Amazing staff and environment!!!! Best place to workout for sure, also great protein snacks in the vending machine. There’s a ladies section that I really enjoy some days.

Ich mag das Studio einfach.
Mittlerweile seit über einem Jahr da und alle dort ins Herz geschlossen - speziell die Mitarbeiter am Empfang. Immer wieder ein Highlight dort trainieren zu gehen. Klar gibt es auch Mitglieder die bzgl. Handtuch und Kleiderordnung maximal aus der Reihe tanzen - aber wo hat man das nicht? Man darf nicht vergessen, dass es sich hierbei um eine kostengünstige Fitnesskette handelt. Würde dennoch niemals wechseln. Sehr zu empfehlen im Gegensatz zu Ludwigshafen oder Käfertal.

If it had not been cooperating with my previous company, I wouldn't have joined, or at least, wouldn't have stayed with them for 23 months. Ever since the studio at Mannheim E closed down, the studio P7 has always been crowded. What is more annoying, they turned the only small ladies workout area into Men's changing corner (only separated by portable room separator). Then I could not do workout anymore since the public area is always full of people. Basically I have been paying the same fee but getting much less for my money.
The problem arose when I wanted to cancel my membership. I went and talked to the employee at the reception in mid July 2023 about my cancellation. As I was moving out from Mannheim and quitting my company, I wanted to quit membership by end of August. So, the staff told me that I had to write my cancellation on written form. They gave me a piece of paper and a template to write on. Since it was difficult for me to read the handwriting from the template, the staff (a female), helped me to write it and I had to only sign it at the end. So, it was confirmed by the staff that my membership would end by end of August 2023.
Now on September 1, they deducted money again from my bank account. I asked for a refund from my bank app and my money is back. I also emailed them, explaining that I already handed in my cancellation in July. Then I got 2 emails from them:
1. Asking me to transfer my membership fee for September since they couldn't deduct my money.
2. Telling me that my membership would end by 31 October 2023.

I cannot accept this since this is their staff's mistake that she or they didn't take care of my cancellation. Why should I be responsible and pay for their mistake??? So I sent another email to them, telling them that I refuse to pay because this is their staff's mistake. And this morning they replied back to me, asking me again to pay for my September fee. Another email sent telling me that "out of goodwill", they confirm that my membership will end by 30 September. I mean, the audacity of them saying "out of goodwill"???? this is RIDICULUS!!!! Why would I need their goodwill when I have done the procedures for cancelling my membership as they asked and they keep bothering me about paying just because their staff didn't do their job well?????

If anyone has the option to choose which gym to join, keep Venice Beach, especially Mannheim P7, out of your options. Believe me, it's just NOT WORTH IT!

Es wird immer schlimmer hier. Überall nur kaputte Geräte, die dann teilweise wochenlang gesperrt sind! Siehe auf den Bildern schon die Spinnenwebe. Wenn man die Mitarbeiter darauf anspricht, reagieren sie teils genervt.
Bitte kümmert euch um die Geräte. Meistens gibt es auch nur ein Gerät pro Übung. Konnte heute deshalb schonmal drei Übungen nicht machen….

Gym it’s quite nice , I liked training there for some days . The daypass costs 15€ , the gym it’s clean , and you can only do your workout with a normal T-shirt , no bodybuilding shirts , no tank tops , not but only normal T-shirts , wich I respect and it helps maintain a certain level .
The only downfall it’s a young woman that stays at the reception sometimes, I don’t know if she was in bad day or mood , or she’s just like that , quite unfriendly, everything she could say was “ no , I don’t know , that’s impossible , no way “ , quite annoying. The world it’s already so complicated, let’s try to be easygoing , it’s free and harmless .

Alte heruntergekommene Einrichtung. Geräte veraltet oder defekt. Zu wenige Geräte auf der Fläche. Das soll ein Premiumstudio sein? Für Kurse vielleicht in Ordnung. NPC Atmosphäre.

Das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit. Sonst alles recht lost.

Ich finde die Atmosphäre im Almenhof super - Habe bisher nur gute Leute getroffen. Ich finde auch bei Hitze kann man es dort gut aushalten, wenn alle Fenster offen sind, geht immer ein angenehmer Luftzug. Dass 24 Stunden am Tag offen ist, ist super für Alle, die Flexibilität brauchen. Ja, das Personal berät nicht aktiv beim Training, ich weiß aber auch nicht was die Leute bei dieser Preisklasse erwarten. Man muss schon wissen, was man tut. Für mich ist dieses Studio das mit dem besten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Mannheim.

Very nice space, also great ventilation during summer, but the only problem is people not putting back the dumbbells. There should be announcements from time to time to tell everybody that, place the dumbbells back to their designated place !!

Seltsam, Männer dürfen nicht ärmellos trainieren während viele Frauen im Sport-bh zu sehen sind.
Das nenn ich mal Gleichberechtigung!
Bis auf die Kabine und die unsortierten Gewichte mag ich das gym sehr, da das feeling im gym durch die leute (auch das Personal) sehr gut ist

Gutes Studio, angenehme Mitglieder und Personal. Alle Geräte die man braucht vorhanden, ein aufgeräumter Freihantelbereich. Ladies Area ist absolut super, könnte aber noch etwas erweitert werden um 1-2 Maschinen für den Oberkörper. Auch sollte der Ergometer ausgetauscht oder durchgecheckt werden, da dieser doch recht laute Schleifgeräusche erzeugt was die im Cardiobereich nicht machen. Der Geruch im Damen Umkleidebereich ist allerdings wirklich schlimm. Da sollte etwas getan werden.

No change over time between group classes gives you that true commercial big box gym feel. Having to wipe the sweat from prior clients' mats before starting class is the tradition.

Bestes Studio mit einzigartiger Atmosphäre im Raum Heidelberg Bzw. Um nicht zu untertreiben im Rhein- Neckarraum.
Alle Trainer sind motiviert und sehr erfahren auf ihrem Gebiet, sei es der Kampfsport oder im Kraft- Ausdauer Bereich. Hier ist einfach für jeden was dabei, auch nach einer Sportverletzung findet man hier den richtigen Ansprechpartner. Ich fühle mich rundum wohl und gut betreut.

A good place to achieve your workout goals. But a little disadvantage of this gym is that they do not have air conditioner during summer and this is their premium gym (which means membership is more expensive) while their normal branch in P7 is air-conditioned.

The worst mcfit gym i've tried. Dirty, smelly, most machines were out of order, lack of areas to do your own workout on the mat. Only one shower. On top of that the workout I wanted was cancelled, you should at least announce it in the app! Waste of time. Not recommending it.

Die Trainingsmöglichkeiten sind super, im Grunde sogar besser als im Pfitzenmeier/Airport. Leider hat die Pfitzenmeier-Kette aber anfang des Jahres beschlossen, in allen FitBase-Studios die Saunen zu schließen - angeblich, um sich auf den "sportlichen Bereich" zu konzentrieren, de facto - natürlich - um Energiekosten zu sparen. So eine einseitige Leistungskürzung sehe ich überaus kritisch, zumal die Mitgliedsbeiträge beibehalten wurden.
Sehr "gemischtes" Publikum, aber nicht unangenehm.

Ein sehr großes Studio mit vielen Geräten. Die Möglichkeit 24 Stunden zu trainieren ist ebenfalls klasse! Die Kurse die ich bisher alle besucht haben sind anspruchsvoll und bringen die Leute definitiv zum schwitzen. Preis Leistung ist definitiv Top!

I'm working out in this studio since 4.5 year. My experience is very good, staff and people are very cool, cooperative, energetic and motivated. All in all I'm satisfy with the Studio.

wenn man in ruhe trainieren will, dann optimal. Die mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett.

I've been going to this gym for a couple of years on and off. The facilities and cleanliness are really great for the price you pay, furthermore the staff excellent: experienced; helpful and pleasant. They make the experience worthwhile for me.

Leider hat sich das Studio die letzten Monate negativ entwickelt, Geräte werden lange Zeit nicht repariert, die Sauna wurde geschlossen, Duschen/ Toiletten unhygienisch, Beitrag wurde davor erhöht. Insgesamt kein schlechtes Studio allerdings qualitativ deutlich nachgelassen!

Nachtrag: die abgebildeten, beschädigtenGeräte wurden mittlerweile zeitnah repariert/ ausgetauscht 👌👍

Is very nice, but some of their rules make little sense to me. Doesn't really effect the training though, they have everything you need. (PS: go in the morning or at noon if you don't want a crowd)

It has become very crowded due to the changes in E1. Also in the past there used to be a women trainings area and the sauna was exclusive for women. The gym was advertised as Frauengym, which was the only reason why I choose this one. Now everything is mixed, all curses and training areas are crowded, really a downgrade. I will cancel my contract as soon as I can.

Great 24 hour gym, has a wide variety of excellent machine brands (Nautilus, Cybex, Prime) and powerlifting/strongman equipment.
Love going here when I am in town!

Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Geschäftspolitik hat an zufriedenen Kunden anscheinend wenig Interesse. Seit diese Firma das Studio übernommen hat, wurden die Leistungen sukzessive reduziert: Kurse gestrichen, Aufguss in der Sauna zunächst reduziert, dann gestrichen, Saunazeiten eingeschränkt, nun wurde die Sauna geschlossen. Kurz vorher noch die sog. Mitgliedsbeiträge um satte 20% erhöht. Wie nennt man das ? Wenn die Trainer nicht wären, hätte ich gekündigt.

Good sized gym albeit often really overloaded.
The air is always smelly but you get used to it each time you come in, after about 5min.
They do have massive AC vents sprinkled throughout the floor but by now I'm convinced those are just decor since if it's cold out, the air is even smellier and if it's hot, it's unbearable inside.
But open 24/7 so that's nice.

Freundliches Personal, saubere Umkleiden & Duschen. Leider liegen Hanteln und Gewichte überall im Hantelraum verstreut rum. Wäre gut, wenn jemand vom Team hinter her wäre, damit die Leute das auch wegräumen. Ansonsten an sich gut ausgestattet & geräumig.

UPDATE: Auch Wochen, nachdem ich zwei Mitarbeiter unabhängig voneinander angesprochen habe, hat sich die Situation bezüglich der herumliegenden Hanteln und Gewichtscheiben nicht verändert. Auch räumen die Laute nach dem letzten Satz ihr Equipment (Hantel, Stange, Gewicht etc.) nicht weg. Geht man zu Stoßzeiten trainieren, muss man neben Warten dann auch noch alles zusammen suchen. Und gefährlich ist es noch dazu, dass die Leute die Hanteln aufeinander legen. Das nervt wirklich. Auf Rückfrage meinte der (nach eigenen Aussagen) Geschäftsführer, dass er es aufgegeben habe, das Problem zu lösen. Ich solle mir doch Mal angucken, was für ein Klientel hier trainieren geht, da braucht man nichts erwarten. Nun, was soll ich dazu sagen? Ich gehe auch hier trainieren und in meinem Stammstudio in Mainz klappt das auch alles wunderbar. Von mir daher nur noch 2 Sterne.

Great gym, family atmosphere and friendly staff

Two big issues with the place.

1. In summer, the place smells bad. Windows are located on only on one side of the facility therefore there is no natural circulation of the air. The A/C and air freshner machines are weak to support the area.

2. They have a fine print on the back of the contract that states automatic extension for 6 months. Therefore, if you are signing up, please put a reminder to send cancel notice one month before the end of the contract.

On my contract they printed [Grundlaufzeit: 30 Woche(n)]. The sales man told me it only for 30 weeks. Due to lack of my German, I did not read all the details on the back page and trusted the sales man. Their team is not transparent and clear in communication. DO NOT TRUST what they say. They are essentially salesman speaking subverted truth.

I’m membership of Hitness center, they are well organized training schedules, they have nice equipment in the gym related to workout, And boxing Coach are super cool friendly, every boxing class you learn something technically, they are the best ;)

Absolutely phenomenal gym! I come from the United States and honestly have never seen a gym fully decked out in the best equipment. This gym has all prime machines which is all I could ever ask for. It’s extremely clean and very cheap for all the amenities you get. I am extremely shocked by how good this gym is, I could only dream about this back in the United States. Only downside is no air conditioning but it’ll take time to get used to. I moved to Heidelberg last week and I am very glad this is my main gym. Very friendly staff just nothing could be better highly impressed.

Hallooo Leuteee cooles Studio und im Vergleich MC Kefferthal (alte Schreibweise dieses Stadtteils) schicker. Meistens ziemlich voll. Parkplätze vor Ort. Können auch mal voll sein. Ganz nett, aber etwas klein der Lounge Bereich am Eingang - beim Automatenkino.

I could not agree more with the people who say this place smells and isn't aired out properly, and as a gym why does it not have something like aircon? Or if it does, they're not using it, especially on these days when it has been 30+, it's like trying to work out in a sauna. Otherwise, I go late at night so there are less people and I don't have to wait to use the machines. I usually see people cleaning so that part is okay too, but better air circulation would be nice.

Update as of 29-AUG-22: I received feedback from McFit about this issue, as follows:

"Thank you for your inquiry to McFIT Germany. I have taken over on your request as part of the customer care team.

The temperature in our studios is controlled via the ventilation systems in the rental properties. We have a uniform standard in all our studios. However, it may be that the system has a defect or the temperature setting has been changed.

Seasonally, the outside temperature can also cause fluctuations in the temperature inside the studio. Therefore, I will send your request to our responsible gym manager and to our facility department to find out if this problem is known. If this is the case, possible steps for a repair have already been initiated.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us."

It just not worth it! the gym is always full, you have to wait to use the equipment, the air conditioning doesn't work well and there's no fans, the service is not very welcoming. When I enrolled, I didn't receive any guidance or information about the gym's policy, but surprisingly an employee interrupted me in the middle of the exercise, in front of everyone at the gym so I could put on a T-shirt. According to her I couldn't wear bh Sport because it is the policy of the gym - a policy which I have never been introduced to - and that despite being the policy of the gym, I have seen men working out without a t-shirt, and the photos available at the gym are with models wearing bh Sport, the situation was extremely annoying and unpleasant, I have never felt so humiliated, so I decided not to continue.

Best gym in town. Friendly staffs and the gym is not that crowded even near lunch time❤️

Super nice! Used the gym space for a day while passing through, anything you’d need and good equipment (same brands we use in Australia, felt nostalgic 😂) Everybody very friendly :)

Ich bin treuer Kunde hier schon seit Jahren! Die Geräte haben sich seit der Wandlung und Partnerschaft mit John Reed sehr stark verbessert. Das personal ist wie immer super drauf hilfsbereit und sehr lustig. Auch immer verständnisvoll wenns mal um etwas ernsthaftes geht. Ich fühle mich hier sehr wohl und bleibe hier auch noch ein sehr lange Zeit. Ich gehe hier mit Kollegen ständig hin. Das gesamt Erlebnis ist immer auf eine guten Niveau, die duschen und die umkleide ist immer recht sauber. Die Geräte werden gepflegt und es schau immer jemand das alles sauber bleibt. Ich begrüße solche Leistungen! Weiter so Mcfit! Top!

Great gym facilities and great people! Helped me out with training during my visit here. Highly recommend!

A very nice, clean and well organized gym, right in the city center. You can easily reach this gym by tram or even with a quick walk from the train station. The staff is friendly and, even though I don’t speak German very well, they’ve always been happy to help me in English. All the equipment is easy to use, some even have instructions and names in English, which is awesome for internationals.
There are also plenty of treadmills, bikes, elliptical machines, and stair steppers to satisfy your cardio needs.
The showers are always clean and warm water is always available. The lockers have a decent-size storage space, but bring your own lock.
Definitely a gym I recommend!

UPD: I changed my rating from 3 to 1 star because today I was literally waiting for about 20 minutes to get on a treadmill. In the meanwhile, 3 devices have been staying out of order for several weeks (see the picture). I chose this studio because it's close to my place, but today I decided to cancel the membership, luckily I had a monthly membership with the studio. I will rather travel farther, but exercise in a more spacious gym with better maintenance. Also I have to mention that it stinks unbearably, the studio is not aired out properly. The smell was awful every single time I was there.

The studio is quite small and easily gets crowdy and smelly, especially on weekend. Some equipment is often out of order. Overall, the studio is not awful, but is also not really good.

Well, honestly, it's so good
As advantages + most important point that has wheelchair accessible entrance and it's in downtown so if you live in the center is perfect for you
Clean and totally new machines from different brands for all body parts that will meet your needs, and there is a free style area where you can do calisthenics and use the bars.
As disadvantages - One thing that I can't understand which makes no sense that women are allowed to wear Tank-tops, but men aren't
I've no clue why this is.

The gym is really nice and big but the lights inside the training area are too low it is a bit annoying to be honest

OutdoorCircuit hat eine übersichtliche App, die eine einfache Buchung von Kursen ermöglicht. Hier gibt es super freundliche und kompetente Trainer, die immer ein abwechslungsreiches Training anbieten. Das Training macht Spaß und alle Teilnehmer motivieren sich gegenseitig.

Just to explain why I gave one star. Basically I signed one year contract, and when I went to cancel after one year, I was told it auto-renewed for another six months. This was never communicated with me when I joined, and I assumed as I've experienced before, that after that locked time it would be a monthly contract.

Just to be aware when you sign here, maybe I can help someone and avoid a similar situation.

Edit: To clarify after the response. I put the review about a year ago, I thought to explain why I gave one star now to be more fair. Also phone contracts did not auto renew for six months, at least not any I have ever had. Good to hear you stopped with this anti-consumer practice.

Bad customer service. The class trainings get cancelled without a notification. Also it’s extremely warm in the summer and cold in the winter, there is no AC or heating

It's one of the best gym for workouts...

The equipment is great (nothing I miss and much I don’t even know :D ), the atmosphere overall fantastic, the sauna after every workout chills me down, parking spaces are always available (at least downstairs), although pretty crowded around high-time on weekdays (5-8pm), the staff used to be even friendlier and greet you, but still is, helps wherever they are needed and puts on a good soundtrack to your workout in case you forgot your headphones...
Overall, 5 stars, best gym I‘ve been so far :)

Good equipment, plenty of space and good choice. The only things to improve :
- Girl’s toilets are alway smelly
- Shower is more like a Spreyer for flowers, water is like a steam not a flow

The gym is great but be VERY careful with the people working there. They're very incompetent and will mess up all the administrative work. They have created 2 accounts under my name. They dont save my yearly document submission and they wont stand up for their errors.

Great gym. I come here every time I am in Heidelberg. Clean and organized gym, friendly staff and owner. Excellent thaiboxing classes, perfect for personal training, functional training or just a gym workout.

Bad gym the plates are out of place it looks like chaos!
I am a long member of this gym and i always put my weight plates back to the places!
Its not clean
its dirty
toilets are horrible!

A bit crowded at times, but it has all you need to train and it's always very clean.

Everything is clean. Material is new. Showers system are a bit inconvenient.

The good: best selection of strength equipment in a VB outside Karlsruhe.

The bad: no sauna events with oils, unlike other VBs in Sinsheim, Karlsruhe.

The weird: new no photo/video rule, so you can't record form checks or document PRs.

Usually busy but the gym has great conditions and equipment. The staff is nice as well.

Located in the center of Mannheim it provides all kind of equipment that make a modern gym. There must be another location of Venice Beach in the city of Mannheim, but This one can be reached with public transport from all directions. Staff is always friendly.

Clean and well equipped. Staff speak perfect English

Trainers can be more helpful instead of thinking about your money.

Awesome place, assorted training facilities, ready to help personnel, nice swimming pool, sauna, and energetic atmosphere!

I used to love this gym. But somehow today I’m disappointed a lot. The windows are wide open to create a draft. I wouldn’t call that healthy. The equipments are old and the sauna is closed because of renovation. I hope they finish it soon because the sauna area is a highlight here. And please use the air conditioner instead of creating draft. It blocks my muscles. I don’t want to get back spasms.

Pfitzenmeier city airport is much better

Super Trainer, sehr nette Trainingspuppe. Hier wird auch gegenseitig motiviert.
Das Training ist sehr anstrengend und daher auch effektiv. Man merkt nach kürzester Zeit schon Fortschritte. Echt empfehlenswert.

Sehr kompetentes gutes Training mit der passendenden Motivation an der richtigen Stelle.
Trainiere jetzt fast ein Jahr mit Joshuar und habe eine wahnsinns Verwandlung hingelegt.
