I don’t review many places.. but a huge thank you for a lovely experience @ Little Dessert Shop Bolton earlier. All staff were very friendly, competent and attentive- they couldn’t do enough for me today! 🥰
It really is 🍨 dessert heaven for those with a ‘sweet tooth ’ & they’ve a great choice of drinks too!
Seating was great for both small & larger groups, or even if you’re working away like me (on own and with just the 💻 for company) … getting a sweet 🍰 treat and ☕️ in a cosy setting was very welcomed!

Spent a lot of money on three cheesecakes, but these were the worst in my life. Dull, wrong texture, too sweet, weird tastes. Left almost half. Never recommend.
Compliments to Aisha whose service was 10/10, she provided excellent customer service and ensured all our needs were met. despite having food allergies, she made sure the desserts didn’t contain nuts.

I placed and order- 2 milkshakes and a red velvet cake. the 2 milk shakes were good but the cake was inedible. It was dry, rotten and tasteless I would recommend the dessert store to not serve this unless they taste it themselves.

Was really looking forward to this place after watching videos on social. Was really disappointed. Got 2 pulled beef burgers which were really small and looked like a kids burger. Also got 1 chicken zesty burger again was really small. Definitely not worth the money. Theres better places like miami and burger box(Longsight) if you want good burgers worth your money. The customer service could be better. Left this place after eating them burgers and was still hungry. Won't be visiting this place again. Its a shame as I was really looking forward to this and I travelled 20miles.
I placed an order through Uber Eats and at the end I had to ask them for help because I haven't received my order, the restaurant didn't pick up the phone at all (I phoned 6! times in 80-90 minutes) and completely ignored my online requests for updates.
Even one star is far too much but unfortunately there is no possibility to give less than that :-/

Nice food. Good packaging and branding. Milkshake was thick and comes with a plastic straw.
Incredible choice of desserts and drinks from hot to cold. I had a cheese cake with latte - not too sweet and very light. Polite and friendly staff. Highly recommend to visit.
My experience with Cube Desserts was incredibly disappointing. Despite their close proximity, my order, consisting of just two drinks, arrived a staggering 2 hours late. I had to make over five calls to their customer service, enduring false promises that the driver would be right outside my building in 2 minutes. I shivered in the cold for more than 10 minutes, having to descend twice to collect my order. When it finally arrived, the drinks had leaked through the bag and were completely ruined. Their customer service was equally atrocious, instructing me to seek a refund through Uber Eats, yet failing to mark my order as complete, rendering me unable to process the refund. A truly nightmarish experience.

Very reasonable price compared to other dessert parlours in Bolton. Parking is bit tricky
Apparently the best dessert place in Bolton and now I know why, bought milkshake there and it was of high quality these guys don’t shy away from quality ingredients. Price is fair and service was reasonable considering how busy they were! Parking on the road or side street! Don’t park at farmhouse you’ll get a fine. Payment cash or card. Must try if you’re in Bolton.

Odered 4 milkshakes w1 Tenno Ice blas and 3 wallfeels a waffle didn’t come and the tengo ice blast
They don't sell ice cream they sell a entire meal but it was delicious the brownie cube full of chocolate and they sell the vanilla version too
I really liked the place. Very interesting features that I have not seen anywhere else, for example a cool place for taking romantic selfies.
They have an amazing deal going on, offering half peri peri chicken, rice, chips and fries for 7£. This deal is a steal. The chicken is tasteful and the rice are cooked to perfection. Definitely recommended.
I ordered with these tonight they took 2 hrs and they then rang me and said the driver was lost, but he would be on his way. 20minutes later they cancelled my order. Then stayed too far to deliver. Even though its an 8min drive, Absolutely shocking service!! Never again

The lady was rude and standoffish and just said yea he’s on his way. She said he’d call me. Another twenty mins passes, no order, no call. I called back- no answer. Called again and again. No answer. Called again - now she’s blocked my number or turned off the phone.
I’d given up when the driver calls me (this is no an hour after I first called the shop). He’s apparently ten mins away and had some problems as he got pulled over by the police.
He said he was fifteen mins away and the food was apparently still hot and slushie not melted!
I waited another half and hour. Tried to call him, text him - no reply. Called again and again and tried the shop again - no response.
Three hours after I placed the order it arrived. Was completely cold and inedible and to be honest even if had have been hot it still would have been pretty awful food. All in all I spent over two hours chasing the order up and tried to call at least 30 times! Not to mention the texts!

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Spoke to them twice that order was late. Staff was rude and put the phone down on me. Then think they blocked my number. Order was over £50 that we never revived. Absolutely ridiculous service. I’m surprised they still have a business. Complete joke! Stay clear from this place.

Good atmosphere - the food here is pretty good and so is the shisha. Music isn't too loud so you can actually have a conversation. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
Me and a couple of mates visited here yesterday for the first time and ordered double chicken burgers half spicy and couldn't believe how fresh and nice the food tasted. We all agreed it was the best chicken burger we have had in a long time, and highly rate the food. Will definitely be returning!

I frequently order take-away from Presko and have yet to be disappointed. Their food is delicious and I heartily recommend the caesar salad although the burgers are also very good. If it's desserts you're after then this is the place. Ice-cream sundaes are my favourites but the cheesecake is also to die for and don't get me started on the milkshakes!

Food arrived 45 mins late, order placed at 10pm!!! Rang up at 11.30 to see where order was and staff who answered phone very rude and told me it was out on delievery. Food arrived 20 mins later. Have order these items before so know what they should look like. Vegan lotus bar, gluten free brownies, I recieved 2 cake slices so no way they are correct. Tried to ring them to get it sorted but not answering the phone

I've just been into Krispy Chicken again tonight and the manager recognised me from the other night. Ok look, a few people have been saying unjust things about him in some of their reviews. I found him interactive, polite, friendly and respectful. When I went in I had to wait a while as they were snowed under. The manager explained this to me. Now, if you feel that you don't want to wait then there are plenty of other eateries on the Road. It was busy tonight which gave me a chance to watch his people skills. Tbh he was great with customers who he knew and those who he didn't know. Sure, if you go bouncing in with an attitude he doesn't look like the kind of character who will take that kind of disrespect. But then would you if you were in his place? Be honest. So yeah. Some of the reviews on here have been quite personal towards the manager. If you have a problem with the food, which myself and lots of others don't, then it's you right to complain. But forget the character assassination as I was in there a while tonight and the other night and didn't see that. Anyway I just wanted to add that. The food is definitely overpriced and the portions are definitely not what they seem from their instagram. the burger it self isn’t even anything special. The only good thing is their staff they were very nice. But i’ll definitely not be eating here again. £11 wasted
I ordered kebab , lamb, decent size serving, taste was not as great as Iranian Chilo Kebab has, plus they don't serve it with rice, inside they have some noisy atmosphere, outside setting was available though with lot of shisha smokers ( troublesome) for non smokers and having smoke allergy, was fair but not that great.. service was excellent, prices were reasonable,

I’ve ordered food on the website the money was deducted from my account,and the food was one minute away, according to the delivery app. The food never arrived after 2 hours of waiting, the shop was closed. I contacted the manager the next day to discuss the matter; he was extremely rude and had awful customer service; he never apologised and simply stated that there was a technical issue and that the business was closed. I still haven’t received my refund two weeks later.

Worth the journey from South London, purely based on the great value for money, amazing hospitality and top quality shisha. I really enjoyed the music too, learning some of the classic Persian pop songs.
Very unassuming from the outside however it is a tastefully designed hangout with humourous LED art.

I tried for the first time with my friend who regularly goes there. She recommended the desi tea which was standard. Decor is beautiful, quick and efficient service.
Visit shake down really disappointed. Prices are almost same like Archie’s but food not good at all. As per the price it’s not worth it. Beefed up burger was so dry not juicy at all. Stack sandwich comes with 2 fried strips and beef patty nothing special. I hope they improve their taste as per the price. Better to visit Burgerism or Legends for good taste in less price.

Called the restraunt and was addressed with a rude lady on the phone. Told it would be about 20mins. 50 minutes later called back and she apparently passed my number to the driver. Its now 10.23pm and I still haven't recieved my food. Or had a call from the driver.
I have tried to call back but they are now closed.
Avoid ordering at all costs. They are difficult to speak to and they clearly don't deliver your food.

I always come here for shisha but their prices have raised recently. The shisha unfortunately burns very quickly and isn’t of great quality and the quality of food changes everyday.

I love this place! Visited Shakedown during the first lockdown we had and the smash burgers were amazing then. I went last Sunday for Iftar I was so looking forward to the burgers and hoping they would taste the same simce the last time i had them, and they do! If not better! Definitely will be paying a visit again, I'd probably say this is the best place for a smash burger I've come across so far 😋

A 10 mile journey took 3 hours and this was the state of the cake. I several times but went to answer phone, eventually got through to be told at 2 hours that it was on its way, it turned up an hour later.
AVOID! Delivery said 6pm latest, arrived 8.05pm and hotdog was stone cold and ice cream had fully melted. They said on Just Eat it had been delivered at 6.20pm which was a total lie. Price is crazy for the poor service and terrible food. I would have liked to have put 0 stars. Will never order from there again. Trying to get my money back from Just Eat as had to bin the lot but they are being difficult as it arrived - cannot believe that, how is food delivered 2 hours late going to be edible?
One of the OG chicken shops banging taste and fresh. No queues because the TikTok reviewers don’t know about it thank god. The spicy burger 10/10 🤤🤤

Ordered snickers milkshake and got peanut butter milkshake!
I rang to confirm what i had received as it didnt taste right and the staff was very rude asking 'what do you want me to do about it' . I went back to the shop to complain and again she was very rude and said 'can you not see the packet says snicker', I tried responding but she ignored me and went on to speaking to other customers and didn't bother acknowledging I was there.
I even asked to see the manager and she ignored me.
I eventually just left the milkshake there and walked out.
Won't be returning back there ever again!

I had ordered by delivery from Players Rochdale in the past, however eating there was a different experience: fresh chips, cheeseburger still warm and very tasty as well as the milkshake.

Great place. Great desserts. The ubereats driver forgot my got drinks but the restaurant manager was very apologetic and made sure my drinks were remade and sent ASAP. Long time customer and will definitely order again as their customer service, care and food quality is great.

My five year old asked me daddy who squeezed my burger. I am a big burger fan and have eaten in many countries and uptill now this was my worst burger experience ever. The girl on the counter was good, explained a bit than our order came in 25 minutes. Two burger meals and one on its own took 25 minutes. Fries were very good and hot but burgers were cold.
One customer in the takeaway was continuously vaping on the counter but the counter guy didnt say anything at all. He had no courage to tell him to go out.
There was a lack of customer service. I would say going there first time I think I made some expectations myself and found this takeaway a very low category burger shop.

ZERO STARS! ABSOLUTE DISGRACE, DO NOT ORDER! Food arrived over 1 hour late. Rang 4 times, spoke to a girl who didn’t show any regard or take any ownership. 1st call.. food is round the corner, 2nd call.. driver has turned his tracker off, 3rd call.. I’ll contact the driver and call you back.. (no call back), 4th call.. I’ll call you back (of course no call back)! Ice cream chocolate brownie sundae arrived as cream chocolate brownie sundae, as it was totally melted and the brownie was soggy. The taste was awful and it went straight in the bin. When we asked the driver when he collected he said 30 mins ago (although 15 min drive), so she was fobbing us off for an hour! This place is not cheap, £20 for 2 sundaes. They urgently require a customer service adviser that cares and helps and better quality food, and of course fast delivery (especially when it’s ice cream)! Extremely disappointed, ruined I’m a celebrity get me out of here!
Popped in for a coffee and a snack for myself and the family. Great value for money and very tasty quesadillas. The staff are very friendly and approachable. Would definitely recommend.

Possibly the worst hot dog I’ve ever had. Ordered a chilli dog, it arrived with this mystery sludge mushy meat. Could barely finish it, and I was starving.

Such an amazing place! Staff are so lovely and helpful and discussed the options which were available to fit my food allergies. Although it was a busy place, they didn’t rush me to make a decision of what I wanted and were all so friendly and showed great customer service skills.

Ordered a banana waffle with ice cream....
Sat outside and waited in expectation...... and waited as more people had come in after me.
10 minutes or so later they served the 2 people opposite me, the guy was served a banana waffle with ice cream. After he started eating it he said this isn't what I ordered to his partner but carried on eating it, after 2 or 3 mins his partner was served similar but in a wrap.
2 or 3 minutes after that I could see the girl who served me looking out at me and talking to someone else in the shop probably realising she had served the wrong order as mine would have been a single order. After a further minute or so I was brought a biscoff waffle by a male member of staff who I had not seen before, I said 'thats not mine', he replied 'do you want it'?, I said no and he disappeared back into the shop not offering to replace it or an explanation of what had happened.
Not having another 15 minutes to waste, I followed him in and asked for a refund as I had already waited 15 mins or so, which he duly gave me in 6 pound coins and one pound fifty in 20p and 10p pieces as he couldn't work out how to refund via the machine as I had paid by card.
Shame, the food looked good.
Seemed the 3 staff were distracted and chatting to each other and changing the music on the portable speaker and not concentrating on service.

Went in to get a milkshake lovely family run business from a family moved back from Australia kindest people I’ve met and food was a 1000/10 absolutely gorgeous
I had a lovely cappuccino And a beautiful Doughnut as well the staff are amazing attentive and helpful I wish all the best for that shop
We had breakfast at the place and loved everything! If you're checking google maps for the menu, know that it's different now, it's mainly burgers, hotdogs and desserts. We ordered a burger, a new yorker hotdog and waffles with strawberry and nutella. Everything tasted great, especially the waffles, one of the best waffles I have ever tried! Definitely try them if you dine here.
What a diamond this place is. Run by a family moved back from Australia. I had the Biscoff waffle which was amazing and the service was so friendly despite being extremely busy. Will return again and again to

Wow first time here food was brilliant, price was a bit expensive for what it is, only lost 1 star due to lack of cooling on a hot day as the building is mainly glass and sun was boiling the glass haha made it very uncomfortable to eat inside as there was no air conditioning on. Second reason was because the chips were very poor for the price, no salt no nothing. Both me and my friend ended up chucking them away after just a few bites which is very bad as we don't like wasting food but they need something done to them as even with sauce they just not very edible. Will deffinately be back in future again, staff were very friendly. Hopefully you can improve on these two tiny things.
Enjoyed my food, the staff were so nice and friendly. I had the American fried burger meal, burger was good, loved the skin on fries and also got the Side chicks to try which i really enjoyed. Should defo try them. We also tried the oreo waffle which was ok but we were so stuffed we only took a bite of the waffle and ended up taking it home.
My go to place when im in the area.

...I regret my past self's ignorance.
Myself and my parents, 3 very different meals but they nailed them. My burger tasted great, wasn't oversized and they knew how to make a good chip. The curry we asked for a little heat to it (as it was advertised as being mild) and it came out at the right spiciness, and the kare kare was quite light but great tasting as well. Desserts were pretty large, obviously homemade and delicious.
Sit in prices were pretty cheap, the takeaway option looked like it would be even cheaper!
I'd certainly label this somewhat of a hidden gem.

Great selection of British and fillipino food, we really enjoyed our food and server very pleasant and helpful. One small thing to improve upon, simply heat the plates, hot food should be served on hot plates. Plates were freezing cold therefore food quickly became cold. Will definitely go back.
