Loved the collection & prices are decent - not too high not too low. Definitely better alternative than Etsy

An exceptional member of staff served me - Jo-Ann, she went out of her way to get an item from upstairs for me & honoured a voucher even though the Internet had gone down - great service 👍

Bought a Christmas present for my daughter and it was one of the things she really wanted. Pressed the buttons and it didn’t work. So opened the battery compartment to find one of the battery components completely corroded. So now my daughter cannot use this present until we’ve got a replacement. Not a happy customer.
Poor experience,ordered grandson dino little tikes car for Christmas,went to build it up the instructions were screwed up and ripped,the screw box had been used and half empty and some parts had tried to be built ,some bits missing
This must be the best online buying experience I’ve ever had : by far the best price for my beer kit ; comprehensive information sent by email at every stage of the buying-delivery process ; each can of wort individually wrapped and in perfect condition ; only two days between purchase and delivery ; delivery made with time to spare on the timetable given ; no disturbance made at delivery : parcel left as intended inside my front porch without a sound . The store itself is wonderful; plenty to choose from, clean and spacious. In all honesty it reminds me of Toys'r'us from when I was a kid. What really makes it though is the staff. We were greeted by a pleasant chap at the door, and then as soon as we got to the push chair display (the reason for our visit) we were approached by staff member Natalie who offered us help and made us aware of her presence should we need anything. We took her up on her offer and she was fantastic - she got the desired items for us to test run, she knew an incredible amount and was wonderfully helpful, and just all round lovely. Props to this store, for its stock, layout and staff. Fantastic experience.
My partner and I went pram shopping today. As first time parents, we were a bit overwhelmed with options but had seen one online we were keen to look at and knew Smyths had it in stock. Although we weren't looking to buy yet as we are just looking around for options, we were helped by Natalie, who was absolutely fantastic. She immediately saw us looking at the pram we liked and offered assistance. She took the pram off the display and showed us everything we needed to know such as how to change each part, folding the pram, what came with the pram, how to change covers and clean etc and was able to answer every question we had. We feel confident about going back to Smyths when we purchase the pram and hope to see Natalie again. This is the best experience we'd had anywhere when looking at prams, even going to places that specialise in giving parents test runs on prams and not a single member of staff even approached us at these places.
This is for the company in general and awful online customer service. Do not order anything online as once you order they are the most unhelpful company out there. Would not let me change deliver address and then would not let me cancel the order. A joke as they also did not come back to me yet when I said I wanted to complain. AVOID ONLINE PURCHASING!

Definitely improving their stock with a very wide range of craft goodies, more card making / paper & card please. Good customer service. The guy on the till told me about the app which was very useful.
It’s not my favourite of the stores but it is pretty big and isn’t too blandly laid out. I was hanging around the cricut machines looking lost and at least 4 team members walked past ignoring me. I ended up speaking with a member at the till who was really helpful so that certainly made the visit better
In my experience, I've always had a very pleasant shop here. Staff have always been helpful and moving around keeping the place nice, which makes it easy to find someone to help. Always a pleasure.
Staff member Becky has helped me twice on my visits with a wonderful smile on her face. Knew a lot about the stores products and has made me come in specifically for the service when I could get the same products online easier. Becky managed to guide me with what to buy for my level of knowledge of the items I have purchased

Quite a nice store. Lots of choice. Can be busy at weekends but the tills are staffed and you get served quite quickly. Any art and craft product you could want as well as model train accessories, model paints, model glues and quite a selection of plastic model kits.
Brilliant service. My glass demijohn arrived in perfect condition as it was packed with expert care and delivered within two days of ordering. Same quick service with my stainless steel kegs etc. They arrived the next day!

Shopped there recently twice. On both occasions, two different members of staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help me get my click and collect stuff to the car - without my having to ask! Don't usually review, but these guys were exceptionally kind and accommodating.
We went to Smyths in Gillingham to look at prams and car seats for my sister. We was assisted by Vicky and she was absolutely amazing! So knowledgeable and really easy to talk to and ask questions. She was so patient with all the questions we had and the prams we wanted to try and showing us how they work. She was so honest about which prams would be easiest for my sister. She definitely cared more about us getting the right pram than getting a sale. She made the experience excited fun and easy. Cannot praise her enough and I will definitely be going to see Vicky when I need to pram shop! Will also recommend her to all friends and family looking.
I’ve feel like this Hobby Craft has become a second home while I’ve been working on various projects. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable and ready to give a helping hand. While it’s often easier, and sometimes cheaper, to shop online it’s always a treat to go in store and be inspired by things I never knew I needed!

It's the best it has everything I want all the time, funko pops, sensory toys, video games,skateboards EVERYTHING. Its always cheap to. I got a skateboard for £9 and I can get funko pops for as cheap as £5. Fidget toys are usually less than a fiver. EVERYTHING U WANT ALL OF THE TIME EXCELLENT QUALITY AND PRICES!!!
I'm still discovering new sections to the store. My primary need is for bits and pieces to enhance my free style embroidery and the card frames to transform my embroidery into greetings cards. A request, please will you stock cream cardboard frames, as well as the pure white? I think you used to do?

We bought and Mario car with an controller but the lid off the control er would not open also when we open the place where you put the batteries and took the batteries out there was water in the batteries and we have tried to turn it in but I won’t work it’s a waste of money especially when the car was expensive
I always come here to play Warhammer games, Matt is helpful, really looks after us, full of great advice and I feel very lucky to have this store nearby.

Love this toy shop and of course, so do my children!! So much choice and good deals on toys and baby stuff as well. Its nice to have 1 place to get everything! They also do computer games and some consoles
Here's a review from me about The Hop Shop in Plymouth because I think good, honest reviews aren't thick on the ground these days, with carefully designed questions from the supplier - and answers also by the supplier that you, the consumer are invited to tick and are not allowed to say what you want, and they contain lie after lie after lie. Well - first, I can PHONE The Hop Shop! Person to person! We use first names to each other. It is untouched by the culture and remoteness of big business. You, the customer are the most important focus for The Hop Shop, for Peter and Michelle, whom I have spoken to there. Even if I'm only placing a small order. And it will be dealt with quickly. Michelle posted the last one to me on her way home, and it arrived here in Cheshire, from Plymouth, the next morning! They're the nicest and most diligent people and suppliers you could wish for.

Mark was excellent in explaining the bike purchasing procedure and even better for an extra £10 it came ready built, he did a full safety check on it and adjusted it to how we wanted it. Came with a 12month warranty and a 3 month free safety check. My sons very happy with it and recommend it.

Absolutely disgusted with the customer service of the manager... Bought a toy yesterday and when I got it home it was not working... Tired several brand battery's and didn't work.
Took it back to store and annoyingly the toy worked. Asked for a refund due to the intermittency of the item or exchange and was denied!
I was 'given' store batterys as a goodwill gesture by the manager ......
Argued that he expects me to keep coming to and from home whenever it doesn't work and his simple answer was yes but if it works in store then tuff luck!!!
Upon putting In the new batteries the rep started to bend over out of view... I didn't think much of it and then he hadn't come back up. Lent over and asked why is he hiding - can I now assume it's not working?!?
The agent seemed to be trying to get it to work before giving it back (as he could see it was a intermediate issue) which really annoyed me.
Managed to get my refund and then upon using the baby changing station realised that was broken too! The unit where baby lays bends down to the floor too much so I had to use my knee to stop it dropping. I did report this to a agent so hopefully this will be fixed. Overall not a happy customer!!!!

Clean store and friendly staff. There is so much choice here even for game consoles. My younger son loves the dinosaur range here. Highly recommend going to this shop!
A huge variety of dolls. The sales happen and can be very good, but most of the time are minimal (about 4-7 pounds savings). Wish there were more dolls not from America and that certain dolls wouldn’t be as overpriced. A pleasant store overall, but there are better places in terms of prices and doll selections
Great selection of international dolls. Very fair prices and frequent sales makes it the best toy shop in Stockport. The staff is also polite and helpful.

Every child’s dram land smyths toys superstore.. i have visited this place a few times now, they need to make payment tills more clear visible and convenient, there is no proper queue line here , apart from that everything is fine
Wouldn’t recommend this place. Miserable looking giant on the door playing security guard. It’s not a night club mate it’s a children’s toy shop. My 6yr old son had saved his pocket money to buy a new bike he wanted and was told be 3 days to have one made up which would then be the end of the half term! Annoyed as they already had a fully functioning one available. If you Upset him then you upset me. We will never come back. Poor customer service. Avoid.
Great little shop with a little bit of everything - the manager is always so helpful/passionate and gives lots of tips for building and painting the minis. The displays there are incredible too!
Got a faulty toy for Christmas, just wanted an exchange and couldn’t find the receipt. Asked the manager and he “looked through the transactions” and “couldn’t find my receipt”. Even though I told him the date bought, time, and card used. So I’m now left with BROKEN TOYS FOR A 2 YEAR OLD.

Great place to get toys and plenty of other things such as games consoles and bikes. Also have a baby section for prams, car seats and other stuff. Used this store loads and never had any issues. The only complaint which has absolutely nothing to do with the store is the car park, especially around Christmas time, as it gets very busy as there is only one way in and out.
Love this store. My lil girl loves the pocket money affordable toys & they have the biggest & best toys for reasonable prices.

There's a good selection of toys from baby upwards, but it is a bit expensive but that's not unusual for Macclesfield, I bought my son a pack of top trump cards for £6 😫
The shop is amaizing. What kind of toy is not there. The price is also not that high. The stuffs are also very kind. I bought so many products from this shop for my son and all the products are of great quality. So many variety is available to choose. I love this place. There is a huge car park available and the place is located in peel centre.
It's a good toyshop. Has plenty of different types of toys and, games and things for entertainment. It also had a little baby section that sells cots and prams. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Good range of toys and baby items. However your staff for the 3rd visit running has been atrocious. Terrible attitudes and just do not seem to enjoy their jobs. If is that bad quit but do not treat customers like that ever. Definitely our last visit.
Today, I wanted to change my little girl's bike in this shop, and the bike I chose was a little more expensive than the first bike. However, I was happy to pay more, but before that my husband had paid more for the first bike, and when we chose the second bike, not only did he not fix it for us, but the lady behind the counter was extremely rude and a liar. . And the unwillingness to return the amount we had already paid to fix the bike or replace it with a second bike. Super customer service, rude and disrespectful to the customer. I was upset with the children today with the trouble they made for me. My daughter was really surprised and scared by their behavior. really embarrassing I bought many times from this shop and every time I faced a challenge. Some time ago, I bought an eight-foot swimming pool that had a hole, and the customer did not take back the composite material that was sold to me. This is a new trick of modern theft, and I will definitely follow up on my complaint. Because even though I have paid for the item I wanted and then for the problems that occurred, when I talked to the management, I saw nothing but disrespect and not solving the problem.

This is a smaller toy store than the ones I used to go to with my children but it has a massive selection of toys, condensed into the space perfectly. It's nice to be able to get in and out in minutes instead of hours. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and know exactly where everything is. 10/10 recommend.

Nice store, with friendly staff. Good selection of toys. Can sometimes get good deals on certain toys which is handy especially when it comes to buying presents, either for birthdays or Christmas.
They don't bother you if your just browsing. Was a nice shop ideal for all ages. Saw a lovely big cuddly bear £40 very tempted but my age was the issue! Next to the banks too. 5****
Thank you to Matt for the Scouts taster session. The Scouts really enjoyed the session, and Matt was really engaging. Not only did we get some amazing free models, but 12 activities to do back at the Scout hut!

I did a two day workshop at Art Glass by Design and absolutely loved it! A beautiful setting and Tamasine is an absolute hoot! I would thoroughly recommend a couple of days in the studio
Fantastic toy shop. Very reasonably priced. Staff look like they are dosed up on Valium, not surprising given the number of hyperactive kids swarming around. Well worth a visit (much better than shopping online) just to see the look on your nippers face.
Very friendly and approachable staff. I'm a complete newcomer to the hobby and was made to feel welcome and comfortable. Great setup of miniatures and tables full of buildings to check out and play with and they offer free tutorials for learning painting techniques at any skill level. I'll be back!
Matt is an awesome manager, extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help with the hobby! If you were thinking of starting and wanted some more information, pop in to store and he will guide you through everything. Nice place to paint and play, always really friendly people in store happy to talk tactics, paint schemes and new army lists.
The store manager greeted us on a flying visit and our first time in Stockport. He was honestly the nicest person. We got chatting immediately about one of the products, he helped me choose and few things and then even threw in a few freebies (promotional items). He gave me a bit of advice on some game nights and invited me along. A great experience and a great store.
I would recommend both the particular store and the hobby itself, it honestly is the most welcoming group of tabletop gamers, and stores like this really exemplify that.

Date of visit 3/1/17 @ 10:00. Lovely big store with free to use car park. My husband was able to get all he needed to complete his model motorbike. Few shelves a little bare. The lady cashier was amazing, chatty about holidays and collectible pin badges etc. If not for her it would have been 3 star
