A great place to be. Alone the architecture is worthwhile visiting. A seemingly endless moving stairway brings you to the Foyer. From here you can ascend to the entrance doors to the concert hall and to the windows from where you have a beautiful view over Hamburg in all directions. The music performances which take place in the concert hall truly are world-class.

Sonst sehr voll
Near the exit from the underground tunnel, a wonderful view of the city and the river
One of the iconic and uniquely styled Building in Hamburg. We just visited the viewing deck/floor. While you are expected to buy a ticket but you don't pay anything. The view is good, you can spend maybe 20-30 mins here. Nothing great apart from that.
I flew here from Belgium to hear Joshua Bell perform the Tchaikovsky violin concerto and Mahler symphony 5. It's a concert-going experience that I've never expected to have in my life. The building is magnificent both inside and outside. The view from the plaza makes it very worth it to arrive one hour early just to enjoy all the lights of the city & harbour as well as the calming sight of the water. The acoustic of the grand hall makes me feel like my previous classical concerts were a bit... muddled? Every sound in the hall was clear, I think it definitely amplified the performance perfectly. Joshua was... a beast. Since every sound can be heard so clearly I truly admire how he was able to articulate the music so beautifully and accurately from the beginning to the end. I'm glad I travelled a long way for this live classical music experience...

Just one paid toilet, strange situated, is ridiculous for a shopping center.
It's a nice trail traversing through the beautiful forest. The view of the castle, lake, and the town from here was stunning.

This was an awesome tourist attraction! Not only is it a fantastic use of space, has amazing views of the city but it's FREE! It's actually on the roof of a mall, there are many places to eat and all kinds of stores including an the American Food Club where you can buy goodies from North America
Views are pretty awesome, and a stunning piece of architecture to say the least.. You can walk all the way around the observation plaza, so 360 degree views across the Hafencity, Port and beyond! It's free entry up to the first plaza, it has toilets, shop and a restaurant, so some great facilities if your unsure if it's worth the trip. A great little place to take some pictures if your on a budget, want to kill some time or just love ships and dockland. You might also be able to catch an orchestral view 😉. Recommended.
A lesser-known yet rewarding pitstop: the Panoramic View Schwangau. Situated on the road linking Neuschwanstein Castle to Marienbrücke, this viewpoint may not boast the grandiosity of its neighboring attractions, but it has its own subtle charm. It’s a lovely place for shutterbugs eager to capture both the castle and the surrounding landscape from a unique angle.

It might not be a show-stopper, but the vista provides a delightful backdrop for photos that you’ll likely treasure. Sometimes, the best scenes are found in the most unassuming places, and the Panoramic View Schwangau is a testament to that. So, do consider taking a moment to pull over and snap a few keepsake photos; it’s a small detour that’s well worth the time.
Elbphilharmonie Hamburg is an architectural marvel! From its stunning glass exterior to the breathtaking views of the city and harbor from the Plaza, it's a must-visit attraction. The acoustics inside the concert halls are exceptional, making every performance a memorable experience. The combination of modern design and musical excellence creates a unique cultural destination in Hamburg. Don't miss the chance to catch a concert here – it's worth every moment!

Pleasant place for a break from the city with some views across.
It's free, there's plenty of seating, climbing frames and a table tennis table. Check out the viewing platform near the main entrance.
Entry is through the car park.

Went to 2 concerts during a 4 day visit

Pros:
The large hall is quite impressive. The visibility to the stage was great even though I was sitting at the upper levels. Supposedly, all 2100 seats have maximum distance of 30 meters to the conductor.
The acoustics were great as well.
Beethoven's violin concerto performance was very nice.
The smaller recital hall good acoustics. Visibility of the stage was good even from the back.
Website was easy to use and book tickets.
Allocate extra time to enjoy a walk around the Hafencity neighborhood as well as the 360 view from the main floor of the venue.

Cons:
There are a lot of steps after the two escalators. If you are mobility challenged, then arrive early so that you can queue up to take the elevators.

The bathroom at the main floor (after the two escalators) is inconveniently located. There are additional bathrooms as you enter either the two concert hall areas.

A nice view, with a cool tunnel to go there! Definitely worth a visit
Cool view of the Riverside, worth the walk through the tunnel which is good enough to visit by itself anyway.
Einfach ein schöner Platz
One great viewpoint when walking to the castle to overlook Schwangau and the mountains in the back.

Great lake and good views all around it! Lovely hiking trail close to the water
Is an interesting visit, after the tunel you have the view from the other side of the Elbe river. I recomend doing it during spring or summer though. It can be quite windy
The better part of visiting the Alte Elb tunnel. There is food, beverage, places to sit and enjoy the view of Elbe and Hamburg.

This castle was built for King Ludwig II of Bavaria. it overlook the lake and has an amazing view of the surrounding. The castle is so huge and it take a while to complete the tour of the castle. One can either take the bus or the horse carriage up to the castle. Alternatively, one can also walk up to the castle on foot but that will be rather tiring as the slope can be quite steep. The journey could take 30 mins to an hours, depending on your ability. Also, please be reminded to purchase the entrance tickets to the castle well in advance to avoid any disappointment as there is a limit to the number of people who can visit.
Great views of hohenschwangau and the mountains behind
What a great view of the city. It's next to the exit of the Elben tunnel. You can have a baverage or snack from one of the two sellers here. Being there with my friend during last Eastern. We've met local fellow here and we chat a little about living in this city. It was definitely the best piece of the Hamburg taste.
From this place one can view the full stuttgart city... and way boarder.

Cool place for relax and feel the fresh air ......
Amazing place in Bavaria
You will see the good view when we you walk belong the river

For just 3€ it’s absolutely worth it! The stairs are a bit narrow and it might be awkward to meet someone travelling in the opposite direction. The platform is a bit narrow as well, but I guess you can’t do much about either of those things 😅.
The entrance is separate from the main church one and the museum, you can buy the ticket at a small kiosk behind (on the river side) and you don’t really notice the door to get in until you’re pointed to it.
Final warning: in some points inside the ceiling is really low, be careful not to hit your head.
Elevated observation deck, located up on the Kehrwiedersteg (there are stairs up here on the Am Sandtorkai street). This observation deck provides nice views of the Sandtorhafen and Elbphilharmonie.

Super schöner alter historischer Turm in Korbach.

The best skyline views of Frankfurt! Period.

Great addition to the cathedral tour is the climb to the tower and enjoy stunning views of Frankfurt. Climbing through the narrow twisting staircase (over 300 steps) was a bit challenging even for me. There was not much space to avoid other visitors - one must stop and wait for others to pass - therefore the walk up took me some time. At the platform, there was not much space either, it was hard to avoid/pass other visitors (especially the ones with backpacks) and it could be a bit claustrophobic for some. Seating at the stone ledges of the cathedrals tower was available.

The views are simply spectacular, amongst my favourites of Frankfurt! On the west side you can see the 200 meter tall concrete giants guarding the small, but pretty, old city center af the forefront. Southern part overlooks the artery of the city - Main river - and the European Central Bank dominates the eastern horizon. Apart from this, you can see residential parts of Frankfurt that are not really interesting.

It is easy to get here with U-bahn - afterall the station here is named after the cathedral. Ticket office is located behind the cathedral (no tickets sales inside the cathedral), towards the Weckmart - the side of the cathedral facing the river. Tickets can be purchased only with cash payments and costs 3 EUR, which is a bargain for what you see from up there!

Definitely a great place to enjoy the awesome views! Visited in June 2022.

Visite : fin septembre 2021.
Or was a unique experience walking 450meters under the sea level in the tunnel originally constructed in 1911😍. Going up and down in such huge lifts is cool😇. The view of the port on Elbe on the other side of the tunnel is just wow. 😘
A majestic temple, in the middle of which the coroners of the German Empire were executed for a long time. Very simple lines without ornaments. The truth is that I was waiting for the church to be most impressive for its role in the history of Germany!
The best place to the get the most amazing view and experience of the Old Elbe Tunnel. German technology at its beautiful best since 1911. Free entry. Great concept for walking and cycling incorporated.
Mein Gott, esta maravioso.
The sight is worth driving to see it.
A lot of stairs to climb and if you have breathing problems don't try it 🙃.
The view was a bit hazy from the tower but it started clearing up.
The imbiss that was there had some great brockwurst and different 🥧 slices it was worth splurging myself.
Pictures don't see everything our wonderful and great eyeballs see so it really gets the eyes excited.
You probably won't like it so don't go just stay home watching TV or lounging on the couch.

Schöne Ecke von Kehl in der Nähe zum Rheinufer
Great spot to see the castle but somehow I expected a bit more of the spot itself. View is great but it’s just part of the walkway where they put a telescope which you have to pay for to use
The Tower is open from may - sept. during the weekends. It has a great history and also a great view over c
Canstatt/Stuttgart and the wineyards. Across the tower is a parking area(free).
Enjoy the view there but also enjoy a long walk by the wineyards. There is lao a Bus station.
Nice place with wonderful look

Open 9-12 and 13:15-20 ( Sundays 13-20 only), free entry, Tower €3 p.p., parking and metro very close. Here the emperors of Germany were elected, red sand stone construction in gothic style. At this point, so to speak, is the nucleus of Frankfurt, right next door you can see the excavations of Roman buildings. It is worth to climb the tower, you get a magnificent view.

Amazing views of the city and a great way to appreciate the detail of the ornaments at the top of the tower. It's worth the excercise of climbing the spiral staircase, just bear in mind it is very difficult and very long without a rest, not recommended if you have any sort of impediment.

We found this place while driving around. Great spot to stop and enjoy the view!
