Wolverhampton is my home town. The council have spent loads of money trying to improve the pedestrian areas and the mander centre. They up the rents, charge extortionate car parking fees, spent millions on the town hall. Surely you need to encourage buisness back into the town area itself. It has slowly gone downhill, shops ,pubs and restaurants closing. It will soon end up being a ghost town. TRY AND ENCOURAGE FOLK BACK ONTO THE STEETS. Dont kill it all together

very bad . they come to take rubbish bin but they didn’t take my brown bin . i don’t know why many times they do same. if we pay for it why they are not taking our rubbish properly. thanks.

Maybe employee professional people that they know what they doing I have been driver for Wolverhampton for 8 years my plate was finishing I did not receive no notification email! Luckily I remember and applied online!! I Wait over a month I didn’t received no appointment, so I phoned Wolverhampton they told me that come down tomorrow and get your plate! I said shouldn’t I receive a email in advance if I didn’t phone today I could have missed the appointment she said well you have an appointment now! When I did arrive at the appointment they way they checked my car I felt like I was doing another MOT! Also my badge was finish I did not receive no notification so I forgot I have only one week left for my badge to expire when I phoned them they said that I need to prove my work state I said how am I supposed to know that it’s in your system until you don’t ask me what you need? how can I bring it to show you! They try to blame for forgetting, first they didn’t have clue why I was there when said I was asked to prove my work state she we already have that! Let me go and talk to my manager she said, she came back knowing that they have forget to notify me in advance so she said yes we didn’t have copy of your passport so I said what should I do now i be off work thank you guys she said well I have send it now it will take 10 days to process! I said it’s your guys mistake you guys forgot to notify me in advance or asked me send your they details you need, now I’m have lose my earning because you guys can’t do your job properly!

I am so grateful to William for his high standard of customer service today. He was so polite and professional in dealing with all my queries today from billing enquiries to postal bill statements and garden waste collection service. He was extremely knowledgeable and dealt with all my questions with the highest level of professionalism and with ease and efficiency .

I wish i had option to give zero star no one know wants to do the their job of telling people about their queries and instead just put on hold or keep forwarding call from one to another. Very disappointing and very rude staff.

i have never lived in such a non responsive council! they dont care about their residents, the always say they will send an email to teams and you get nothing! i asked and paid for a bin 4 months ago and still have nothing! i call all the time and no updates. nobody to speak to! they just take your money. I have put a formal complaint through but i am sure nothing will happen

Absolutely useless council. We pay more and more council tax each year only to see the services reduce more and more each year.
If Wolverhampton Council were a private company, they'd have been sacked decades ago.

If I could leave zero stars for this horrible council I would! After learning of this poor little boys death I blame this disgusting council! My mother also lives on the 13th floor in one of your horrible flats with absolutely no security what so ever! The windows are a sham for families especially with children! I BLAME THE COUNCIL FOR THIS! It’s traumatising to even know let alone what this poor family is going through I don’t know how you as a housing organisation can live with yourselves! MAKE THESE PROPERTIES SAFE YOU HORRIBLE COUNCIL! Why is there no safety nets no nothing! Horrifying!!!!!!

Seriously, I cant believe it. I was issued a parking fine for which I paid but entered the wrong reg as my private plate was stuck on my new car and I entered the other reg by mistake. I appealed a d provided all the evidence including the paid session on a wrong reg and also the log books. Still they refused my appeal saying it was my responsibility to enter the correct reg, yes it was but unfortunately we are not robots but humans and this was not an intentional mistake and the bloody parking charge was paid. Absolutely greedy pathetic. Not here to serve the public but to con them. Best you shut down appeals department and save more money. Honestly I just paid the fine coz I haven't got the time to appeal further. But @newham council karma will get you. No wonder things are getting worse as you guys have no morals. You took my hard earned money even when I paid for my parking that's all I know. Disgusting pathetic animals.

Disgusting housing not willing to help my family the house where I am In is infested with mould which is dangerous to disability people and we pay are rent and taxes and what are we getting nothing I think they should get of there lazy fat backsides and do some work if they carry on like this we will be heading the same way as Birmingham banked rupt mind you could always see a lawyer see what they say

Very negative customer services!
I have a terrible heavy leak coming from a communal loft that only the council has got access to.
This has/is causing great damage to my property eg my tiles and wooden doors and flooring.
The council insists this is not an emergency and have given me an appointment for- in 3 weeks time.
None of the managers care.

Where do I begin, for the past four months I have been trying to get a simple answer and yet no one would take ownership of a simple request and get back to you. I have called over 25 times and this useless council would ask you to call again. A few times they would hang up the phone as they are so incompetent to even listen to their customers queries.
I have even complained on their website and yet they don’t get back to you with an answer. The funny thing is I even asked the customer service guy how long does it take before someone can get back to my complaint, he said I don’t know.
You treat your customers like scumbags, you don’t treat them with respect, at least do your jobs for which you get paid for.

Awful website which is continually undergoing 'essential maintenance', yet never works properly.
Council operates at lightening speed to collect fines for parking / driving violations however anything reported to improve the area is ignored / it's not the right department / issue can't be found.
Despite the low score for this council, there appears to be no action to make any improvements.Would love to understand the purpose of the so called 'Mayor'.

I use to live here years ago as a child my family loved it we use to live on bacon's Lane birdshome my mother sadly died and I came back home where I love ❤ Chesterfield every thing about it the council are great and very helpful and if you have any problems they are always happy to help you the staff are polite also very understanding thank you 😊 to all of your staff and thanks for your support

Do not trust this council they have stolen an out door light . And did not return it to the rental home. We have reported to the council multiple times that there are mould and damp in the building that is a health hazard. Also this council is in debt

Today (Thursday 7/1), I forgot to put our black wheelie bin (which was full) out for emptying. I rang Chesterfield Borough Council's Refuse Collection Dept., to ask what could be done. They advised me to leave the bin out whilst they rang their people to see if it could be collected. Within three quarters of an hour I was rather taken aback to notice that they'd returned and emptied it, without me even seeing them. Now that's what I call superb service. So I'd like to say a big 'Thank you!' to the people involved. We are very grateful.

My daughter rang up emergency council last night due to having no heating or hot water, ( water was pouring out from her boiler ) the person on the other end said it wasn't an emergency & to call council tomorrow. this was on the ( 07/12/20.) in this cold weather. she is disabled & has learning difficulties. rang them up today and they said it could be up to 24 hours, if there not out by 5pm today it will be tomorrow. this is disgusting so please tell me what actually now classes as an emergency nowadays.

I needed to have removed an old 3 seater sofa. Looked on line to see who I contacted to have this happen. Saw that I had to telephone and speak to arrange this. It could not hve been easier, the young lady was helpful and its all arrange to be collected in 5 working days for £15. Being disabled and a pensioner being able to access this kind of help at a reasonable cost and safely is great.
