Tina and Michael are both amazing people. They are extremely accommodating and very welcoming. This amazing couple are nothing but friendly and for the people leaving a bad review shame on you as these people would not hurt a fly. You can say oh you don’t know them personally and no I don’t but I’ve attended a few local post offices and none have been so accommodating as Tina and Michael have. Ive never had an issue since the post office has been taken over by the wonderful couple. I regularly go to the post office sending off numerous orders every other day and Tina has been exceptional. We have our own little system in place whereby I drop my orders off pay for them, I receive all the tracking information there and then and pick up my proof of postage the next time I pop in. Something any other post office wouldn’t do. They have a wide selection of things to buy in the shop,, sweets, drinks, milk, bread, cards and some beautiful handbags.

Love this Post Office, friendly staff and always a warm welcome. Prefer to use this than my local Post Office because how helpful the staff are.
Has gone downhill over the past several years since new ownership. The owners took it upon themselves to develop a personal vendetta against me for some reason ever since my business has decided to withdraw our regular relationship with them (a decision entirely outside of my personal control) the owners have taken it upon themselves to personally discriminate me regardless of whether I visit on work or personal business.
They have tried to accuse me of being the cause of a marijuana smell which was present before I walked in, entirely unprovoked. And then accused me of using a fake £5 despite knowing it was real because I personally checked it beforehand as I was on work business. All in the name of bullying tactics and sourness over a situation caused by their constant price rises and sharp, stern service.
They deny electricity top-ups on the basis of them not profiting from it despite that being a necessary post office service. Then they complain I don't support them as a customer but they have nothing worth buying. Avoid at all costs as I will from now on, I'd sooner walk all the way to Hednesford to post things rather than ever step foot in here again.

My first visit to Hempshaw Lane Post Office! I was satisfied with the service. Delighted that they open on Sundays to cater for those of us who get time on this day to sort out their parcels and mail to send off. Extremely convenient business/ opening times!

Fantastic post office. Staff are amazing, warm and really friendly. They go above and beyond to help you and are definitely the hub of the local community. Every time I come in, despite how busy they are, they always make time to ask how I am. Would not go to another post office - the staff here are the best! Thankyou x

Excellent local shop and Post Office. A really lovely family runs it, who will always go the extra mile for customers. Locals often choose to use this Post Office over others because they are so nice! Lots of stock in the shop, too, including freshly baked bread. They process Amazon returns too.
I first visited as the Post Office that's not local to me as the opening hours are much longer than most which is really convenient. So pleased I did visit. The shop is lovely, great variety and good quality. All the staff in the Post Office and shop are so nice and helpful. It's a lovely place all-round. Unusual today as it's not a chain, makes a really nice change. Would recommend!
Awful place. post office has a massive queue and only one man (who takes 20 minutes to take a photo of a single piece of paper and disappeared into the back for nearly 30 minutes to find a package) is working at the post office section. another customer asked the two other lazy workers at the front till if they would like to come and help out to which they said they couldn’t be bothered. ended up leaving midway through the queue after 1 HOUR of waiting. if you want to drop off a parcel or do absolutely anything related to the post office you’ll be quicker walking 30 mins to one of the other nearest post offices who deserve your business more.

Hello everyone. I was 20min before at post office lewisham and the ma’am that was there talk with me not in the good way. Maybe she was stressful about the work but she was so aggressive😉 and she told me I cant serve you because we are close I sad you close after 20minand she just look at me and said you can do it by yourself in machine🤓 anyway

Visited Hazel Grove Post Office today and found the service to be subpar. Despite there being an hour left before closing time, it looked like the staff were already cashing up. With only one out of three employees actively serving a line of 10 people, the wait time was significantly longer than expected. I'd advise seeking an alternative if you're pressed for time.
I took in a parcel and wanted a signed for service. (Parcel Value £90).
The lady at the counter replied ”signed for and delivered by 1pm tomorrow is £11.95” I said that was too expensive, plus I advertised a 48hr service on ebay, so a 2nd class service, it doesn’t have to be delivered by 1pm tomorrow.
The lady said 2nd class will only cover £20 in value not the £90 value of the parcel. I replied (when I said 2nd class, I meant it doesn’t have to arrive tomorrow, not that I want standard 2nd class due to the parcels value). So, I said what about parcel 48? The lady replied “ this is £9.95” I said I will go with that service, as its cheaper. She then handed me pen & paper (very unusual) and asked me to write my name & address, I replied " my name & address is already written on the back of the parcel".
CONCLUSION
If, I hadn’t had mentioned parcel 48 this lady was acting as if bog standard 2nd class, or special delivery by 1pm tomorrow were my only options. Post Office, you need to re-train your staff, so they can explain postal options to their customers, thus offer a better service. I think the staff member knew all the options available, but she was just being selective, lazy and doesn't have the interpersonal skills to talk to someone who doesn't look like her. Her attitude was a disgrace

Terrible branch,short-staff always. black small figure tall woman not even looking in the eye doing the service. I have always been polite to everyone saying good morning etc but I guess manners can’t really be common for everyone and the staff at this branch could never bat an eyelash to treat all customers right. Just a simple greeting could have made the difference.

None of the self checkouts work, surly staff and they overcharge you at the checkout. Avoid at all costs. Use a proper courier for parcels.
I came today 15 mins before closing time and the administrator guy helped me so quick and so well, great institution post office to have nearby when all the others close so annoyingly early.
The server was incredibly helpful and patient, he allowed me to sort out my license even though, not a lot of time was left, he was a great laugh very respectful

Patrick is a member of staff who is very helpful to me as well as all other customers. Eventhough he does not work directly in the Post Office section, but in the general store, he still took it as a responsibility to help out and took my passport photo. He was very friendly and professional in his attitude. I believe he is a very valuable member of staff of the store. Many thanks to Patrick for prompt attention and good service.
Saturday morning and the queue is 30+ deep with 1 person serving! Totally ridiculous, the three automatic machines never work. It’s like an advert for DPD or other courier companies. No wonder the post office is going down the pan
Worst post office ever. They make you pay extra for everything. When you send a letter you need to come with your own tape or buy tape from them. They won’t let you leave the post office if you don’t buy tape as they already take your payment for the letter and tell you after. It took me more than 15 minutes to simply post a small letter. And nobody explains you anything. It’s on you to guess what’s happening. I’m really annoyed with the service I received! Avoid this post office.

Worst place ever. Most impolite staff ever. There is only 1 black lady there with grey hair that does her job. She even do too much as they other one are just there to chill. Terrible BRP collection service if you are considering using this branch I would suggest using another.
Visited the day after my partner landed (Thurs) and was told that the BRP won’t have arrived yet as you just passed immigration yesterday, we get them every Tuesday come back next week. I asked if that applied even if we had a letter from a few months ago and was told yes it didn’t matter.
Came back the following Wednesday and was told sorry your BRP isn’t here it was probably sent back as we only hold it for 60 days before we sent it back. How does this policy make any sense when you are issued a 90 day visa to come to the UK. We now need to contact the Home Office to try and find out where it is and then go through this again.
The post office and immigration should have aligned policies and staff should be trained to know this. It doesn’t help staff are condescending although the second visit the customer service was more helpful and clear.
If we can we will be asking to send the missing BRP to another branch.

Very helpful with my children's first passport application. I submitted last month but picture wasn't good enough when I went there the guy help me to upload the picture even when he wasn't working in 5be post-office. Always help ful best post-office.
They have no idea how Amazon returns work. They refused to take back multiple items in same box as they arrived in. They said that they all have to be packed separately,

Fantastic staff! Really know their stuff. I post abroad weekly and they consistently save me money , explaining to me the best service to use. They go above and beyond to help. Anyone saying otherwise about the people that work here clearly have a stick stuck somewhere on their person , and should give their head a wobble. Efficient & friendly even when serving nut jobs & rude people . Can't fault the place or staff. I would highly recommend this post office .
This is wonderful experience new cross road post office. Especially myself i got post office service at night 11pm. Potik is very experienced and one of the best personality's staff to care all customers and i have a good help from him all the time.

17:30 closing time? How is someone who works full-time supposed to get there to pick up a package that they missed because they weren't home because they were AT WORK. I'd gladly pay a surcharge to keep it open later as well. Sort out the opening hours.

If there was an option for no stars then I would give it. This post office is the worst I have ever been to. Never ever any staff, always the same lady at the counter with a mile long queue. No staff and the staff that are present have a very very bad attitude. Find another post office or expect to wait atleast 40 minutes to be served.

Needed to put some money in my account and it was 6.30pm and the post office is open till 8.15pm ish. Was going to stop off elsewhere for a card and some groceries however when I saw their selection I picked up everything I needed here. Staff here helpful and polite. Keep up the good work!

You need to avoid Saturdays peak times, for obvious reasons; otherwise, I have never waited longer than a few minutes, even just after the lockdown ended.
You need to read a whole user manual to operate the self-service machines but there is always a very helpful member of staff around to sort things out.

Poor customer service , my sister went to the post office to post items the staff refused to attend to her just because she took long to find a postcode of an item she was about to post .

Arrived at 1.50 and they were closed. Even though the shop it’s in was open. Laughable.
Always such friendly service putting a smile on my face. Pleased they opened up after the other post office closed nearby.
Although online stated open they will randomly close for breaks/ lunch with no notice or cover. Avoid at lunch times to avoid disappointment.

I am from outside the UK and have looked for the Post Office where I was instructed to process BRP for my visa repeatedly and in vain. This is not the correct place, but they get this request often it seems. The woman was warm and friendly and kind and gave me very accurate directions with landmarks. I was within 150 feet of the place two days ago! Visa and Immigration Services need to provide more specific directions and also should designate this location a BRP processing site since it’s easier to find! 😀

Visited this Post Office today and wish I'd of got the name of the lady who served me as she was really helpful and kind. Great customer service, put me at ease and chatted to me while I found my bar code etc. Will use this post office more in the future as first time using it today. Great work much appreciated

Very rude staff been on a number of occasions sending parcels back but they complain about barcodes and say they don’t work. Need training in how to be polite to customers. Only 1 member of staff nice the lady who has worked in Asda a long time who I try to go to when she is there.
As the traffic was so bad, I made a detour to this store today to use the post office, but only after checking the opening hours on Google and the next 2 websites. All stated that it was open til 5.30pm. You've guessed it, it wasn't. I asked if if it had closed early just for today or if that was the normal. I was told that the PO always closed at 1pm on Saturday. I said that the website said 5.30pm. The owner told me I was wrong as he had personally changed them. I again stated that the website definitely said 5.30pm. He just shrugged and said no-way and continued his conversation with his colleague, so I left. This shop is not as good as it was under the previous owner and I'll certainly think twice before going again. Upon reaching home I double checked the Internet and I eventually discovered a couple that said it closed at 12.30 (also a wrong time, but they were about number 6/7 on the page.).
Woman was rude when asked why they had shut early. No customer service, all I got is it is nearly Christmas and they needed to do admin. Had a feeling it was because they wanted to 'do the admin' and punch out at 4pm on the dot - way to show Christmas spirit! Very poor.

I arrived at the post office at 13:20. There was a sign at the till stating "closed until 1:30" and the clerk was stood behind the till on the phone. I decided to wait the ten minutes, as all I needed was to post two letters. I waited patiently for 10 minutes in view of the clerk and as soon as it reached 1:30 she looked over to me and rudely exclaimed "I'm going to be at least 30 minutes longer" and gave me a look as if to say "why are you still standing there?". There were at least 5 other customers behind me that had been waiting a similar time, so I said to the clerk that there was no need to be rude and then I turned to the other customers to relay her message - all be it, in a much more pleasant tone. She then said that the till was broke and she can't help it.
She had seen me standing there for the 10 minutes, along with the other customers but decided not to say anything until 1:30 on the dot. I find the staff here are quite rude they carry on their personal conversations and leave customers waiting. They are never welcoming and i havn't seen any of them smile at all.
I have two that im happy to go to ....a younger girl and one other lady but thats it.
I think personally the staff should undertake some training on how to deal with public in a professional manner.

One great member of staff. The rest are rude and don’t want to assist you. Very unhelpful, won’t put stickers on your parcels, and ask you to do it. Also parcels are left for ages before they are taken into be put in the bags. I try to avoid using the branch now unless there’s no other option

One of the staff members of the post office asked me rejoin the queue of 4 people after he made a mistake and caused a big delay even though he saw me i had frames on my both legs and i was using crutches , and also the post office does not follow the official working hours, so do not expect them to be open on Sundays.
