Osteria Savio Volpe

We enjoyed this experience so much and it truly was an experience! The team service model was greatly appreciated. We felt very well taken care of. The food was creative and delicious, with beautiful and unique presentation. We enjoyed an appetizer, salad, pasta, wine and cocktails. The restaurant was completely packed but every team member was calm and smiling. We were very impressed. Sommelier was extremely well versed in the wines and told beautiful wine stories that made you fall in love with the wine before it even hit your lips. Definitely recommend reservations!

Great food and amazing atmosphere, but there is just one big area for improvement. The waiting area is small and gets crowded super quick. The hostess didn’t let anyone know they needed to check in, and they didn’t have a system to text/call people when their table was ready, so people were forced to wait inside and it got cramped and uncomfortable very fast. We had the 5-Course tasting menu which was fun and very filling. The apple salad and whipped Burrata were unique and excellent. Steak was cooked perfectly. Great restaurant overall with some truly unique dishes with great flavor.

I love their Kale salad. It was amazing. We had a reservation but we had to wait little bit. They offer us champagne, olives and focaccia. It was so nice of them. Everything was awesome

Definitely the best eating experience we had on our visit to Vancouver. It's Italian food but completely different to any other Italian restaurant we've been too anywhere.
Our party of four had the chefs choice tasting menu. The waiter goes through a list of your food likes in advance then the many courses of food are served as sharing plates among the table. Each dish is explained as served. The food is really amazing. The service was good and atmosphere was nice. We would highly recommend a visit 👍

FOOD is GREAT but SERVICE could have been BETTER.

Was not so happy with my experience tonight. We enjoyed the food but our server lacks customer service. Forgot his name but he is the guy with the “Eros” tattoo. Asked him to recommend something from the menu because it’s our first time but instead he said “everything is good” and “it’s up to you”. Wasn’t checking up on us if we need something and did not even bother giving us our complimentary ice cream for the birthday celebrant.

Good thing we enjoyed the food. Pasta and Steak was so good. Reasonably priced given the hefty serving. Good for sharing.

I just hope they would train their staff to better cater the customers. I felt bad for the birthday celebrant and for booking this restaurant for him as he did not enjoy it because of our server. Thank God the GM was there and was very attentive anytime we needed some help for our orders. I don’t think I will come back even the food is good.

I came here with a friend here for their birthday and the food was amazing. We both really enjoyed what we ordered. The service was good. We walked in and got seated right away. My friend received a little birthday card with their kale salad recipe on the inside. The kale salad was amazing. They chopped the kale leaves into thin little pieces which made it so much easier to eat. The saffron linguine was delicious as well. So much flavour but it wasn’t overbearing. The restaurant was a bit loud but I was still able to hear my friend while we chatted. Great restaurant, with great vibes. Highly recommend coming here

Lovely experience ordering the chef’s choice set menu, getting a diverse array of dishes to try! The beet salad was a great portion size, as sometimes I feel other restaurants skimp out on the actual quantity of beets. The saffron pasta was the star dish for my wife, while I very much enjoyed the fish with the rich cream sauce. The tart for dessert was also surprisingly good, with a thin, delicate crust and a flavourful fruit and cream filling. Extremely satisfied with the meal and would recommend trying their set meal if you come in the future!
