Some of the gravestones in this graveyard are very old theres lots to see but watch out as its off the lothian road and there Is some drug paraphernalia like old needles and the like in this graveyard. . You can also walk from this graveyard to princes Street Gardens so that's handy.
The church is located at the heart of Edinburgh city.

Fantastic church! Such warm- hearted and kind people. Xxxx
Westminster Chapel is a Home away from home. They are loving and welcoming. The reception from the entrance of the church hall is commendable.
I don't regret deciding to join the Westminster Chapel family.
Lovely quiet spot. Very helpful gent in the church telling us the history. And where Agatha Christie got married for the second time

Open House allowed us access and I was impressed with the way the building had been restored and made fit for 21st use.

I attended while visiting London in June. The hospitality was beyond anything I have experienced. You immediately feel like you are a part of the church. The word was faithfully preached, the gifts of the Spirit were evident, and Jesus was glorified.
Just listening to the choral even song on Radio 3. What a spectacular church. I feel like I've had a glimpse of Heaven.
So glad I did not miss going to this lovely kirk l surrounded by its kirkyard and gardens. Two lovely elderly keepers inside who are so so knowledgeable and so enthusiastic about the place and its origins. Lovely talking to them. Impressive also to see the small chapel where Agatha Christie celebrated her second marriage.
Unbelievable that a church sent me a penalty fine because I’ve parked my car to visit my sick family. I can’t believe that, this is awful! They won’t leave you alone until you pay their fine.
This is the right place to go when you have Christ in your heart🙏❤️
Located in the long shadows of Edinburgh Castle lies an atmospheric church, nestled amongst a landscape of headstones, paths and trees. Often passed by without thought this place provides the opportunity for a refuge from the hustle of the streets above. Walk here in silence and reflect on those who have come before. Stop and read their stories on the markers and headstones. The paths offer a chance to relax and slow down and contemplate the history of this great city.
Cute little gem at the heart of Chancery Lane . I couldn’t go in at the time of visit
I cannot remember the last time I had such a beautiful worship service. I probably cried half of the service. The message, the warm ambience, everything was just right
Had a lovely time taking my 1.5 yr old to family carols (she loved the band!). Very welcoming, friendly group, thanks!
Wasn't able to go in but a famous church because of its location looking up at the castle and being positioned in the gardens and just off Princes Street. The graveyard is a great spot for pics of the castle

This is my first time to worship. I really feel that the atmosphere is very good, which makes me very moved.
The best church in the heart of London. I instantly felt welcomed and at home here.

Amazing church with amazing details.
We got this oficial private tour from Westminster that has access to the hidden library which was very nice. It s like a backstage and with lot of histories.

We also went the previous night for the organ festival that was just mind blowing, organ is such a complete instrument.
And having heard the performance in Westminster was just one of the life time experience.
A Church that believes in Jesus Christ and the Bible is the Word from GOD. Seeking the truth and sharing the Good news to others is a great privilege

This church has a family feel and is very friendly. The main reason for this post is to correct the unfair misconception that some people seem to have regarding parking. Reviews complaining about parking tickets are inappropriate as they are not reviewing the church; the church does not operate a public car park. The church parking areas are not a public car park, they are for church use. The church does not actually get any money from the parking tickets that are issued. All money from ticket payments go to the parking enforcement company. To avoid getting a ticket, there is a council operated car park next door for public use.

Bible based teachings. Exactly what this generation needs to hear. If your feel lost and need a Light and a Savior - here you will find what you are looking for - Jesus🌱 Here will you learn what God expects from you. If the Bible is the Book you want to follow, here you will find brothers and sisters who will take you with them on this journey.
Had I seen all of the parking complaints I would have known... funny story though... I parked there to go next door to have a guitar restrung to give to THAT VERY CHURCH for Christmas. I never, in a million years thought that late in the day, early evening, in an empty lot of the church, anyone would even care. I'm guessing your membership has been on the decline and you have to pay the bills somehow. I cannot imagine why. In all my life, I have never seen that kind of extortion... from a church no less. Guitar going elsewhere.
A Great group of of ladies and gentlemen serving the Worcester Park community
Giving up their Valuable time to serve others
Have just attended a lovely harvest festival thanks giving with my daughter who is now doing some arts and crafts with her friends upstairs. It’s a lovely church and like most of them these days need more people in them. I’m now going to join in with some hymns until 12:15pm.
Beautiful church with a traditional high-church, Anglo-Catholic service. The people and clergy are exceptionally welcoming and friendly.
My local church...Sat in the garden and looked at the sky. Was a lovely bit of a quiet afternoon..

Awful! We got a £100 parking fine for 15 minutes in the carpark. In a pandemic where people are loosing work left right and centre. Very Christian indeed 😒
A church that proclaims the Truth because it is Bible - base, a church wherein Jesus is the center of it all. Lastly, Great and warm fellowship with fellow men and women. May the Lord bless and use you more in the expansion of His kingdom. 🙏🙏
The place is incredibly. It is an old chapel with lot of history throwback in 1800. The graveyard was the same, above the Edinburgh castle. Beautiful view and peaceful.
A great church as it seeks the truth in the Bible.😊

A church it says, but employs a private parking company to give fines that even London doesn’t give. A harassing Parking company btw. They say Jesus forgives but I don’t think he will for you proving to be a greedy, money making machine. Wouldn’t even think of stepping foot in it if I were you, because I don’t think they praise the right things.
great company of people who enjoys studying the scripture and be challenge by its practical application.

They hire a private company that charge £100 for parking in their car park - I was waiting there IN THE CAR with the engine on for less than 20 mins to pick up a costume (which was being used to dress up as a character to entertain children at the HOSPITAL on Christmas Eve I might add!!!!) And when I told them how outrageously disproportionate this fine is, they sent a totally impersonal and cold email back with no interest in helping what so ever. An embarrassment that a church is hiring a private cowboy company to enforce such a ridiculous fine. I would never attend this church.

Would have loved to have gone in but unfortunately it was closed that day. Heard much of the great speakers who've taught here from Morgan Campbell to Martyn-lloyd Jones. Built in 1865 the building is in great shape and continues to play a major but an unobtrusive influence. I say this since most passers-by could not direct us to the location.
Great services and beautiful people

A fascinating old (Victorian) all wooden church. It was re-roofed some years ago and is nicely maintained. Very unusual to see this kind of building completely made of wood, even the chandeliers inside. I believe it was built an an overflow church from St Mary's. It still had regular services but not every Sunday. There is a hall at the back that I understand is available for hire. Parking is tricky in North Street, when services are on there is very limited parking in the church grounds.
A quiet environment in busy central Edinburgh. The park/cemetery has good views of the castle and a Tiffany window features to the left upon entering the nave, next to a large organ. The volunteers are welcoming and keen to impart their knowledge of the church. The church featured a beautiful piece by video artist Bill Viola when visited but the lighting around the display detracted a bit. Otherwise a decent spot for contemplation or rest.
God bless you all

Lovely place to come on a Tuesday 11am-1pm...if you like art or just to meet people.
Join us.
Friendly church who loves and lives for Jesus.
Old & Ancient place well kept in the original shap.
💪🏽♥️👌🏻🗞
Absolutely solemn place to come and pray. It is open not only during mass time need not wait for sundays.
Incredibly anti-social bell chimes that seem to carry on for eternity - on the hour AND half hour. I would like a lie in at 9am on a Saturday please. From, disgruntled Chancery Lane resident.
I stopped by for many services while I was in the area. The membership is welcoming and I felt right at home. They actually took over an old Methodist church so the place reminds me of ancient England. It is well maintained and there is a bookstore inside. The organ sounds great and the services were well worth the time. Wizard of Where
