Loved this place, you can find pretty much everything you need in one place for Asian cooking. The shop is large,with more or less "sections" for different countries ingredients. It's a bit on the pricey side, but that's the norm in Germany for foreign ingredients.
Great asian supermarket with lots of choices. Always stop by here when I’m in the area. Can be a bit stressful shopping when it is busy as there is not much space to walk around. The red bean dessert I had was not so good. The red beans were super dry with no flavour same with the dough itself.

A very convenient Asian market located in little Tokyo. It's not the cheapest market but they have a good choice of Japanese and Korean products. They also sell fresh fish, vegetables and some lunch boxes with tempura, etc. I definitely recommend it! Just 100 meters from Dusseldorf bahnof.
Nicht der größte Laden aber auch gut. Es gibt ein paar einzigartige Sachen, findrt ihr bei der Fotos, die ich aufgenommen habe. Ich wünsche euch einen schönen Einkauf.

Delightful little Asian grocery shop. The focus is on Korean food, although Japanese also features broadly. Both fresh and frozen produce is available. They have a very small section of cutlery and dishes. I really like the chilled food such as tofu and the kimchi. Worth a visit if you are in the area and need any kind of ingredient that a German supermarket won’t sell.
They have a wide variety of products. But I had a bad experience… I’ve ordered some seasoning and food over 60€, and some of them were leaked, so all the products were soaked when I received them. My email had been ignoring for weeks, then they replied to me that I needed to send them more details photos, off course I already thrown them out because it was smelling bad. At the end, they offered me to return 3.5€ for the product which leaked but not for the other products which soaked.
One of my favourite Asian markets in Düsseldorf. Great selection of Korean and Japanese things. Fairly big place, usually very busy. You can find freshly prepared snacks like sushi, bean sprout pancakes, taiyaki, yakitori, etc. Sometimes they have fresh rice cakes. Good frozen food selection.
Best Japanese market in Düsseldorf! You can find everything here. I particularly love the takeaway food options - bento boxes, takoyaki, mochi, sushi, fried squid and prawns + way more! Fresh vegetable section is also great. You can find all of the typical Japanese vegetables here.
I recently visited 'Bazaar by Khan and Sons' located at Schützenstraße 1, 35398 Gießen, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The store presents a welcoming atmosphere with an incredibly friendly owner who makes shopping there very pleasant. The selection of items is truly international, offering a variety of goods that cater to diverse tastes and needs. Whether you're looking for exotic spices, unique international foods, or cultural artifacts, this bazaar has it all. The convenience of having such a wide range of international products available right in the heart of Gießen is remarkable.

I buy my favorite bento with mackerel here, it‘s so delicious. I love this place it has plenty of the essential Japanese grocery items including beverages and liquor. There are benches outside where I can eat snacks/food bought here. The onigiri is meh.

I paid a scouting visit to this supermarket that I’ve long heard rave reviews of. I instantly regretted ordering my rice cooker from Amazon, seeing that Hanaro carries a few solid models at reasonable price points.

When we private make sushi, then I prefer to buy all items here. Especially the salmon and tuna. Fish is in best quality and 100% fresh.
It’s equivalent to Hmart in the US where you can find almost everything you need to cook Korean food. They also sell a lot of banchan and cut fresh fruits 😍😍😍
Lot of things from Asia available there but rate is little bit higher than expected. Specially thailändischen and Chinese are in large quantity.
Please remember no credit card, also no debit card. Only cards like giro cards which do not have extra fees for them are acceptable, of course also cash. In my case I have 2 giro cards in Euro and 1 giro card in CHF. If I want to pay with Apple Pay, all these 3 giro cards are shown with master sign(means that they are debit card) and not really acceptable in this shop. But usually I don’t have my physical card with me. And last time I had to pay with Apple pay, the owner was very unhappy about it and told me next time it will not be acceptable.

Ich hatte bereits mehrere Pakete bei diesem Laden abgegeben, der verschiedene Paketunternehmen wie UPS, Hermes und DHL anbietet. Leider hatte ich dort nur negative Erfahrungen gemacht. Beim Versuch, ein Paket über DHL zu verschicken, stellte sich heraus, dass der Laden keine Waage hatte. Der Besitzer meinte genervt, es sei nicht seine Aufgabe, eine Waage bereitzustellen, und ich müsse selbst entscheiden, welchen Versand ich wähle. Ich brachte mein Paket schließlich zu einer anderen DHL-Stelle, wo mir das Wiegen problemlos ermöglicht wurde. Da frage ich mich, wie kann man mit so vielen verschieden Paket Unternehmen zusammenarbeiten, aber keine Waage haben.
Auch bei einer Retoure über UPS hatte ich Schwierigkeiten. Nach ein paar Tagen hatte sich im Sendungsverlauf nichts getan, aber ich dachte, dass es schon funktionieren würde. Nach 15 Tagen überprüfte ich erneut den Status und stellte fest, dass das Paket immer noch nicht abgeholt worden war. Ich kontaktierte den UPS-Kundenservice, der eine Paketsuche startete und mir empfahl, im Laden nachzufragen, ob das Paket möglicherweise dort liegen geblieben sei. Als ich im Laden ankam, traf ich erneut auf den unhöflichen Inhaber. Ich bat höflich darum, nachzusehen, ob mein Paket noch dort war, aber er weigerte sich und empfahl mir erneut, mich an den Kundenservice zu wenden. Ich erklärte ihm, dass ich das bereits getan hatte und sie mir geraten hatten, persönlich vorbeizukommen. Er zeigte keinerlei Bereitschaft, mir zu helfen. Ich äußerte meine Meinung, dass er offensichtlich zu faul sei und keinen Bock hatte, nachzusehen. Daraufhin antwortete er mit einem Lachen: "Ja, das kann sein", und ging einfach weg. Am nächsten Tag erhielt ich eine Bestätigung von UPS, dass mein Paket angekommen war. Als ich den Sendungsverlauf überprüfte, stellte ich fest, dass mein Paket etwa eine Stunde nach meinem Besuch im Laden plötzlich verschickt worden war. Was ein Zufall, dass mein Paket, dann plötzlich verschickt wird. Ich frage mich wirklich, was in den 15 Tagen zuvor mit meinem Paket passiert ist.
Mein Tipp: Wenn ihr keine Zeit habt, euch mit solchen Problemen herumzuschlagen oder keine Lust habt, dass eure Retoure verloren geht oder verschwindet, sucht euch bitte eine Alternative!

I came here many times and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. The interior and atmosphere is amazing and calm and the selection of goods is fine too. I always love to come back here.
A good place to shop! I recommend it! The service is friendly and helpful, whilst the cashier was very customer-oriented; usually you can only pay with card from 10€ onwards, but he made an exception for me, which was very nice!
A minus is that there are only a handful of parking spaces that are full quickly so there are very limited options to park. For reference, I bought basics like Vietnamese rice paper and a Chinese peanut butter sauce. I will for sure buy here again, it was only 6,6€ in total, which considering that the goods must be imported and have long transport routes is very decent.

It's a good place to shop for some Asian goods but so few Filipino goods.

We love to cook Korean foods at home and Kim Asia Supermarkt has a pretty complete selection of Korean spices, sauces, and also fresh ingredients (such as: raddish (rettich) and homemade kimchi), they also have some products from Japan (Kewpie Mayonnaise), Indonesia (Indomie), Thailand (Kwetiau), and Singapore (Yeo’s Chili Sauce).
The homemade kimchi is so delicious, we never buy the commercial kimchi in packaging anymore since we found that Kim’s Asia Supermarkt sells the homemade one!
We can pay in cash and also with card so it is very convinient.

Friendly English speaking owner and not afraid to have a good talk. After 3 years we finally ate good, freshly made kimchi again! Fresh dumplings were also nice and a lot of choices for Korean groceries to cook Korean meals. If you are looking for a Cuckoo rice cooker, this is the place!

It's a lovely small shop with a lot of products inside! I'm not a German speaker (I'm from France) but they good in English ! So foreigners, don't be afraid to go inside. :)

I love this shop but the opening times are wrong? Online it says that its open but i just went there and it was closed?
Glad to see such a variety of stuff in Giessen. I would highly recommend everyone to visit and shop at this grocery store.
Visited the shop today for the first time. I found all the ingredients for the dishes I wanted to cook and some additional items. I can highly recommend going there. The shop is lovely and the staff is very nice and they help where they can. Best korean shop that I've been to in Germany so far. Definitely not my last visit!
Has all the vital Asian ingredients. Fresh veggies and frozen seafood as well.

You could say it is the best of its kind that's because there is only this one. But in all seriousness the place has good collection and good service.
Not much Indian groceries available. Whatever is available here, is already available in kaufland and edeka. We just need to search for the required items in Kaufland and edeka.
Love this shop. I always buy cilantro, beansprouts, soy sauce, rice papers.... I also bought a nice fan for the summer there hehe
They have many South Korean products, so if you are looking for kimchi, jajamyeon, soybean paste, sesame oil, seasoned seaweed etc, this place is perfect. You can also find great sushi rice (among many other different types of rice), frozen black bean steam buns, frozen mandu.. just basically everything in a small market. I love this place. The price is also quite good.

Asian specialty store selling mostly Asian groceries and fresh vegetables like pak choy. You can get frozen durian, frozen seaweed , etc. Wide range of instant noodles. Parking is a problem here. You can park at Allmandstrasse or in the vicinity and walk to the shop.
This Asian specialty store is run by a hardworking friendly Asian lady singlehandedly . She has a wide range of frozen and unfrozen stuff for sale. Her service is good. Parking is available around the store. Opens on Sat from 9:00 -3:00 pm.
