures one of the customer posted and the guy goes like ohh yeahh thats the only dish with green onions ill get it!! It was not even close to the picture dish!! Which he said is chicken in spicy garlic sauce something!! N they charge for food being dry or saucy!!
Anyway we ordered and the food came in less than 5 mins we thought since its not busy good but it was cold n stale!!

Other rolls had way too much rice and were way too large for everyone to be able to eat either breaking apart.
California roll had literal fish sticks in it. Not shredded and mixed with anything.

I’ve ordered from here before - always good food and recommended. But today the delivery didn’t go so well.
My driver was very angry at me for not tipping. I always order online, pay the delivery fee and add the tip online and have never had a problem. It is my assumption tip goes to driver.
However the delivery person insisted that I should give him 10%. Yelled even. When we pointed out the tip on the receipt he got madder and said he doesn’t receive that tip. So now I’m confused.
I was not prepared to pay more and the driver assured me, or maybe threaten is a better word, that next time he would have the restaurant add his $10 tip before delivering it next time.
Think it may be time to look elsewhere.

1st is, I don’t know what the heck these so called chicken balls were but they give you a hundred tiny deep fried balls of batter… GROSS. The grease on them tasted like they’ve never changed it. The noodles were gooey and stuck together. I guess the spring roll was decent but other than that, extremely disappointing and will NEVER order from here again!
The food is tasty and the portions are generous, but definitely the soul of the place is the customer service they provide, the people who work there are very kind and very friendly, we really needed a restaurant with good Pho in the neighborhood.
My friend and I went in Mobu Sushi for lunch. Only one of us ate because he was hungry but due to medical reasons I am only able to eat through a feeding tube. I decided to sit and eat with him when we went inside we sat down and he ordered for food and I didn’t. The lady look at me wish a judgemental stare, and when she came back from the back of the store I politely asked for a cup of water and was greeted with a very rude stare and hand motion! When she went back to get the water, I mentioned it to my friend who was eating, but the lady was eavesdropping on our conversation. She rudely and in an angry tone raised her voice at the both of us complaining how I had not ordered anything but still wanted water. She proceeded yapping about how this is a restaurant and not a cafeteria. To me and my friend we felt this was pretty obvious but she continued to keep pestering us. After this incident she had ruined our mood and my friends appetite and he paid for his food and we left. We will not be coming back and I recommend to do the same.
Ordered chicken red curry but it was more like yellow curry. Instead of red bell pepper, they have added green bell pepper and the curry was more on the sweeter side without any flavour. I have tried Thai express before but this place is not serving actual Thai express food.
The manager call me after I called to know if they us mSG because it’s not stated in there website. The food made me sick as I inform the lady whom answered the phone and advised I didn’t want a store credit or moneys return, just wanted to confirm because I felt sick. Had no intentions to leavea review. Anyway the manager called so rudely and ended the call on me. So I returned his call to let him know I would be reporting on site a bad review. First time ordering from this place and my last. It’s my fault I shouldn’t have tried this place. Just saying very rude and unprofessional people! Thanks for nothing!!

I got chilli chicken with white meat and gravy, the gravy which wasn't even gravy (just lots of soy sauce and corn starch) was drenched (tossed) into the veggie fried rice. There is so much sauce that the veggie rice didn't look like veggie rice, the sauce overwhelmed the whole dish that I couldn't taste the rice! I didn't even eat the meal, garbage. This place has 3.6 stars on google, I found out the hard way.
Usually order on uberats and the food has always been good. Recently, was in the area of the restaurant so decided to do take-out and the man at the counter was very kind! One of my go-tos when I'm wanting Chinese food

Just bad food, no flavor. It's like they are against flavor in this restaurant. I'm a positive person but couldn't find anything positive about this place and I really tried. Save your money.
To be honest with you, I've tasted mall Chinese food better than this place. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, and it was terrible. There was little bit of drops of red sauce on chicken and the way they cooked chicken wasn't great at all. The egg roll didn't taste fresh like they just microwaved it. The rice was okay, but that's only reason I've rated them a 2 than a 1...SMH

This is a takeout only sushi place that often has deals on Uber Eats. It's very good sushi for the price point, they never skimp on the fish but sometimes add too much rice for our tastes. We've ordered from here both pick up and delivery. The pick up process is quick and smooth, they usually have your food ready for you in 15 mins and although the storefront is busy, they move fast. However, delivery can be really slow since so many people order from here they can be making multiple stops before getting to you.
Our favorite restaurant on the north shore. We usually get a few rolls along with either a tekka or sake don. Our daughter loves going because the food is great and so are folks who run the place.
I’ve ordered from here for a very long time and today I was absolutely disgusted with every dish I ordered. The rice was overcooked and very dry chicken chow main was no flavour tasted like dirt. Chick balls had black on them, as spare ribs were nothing but grizzle Cantonese chow mein was no flavour either. Egg rolls looked burnt but dripping wihh grease. I called them to say how disappointed we all were and all he could say was baseball started and it’s very busy. What the hell does that have to do with the quality of their food. Then this man got very rude and just hung up on me. I’ll NEVER order here again. I didn’t wanna give them 1 start but had to. So if you wanna spend $100.00 dollars to throw in the garbage this is the place. Or if you wanna be spoken to very rude. Call these people to tell them how unhappy you are. This is a Good Friday and I’m so upset. 0/10. Never again. Never.

Every staff member was very friendly and efficient. I got a warm welcome the second I stepped in. I ordered a chicken noodle soup which was very nice. The portion size shocked me a little. I ordered a regular but what I got was huge. I thought it was a mistake for a second. I enjoyed the broth. The price was also very reasonable. I will be returning to try other dishes!
Recently, I decided to order takeout from Yamato, looking for something quick and easy. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The sushi was absolutely delicious, a solid 10/10 and worth every penny. The customer service was also fantastic, making the entire process smooth and pleasant. When I got home and opened my takeout box, I found a small surprise waiting for me. It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly made my day a little brighter. I'm really thankful for the kindness shown by the staff. It's these little moments of care that make a big difference. Looking forward to coming back again.🍎
We came here for a special occasion and ordered the special combo of the week which cost $188 and opted to upgrade to lettuce wraps for an additional $15. The Pumpkin Soup came with seafood, which sounds like it wouldn’t work, but it did. We were huge fans! The Peking Duck was fantastic. Pro tip: the wraps for the Peking Duck dry out relatively quickly so be sure to eat that when it comes out. The lettuce wraps were a close second. The minced meat was really tasty without being overly salty. We really enjoyed the vegetables that they added into the meat as it gave each bite an extra crunch. They used pork neck to make their sweet and sour pork which was a bit interesting. The meat was slightly tougher and the breading was cooked in a way that made it extra crunchy. The eel was as expected. Delicious. But watch out for the tiny bones. The Abalone was really fresh and cooked perfectly and packed a lot of flavor. We got an assortment of desserts that included Mango Pudding, Cookies and Red Bean Soup. It was the perfect way to end the night. All in all our experience was superb and was enhanced by the excellent service we received.
Another good HK restaurant with good dim sum in the morning. Inside seating is not small compared to outside look of the entrance . We came in Friday morning, but missed 11 early bird rate. The dim sum quality is above average with big portion, the price is above average too though.

Smoke salmon sushi tastes so good with rich flavour. The price is definitely worthy. Yamato is my favourite sushi place.

There were hardly and green leaves but the downside was that the stalks were so chewy and hard to bite, maybe the veggies were not so fresh. We had to wrestle with the stringy and chewy stalk.
Crispy wonton with sweet and sour sauce - this was good because the sweet n sour sauce had big shrimps, sliced char siu, chicken and bell peppers. Anything fried and crispy is most often a win
Crispy Chow mien with sliced pork and onions - dismal. It lacked flavour. The pork was slivers, same size as the onions. A few strands of carrot for colour variation maybe. At least it was crispy. But no, maybe order another noodle dish, skip this one.

Bad attitude, which is that if you consume less than $10 CAD it is better that you eat out.
Choose another place if you want sushi because although it is not very expensive you will regret spending there and there are better places nearby.

Really great experience. Got in quickly on a Sunday even though it was quite busy! The food was fantastic - the best beef rice rolls I’ve had (the coriander was a nice touch) and the fried noodles with beansprouts were also a big hit. We will be back! We also ordered crystal shrimp har gow and beef ribs - they were good, and the chiu chow dumplings were interesting - I liked the crunch from the peanuts.

Visited here for the first time. Quality of the food was great, as well as the service. A decent selection for dim sum. Tables were a bit close to each other but otherwise the atmosphere was good. Will definitely be back here for dim sum again.

Personally, as of now I’ve never gone inside , but the delivery service is the best I’ve had for any restaurant. Easy to order, fast and the plating is great. Have ordered a few times and definitely worth if you live within the delivery area.

Ordered takeout tonight got a decent amount of food for my family the lady on the phone was nice however she did get one of my orders wrong as I got home I noticed I didn’t have the bean sprouts order or chop suey if that’s the name in my order I am a little disappointed because of that. Other than that food the food is good like usual.
By far the worst food I’ve had in a while. I swear I could have made better food at home. Even the customer service was terrible, our waiter looked as if she didn’t want to be there and honestly I wouldn’t want to either. The only good thing was the price was half decent.

The chicken “chow mein” had no noodles! It was just watery bean sprouts and chicken with a couple of chow mein crackers on top. I will unfortunately not be ordering from here again. The dining room looks gorgeous, but it was completely empty.

We ordered the roasted Peking Duck and Stir Fried Lobster combo for 6 people. Food was freshly made. Mixed seafood soup was good. The roasted duck cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The second course was bitter melon roasted duck, and it goes well with white rice. Sea cucumber with stir fried vegetables was alright. Steamed sea bass fish was cooked perfectly, soya sauce was not overpowering. It came with complimentary red bean dessert soup, cookie and mango pudding. Overall, a good value Cantonese dinner meal for ~$50 a person.

Food was good, we order combo meal for 3 person whoever 5 people can easily eat it. Chicken pakora were not very good, however i liked the soup. The restaurant was very very clean, around 50-60 people sitting area. Not very crowded, we went on a week day for dinner. The server lady was okay, they serve food quite fast. Ordered tea, but they were out. Overall experience is good, and I recommend this place for moderate price and good food.
Great Dim Sum place at Markham area!! I came with a group of foodies, we ordered a lot of dim sum, the size of them were big and tasty, we got our belly all full.
I like that they also have some different kind of dim sum that other places don’t have.
Servers are friendly and attentive, our empty plates got cleared out promptly.
Place is spacious and clean, they even have patio during warm weather too.

Walked in ordered take out. Wait was longer then expected for one dish and wasn't busy. Waiting wasn't a big deal. It was when I got home ready to eat that I realized they gave me the wrong order. I checked the menu online and what I was given was also cheaper then what I paid. They can't even get a simple combo right.
The blandest Thai food I have ever tasted. I’ve tried multiple dishes and everything has no flavour whatsoever and tastes burnt. Chicken is so dry. Couldn’t even eat it. Not worth $16.

First time there Appears to be q nice family run restaurant,with a cute baby boy...okay the food....Very Good...I don't like breeding on chicken wings and they fulfilled my request,and much appreciated. The noodles and sprouts could have had alot more onion..but that's okay I will ask next time I go order in

Great portion of the pho, very tasty, with delicious broth! The regular was huge. Also ordered the salt and pepper tofu - it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Huge portion again. Very yummy!

I’ve been going here for years and get takeout often. The staff is so nice and welcoming. The Cantonese Chow Mien and honey garlic spare ribs are to die for! Delivery from the restaurant is so quick and the staff is so friendly. It’s my favourite Chinese food in Etobicoke! Highly recommend!
Firstly the cashier was rude. Secondly the Volcano bowl had this weird after taste. I’ve ordered the same dish at another location frequently and this didn’t even compare. Plus I guess they don’t include a miso soup anymore. I won’t be back. It’s a shame as I live close to this store!
I ordered from uber as they don’t do dine in any longer. I got the BOGO deal for yam and avocado roll. It came 12 pieces with ginger and wasabi. Overall it was great value and taste good. I like the fact that the rolls are in good size (not too big nor small) so when I picked it up using chopstick it still holds together and not falling apart.
The restaurant still has tables that block half the tables from dining in. When we came to eat here there were 2 tables only that could allow for you to dine in. I ordered my meal as this was my first time here and I was just trying to understand the menu and options and the man taking the order was rushing me which I couldn’t understand because there wasn’t anyone else in the restaurant. When I got my meal I asked if I could dine in and the man looked at me like I was crazy but obviously allowed me to dine in. As I was eating an observed a female come to get her meal she ordered and the same man taking orders was soooo rude to her and all she said she was there to pickup a order and he was like there no order here for you what order who took your order and everytime she tried to talk he would cut her off finally she was able to get her words out and say she ordered online and when she asked if cutlery was in the bag he again was rude and said how is he suppose to know if she needs cutlery he don’t just give cutlery out. Okay the. A elderly gentleman came in seen me sitting there and began talking to me it was his first time there as well and he was asking me what it was having ect. The man taking the orders started to rush the elderly man for his order and then when the elderly man sat at the only other table available the man taking the order appeared to be irritated with us dining in. Just the experience alone has put a awful taste in my mouth as customer service is very important not just the quality of food. Now the food I do find that they are a little over priced especially for a combo for one if you want fried rice it’s extra compared to other Chinese food in the area it’s pretty expensive. I just told her my order was ready through the app, and instead of asking me to wait few more minutes, she just told me in a very rude way that online orders are slow (even though all the restaurants I have been so far from Ritual are always on time), and that I should order it at the restaurant in order to have faster service.
That is not reasonable at all!

Restaurant itself is getting a bit tired, but you can see the dining room was quite something in its day. The people who run it are friendly and certainly try to keep take-out orders moving quickly when it’s busy. Loyal customer following in the area. The food is good and it’s priced reasonably.

I went with my favourite item from back then: Thai Style Beef Noodle Soup. Tastes the same way it used to, PERFECTION. I also had an avocado smoothie, creamy, smooth, light, no added sugar.

Just moved to the area and so happy to find a good local Viet restaurant that serves great pho! The broth is not overly salty and balances flavor and aromatics really well. The staff was super enthusiastic and friendly. We also ordered the fried spring rolls and the tricolor drink. Everything was great!

Writing this review as I eat. Ordered veg fried rice and the rice is very hard and not cooked. You have to chew a lot otherwise expect digestion issues. Couldn’t eat at all. What a waste. Not again. For me, quantity is not an issue it’s the quality that lacks.
Thai Express is one of my childhood favourites and still is to this day; it hasn't disappointed me after all the years. There's a great variety of authentic Thai dishes from soups to rice to noodles to stir-fry and curries. The only downside is that there are few locations left.
My go-to dish is the Pad See Ew ($15.58) which is a wide flat noodle dish with soy, egg, and Chinese broccoli-- delectable! They don't go overboard with the oil so it's not a greasy dish like some Thai to-go places I've experienced. I also favour their curries ($15.58) which are aromatic and fulfilling.

Extortionate pricing for mediocre food with small portion sizes. Ive never not regretted spending money here. Workers are very nice though.
This beautiful lil restaurant. I saw kind chef putting great care and love into the food it made the evening just marvellous. My son Matty bought me dinner! Highly recommend this place.
Luck Chinese restaurant is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Scarborough. I know there are some 1 star reviews but I disagree. We ordered the Chinese Cantonese chow mein and the Veggie chow mien. It had some amazing fried noodles with tangy sauce. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and tender. I wanted to point out the quantity and quality were perfect for the price. They did not cheat their customers by making them pay extra and getting less food. I ordered the Manchurian Tofu and Noodles. The only thing about this is that they were spicy. If you have a low spice tolerance then please avoid the manchurian side of the menu. This restaurant is great in general, the staff are very kind and the restaurant is well maintained. They make their food very quick. The food was made under 10 minutes. 5 star - If you ever find time, please try this restaurant out.
This Thai Express had a tough go over the pandemic and after reopening there have been issues with quality. That said the food is still quite good, and it looks like management is working with the franchise team to work out any remaining problems.
It was pathetic visiting this place …. Worst customer service….. the lady at desk was so rude ….. I ordered a salmon spicy sushi in which I could barely see any salmon ….. I asked if she really add any salmon she retorted “You can’t ask me questions….. no questions” she didn’t even add other ingredients mentioned on the menu ….. I would recommend not to even thought of buying anything from here ….. I was feeling like dropout my order but I have already paid ….. worst worst worst
Always one of my favourite places to try and have a classic Hakka meal, I have been going to this place for many years. Hakka food is one of my favourite cuisines because it is a mix of two culture’s and has really good spices. This place I went to is Tangerine and we ordered Chili Chicken, The Spicy Deep Fried Chicken Wings and There New Item the Shredded Tangerine Chicken. I always love the chili chicken they have with the gravy. The Tangerine was a mix of sweet and spicy and the Spicy Deep Fried wings are really good chicken wings with a burst of spices. I also always love the Bombay Chicken.

I’d give only 1 star but Giving 3 stars as the lady that assisted me was very very nice! Aside from that the sushi was pricey and didn’t taste very fresh! Rice was not correctly cooked and too much avocado for the salmon portion size. Deep fried shrimp was crunchy and dry but tasteless! The only good thing was their spicy mayo! Won’t come back.
I am a regular at the Tangerine in Richmond Hill and love their food and service. Tried out the Markham branch this week and was rather confused. First the ambience. It seems as if they are still waking up. The interior ned some more light, some freshening up. You get the feeling of entering a very old place. The service was good but impersonal. As if it does not matter to you if you are their client or not. Had two dishes, the Hot and sour soup and the Chilly Chicken. The soup was good but the chilly chicken could have been better. And the shrimp fried rice! Oily! Sad! I wonder what happens from restaurant to restaurant in the franchise. Come on Tangerine, Markham. Perk up. You have a reputation to maintain .
I have been ordering from here for many years and this place is awesome. This is my go to Chinese food uptown. The flavours were on point and nothing over cooked or soggy. I ordered sweet and sour chicken balls which have less breading than other places making them crunchy and perfectly cooked. Beef with broccoli, shrimp chow Mein. Vegetable chow mein, plain fried noodles (soft option) with soy. Pork fried rice and spring rolls. This is one of my go to orders for a family of four with large portions that would be enough for another dinner. 💯 recommended 🫶🏼
Haven’t ordered in about 2 years so I decided to order yesterday had 2 orders of chicken balls ,beef and broccoli,orange chicken, Cantonese chow mein and daily combo plate 2 which is fried rice, chicken balls and a spring roll. It was awful all of it maybe except for the orange chicken however the taste was horrible the noodles were overcooked and so soggy the rice tasted burnt the chicken balls some were just fried batter no chicken the spring roll has a weird smell I took one bite but it was awful taste I had to spit it out. I didn’t allow my kids to eat any of it I just threw all in garbage! I was so disappointed as I have eaten from here before and it was good for the price but this time it was the worst I will never go there or order from here ever again. The reward I got from trying each was a trip to the washroom most of the morning coming out from both ends.
Poor customer service. The cashier was very rude to me the moment I walked in. I ordered an item that had been unavailable, she just simply said “dont have” and walked away. It took me awhile to pick another option though I should have left and got my lunch somewhere else. I ordered a combo and asked what’s in it, she pointed her finger to another menu sticked on the other side of the cash and said “menu there”. I ended up order a combo and a small portion of takoyaki but she didn’t add it to my order 🥲

Today I ordered from these guys for the 1st time and although the delivery was very quick I'm not sure if whoever was packing at knew how to read. I had ordered general Tao's chicken It doesn't taste like that I have ordered Orange chicken what I got was something in white sauce definitely not Orange chicken I ordered spicy peanut chicken no peanuts and no spice and last but not least chicken fried rice the only dish they got correct. Although the price was good getting 3 out of 4 incorrect it's kind of a problem for me. Will not be ordering again.

Service here is awful, the waitress! Asked for hot water with lemon said they gave to charge for the lemon! Chicken wings were not the best. The chicken pakora and chili chicken were not bad. The waitress needs to get a better attitude. But the guy was friendly.

Ordered pokibowl, paid close to $20 for my bowl and all I get is a bow of soggy rice and iceburg lettuce. I get it, restaurant are having a hard time during covid, and I want to support, but you can't simultaneously RAISE the price AND cheap out on the flood!

Went to a causal lunch. Slow service. When I was ready to order, I don’t know who my server is. And also food came slowly. I ordered lunch combo. Main dish was amazing. But the chicken nuggets and other deep fried things were cold and tough. I think those were pre made. Nobody do quality check until I asked for my bill.
The Sushi Shop is a non-authentic Sushi House. Poke Bowls are currently their most popular dishes, with a choice of: Spicy Shrimp (shrimp, Kani kama, tempura, avocado, etc); Volcano (torch-seared salmon, tempura avocado, orange masago, etc); Chicken & Mango (*recommended* - chicken, mango, tempura, avocado, etc); or Veggie (avocado, edamame beans, cucumber, lettuce, etc). The seating place is limited, and the restaurant is fairly small. Service is friendly and quick. This is not an authenticate Japanese Sushi House, but the food is nevertheless very delicious, healthy, filling, and fresh.
