Recently at this stunning venue to see Example again, last here just before covid lockdown seeing them.
Well run and we had Access to the accessibility area, thankyou to Becky for sorting. Lovely venue and staff, only negatives were drink prices, £11 for a pint and a half.... £9 for non alcoholic lager bottle and half lemonade, plus too much vaping in the building. As someone with lung issues it wasn't great and headed to the toilets coughing badly.... Mentioned to security who said no vaping was allowed but clouds of it coming of the main floor. 😞

An excellent Sunday roast at good price. Everything was nicely cooked, with fresh veg, a choice of sauces, and cauliflower cheese available as an extra side. A good range of veggie options. Good range of drinks. Everyone enjoyed their food. Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere with well spaced tables, and a lovely warm fire. We booked for 8 people a couple of days in advance. We recommend and would eat here again when in the area.

Yorkshire pudding a bit small but overall a great place.

A bit "off the beaten track" , but busy and buzzing atmosphere. The food Is FANTASTIC 😋 😋 😋
Highly recommended ❤️
OK the venue is amazing. The staff are lovely. The gig was superb.

But drink prices are insane!! £18-20 for 2 drinks is criminal. a pint and a single measure of spirit with coke. This place is a complete rip off - and until you start selling drinks at a reasonable price, you will lose audiences to cheaper venues nearby - of which there are many.

Visited with friends for a roast dinner. Amazing food, reasonably priced, relaxed atmosphere and dog friendly pub. It was my first time visiting and won't be my last, thank you 🙂
This was the third time attending with my brother, who has mobility problems. Every time we have had a fantastic experience thanks to Becky and the disabled facilities on offer here, particularly the separate seated area with a great view of the stage. Becky goes over and above to help and advise to ensure we always have the best time and enables us to continue to enjoy our shared passion for live music. The only negative is the drinks prices (£7.80 a pint!), but I t’s a beautiful venue and the sound quality is always excellent.

The O2 Academy Bournemouth, as a disabled person, was really accommodating to my needs and treated me and my carer both warmly and professionally. Especially Becky who went above and beyond to show us where the wheelchair-accessible toilet was, where we would be situated in the venue, and letting us know where the medical room was. Also, have to thank the paramedic who allowed me to use the medical room on several occasions. And one of the venue security members who also helped with several things. If anyone with a disability either in a wheelchair or other apparatus I would highly recommend this venue. Plus where you are situated you have a wonderful view of the stage, without fear of being bumped into and onto.

If anyone is interested I went to the Bury Tomorrow headline show with support from We Came as Romans and Kingdom of Giants.

We attended Christmas Carols here.
Location: Opposite to park. The bus stop is next to it.

Service/Entry: Smooth. The security was helpful and it was easy to get to the seats.

The hall is huge and majestic, the acoustics are exceptional.

The performance of the orchestra, choirs and the soloists was top notch. Not to forget the host, who raised the audience engagement to the next level at the end with the last carol.

Interactive event with sing-alongs of almost 5000 people.

The ticket was not cheap but it was worth the experience and what a better day than Christmas eve.

Been to this venue once before. Just like last time, busy and popular. The place is clean and tidy. Many pictures and snippets of history are placed all round the place to give you an insight to its history - performers, royalty etc.

Staff who work there are polite and courteous and were then happy to help with any question I had

Most recent show was Cirque Du Soleil - Algeria. Oh my god....what a performance. The stunts and acrobatics were amazing, the music was truly beautiful and the singers voices were captivating. The 2 clowns.....well.....they were a show in their own right.

Awesome day!!

The Royal Albert Hall is stunning. My ticket cost approximately £50 for Carols at the Royal Albert Hall; it was worth every penny. Drinks were reasonably priced considering the location. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely pub, really nice staff - lost a point for not having food choices, just pizza (which was due to the chef being ill, but meant my gluten free friend couldn't eat with us).
The veggie pizza I had was delicious, and we had a fun evening with friends there for our Christmas get together 🎄
It's a beautiful venue. We listened to Jon Hopkins accompanied by the BBC symphony orchestra and chorus during the BBC Proms event. Unless you are okay with hearing people in the hall, don't take the seats in the loggia zone. Overall, nice experience, very good acoustics, and a lot of history "in the air".
Looks just like a simple local pub, but in reality - quite more then that. We had our Christmas meal there and I never expect much from Christmas meal at the pub. But this time it was amazing! Very delicious and generous portions. Service was on the top. Thank you so much for the great night.
Beautiful little theatre tucked away a short stroll from Leicester Square tube station. We went to see Stick Man and it was fabulous! The performance was superb and all of the staff are wonderfully welcoming 😊

I went as part of a large group for a Christmas meal on Wednesday evening. The food was excellent, everyone commented on how good it was. Service was brilliant too. I had pre-ordered and instead of trying to remember what I had ordered the serving staff came out with our meals and and knew who had ordered them. This was the same for payment, they knew who had eaten what. A great meal was had by all and compliments must go to the chef and staff for this.

Met friends for a reunion over 2 nights, staff very friendly chatty and helpful, xmas dinner evening meal was absolutely lovely,as is the breakfast at a good value, very good products, and plenty of choice.
Location spot on.
Definitely worth booking, we won't be looking anywhere else now we stayed here.
Amazing experience at Daði Freyr. Our daughter (7) is a huge fan but was rather poorly. Chris and Becky at the O2 went above and beyond. They got us a spot in the downstairs accessibility section meaning we could sit and watch the gig right at the front. We were able to get in late so we got to see Daði and leave before the encore making it really easy and enabled us to go!

Thank you so very much, we know other venues would never be so accommodating.

Will absolutely be back! And it is such a beautiful venue to boot!
Ocean colour scene were awesome.
Staff were really good dealing with people that don't know control.
I wish there was 2 areas, one for people wanting to listen to the music and another for the people who want to talk constantly and should not have paid for a concert ticket!
16 quid for a pint and single vodka and oj. A bit much.
But still a great night

Really excellent venue I’ve been to three times now - have had a great experience every time. Prices are reasonable, seating is good throughout the theatre, the general decor and aesthetic is very friendly and creates the ideal atmosphere for the kinds of shows hosted here, and the staff are lovely. I work in theatre myself so I know that doesn’t always all come together easily! Had a particularly good experience this time as I desperately needed to charge my phone, and the woman at box office let me borrow a port, and was very kind about it - was immensely grateful :)
A amazing Venue, everything about it was amazing, the staff were brilliant.
It is such a iconic venue, the bars were lovely, yes expensive but that would be the same for any city with this type of venue.
The sound and experience Inside was just brilliant.
We would definitely return when we can.
No queues anywhere very efficient.
Thank You Royal Albert Hall. 😀

What a most excellent pub. Lovely fire. Lovely staff. Chilled vibe. I think the Dings is lucky to have such a pub. Sounds like the Sunday roasts are popular as the recommend booking for this.
Recently attended a Bongo's Bingo night at the O2, what a well run night!! The bars were well staffed so service was super quick, the entertainment was top class and security was on top of their game. The interior is so beautiful too.

Such an amazing experience to see the music of Star Wars and John Williams played in the Royal Albert Hall. This was my first visit and it was very special. I have eaten and slept here. Food is good at lunchtime and breakfast is worthwhile. Great location if staying. The room I had was decent and well appointed, good sized bathroom, but it was dusty in places, the fan in the bathroom, perhaps being out of easy reach, was covered. Just pockets of heavy dust in the harder to reach areas. Nice idea with the exposed brickwork, but wasn't sure if there were some small patches of mold. The room is reasonably quiet given its proximity to the road, thankfully no kitchen or extractor fan noise. Qudos bar is good for lunchtime bites and has some decent ales on tap. Sometimes the sports are on. Generally a quieter place during the day, again exposed brick work with a modern looking bar with a mixture of higher tables and stalls with tables and chairs.

Words simply cannot do justice to the experience we had at the Royal Albert Hall. We attended a Beethoven’s ninth concert by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra which concluded with the magical “Ode to joy” performance. What a phenomenal venue and what a phenomenal performance - one I’ll remember for the rest of my life!

Whole experience from entry to exit was smooth. Need to buy tickets in advance on their website. Book early as tickets sell out quickly. Venue is easily accessible by tube. We got seats in the last row for £29pp, which we felt was a steal. Seats were comfortable and we had a mind blowing view. Café inside had lots of food and drink options. Toilets were clean. Very less waiting for entry and to be seated. If you are in London, do try to visit for an orchestra or a movie concert or anything that suits your schedule.
We went into The Royal Exchange expecting the usual ho-hum pub food and walked out completely blown away by a fantastic meal prepared and presented beautifully. This fantastic country pub has such a lovely buzz when you walk in - we were greeted warmly by the friendly staff. Our server, Jo, was absolutely lovely and patient with us while we asked questions about the menu, and she was careful to check that we didn't have any allergies. We asked a few questions about the pub and the local area and when she didn't know the answer, she went above and beyond to find out. The food itself was delicious! My husband had the cod loin wrapped in salmon special and I had the chicken ballotine in tarragon butter sauce. It was beautifully plated - as pretty as anything in a fancy London restaurant with great portions and a reasonable price. We will DEFNITELY be heading back to this location again.

This is a truly historic & iconic venue. I've been here many times to watch movies with a live orchestra (Back to the Future, The Godfather, etc) and other performances. They have many events that take place. I would recommend signing up to their subscription list to see what tickles your fancy. As mentioned above, there's movies, music, and all types of other shows.

The staff here will greet you with a smile and are very friendly. There is a bar inside, but it's limited to snacks and drinks. We went to see 'an evening with Arnold Schwarzenegger', and it was tremendous. The auditorium held 4000 people, and it was amazing. We took public transport to get there, and it's a few minutes' walk from South Kensington tube station. However, you can drive, and there is parking nearby (you have to pay). If watching an even performance, I'd recommend grabbing a bite beforehand near South Kensington before heading to the venue. Enjoy your show!

Went here with parents after a long drive where everywhere else was booked up! Despite appearances and a 35 min wait, boy was the food worth it!!! It was a Sunday so we had the roast menu and everything was cooked to perfection and plated in an interesting way with the most gorgeous Yorkshire Pud I've ever had.

We got one beef, one chicken and one pork and I can safely say I haven't seen pub food this well done in a while. Definitely defied expectations so compliments to the chef!

We booked out part of the pub for a party and was just so lovely. We were allowed to make the place our own with decorations and the buffet food was so tasty! All the staff were amazing but Imogen and Cara were just absolutely incredible, anything we needed they went the extra mile for. Just such a lovely environment and beautiful pub! Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!
Lovely Saturday night. Very lively. Worth visiting. Lots of eatery to visit. We went to Mr Maco Pierre's Whites restaurant in Leicester Square.
Atmosphere there was good. Service very slow, had to keep asking, three times for our drinks. Foods was ok. Over priced for my small piece of Salmon. Going there is a novelty. Should have gone to China town instead which is about 4 mins walk.

Went to see Michael MacIntyre.... what a really funny night, my cheeks and sides were aching so much from laughing.

Was able to pre-pay parking for £9, which was good.

Tickets were approx £65.50. Great seats, 4 from front on left hand as you are facing the stage in the Windsor Hall. They do pack you in though.

Drinks were over £10 for 2 non-alcoholic stella, always pay over the odds for this type of venue.

Not allowed to order drinks and sit outside as it's for food orders only, which was disappointing.

I would go back though.

Always a good atmosphere, fair priced drinks and more often than not, fantastic live music. A great hidden gem in Bournemouth and I would happily recommend to all.
Amazing venue! I had the chance to visit the O2 Academy Bournemouth for a Bedlam DNB club night with Wilkinson and Vibe Chemistry performing and what a night to remember! All the staff from box office to bar were efficient, kind and quick. I moved about the main room and balcony area and there was always a good view from wherever I stood. Drinks were made quickly and the crowd were good fun and nice to be around, not to mention how amazing the show itself was. Massive thank you to Becky in Box Office and Steve at the bar for being so kind and helpful! Will definitely be coming back.

I've had many happy visits to this pub over many years and have been happy to pay city centre prices for their beer, because of the selection offered. Service has only ever been adequate and after tonight's visit i must finally comment that the food is always (historically) an overpriced
disappointment (apart from the Sunday roast which is an overpriced pleasure) and I won't be fooled again, 🎸🎶 ☹️. 3 stars because of my fondness for the place despite my constant disappointment.
It was not a great experience, and frankly, I wish I had cooked at home. We booked a table for a family Sunday lunch, which wasn't ready when we arrived. Meal options were not available, and availability kept changing, even after we had already ordered. Our food was served at different times, so 2 out of our party of 7 ate, whilst the remaining 5 were watching. My sweet potato, beetroot, and spinach vegetarian option had no signs of beetroot nor spinach.
The only cancellation was that we were offered free drinks as an apology.
We will not be back.

Went to see Ben & Emil at the Leicester Square Theater.

Seating is good. I didn't feel like I was pressed shoulder to shoulder with the person next to me like I have in other venues. My knees did lightly touch the chair in front a bit, but that's because I'm fairly tall. Overall, quite comfortable.

Booking tickets was straightforward. Received a prompt response via email when I had a question. Friendly staff.

There is a bar on-site but I didn't get anything because I came from Wetherspoons so can't comment on it.

Parts of the theater could do with a fresh coat of paint. But nothing major.

Will visit again if there's another show I want to see. :)

Cute little theatre situated next door to The Prince Charles Cinema.

What a great wee pub. Good prices, great music and a fun local crowd!
This venue has the feel between a comedy club and small theatre. It's an intimate choice to make for an evenings entertainment and the play that I saw here was perfect for this type of venue. I hope that future nights are as enjoyable and I will certainly be visiting this venue again.
Small but perfectly formed (quite hard to find if you've never been, though).

Women's toilets fine, although only 3 and when I went no soap in the soap dispenser and no hand dryer.
After reading the reviews, I expected them to be awful. But then I went to the 'other' ladies' loos instead of the signposted ones (avoids the inevitable huge queues for the ladies)
As soon as you see the signs for the ladies loos next to the bar, keep walking through the doors so you're directly in front of the staircase out, and to your left there's a staircase down and there are men & women's toilets and a bar. On the way down, have a look at the portraits of stars who've performed there; it seems to be a rite of passage for most well-known stars.

There's also a bar directly outside the auditorium and 2 inside the auditorium.

Sat with a friend in I 16 and I 17 and had a perfect view; straight in the eyeline of Ben Willbond/Larry Rickard from Horrible Histories/Yonderland/Ghosts, & later Bridget Christie, at the RHLSTP (Richaed Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast) podcast. Next time, if I can, I'll sit in 16/17 but a couple rows ahead. But all views are good.

Even during the interval when I went to the auditorium bar I saw the view from the bar stools (with the stage set up for Bridget's podcast - they film 2 podcasts in one day) which was perfect, if a little far away. It's a small 400-seat theatre, so every seat will be good (apart from the couple in front of speakers right at the front).

Ben and Larry and Bridget Christie were so lovely, spending likely hours meeting the 400 fans queueing outside (the show finished at 10pm, I left at about 10:50pm and I was quite early on in the queue. Thr queue ended up going all the way down the street). Gutted to miss Bridget, but I got to meet Ben & Larry (15 years in the making since I grew up watching Horrible Histories, as did a lot of people there), and they were so lovely, I managed to make Larry laugh & even got a hug from Ben 😍

Gem of a pub and great to have as a local. All the staff are amazing and friendly and has a very chilled atmosphere. Also very happy to pop the football on mid-mid week! Lovely selection of alcohol and great open mic nights!
Horrible bartender.
The place was empty, the only staff was sloughing on a table.

I politely asked if I could use the toilet and he told me: not really, it’s for customers only in a very rude, disinterested way.

I went back to my van, got my wallet and paid £0.50 for a soda.

Decent small pub with good beers on. Tried to watch football there though and tables taken up with people not drinking, whilst those that had pints were standing. Poor when presumably the pub operates as a profit making enterprise.
Lovely little pub. Characterful with a mix of people, a locals’ pub but everyone welcome. One very nice chap bought me a drink at last orders, had a really good chat afters. Really classy, fun young lady running the bar, a real natural at it, a throwback to the good old days. She asked me if I had any last requests for the music, which was granted (I asked for Lenny Kravitz) and she told me about the place, and where the fantastic paintings of London streets on the walls came from (no spoilers, go in and ask!)
Popper into this hidden gem on a Wednesday with a friend and was greeted by the fabulous Oscar the manager. The atmosphere was luveky even though it wasn't overly busy

Grey goose was available so no complaints from me.

My friend and I ordered Quesadillas at the bar, and I can honestly say it was one if tastiest snacks I've had in a bar.

If you're in the area the Royal Exchange is a real find.

STEAK EN FRITES-- Amazing! Best steak I had so far as compared to other pubs I've been. A bit small but very tender. Chips were cooked perfectly and the side salad is great.

Just 4 stars because the toilets need a lot of cleaning. Overwhelming smell of urine as you walk in. Puts off a lot of customers especially if they're sat by the tables near the toilets. PLEASE do something about this.

Will definitely come back for food and drinks again 😊

Huge venue with lots of facilities, however it's like a bloody maze!!
There are doors, corridors, different halls and entrances and exits everywhere! Very confusing, especially when there are thousands of people, particularly children there for a cheerleading event.
Would I go back, yes, but I would definitely leave more time to get from one area to the next!

This has been a bit of a local saviour of live music for me this last year. Managed three visits to see The Hoosiers, Matt Cardle and Toploader. Enjoyed all three nights out. Each had three support acts, table service and socially distanced. Well presented line ups including some great new and local acts.

Lovely venue, staff were super nice and accommodating. Sound from the stage was good and the venue had done a great job with COVID restrictions. Excited to come back to a standing crowd

Good beer and good food.

It's always a pleasure to call in and even more so when there's good food on offer to surprise you.

We thoroughly enjoyed a some jerk dishes and the jerk chicken was really lovely.
OMG What an amazing venue. Quality setting, great drink selection and of course great acts. Compared to your average music venue, here is a place that is taking it to the next level. Value for money is just an added bonus.
Seated only feet from the stage, last night we watched,-
'Two Weeks in Nashville' - a superb retro vibe with original tracks.
'Naipia' - reminded me a little of Arctic Monkeys, such energy and great lyrics, a top performance.
All finished off with a full set from 'The Hoosiers', incredible close up show with a stripped back performance, that really packed a punch - simply FAN tastic.

Amazing food and service from the Royal Exchange. Visited here with my brother's family and we received very attentive service. Portion size is very generous and even the children's meals are almost adult sized. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting this area.

Is a nicer pub than it looks and has a good drinks range. Bar manager is an absolute legend. Has a good outdoor seating area.
