While the staff were very kind in allowing our family to check in early, there were quite a few things that were off putting. First, the air conditioning was not working so we requested fans (which we received and were helpful). Second, the housekeeping did not clean well - the towels and sheets remained dirty during the cleanings and were not changed. Third, there were no English channels available on the TV. The positives were that our accessible room had a great roll-in shower and the hotel was within a minute or two walk to a great shawarma restaurant as well as a pizza place. The hotel was also within 10 minutes walking distance of a supermarket. Overall, the outside looked very modern while the indoors did not match.
Good experience, the hotel and the room was clean and spacious, with comfy bed, and no noise so I could get a decent rest. The lobby/restaurant area is so pretty with the big glass windows and the view!! The breakfast buffet was nice, good variety for vegetarian and healthy food aswell. Convenient location to easily get to the airport and the city, it took me 30min to reach the center by train and walking. Can only recommend!
Awed by the transformation, stunning historic & modern feel. Excellent service and posh pampering rooms. LOVE the Dyson hairdryers! Food & beverage was also spectacular.
The many 5 Star reviews on this website can't be legitimate. We stayed here three days ago. The rooms are dated, worn with a tiny bathroom that has mildew in the bathtub. The bath towels are so worn I wouldn't use them to wash my dog. The gift shop was closed the entire time we were there. Apparently someone nearby was cooking middle Eastern food and we had to endure the aroma. Also there was a charge to take the shuttle. In a nutshell it was far below normal Hilton standards.
The only good thing is the restaurant. It is pleasant and the food is good.

Solid hotel, especially for an airport hotel. We stayed here on an unexpected layover. Staff was really nice and the breakfast was solid. This hotel was nicer than some of the ones we stayed on our European trip! Shuttle isn’t free to and from the airport (6 CHF) but it runs every 20 min.
Beautiful location, and the hotel meets the quality expectations of a Mandarin. The staff was very helpful as well. The dining options are limited as the French restaurant is closed half the week and the Japanese restaurant has a seating capacity of less than 10 people. Other than that, the stay was wonderful without any issues.

On the Terrace we had only the Lunch and Day Menue at 11 in the morning.
They clearly don't care about the wishes of Hotel guests and care more about their Walk-Ins and shady guest.

Location: about 15 minutes tram rides to Zurich main station. For elderlies or people with limited mobility, using trams may not be very convenient.
Room: Clean and modern. Bathroom is quite spacious. Just be careful when showering as the shower door may not close perfectly and as a result water will splash/drip everywhere.
Food: Plenty of choices
Gym: Very small.

Overall a great experience. The service was great. We ordered vegetarian food. It was ok in terms of food.
I always stay here on my trips to Zurich and always had a great experience. The service is excellent, I really recommend having dinner watching the sunset over a delicious steak.

Extremely luxurious hotel. Really the best one in St Moritz. We visited their cafe on the terrace and what a spectacular view. Top notch service and very tasty pastries. Love this place ❤️

I had a dinner reservation, made a month before my visit, and the restaurant was closed on the day of the visit due to inclement weather. However, Thomas, the desk man claimed we did not have a reservation and could not assist us with finding a table at the lobby restaurant. When showed the email with the confirmation, he just kept sighing and huffing and puffing and waving his hands to dismiss us. Beyond, he claimed he did not know how the reservation was even confirmed or by whom! All of this with a reservation made online and with an email from the restaurant confirming the same. Terrible service and would not recommend. There are much better restaurants in the area for fine dining options that we went to after being turned away by the dismissive staff.
The rooms are clean and the shower is good. Zurich is pretty expensive and this is the more affordable one so you trade off for a less desired location. I was surprised they have a sauna room but we didn't have a chance to try it out. The breakfast is quite expensive which is like 25chf per person so we give a pass and go to my company office for a free breakfast instead.

I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Zurich Airport Hotel! The comfortable rooms provided a relaxing retreat, and the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The highlight was definitely the amazing breakfast – a delightful start to each day of my stay. The proximity to a forest for walks adds to the hotel's appeal. Overall, it seems like a great choice for a stay.

Location is convenient, a few minutes shuttle drive to the airport and then a 10 min train ride to city centre.
Hotel is nice and quiet.

Breakfast and menu selection is great and delicious however overnight menu / room service could be improved and have more varieties and options. But you can always order a delivery or get to the airport as alternative option.

I had a chance to stay in this hotel before heading to airport and I enjoyed my stay. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms been cozy and spacious, had a very comfortable bed.

Clean rooms in quiet area and suitable for families with near walk to the lake. Everything is ok except one of the young and inexperienced guys who served in the cafe terrace because of his rudeness and unrespectful behavior in dealing with us, the hotel guests.
Nothing in the world like this hotel. Whatever you need, they get. We even had a driver take us to the airport security to find our lost bag. Drove exactly to the door, and in 5 minutes we had it! Thank you Raul! Concierges are amazing, meals are above and beyond!!!! The rooms we have are adjoining. Feather free rooms. The views are unreal. My husband said he’d like to come here every year! If one set out to design the best hotel in the world fro scratch, this would be it. The eye for detail, the perfection of the product and service and the setting are unmatched.
Not at all a 4-star hotel experience. The receptionist lady at check-in is very unfriendly and arrogant. She refused to give me a room even 30 mins before check in time. I feel discriminated , because at the same time, she was giving rooms to other people arriving at the hotel.

It is not at all worth it as there are better deals at other hotels in similar price range.

The rooms are a decent size and the service is great, especially the concierge he was friendly and nice. It’s close to most of the tourist destinations about a 5 to 10 min walk to the shops. And they have a great breakfast service in the room or the breakfast dining area with a nice view from it. The rooms have a great view as well of the river.
This is our 3rd Motel One to stay in and like the previous 2 it was very comfortable and friendly. Unfortunately the bar prices were very high.
If you like to chill in the bar in the evening with a bottle of wine or a Gin and Tonic you will need deep pockets.

The Mandarin Oriental Palace is beautifully appointed and recently remodeled. Very stylish decor. Maids organize all your things, and leave little gifts. For example, they wind up your phone charger cables and secure them with hotel branded ties that you can take with you. I was reading a book, and they left a beautiful tasseled bookmark in my book. Kimono robes are in the closet, bathrobes in the bathroom. View of Lake Lucerne is excellent. We will stay again.

Great location for business trip and for shopping . The room size was pretty decent and clean. Helpful staff and great service. However, the lack of a kettle, room telephone and an iron box in the room was something I really missed particularly because I was on a business trip and stayed for 7 days.

The Zurich Hilton hotel location is great. The staff is nice. The rooms are very bright and big and the bed is comfy.

Amazing hotel with wonderful and friendly staff. Due to the high standard we were surprised when the room was not serviced until we called at 6pm on our second day. Also, the shampoo, conditioner and soap containers were all missing from the shower after a service on the third day.
Beautiful hotel with superb location. Rooms are very good & specious. Breakfast is amazing. But the hotel doesn't provide water bottles in the room moreover no kettle, no toiletries except liquid soap. Breakfast is good but nothing is prepared fresh.

A wonderful stay thanks to the very warm welcome. Each and every colleague was kind, friendly, efficient and went out of their way to anticipate our needs. Thank you to the concierge team for organizing the bicycles and for the great spot to swim in the lake. We had wonderful dining experiences and congratulations to the culinary teams and service teams.
Spent two nights here and the experience was great! Room was nice and cool and overall the service was good. The location is a big plus as the public transport stop was very close. The lounge's prices were quite steep but as Zürich is an expensive town, nothing abnormal here. Recommended 5/5.
No iron in room, no room service or housekeeping available if you need something, not even a phone in the room to call the front desk. Some rooms are a good 5 minute walk from the lobby requiring an elevator ride up, a super long walk and then stairs down a flight. Stupid!
Nice and visually pretty. Rooms were large for families but small bathrooms. Lacks aspen basic amenities of many other hotels in region. Breakfast was not included with our stay. No hair dryer. Our experiences with boutique hotels has been a little better and same or cheaper pricing. Good location for getting to trains and buses with only a short walk.

We stayed at Badrutt's Palace in June. Our room had a balcony facing the lake. It was perfection! We were picked up and dropped off in a Rolls Royce/Mercedes Benz. We were taken to and from wherever we wanted. The concierge went out of there way to help/arrange our destinations(including free rides on trams to mountain tops and local transportation). The pool was large warm and beautiful. It included nice sized towels and free water. The staff were the best part. What made our stay unforgettable was our waiter Lucio. Lucio is a consummate professional who recommended the perfect touches to every part of our delicious meal. We will miss him and always think of him as our friend.
The Hotel should check the professionalism of their security services, last night there was almost a disaster at the zurifest because of the crowd avalanche in front of the hotel. The security service was horrible and acted against any crowd avalanche protocol by sending many people who had slipped through the garden fences back into the crowd.
Next time instead of hiring bad looking and unfriendly security, hire people who have a minimum of technical knowledge of what they are doing.

Fantastic! The food was outstanding. Our waiter was super friendly and we got to learn all about his home in Spain. Super cool! Make a reservation, even for lunch because it was quite busy!
Great restaurant in the heart of Zurich. The service was professional but sometimes I felt the waiter was not listening but in a hurry. The dishes were delicious and the design of the restaurant is timeless and elegant.
We stayed May 2023 for 2 nights. The hotel was nice, I would say we are still satisfied. The guy at the bar was extremely rude the moment we sat down. He kept asking my husband to repeat correctly “Switzerland/ Swiss” while my husband has an accent and has a hard time pronouncing some words…among other things. Was okay towards me, not my husband from the start so thats a bit of confusing logic. Completely unprofessional and rude, ruined our night and the whole overall impression of the hotel.
Expensive for what you get. Asked for a twin, given a double. Bathroom door doesn't actually shut. Very basic rooms. Curtains let light in from the massive windows that look directly into other people's rooms where you can see people getting changed!

Some Swiss staff were perfectly pleasant but the Indian ones were racist towards me and I overheard them calling me a racial slur after speaking to 2 at the reception desk. Unbelievable, unforgivable behaviour. Tried to report to management and they were Indian as well, and even more rude. Avoid avoid avoid if you're white!

This hotel is by far one of the best stays I have had in the world. The building is beautiful, it’s close to the lake with stunning views throughout the hotel, and the service was impeccable. It is in a class by itself.
We just spent a few days at the Baur Au Lac and we had a wonderful stay. The food, service, hotel rooms, and location are first class. We will definitely stay again at this hotel whenever we are in Zurich.
Our stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Luzern was magnificent! The hotel itself is so exquisite and the location is perfect! The hotel is positioned on lake Luzern with the boardwalk out front. This makes for a delightful and easy walk to town square . While staying we were able to borrow a few bikes to get around when we were tired of walking. The breakfast buffet was so good. We had dinner on the patio where the chef was cooking our food at an adjacent outdoor kitchen which smelled wonderful. The food was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. The rooms were lovely, serene, and very clean. All of the staff were very friendly and eager to be helpful. Top notch service in every category! We can't wait to visit again! Thank you to all the staff at Mandarin Oriental Luzern.
Price-performance ratio is not right. It is only beautiful from the outside. The staff is arrogant and not helpful. The prices are simply unbelievable. The worst thing was that you don't feel welcome.

My husband and I stayed in June prior to a Viking cruise. I did not encounter a single staff member who was not cheerful, attentive and energetic. The luggage handling, housekeeping and breakfast service were excellent. The front desk staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Its a lovely property in a great location. Highly recommend.
This is a first class hotel, the reception staff are excellent and very helpful. Rooms are great and the beds very comfortable. The staff also went the extra mile in the afternoon and allowed us to sit on the terrace for drinks. Really appreciated this. Had a meal tonight in the restaurant and was disappointed, what surprised me was the way this was handled, team took responsibility and acknowledged the issues. Thank you, it made a difference.
Does not warrant the title of a 4 star hotel. The rooms are very tiny, no toiletries provided. Have to request for refills on coffee sachets and nothing gets automatically refilled. I see no attribute that makes this a 4 star, having stayed in multiple properties around the world. The good part, the location is close to many restaurants and there's a tram stop right nearby.
Our first time in Zug and what a delightful experience it was that we found that we booked one of the nicest boutique hotels we have ever stayed in. We had a beautifull small appartement overlooking the lake decorated in an style that made us feel at home and with an eye for detail and quality. The weather helped and sitting on our balcony early evening was a delight. Giovanni Melis is a great host and starting the day with him at the Taube restaurant with good breakfast and properly made coffee gave us the right energy for the rest of the day. Brilliant. Our little girl always gets spoiled here, so loves coming to get a special warm reception. As usual, we were seated at the Manager's 'family' table, perfect as always. Authentic local restaurant in the heart of the city, on the edge of the old town with a really great kitchen. We shared a fish and meat main course and as always super impressed. Also took an asparagus cream soup and a Knopf salad with a super tasty dressing.

Beautiful spot for a drink or aperitif. The best is the garden to enjoy the view and nice weather. They only have low tables outside so it’s more kind of like a bar / aperitif kind of place.

The spa has a huge pool and a generous number of special spa rooms like salt room, almost room, two saunas, aroma room, relaxation room etc. There is also an outside jacuzzi with a view on the lake. You can order food and drinks directly in the spa if you wish. Their service is outstanding.
The Palace has a lavish lobby area where you can enjoy tea, drinks and light snacks.

It is opulent and at the same time classy and private. The rooms are so ridiculously gorgeous and they open to the most beautiful view of the lake.
Just being in the lobby and parts of the hotel is enough to transport you.

This is an amazing hotel to stay at. Amazing staff along with great service too. I love that the hotel is right in the lake so your very lucky to have an amazing view! I really would love to come and stay here soon!
Elegant, classy hotel in a beautiful city. Our room was the height of comfort and style and we were so relaxed, lovely to come back to after days exploring the city. Although we didn't dine in the evenings at the hotel, the breakfast was amazing, fantastic choice both hot and cold, all delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive and we were made to feel very welcome. I hope I have the opportunity to return! Thank you!
THE place to stay in Zug; whether you are for business or pleasure! We stayed 4 nights for a vacation with my 2 years old son and I definitely couldn’t be more thankful for the amazing hospitality! Everything was great starting from the rooms, food, location (1 minute from the lake) and the very attentive customer service! They went to above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable… I wish all the hotels had this approach!

Hotel is nice, it has been newly renovated and it has a nice vibe to it, the location is central but I am rating it one star because of the restaurant. Avoid the restaurant at all cost, service is poor staff not trained, food is average and overpriced. Also please double checked your bill we have been charged for items we didn't even order and when flagged to the waiter we didn't even get any sort of apologies. Overall not a good experience I won't recommend
A truly delightful experience in a magical location, the hotel has been painstakingly restored in exquisite detail and is an absolute triumph. The owner couldn’t be more helpful, nothing was too much trouble and his Italian heritage reflected in his very personable service. A genuinely pleasurable experience that I very much look forward to repeating, bravo! ❤️
Good Restaurant! Beautiful ambiance and a good selection of dishes. Some dishes (mainly the risotto and the pumpkin soup) could use some flavor enhancing.
Service was top notch, though for some reason the waiter insisted that I should have a salad when I tried to order the soup. This was especially odd given that he allowed my husband to order the soup with no objections.

Great Swiss food served in a traditional restaurant. Delicious dishes, fresh ingredients. The rosti was too salty though.
Interior was nice. Service was attentive. Highly recommend the truffle risotto! We spent 140€ for 1 starter, 2 mains, 1 water bottle, so pricing definitely on the high side.

I hadn't been to the Bienengarten in a good 25 years, not since my in-laws invited us there to celebrate a round birthday. Then, out of the blue, it occurred to me that I liked it back then and wondered if it was still good. So the hubby and I went to visit a distant memory.
A lot has changed but the best parts haven't. Back in the day, the Bienengarten was where the upper class of the Zürich Unterland went on special occasions. The main dining room still has that charm with its wood paneled walls, white table cloths, and real silver flatware. But most importantly, the menu is iconicly classic. There are wonderful meat and fish dishes, but also kidneys and milken which you really don't see anymore. Everything is prepared and served to perfection. If you want to feel like nobility, this is the place.
However, if you are in the mood for a terrific meal but not a formal evening, the front room serves the same menu in a brightly lit more casual atmosphere. They have also added an event room fit for weddings and there is a lovely garden for good weather dining. All in all, the Bienengarten is a very good reason to take a trip to Dielsdorf.
