Our brunch experience at The Wolseley was set in a classy ambiance adorned with grand chandeliers and marble surroundings. Despite the elegant atmosphere, the place was buzzing and busy, adding a lively touch. We opted for the English breakfast, berry pancakes, and coffee. The food was deemed just okay, so as the service. They also forgot my one of our order. The Wolseley offers a sophisticated setting for brunch, making it an ideal spot for those who appreciate a bustling yet refined atmosphere.

Lovely afternoon tea - here just after Christmas. Platter with scones, jam and cream and other delicious bits, tea full of flavour, champas topped the afternoon off nicely. Would like to go back one day.

Wow. Only basque restaurant I’ve been to in london and tasted pretty legit. Gildas and basque cheesecake was just spot on. The wagyu with foie gras was also v yum.
Tortilla was also super yum. I would not order turbot - it was not the only fish and two tiny bits.

4 stars because portion sizes too small and expensive for what it is.

Amazing place with a great atmosphere, specially the sitting area next to the kitchen is very nice. Nice well balanced dishes with some exciting combinations. The black pudding and squid dish was absolutely banging. Service was also nice and laidback. value for money+

I had higher expectations, I suppose, as I have had afternoon tea a few times before but not in the UK. The place felt cramped as the space between tables was narrow and the atmosphere was busy and a tad loud. We were seated in a corner booth so we could hear each other (we were a party of 6 adults). We chose classic afternoon tea. The scones were lovely, the pastries were not outstanding but pleasant, and the sandwiches were a good selection. The tea selection was good, too. The service staff was efficient and very busy. I think it was pricey for the overall afternoon tea experience. I think that for one to fully enjoy and appreciate afternoon tea, it must be a multisensory experience, that is, the food tastes and smells good and is visually pleasing, and the atmosphere of the place draws one's energy towards attending to the food and the people we are enjoying them with. The Wolseley missed the mark on creating such an atmosphere and experience for me.
Went in here for an afternoon tea! Absolutely LOVED it! The tea was amazing and sandwiches were good tea. The cakes were decent, not the best but good. Service was impeccable and the overall experience was great. Highly recommend this place

The food was mediocre at best with two of the three entrees being over-seasoned . We had the ragu tagliatelle, Tamworth pork chop and venison. The tagliatelle was good but the meat tasted very salty and similarly for the venison, it came out like a meat ball which was unexpected and it just tasted very heavy in terms of the seasoning and we could not finish the dish. However on the other hand, the pork chop was cooked perfectly. Maybe it was due to the dishes that we ordered, but we did not feel the same way as the other reviews.

Had been wanting to try Brawn for a long time due to its ubiquity on respected food reviews/lists. The experience in my reality was sadly, incredibly forgettable and not even close to matching the hype/adoration. It was two fold in our first waiter, who seemingly was the manager, being incredibly dismissive and condescending in his approach to our asking what was best on the menu (“it’s all good. And you better hurry up otherwise I’ll have to tell the kitchen you’re going to take your time”), overall being brisk and adding a large pinch of snobbery to the whole affair. Unnecessary, no? Secondly the food - mains were nice and flavoursome, however the starters were incredibly salty and coleslaw esque. Plus both my friends experienced stomach issues later that night. Not worth it in my/our opinion and was a shame to find it out in this way.
Had the PATLICAN EZMELI KOFTE. Paid close to £30 for my meal. Lamb was dry, aubergine sauce was plain and too smoky, couscous was nothing to be excited about. The portion was quite small for what you’re paying. Quite absurd. Not returning. 2 stars.

First time here. Recommended by a friend. Not disappointed. Lovely surroundings (I like the big soft dining chairs - very nice), the service was really nice - the servers were all great, happy to have a bit of a chat and very helpful. The food was fab. I had the deep fried camembert with honey to start, then the beef cheeks and my friend had the chicken meatballs followed by the pork belly - mine was superb and my friend replied the same. Dessert was the chocolate pyramids for both of us - again, excellent. Quite pricey - just over £100 for 2 incl a couple of drinks each, but the quality was really first class. Recommended.

What’s happened!! Haven’t been for a while for one reason or another, used to go quite often. The prices have gone through the roof! . It used to be such good value. 2 courses for around £ 20.00 now it’s £30 and the food isn’t as good. Bottle of dry rose is now £27.00! This was a Wednesday afternoon. Sad to say this is now off my list. Not great or good value any more!

Disappointed that there were no offers on a Sunday which meant our meals were VERY expensive and also felt the price of a coffee was extortionate. Serving staff were very pleasant but service was very slow. Then to add a service charge of 10%service charge was the final straw. Won't be going there again as there's plenty of choice in Liverpool and I've certainly had good and in some cases better service and food for less.

Good foods. The cep and truffle croquettes were good, and the basque cake was so delicious.
They have some wines that are not very popular but from Basque area.
Really delicious and authentic food with a huge variety of meat and vegetarian dishes. Every dish was a favorite and we appreciated the punctual service so we could get back to the museum. A wonderful restaurant!

The service, quality of the food, and quantity of food is absolutely embarrassing for the prices that you pay. None of the food was anything special or particularly delicious. All tasted like dishes you could get for very cheap in America, and I found the tomato salad very salty. We ordered 6 tapas in total to find that they were all composed of simple parts and tiny portions. You pay for the presentation and the fancy names on the menu.

The other reviews mention outstanding service -- we did not experience that at all. We had to interrupt a waitress to get seated after waiting for 5 minutes, even though the entrance is in a busy pathway for waiters and the restaurant was clearly half-empty. Our table was ignored even during an evening where the restaurant clearly was not busy. They forgot to take our order for the longest time. They did not check in on how the food was, which I usually wouldn't deduct points for, but at this price point and with the quality of the food they were serving, you have to wonder what exactly you're paying for. The person taking our bill was visibly annoyed at things like us wanting to keep the receipt.

This did not feel like a fine dining experience, unless you consider a fine dining experience to be paying ridiculous prices to be sneered at and ignored in favor of European patrons. If your tasting palette prefers less flavorful dishes, this is the place for you as well.

I’d like to start by saying the live music, soothing and fitting for the atmosphere and a lovely afternoon tea.

The courses just kept on coming, I wasn’t expecting 2/3 starters before the actual afternoon tea came along. The flavours, were very complementary. Upon request you can have a second helping too! The sandwiches were beautiful, my favourite was the coronation chicken sandwich (chefs kisses) I could have eaten that all day! A lovely selection of teas I tried the chai tea and the earl grey, earl grey was too perfumes for me but I believe that is a personal preference. The desserts were lovely. Then came the scones! Warm, crispy on the outside soft on the inside, just perfect.

The staff are very attentive and friendly.

Overall great experience. Can’t wait to go again.

Visited this restaurant for my birthday recently. The good was delicious, ambience was good and service was excellent and as if nothing was too much of an ask. I would certainly recommend and would return. However, I do not think the quality is such that truly reflects the price and there is soom for improvement. So, be mindful of the London prices. All in all, very good!

4.5 stars if I could. Sketch defines a dining and bar -experience-. My friend and I visited for afternoon tea and a drink in the "room" across from the main dining room afterwards. The building is spectacular beyond words and transports you to another world in a way I've never quite experienced before. The
"room" the bar was in felt like sitting in a psychedelic painting. The main dining room was beautiful and was lit exceptionally well. Enjoy taking those pics!

Service is refreshingly relaxed and friendly while still maintaining the professionalism you'd expect from this calibre of an afternoon tea. The staff here really knock it out of the park. We never had an empty pot of tea and were periodically asked if there was anything we'd like additional servings of. You'd expect it to be remarkably stuffy, but they strike a great balance between being fun and refined--not unlike how they've designed the spaces.

Food itself is plentiful (come ready to dine!) and beautifully presented. Nothing was particularly spectacular taste-wise but it was all tasty. Knocked down a star the food category since I really would expect for the entire set menu to knock my socks off. I've had better individual pastries a la carte at patisseries in my life though. That being said, the pineapple and chili cheesecake and orange Victoria sponge cake were highlights. Tea selection is broad and we loved being able to order as many as we liked.

This was a special occasion and Sketch perfectly fit the bill for a leisurely afternoon tea in what "felt" like a once-in-a-lifetime environment. Keyword "felt" as I will certainly be back someday!

Second time here (one year later than the first) and it was even better. Well executed dishes bursting with flavor in a great ambience. I’m not a big natty wine fan but the servers were quick to oblige with any other spirit. Service was great and the ambience is wonderful.

The afternoon tea is wonderful. The atmosphere is nice and the staff provide good service. The scones are delicious, the sandwiches are tasty and more can be brought on request and the cake selection is good. The only downside with the cakes is, they only bring one of everything; so if you want to try it all, you must share. The tea selection is also nice. Overall, The Wolseley is an excellent afternoon tea experience.

The set lunch was a good deal. The food was tasty and seasoned to perfection. Service was great. Don't miss out on the Mangaliza Shoulders Croquettes. The soup was perfect for the season and the combination duck & lentils and pumpkin new to me, but worked very well.

Came as a surprise for my birthday with my girlfriend - my first experience of French cuisine in Liverpool. Hidden in plain sight on Hanover Street, Bistro Franc is a beautiful authentic French restaurant. We took advantage of their wine and dine Thursday deal - £27 for two courses each and half a bottle of wine each (so you don’t need to pick the same one). The service from Tash was fantastic and it was a real treat - the beef bourguignon was nice and rich and the duck superb. We had a special starter and dessert, so would recommend asking what the specials are as they were both great. Thanks team!

The sourdough was so-so; olive oil didn’t have many layers of taste. The seafood croquetas was quite good; it had balance between the sauce on too and the croquetas itself. Beef was okay.
The service was excellent. We went there on last Saturday and the waiter was very kind and always had a smile on his face.
The atmosphere was okay… the floor downstairs was very slippery; that’s a hit dangerous. Even the staffs needed to walk slowly so that they don’t slip.

We had afternoon tea at in The Gallery. All the food was wonderful - probably the best sandwiches I’ve ever had as part of a tea. The coronation chicken is amazing.

I love how all the food matches the theme of the space as well.

The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the first dish was placed down and no one told us what it was; I had to ask after.

Would not recommend.
Good:
1) The service. She was kind enough when I complained about the food.
2) Sangria

Bad:
1) Food: Nothing Special.
2) Raw chicken!!! She took it back and did not charge me for it- but I ended up with a terrible reaction.
3) Hygiene: The restrooms are filthy. The smell was terribly sickening. I complained, but the management seemed to already be aware of it.

Very disappointing.
I have tasted Kofte and Somon Yahni. Kofte plate was amazing, meat was delicious and very suitable with couscous and seasonings.
I can say the same thing for Somon Yahni. It was not only super delicious but was a great combination with spinach.
Even though the lentil soup is a bit below my expectations, the general experience and atmosphere was very good.

Went out spontaneously for last-minute cocktails, and we didn't have to wait too long , which is a bonus. We got served and seated pretty quickly . The service was amazing, I can't fault it at all. Pretty cool vibes, thumbs up.
Went in for the lunch special, which is £29 for a set menu. The menu came with a starter, a main and dessert. However you have to pay for the sides apart (which they insist you should get so we got potatoes and salad).

My food was great, however we did have a problem with my friends food, where the fish tasted like amonia, we told the staff and they were very helpful. They told us they had removed the batch from the kitchen, gave us a refund on that plate and offered an alternative dish.

Nice restaurant near Hyde park, we order prawns, beef, tomatoes and other small dishes, all of them taste just right. Service is excellent as well, we take a seat before the chef, and can see they prepare our dishes with every detail cared. Great afternoon tea experience. It is quite loud so it may be hard to hear your table at times. Thought that service could be better, but it’s still good. Scones, cakes, and sandwiches were all good. I did see a few tables not finishing their cakes and sandwiches which was a bit surprising…
Everything was 5 star. The ambiance, service and food were outstanding. The manager let my wife try a few wines before she decided what to order. The place is expensive (£70 each) but worth it. I included a pic of our Pancetta desert.
As a South African living in London, I was surprised that I'd never heard of this place, despite them being here for 15 years. The food and wine were okay, without being anything amazing. Staff and service were also fine without be too polite. Atmosphere is good, but that's due to their fortunate location down by the Thames.

The location is absolutely gorgeous! From the (very famous) toilets to the dining area and the cocktail rooms.. everything was fantastic.
I was a little disappointed by the food - the portions were good for the price paid but nothing exceptional taste wise. The tartare could have been fantastic but was ruined by a huge amount of cheese/sauce. Sides (especially fries and onion rings) were very good.
Amazing service.

Had breakfast in the (apologies don’t remember the name) the lower chandelier room and was excellent. We asked when there was availability for the 3 star Michelin and they surprisingly had an opening that day. It was the best dining experience we have ever had. All the servers (especially Daniel the Sommelier) were fantastic. The price of the tasting menu is very reasonable for the amount of food you are served, although ordering off their amazing wine list is what can get you in trouble. The wine service was excellent and am sad I do not live in London as I will not be able to return anytime soon.
Simply superior service and hospitality! Recently visited HT while on work in London with some friends and clients. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family and the food only made things better. The owner personally showed us to the wine cellar and assisted with some great recommendations. As for the steaks, I would put them on par with any world class steak house! The dessert was also excellent. We will return!
I love this place! My family and I ate there 3-4 times while on holiday in London. We tried the ribeye, burger, corn ribs, malva pudding - everything was delicious. I was touched by the warm hospitality too. The owner genuinely cares about her customers and each time we visited High Timber, she made a sincere effort to make sure our meal was special. Once in particular she kindly accommodated us at great inconvenience to her team. We will never forget our experiences at High Timber! When in London we will definitely make a point to return. I recommend you try this place for delicious South African cuisine, excellent wine, and friendly hospitality.
Delicious set lunch menu of a cold leek and potato soup to start, and was lucky enough to get the mince on toast which was the perfect level of richness.. I have no words for the bread its served on 😍. Then a lovely creamy custard slice for desert.

Enjoyed the afternoon tea set at The Wolseley. Service was good although the restaurant was full so it was a bit slow at times in terms of refills of tea and sandwiches. The sandwiches were good, some edges on the bread were slightly dry - perhaps out for too long but the sweets were nice. There were options of egg, pickles and cheese, salmon and cream cheese, coronation chicken to name a few. There was a good mix of fruit and chocolate cakes. The scones were definitely the highlight. They were delicious and fresh and the jam and clotted cream was also wonderful. Priced at £40pp for the non alcoholic option, would recommend for a treat or a special afternoon out in central London
Super cute traditional building. Tons of character both downstairs and in the private dining room upstairs. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Amazing food - the vegetarian set menu was original and everything was perfect. Great wine selection, and the cheeses on the cheeseboard were SO good.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and while the food was excellent, several aspects of the experience left me disappointed.

Firstly, I was disappointed by the hostess’s attitude. Despite available outdoor tables, we were not given the option to sit outside, and she seemed to penalize us for booking on the same day. This was quite off-putting.

The pricing for the ribeye steaks also left me perplexed. Offering two 250g steaks for £68 and a single 500g steak for only £1 more didn’t make much sense from a value perspective.

On the positive side, the service was efficient, but the ambiance left much to be desired. There was no music, and the decor felt plain and sad.

Another drawback was the limited dessert menu, with only three options. Moreover, the absence of decaf coffee was surprising, as they could only offer instant decaf.

Despite the great quality and presentation of the food, these negatives overshadowed the experience. I’m left with the impression that I probably won’t return to this restaurant in the future.

Run away!
You should feel ashamed of putting the word PINTXOS to the food you serve. That is neither Spanish food nor pintxos. That is not even food.
The only good thing of the evening was the beer. Even the olives and the artichokes, being both canned food were disgusting. I do not know what you put in the ajoblanco, but you have made me taste something for the very first time, that has no absolute taste, nothing.
Guys please… stop selling this image of Spanish food, give it a twist, because the LIZARRAN concept you use is actually very good.

A very nice Italian restaurant just off the gardens in Bournemouth. The pizzas and pasta were all very nice and tasty. There is lots of seating so getting a table should always be fairly easy.
The service was very friendly and different members of staff came over a few times to check everything was ok, which it was. They were very attentive and even asked if we wanted a candle on our table as we had children with us.

As lively experience will certainly pop back when we're next on the area.

LOVED everything about Donostia. The staff are simply wonderful - they do more than serve you - they genuinely look after you. The food is SPECTACULAR … we ordered the pulpo, black rice with monkfish, tomato salad, salted peppers, and the all the little tasters we could … and every single dish was just mouth watering. I could eat there weekly with ease and never tire of it. Wines are beautiful and so reasonable for the quality.

This gets 10/10 from someone who’s lived in Spain and is a major foodie! You’ll regret not coming here if you’re thinking about Donastia versus XYZ someplace else 🍷😊👏

A great time overall. The meal I had was bit pricey for what I had and in the Puri puri chicken pasta dish were only 3 very small pieces of chicken. Had it not been for the fact that I was in a group of friends I would have complained for the lack of chicken in my meal, especially as it was priced at £14.95. The meal was very tasty and full of flavour though and the service was very good and friendly, helpful staff. I would still recommend Wildwood as a place to eat.

So a birthday dinner.
We booked for 7pm, arrived 10 minutes early. We were sat at table quickly and asked about a drink order. That was dealt with menu's given, then we sat for around 15-20 minutes until our order was taken. I ordered the salted squid ,it was ok ish. Little over cooked and chewy ,little bland. My wife and daughter had fairly good starters. The plates taken quickly after we finished. Then mains came out , I had 16oz rump with mashed potatoes and some mushrooms and greens on the side. The steak was very nice cooked well, the mash was ok ish, veg was all good. My wife and daughter had the fillet steak, this was cooked ok, the Medium Rare was more Blue, but my wife liked it. She had the triple cooked chips ( very nice ) my daughter the fries (not bad). We finished our meal and were offered desserts. My wife and daughter had Eton mess with a Windsor twist... this wasn't great, apparently tasted artificially sweet . I had a single scoop of vanilla icecream. They charged the three scoop price only £3.. but it's the principle of it. So we had 3 starters, 3 mains, two sides. And one and a half desserts. All for just over £180... Will we go back. Probably not, far to many others to try and it wasn't amazing.

Best meal we have had out in ages. Went for the early dinner set menu which was great value at £20 for two courses. The steak was amazing (rump can be tough but this was like butter). Dessert, poached peach, was outstanding. We were particularly impressed with the service which was warm, friendly and very attentive. Couldn't have asked for more.

Make sure you book this if you want tapas and NOT rooms by the hour....very different thing and a bit awkward if you go with your family :/
Tapas was good, good range if hot and cold. Quite fun to 'help yourself' to the food. Even for Soho this place is expensive but the service is good and the food is yummy.

Quality Chop House offers a decent dining experience. While most of the starters and desserts didn't captivate my attention enough to order them, I must commend the Corquette snack for its delightful flavors. The Turbot and pork loin chop were the highlights of the meal, cooked to perfection with impeccable timing. The Confit potatoes were a must-try, although they tend to become slightly greasy if not consumed promptly. They pair excellently with mustard, creating a delectable combination. The wine list boasts a satisfying variety of choices. However, the restaurant environment falls short, with cramped tables and uncomfortable seating arrangements. Despite this, Quality Chop House provides good value for money and comes recommended for its standout dishes.

Comfortable place to visit with the family, but lots of adults without kids so would recommend it to everyone.

Lovely food!! So many vegetarian options! Loved the service and the why the food was put up!

Food was delicious, and chocolate mousse was not great. Bread was fantastic. Interesting ideas with the rib steak - showcasing two different cuts on one dish.

Delicious Spanish food! We tried the prawns which were delicious saunteed, the tomatoes which were plump and bursting in juices and flavour, as well as the pork which were absolutely delicious. We were also tempted with Basque style cheesecake for dessert, which was rich and creamy and definitely satisfied our souls. I highly recommend the cheesecake. The service was also excellent. Will be back again!
Lovely fresh Turkish food steps from British Museum. Service is super quick and friendly. They have special menu choices were you can choose from mezzes and mains. Vegetarians will be in heaven.

The sort of menu you read and really can’t choose because you’d like it all! We’ve had many a great evening here with top class service and delicious, well presented food. A great Windsor restaurant well located on St Leonard’s road, 5 mins from the castle.
There’s also a bookable private dining area upstairs. One of our favourites in Windsor.

Wonderful dinner. The service was on point. Great explanation of the dishes. Atmosphere was super nice especially if you are sitting near the kitchen where you can see the chefs cook. Beautiful flavors. Our favorite dishes in May menu were the fasolakia and the peas pasta. Portions are on the smaller side so you may need to order more to feel full. Would come again :)

Visited as part of an organised Tapas Tour and definitely the best of the three restaurants we visited.
Had a set menu of four mini tapas and all delicious - the marinated fig and goats cheese on crunchy sourdough was the best dish.
Served with Estrella Galicia Cerveza lager - perfect.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
The tables are quite small and the back of the restaurant is too dark for me so try and book a table towards the front.

Rustic nook for modern European food

Perfect for a date night if you can get a table along the wall. We got a table right at the corner above the stairs and loved how isolated it was from everyone else.

Food wise, I loved every single dish. It's rare when I can say that, but each one's flavors excelled in their own ways. From the salty anchovies to our not too sweet dessert, each dish was like a little adventure. I particularly loved the scallops with the peas. One dish I was very surprised by was their side of greens. It didn't seem special, but our waitress highly suggested it. The dressing was light and let the greens shine. Other salads get dosed in dressing and you can't taste the greens at all. This one was perfect.

The service was spectacular. Our waitress was so kind and gave us great recommendations for the whole meal.

I can't wait to come again!
First time to the restaurant and heard great things - we ordered two Sirloin beef 400g, croquettes, scallops and the potatoes. Personally think the beef texture could be better and would have liked to pair with another kind of sauce e.g. peppercorn sauce. The service, drinks, starters and sides are nice though 👍🏻 might be better to just order one beef and enjoy a variety of mains. A bit pricey but a nice dining experience overall.

It was decent food, but a bit underwhelming.
I would recommend the goats cheese sourdough and pan con tomate the most.
The servers were really nice and friendly, but considering you walk up to get plates yourself and there is a service charge added on the bill, we gave 3 star.

I usually don’t go to steak restaurants in London as they usually disappoint me. This one however, I really liked. Prime steak was so soft and juicy. Service was excellent. Would go back again!

Fantastically well done. Excellent, friendly service. All dishes were really well done, nothing over the top, but great execution. We actually preferred it to Hawksmoor. Really quite unexpected, but highly recommended. Great staff too. You should try it.

This restaurant wasn’t entirely what I was expecting but it was a very nice, niche find! It’s essentially a ‘help yourself’ to a variety of authentic Spanish tapas. I found the prices to be quite high for every dish & do think you could get more food for less in other tapas restaurants!

With that said, the staff were very cheery and helpful and the vibe was unmatched! The food was obviously very delicately made and presented. Wouldn’t necessarily come here again but I’d definitely recommend just to try at least once!
So very good. An exceptionally good place, great value. Michelin-standard food, really clever combinations of taste and texture so you'll even trust them to try the olive oil ice-cream for dessert (it was amazing). The waiter was clearly interested in doing his job well. The dining room was charming. We will definitely go back.

Restaurant in a historic place with authentic atmosphere.

The food is fresh, tasty and in good portions. The lunch have a good choice of food plates but not excessive. Proof of quality.

The service is really great, the waiters are there for you and give good advices.

Really a must do if you want some scottish quality food experience.

And a good place to accommodate groups.

Loved this place. Pinxtos were great (so good I ate too many) and the sangria was really good. Good music and atmosphere, a little gem.

Food was really good, steak was cook to perfection, snails were yummy. Would prefer a thicker bread to soak the garlic oil tho! Our first time here and we went on a Valentine. Definitely another good choice around Windsor if craving steak besides Meat at The Parish.

Consistently great, been twice at different times and will definitely go back. Nice selection of mocktails and alcohol-free options, as well as wide menu of great food. Generous portions and quality service from staff. Good space to get around with wheelchair and accessible bathroom clean and with enough space to use.

The staff were incredibly friendly. Foods could have been better but it was enjoyable to some level. We ordered Arabiata pasta and Philly cheesesteak pizza which were both good but could have been slightly better. The atmosphere was very cosy and warm. It's a nice place for a date. The drinks were both nice, especially the strawberry lemonade was my wife's favourite! The only thing we did not enjoy was the steak on our pizza which we didn't like the taste.

Amazing good quality juicy steaks that were cooked to perfection. The chateaubriand was exceptional for the price. Good selection of sides and plenty of sauces! Nice relaxed atmosphere, with really friendly staff. Highly recommended!
The steak was OK and the food decent. If you are looking for a South African experience though then this is not the place.

Saw this place when we arrived on our holiday Sunday,we knew we wanted to try and we're not disappointed. Lovely staff, polite and friendly with beautiful food. The full rack of ribs with corn on cob were amazing and the baked salmon on broccoli and green beans with new potatoes and a saffron cream sauce with red chilli was out of this world, fully recommend. Glass of wine and Apple juice with still water, total was £52.50 .
Nicely decorated to give a Turkish feel.
We ordered the veggie Moussaka, salmon skewers, lamb meatballs and a portion of rice. The salmon was delicious with a crispy texture. Meatballs were also great with rice. We felt the moussaka was missing something and the taste was improved when eaten with the slightly salty rice.
For dessert we really wanted Turkish coffee with baklava but they were all out of baklava for the day. The Turkish coffee was a pleasant surprise and very nice - we had one medium sweet and the other very sweet.
All in all a good place to get a bite to eat and we managed to escape the torrential rain after visiting the British Museum.

It is a restaurant where you can taste authentic Spanish-style tapas, and the price is reasonable, so you can enjoy it without hesitation. However, the table for two is too narrow and the table spacing is too close to match the corona era, so the back is close enough to touch the back of the person. 5 stars if this is solved
A really nice and friendly atmosphere, well presented and inviting. The food was first class and stirred my memories of Anatolia. Good portions, tasty and with adequate time between courses for it to sink in. Didn’t burn a hole in my pocket. Will we return? You bet we will 👍🏻
Amazing food in an idyllic setting with lots of plants and lights to give it that Mediterranean feel. We had the set lunch which includes wine two starters each and a main. You also get some olives and bread with an amazing dip to nibble on. All for £21! Great and attentive service and the food was amazing.

The ambience is really nice. The service was good but it took a bit long to the food to come. The food is good. Nothing out of this world, but it is a good food. If you are in central area, it's a good option in Bournemouth.
A lovely meal at High Timer where the food is excellent. Personally I had the cod which was very tasty but most in our party had steak which I was told was delicious. We dined outside on a glorious summers evening and watched the full moon pass the Shard. Starters was smoked salmon and the desert was a superb malva pudding. There is a wide choice of food to suit your taste but if you prefer the taste of South Africa you will not be disappointed. The wine cellar has a large selection of wines and the ambience of the restaurant is subtle African. A very nice night out in the heart of the city with superb views along the Thames.
