I used to love Clamato, but I think popularity has ruined the resto or just a loss of direction.
Today I left hungry and disappointed. First off, more than half the dishes on the menu were cold or raw, and some like ceviche in the name you know will be raw when ordering. But others like the scallops had vague descriptions and I assumed they were cooked. Same with the fish. But what I ended up with was a bunch of similarly raw seafood dishes. Small plates of basically sashimi. Look at the photo of the scallops. 45 grams?? Of scallop for 24 euros and I ordered 2 of these not knowing. Nothing else. All tasted similar- dressing with olive oil + acidic slight variations. The worst? No accompaniments or greens. For the price of the dish, at least put some accompaniments with it. Or offer a salad on the menu so guests can order it.
Also the coques came lukewarm, which was a bit unpleasant. After our meal, I was not satiated and wanted to order some kind of salad or vegetable. But how can you order something that does exist on the menu? My options were courge or eggplant, which I did not feel like eating. I ended up eating a lot of the bread. This menu was a complete miss.
Interiors are still very cute, and quality of food is very good. But they need to rethink the menu. More hot food please!

Unpolite stuff (man), we came at 20:30, (restoran closing time is 22:00), They didnt let us (4) to sit without reservation even some tables were free. He even didnt came to us bit was yelling accros the restaurant. Terrible approach toward customers! Recommentation to the owner: read bonton, its french invention. 🤣

Must try baby prawns for appetizer, it’s so fresh and good! oysters are fresh too at affordable price. Both regular and long legs crabs are sweet and great of course. Thumbs up!
Great restaurant in the harbor of Brest. My gang and I spent a cheerful evening at Le Crabe Marteau, all that crab eating ritual, the grilled lobster or the perfect fish soup shall not be soon forgotten. Was so great that we closed the restaurant cause the staff was really nice not to rush us out. Which is a rare attitude in France. We are still laughing when we remember the answer we’ve got from the waiter when we asked for the drinks menu: “I am the menu”. Ok, so what kind of wine do you have? “White, red and rose!”.:)))

Absolutely fabulous seafood platter in a fantastic setting. Service was superb, the wine was excellent and the food just fantastic. We had an amazing evening and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! 5 stars all the way and worth every penny!!

Awesome seafood restaurant. The main meal is based on different types of crabs: tourteau or araignée (spider crab). We had tourteau and langoustines (a type of prawns). Everything is served with boiled potatoes and very tasty sauces.

A nice change of pace in a Paris restaurant. A reservation is recommended. We made ours a few hours before our dinner on a Saturday night.
My wife is a crab lover and thought the crab was one of the best she has had.
The service was fast but not rished. The staff very accommodating and helpful.

We had a great meal here on our way back to the UK. There were 8 of us (4 adults, 4 children) and ate outside with amazing views of the hustle and bustle of the harbour.
The meal was a highlight of the trip, super fresh seafood that didn't disappoint. It's also worth calling out the quality of the kids menu - the older kids ate the muscles and the smaller kids had 'fish and chips' which was a delicious fillet of seabass expertly pan fried.

As the name suggests, the menu is almost all shell fish.. There was one steak main course.
No vegetarian on the menu.

Very tasty food, great view and fantastic service. Everyone who served us was really enthusiastic and friendly. I asked for a small change to a set menu and they were also accommodating. Overall great experience!

Products are excellent, the prices are fair (formules -with 6 oysters, pink and gray shrimps, rillettes, whelks- between 20 and 23€). Different kind of wines at at all -and correct- prices.
They even agreed to serve a children's menu to one of the people at the table because she didn't eat seafood. Which is very commercial!

Ok. If you like crab & langoustines and great service. Have the house white wine. This is a great place. If you are a San Francisco crab fan. This beats it. Have the have tourteau and langoustine. A Paris Brest for désert with a poire Willam and enjoy. Make it a regular place if you are not going to Brittany.

A must to go in La Rochelle. Amazing food, very friendly, professional and helpful service with reasonable price. Special thanks for teaching me how to properly eat crab:) They have many tables but considering that it is a hot spot, I recommend to make a reservation, we could reserve a table for 2 for the same day. Oysters and shrimps were our favorites.
Excellent food and friendly service. We sat outside so it was the usual bustling street side vibe.
We had a delicious lunch here with our two children. The menu is very oyster-heavy as to be expected but there is also a small child’s menu. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was incredible. Try some of the different oysters if you can - we had some No 2s and No 1s and you could really see and taste the size difference. Our eldest son ate them with no issues but our six year old struggled a bit - the last suggested that next time we ask her to get him to try a Number 4 as they are much smaller and they make a nice fuss of the child trying it which usually helps the child’s first experience. We’ll be trying that next time. Definitely visit this place if you are in town or do a detour to visit it - we travelled from Mont st Michel and it was definitely with the trip.
Really fresh oysters and seafood. White wine (Sauvignon Blanc) was delicious. The restaurant is very comfortable and there was enough space too.
Service was not great: we had to ask for absolutely everything: water, bread, more food...We did not get plates to eat which made us use our napkins (so we had to ask for extra napkins). This can be improved.

Sadly my wife was diagnosed with Campylobacter after our meal, suffering Gastro Enturitus for the last 2 weeks before the NHS tested samples, predicting probable cause poorly prepared chicken. 3 others in our party were fine after eating fish dishes. A nice modern French resturant, attentive staff, nicely presented plates. Put it down to bad luck.
It is not a restaurant with the view to the harbour, like all the other here around, but it is a restaurant with a flair and a charm. It feels like sitting in the backyard with friends.

Trotz großen Andrangs wurde man schnell und zuvorkommend bedient. Das "Menu Du Jour" war sehr lecker, frisch und reichhaltig. Der Fisch des Tages, ein Wolfsbarsch, perfekt auf der Haut gebraten.
Es war auch kein Problem den Nachtisch noch mal umzubestellen. Das "La Siesta" hat mehr Sterne verdient.

Popped in for a Cider. Nice vista overlooking breach. Not open all year round and gets busy during holidays in summer
They were short staffed when we went there. We had to wait for the table, then waited for the order to arrive, longer than usual. Overall it's not bad. Oysters are fresh at reasonable prices.

I so enjoy this restaurant. If you don’t feel like fighting the crab, try the monkfish. It tastes like lobster. The crab is just fun. It is delicious. Take your time and it is worth it.
My 2nd time to eat here and had an amazing experience again! Food was great and the staff was super cool! I will definitely visit everytime I’m in Paris. 👍🏼
I haven't had a tajine since visiting Morroco. This took me back 30 years. If you visiting Royan and like North African food I can't recommend this enough.

Worst food we had during our week stay in Royan. My partner started vomiting on the table with "poisson du jour". No-one seems very concerned about his health. I also asked the waitress about my dish which the waitress described as "bouillabaisse", however it was not a fish soup and the fish didn't look fresh. On paying the bill at the till, still no concerns from the boss who stated that the food was freshly cooked and was not prepared to be challenged.

Food was not fresh. I vomited after eating the bream. No one was concerned about the terrible food or my health.
High quality of the food, highly recommended. It was not too expensive for the offered quality and taking into account the location. The server was really nice and took care of us. One of the chefs, Emil, if I remember well, was really nice explaining to us the dishes
Wonderfull food. A lot of crabs and langostinos. We really enjoyed rustical eating and best crab dishes I had for a long time.

Amazing and fashionable place to eat. The neighborhood is beautiful and there are other spots to eat and drink vine around. The service was great, they spoke English and even had the menus in English. The waiter really explained every dish to us and the food itself was truly delicious. The plates are smaller so I’d recommend sharing multiple between people (one plate is too little for one person). Also, don’t hesitate to ask for bread (it was included in the bill and they filled our table with bread all the time). Highly recommend!
Nice and cosy location in Paris for oysters and seafood. There is no advanced reservations allows and you have to come early to put your name down. Good selections of oysters and clams.
An amazing meal, and one of the best we had in Paris. We had Monk Fish, crab, oysters and asparagus and a great sparkling bottle of red. All the food was amazing, but the monk fish really was something special. The wine was great, and after our meal we carried the bottle over the road to the cave to finish it off.
Stay away from this place!!!!The worst experience with a restaurant!!!The food is not fresh and the taste is horrible!!We asked what kind of fresh they have and the answer was mackerel!When the food come the fish was cooked from frozen fish and it was ordinary fish!!We asked one waiter and she told us that its fresh mackerel 😂😂 they have to take some lesson to make the difference between fresh fish and frozen fish.Also the soup was not fresh…anyway never go there!!!
I can’t recommend this place enough. Amazing service, hospitality, and THE OYSTERS!!! They’re the best and freshest I ever tasted. I came here last summer with my boyfriend near closing time, and the lady boss welcomed us with great pleasure. She took her time to recommend us the menu and her recommendations were spot on. She was so hospitable the whole time. Even when we were the last customers, she was very patient with us, and even strike a few conversation with us. It’s my first time in France and this restaurant gave me such wonderful memories. I would love to be back here some day if I visit Cancale again.
Had a dinner without reservation. They were kind to let me sit at the bar. Very warm service. I couldn't speak French. They tried to explain to me in English and gave good recommendations. I will give a 👍just for the service. The fish soup as entrée was very tasty. The seafood was fresh. The price was reasonable. Definitely will come back again.

Very good restaurant.
I think it's overpriced. They have a menu set which makes the prices barely acceptable (21€) but that's still a lot for the portion per dish.
Very positive experience, food was decent but mostly the service made our stay there (extremely kind and friendly waiteres who peeled the fish from bones for my partner) and answered all our questions about the menu with peace. The location is super nice, just next to the 2 towers in the port. Evening service starts at 19:00, I recommend to be there at this time sharp as the tables fill very quickly.

Definitely worth making a reservation for this pavement Cafe La Place de la Fourche. Stefan our waiter was very attentive. All of our menu choices were well presented and fresh.

A lovely kurb side restaurant serving fresh seafood. On a sunny day you'll be sat outside on a small square enjoying a platter of lovely seafood (oysters, crabs, prawns etc...) and a lovely bottle of wine. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the dessert is worth going for. It's the simplicity of the dishes that make this place standout, it's all about the quality of the ingredients which this place nails. A joy to come to!

The service staff was overwhelmed by the number of guests and they were only 5 for over 100 guests. On top of it we discovered that only one cook manned the kitchen which explains it all. However the experience was still a good one with courteous service and tasty food. Thank you

Amazing food, excellent service and great ambience. Our last vacation dinner in Paris before we head back to USA tomorrow and we are happy we chose Mandarin to be the finale. Ordered Pineapple shrimp, Mongolian Beef, sweet and sour chicken and all were really tasty. Chicken fried rice and Spicy Bejing soup was also very good. Thanks for making it a memorable night for us.

As aperitif we had a plateau de charcuterie and it was not good as well. The cured meats tasted not fresh. I we did not finish the plate as we were worried not to become sick during our outing. Staff was fine, nothing worthy mentioning but were not able to provide further assistence after speaking out about the lack of taste. Not recommended.

If you just want to try the oysters of Cancale, this is the place to go. There are not many other options on the menu, only the boulots and shrimps, and there is also the kids menu. But the oysters are very-very fresh, straight from the farmer. The prices are really low. The staff are super-friendly and speak English. The setting is really nice.

Very good quality seafood at a pretty reasonable price. We've eaten here several times and have never been disappointed.

Lovely seaside restaurant with the care taken to produce top quality food at a reasonable cost. For the price of 21euro I had the couscous tagine with three meats. When it arrived I was taken aback at the size of the meal for one. In the end my wife helped me to finish it off. Topped off with a bottle or wine. Hats off to the owner.

I’ve lived in China, so I have very high standards. Not bad. Dumplings ok. Pork good. Fried rice was great. Extremely friendly service.
Great place for seafood lovers! It has an interesting concept: no formal menu, waiters just tell you what they have today and you have to choose. We had oysters and crabs, all was just perfect.

Nice atmosphere, great champagne list. The food was the worst we have had in this trip and also very expensive. The rissoto was tasteless, however the scallops in the rissoto had a nice flavor and the only thing I ate. The gambas with spices were unedible, mostly overcooked and unappealing, the rice that came with the dish was overcooked and mushi. Won't recommend.

Original restaurant. Crab meals served with wooden hammer. All customers given a cover to protect them from seafood juices! All seafood served is caught the same morning. Beautifully fresh, tasty and not expensive for the meal. Great waiter/waitress service, knowledgeable, willing to accommodate all requests. Super. Top.

Very friendly service but some food over cooked. People I dined with asked for medium steak and it arrived well done. My salmon was a little dry but the sauce was good. The rice that came with it however tasted like rice I've had with a meal on a flight. The fruit sorbet was amazing however, absolutely amazing. The chocolate ice cream dessert waa disappointing, do not order if you are a chocoholic as it just tastes like cheap chocolate ice cream with lots of whippes cream on top! All in all, the atmosphere waa good but the food was kinda average.
