We stayed 12 amazing nights at Legian Beach hotel got a great deal and was for our anniversary. Staff, location and accommodation nothing shy of fantastic! We have found it to be our new home away from home just wish there were more deals to make it more affordable to visit more frequently.

Recently stayed here for a week solo in a deluxe garden bungalow. Location is perfect so close to everything. Staff are amazing super friendly and will go above and beyond to assist you with anything you need. Food & drinks along with entertainment outstanding 👌 2 x pools one adults only with easy access via ramp if required is fantastic. My family have stayed here for over 10 years and even have a family plaque planted in one of gardens as we all always include a stay here on our Bali travels. I highly recommend staying here and hopefully will be coming back for many more years to come 😊
Amazing place to stay. Location is fantastic right on the beach. Staff are super helpful and service is amazing! We had our son with us in his wheelchair and this place went above and beyond to help accommodate us. We can’t thank them enough. Stayed a few times now and we will be back !
A great location, nestled between the beachfront (have to cross a road) and the shopping/restaurant streets. It’s like an oasis from the chaos. The grounds are beautifully kept.
We had a deluxe pool villa, private garden and pool, beautiful large room and bathroom. Loved the semi outdoor shower.
Booking a pool villa gave some extra perks - 4 pieces of laundry daily, happy hour drinks, discounts on spa treatments (didn’t go so no reviews on that).
The adults only pool was lovely, swim up bar especially.
Breakfast buffet was extensive and yum. Loads of different options for all nationalities. The other food options (didn’t eat here much though) was okay, not great but not bad.

Having a fantastic 5-day stay here. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Service is constant there's always somebody to help. The grounds have amazing tropical landscaping.

There are Asian Western Italian and Japanese restaurants. dining we had there were all good (though sometimes a bit formal). They also have events (at an extra cost) going on in the evenings. The location is great.

Excellent service and large rooms with fabulous bathroom (stone bath and open air shower). Right in the temple complex - but down alley way so very private. Beautiful tropical greenery and pool area. For the price hard to find better in Bali.
Went here for my last three days in Bali. Great value, fairly simple resort. Staff were excellent. Only minor point would be the TV signal was really bad. Note for foreigners it's 75k entry fee to Tanah Lot.
Gorgeous and luxurious rooms with a nice view to the beach, which the hotel is right next to. The staff was very friendly and helpful; they also spoke English quite well. The pool is also a nice alternative to the ocean when the waves are too big. Around the hotel are a few shops and a big grocery store but otherwise not much you can do without travelling with a vehicle. The food was fine but there are better restaurants around that.are worth exploring
We had such a great stay at Swarga Suites!
The location is perfect; right next to the beach, close to some of the best restaurants in Canggu, and also plenty of convenience stores nearby...but also feels removed from the hustle and bustle.
The staff we're very friendly and attentive too.

We had a great stay at Swarga. Strategic location, with direct access to the beach, beautiful sunset view and was close to many good restaurants & cafes around Canggu. The pool was big too. Sadly, the breakfast quality & taste did not meet our expectations. The hotel is overall very nice. Thank you for your service!
All staff at the hotel were super warm and tentative. Room was huge, and the balcony with the pool access was absolutely beautiful. Afternoon tea set was delightful to enjoy by the poolside. Walking distance to Atlas beach club plus free entry provided for hotel guests was amazing! Definitely recommend
Despite previous reviews I had a really lovely stay. The staff were excellent and always helpful and the breakfast was amazing - the beef ribs were incredible also!
Would certainly recommend as although no direct access to the beach it is pretty central. You have access to a driver and some mopeds and that definitely helps!

Wrapping up my blissful 3-week Bali vacation with an incredible stay at Swarga for my final three nights. Happiness knows no bounds here! Swarga offers luxurious accommodations complemented by exceptional staff and an amazing vibe. The location is simply ideal, with beautifully spacious rooms that exceed expectations, especially the stunning bathrooms. The thoughtful perks like complimentary tea, beer daily, and two pieces of laundry service for a minimum three-night stay made it even more delightful. This place is a gem; you can choose it blindly for your stay. Already planning my return
OMG, just Amazing! Found this place through a friend and lucked out…. November is suppose to be rainy season but until tonight has no rain at all. The Hotel is fantastic, great sized rooms and the extras were very unexpected. The must is the upstairs restaurant (Moonlight) particularly at sunset with a fantastic menu. The service has been first class and great value with fantastic cocktails! Put this little gem on your list! 🍹

The pool was always inviting and was very child-friendly because the height was only at 60cm. 1.2 was at the other end.
At the moment the room comes with a free entry to Atlas beach club. And also comes with free beer for 2 and also Daily tee time food and drinks.
The breakfast was not too bad but the food was constant everyday.
It is a very good hotel for relaxing and being alone because the premise is not crowded and noisy.
All the hotel staff will very polite and very helpful as well.
The room had a good view because it was beach facing and you can see sunset from the room itself.
That is the sundeck area where it faces the sunset also.
The price of the hotel was on the middle to high side. But with all the freebies thrown in it is quite worth it.
What I did not like however was that they were repairing the balcony on the weekend. It was noisy works as well and that lasted between 9 a.m. to about 3 to 4 p.m. for this reason I did not give 5-star rating for this hotel stay.
I understand that looks need to be done to maintain the premises however that should stop in the weekends.

Our stay at the Mulia Villas was relaxing and enjoyable. The Villa exceeded expectations & was a comfortable & relaxing space to spend time in. The resort offered many dining, drinking, swimming & relaxing spaces to enjoy. The treatments at the spa were wonderful. The staff in all areas were welcoming, polite, friendly and very accommodating. Especially enjoyed the Living Room. This was a truly relaxing holiday with no real need to leave the resort. Looking forward to returning there again.

Sehr schönes, kleines Hotel mit viel Grün und 2 min von Tanah Lot. Personal sehr Aufmerksam, super Frühstück, sehr großes Zimmer und Bad, AC einwandfrei und früh aufstehen lohnt sich - um 07.00 hat man den Tempel fast für sich alleine. Leider nur 1 Nacht - hier kann man länger bleiben. Alles sehr schön angelegt und sauber.

This is an amazing luxury hotel, the service was amazing, the restaurants was amazing, overall I would give it 100/100 it was that good. Though this is more of an adult hotel it is still great for the kids since there is a pool and a beach near by. I would definitely recommend going there if you are staying in Bali mainly because of how good the staff/service was.
Superb experience in staying at the Jimbaran Pruri, Belmond hotel in Bali. Highly recommended to everyone who would like to escape from the crowd, love peace and still get the best hotel service.

Stayed in a Signature Court room for last week. Loved every minute of our stay. Their website doesn’t it justice. Its a large and impressively beautiful resort. The rooms are luxurious. Ours overlooked the central main pool - and there are plenty to choose from - plus the beach. There are several restaurant options within the resort. The staff are simply wonderful: friendly, helpful and professional - from reception to cleaners and maintenance guys you run into. We will be back.
If I could give 10 stars for service, I would. Do yourself a favor and forget the Aman or the Ritz – this is the best resort in the wider Ubud area. The location is stunning, the villa is beyond gorgeous, the no-wall concept is amazing – the area is higher up so you never feel too hot, and they have great cooling system all around. No risks of animals or insects either. I had a broken ankle before I went there and they went above and beyond to make my stay memorable: in room dining everyday, men carrying me around on stretcher up a steep hill. I am so touched and amazed by the level of service here. Already booking my return next year!
This absolutely the best hotel I've stayed with, no wonder it is rated to be among The Best in The World. The property, views, experience, service are just beyond exceptional. It was absolutely The Best at every aspect of it. Every moment, every experience was very unique at its emotions, quality and authenticity. I never had such amazing, high quality service as from every member of Nihi staff. Absolutely the best from the moment you land to Indonedsia (though we arrived a week before our arrival to Nihi, the staff helped us to go through express arrival clearance) until you depart Sumba. I highly recommend this hotel.
Right on the beach, small huts set the tone for a great relaxed beach holiday. The resort was very special and utilized it’s beach front to the maximum. Staff were full of recommendations and even organized a meal on our last night a few minutes up the street at a great restaurant called Cuca. This was our favourite hotel during our trip and we loved Jimbaran.

Breakfast is probably the best I have ever tried, impressive selection and everything of an outstanding quality. I was here for a conference and the conference facilities were great and the food served delicious. I used the gym almost every day - great gym!
I had a magical experience here! The staff were amazing, kind, polite and attentive. We stayed there for only two days. We informed them on arrival as to what activities we were interested in and they arranged the whole day for us exactly to our liking! The fact that the hotel has no doors or windows gives you the freedom to connect with nature, others and yourself. The food was also amazing! I look forward to coming back! We enjoyed the room very much as it also offers an infinity pool.

Only ate at the restaurant, didn't stay at the hotel. Great food, relaxing beachfront location, extensive menu, very good service & good prices.

Extremely satisfied with my stay here. Service has been impeccable and rooms are absolutely stunning. As a vegetarian, the hotel has been super accommodating with all our meals and have assisted us with a lot of things such as activity bookings and other amenities. The location is great as well, it’s nearby many places and has great beach access. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious as well. Overall had a great stay here.
A very new experience staying so close to nature. We enjoyed the room, hospitality, and the food. The activities planned to the private waterfall and to see fireflies was vert interesting and rewarding.

Stayed here for 4 nights back in June with a group of friends for our graduation trip. We were so pleased with our selection of resort since everything truly exceeded our expectations here at the Mulia. The rooms are incredibly spacious with luxurious interior designing, and very clean too. The facilities at the resort are wonderful and are suitable for adults and kids alike! The food here was absolutely amazing. I can guarantee you'll be able to find something suitable for your tastes. The hospitality and service at this resort was incredible. We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. Each staff member was kind, friendly and always willing to accommodate to our needs. My friends and I had such a great trip in Bali and we can confidently say that staying at the Mulia was a big factor in that! I will definitely be coming back here in the near future and highly recommend this resort.
We loved it! What a magical experience. We didn’t want to leave the hotel. The service was so friendly and prompt. They can’t do enough for you. You feel like you’re being welcomed into a family’s home high in the treetops with all their love. I loved living with the squirrels and birds.

The staff went over and above to make our stay a great one. Super friendly and accommodating. Resort is truly boutique - unlike other Jimbaran resorts there are only a few well design villas and staff generally knew us by name. Highly recommended.

What an awful service
We arrived to the venue and the waiters didn’t look at us at all. 15 mins later the musicians asked me how we were and we said they we were waiting to be attended. Then suddenly someone appeared to attend us. Asked for two pina colada with a strawberry splash. Horrendous. They didn’t strain the pineapple. Then we asked for whiskey. So sugary. Lastly we had to wait for 10 mins to get our bill. One thing to mention- we could see how other clients were treated differently and we felt a bit of racism toward us. Horrible experience at Sanur.

Most beautiful place and hotel ever... It was just a dream!!! The staff and service are unbeatable. We were speechless with the view, the wild horses, the food and of course our Marangga Villa. Still can't believe it was real... Definitely planning to go back, it's our new favorite place on earth! :)

A really very nice hotel complex. Although the word hotel doesn't quite get the point. A feel-good oasis with a very great spa area, very good restaurants and a tastefully successful pool. And warm employees. I heard it's only bookable for friendly guests, others should move on.
Nice hotel beautiful grounds, but after 4 stays the hotel is still using plastic bottles in rooms. Given the rubbish in Bali it would be nice for griya to set an example and use glad water bottles
Avoid the old beach wing rooms to the right of the pool. There is only a bath with a very weak hand shower in it and toilets that should not still be in use. The ground floor units have wooden stairs in them to an upstairs separate unit, which is locked, but is very noisy when guests are using the room.
Poolside wait staff and room cleaners are very polite and helpful, but reception and management staff are often less than enthusiastic and don’t go out of their way to be helpful. Generally some of the poorest customer service we’ve ever received in Bali.

It's all about location at the Griya. Bathroom good, excellent supplies. The room not over large but balcony with half day bed nice. Big TV. 2 pools and direct beach access with hotel supplied towel and lounger. Older clientele with few children on our stay. No drunken Aussies or kids. What's not to love.
The most exceptional, special experience! My husband and I were visiting Bali for our honeymoon, and sadly, only got to spend 2 nights with Banyan Tree (we wish we planned for more!!!). The team there is incredible and experience is unmatched. It is extremely intimate - everyone knew our names and their kindness was above and beyond.
Outside of the amazing team, the property itself is incredible. Rooms are tucked away in the middle of the jungle. We walked just 15 minutes down to a waterfall one day! The food is healthy yet tasty and unique. Each day is a different menu, and the team is very flexible in accommodating to find what you want.
I can only say amazing things about this place and hope to be lucky enough to return one day!

We only came here for their lunch which was an all you can eat. It was quite pricey, about $100USD per person but the food was amazing and well presented! However you are unable to enter the facility if you aren't staying there or if you don't know someone who works there.

The beach wing is old and needs some work, particularly on the stairs. Wifi was often patchy. But we still overall had a great time here.

My wife and I arrived from the US for our first trip to Bali. Staying at the Jimbaran Puri, a Belmond Hotel, was our first experience. This is an amazing hotel, wonderful location, incredibly attentive staff and beautiful beach. Everything reported on prior reviews remains true.
A few things took some adjustments. For example, the humidity can cause musty odors which we countered with incense, kindly provided in our room.
On the other hand, our spa experience was a highlight and the hour-long massage eased our travel lag.
Bottom line: Beach, pool, drinks, excellent food, attentive staff, great amenities, a tropical paradise—what else could you want? We hope to come back!

We finished off our multi-destination honeymoon with a 3 night stay at Jimbaran Puri, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. There are not enough fantastic words to say about this gorgeous retreat.
Let's start with the service. We are experienced travellers, having visited over 50 countries between us and staying at hotels and resorts large and small. The staff at Jimbaran Puri were hands down the nicest, most conscientious and straight on-it group we have ever encountered. Whatever questions we had or request we made was met with a smile and fast, impeccable service, and they all genuinely seemed to want to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. A couple of examples: the first morning after arrival, the breakfast staff already knew our names - and it was a completely different staff from the night before; and my husband fell ill (food poisoning from a restaurant before arriving), and the staff offered him herbal tea when they found out, free of charge!
It isn't just the staff, though. The resort itself is stunning, with miles of beach to explore, not to mention the hotel itself. The rooms are very large (we had more than enough room in our garden cottage with the bed area, lounge area, bathroom and patio, and that was the smallest they had on offer) on top of being very well appointed. The breakfast is superb - not as extensive as other breakfasts we've seen, but everything was delicious, especially the French toast. The hotel restaurant is delicious (this may sound ridiculous, but get the burger. Trust me, it's amazing), and just a 1 minute walk down the road is one of the best restaurants in the whole of Bali, Cuca, an Asian fusion tapas-style restaurant that will blow your socks off with every dish.

we were from 17.-31.05. in the Jimbaran Belmond Puri and were completely satisfied. The staff is unique, always friendly, always smiling and fulfilling every wish. The room (Garden Villa) is very spacious and was always clean. the room service comes twice a day. The complex is fantastically designed and always immaculately clean. Towels are provided for the loungers. If you are looking for peace, you will definitely find it here. No culinary wishes remain unfulfilled here. From breakfast to lunch to dinner I'm a real treat. here, too, nothing is left to be desired. The facility deserves every single star. the view of the sunset in the evening is priceless and the beach is quite clean for Bali.
As everyone has said before, some of the rooms are a little old and dated. Shower baths in our room was tough to handle being quite tall.
Position of Hotel is the best though. Close to some awesome restaurants, right in the beach front, short walk to markets, shops and other activities. Hotel drinks and food well priced and has a swim up bar overlooking the beach with heaps of sun lounges to soak up the rays in. Will be back for sure.

I made reservations for breakfast in Ombak restaurant. I spoke to the guy named Upi, he talked to the restaurant manager and got back to me with the price for outside guests and said they reserved the table for us. When we come the following morning, the security did not let us in. They said we have no reservation. I called the same number I spoke to Upi with the night before. Upi was not there and the girl who answered the phone said she didn’t know what to do… Needless to say we got highly disappointed. It’s disgraceful for such a luxury resort like Nihi Sumba to behave like that..
I went from Jakarta to nihi, and I tried to see it with my own eyes and invite my friends, but the guard at the front gate didn't take any action and Just refused .

WOW! Located on the unspoiled island of Sumba, our time at NIHI was extraordinary. From our arrival at the airport to our departure and every moment in between, we were extremely well cared for and felt like family. Everywhere we looked at NIHI was a beautiful sight to behold, though what really sets NIHI apart are the incredible people!

Comfortable seaside hotel with magnificent view. Suitable for sunbathing and beach activities without going anywhere. Breakfast selection could be better with additional variants.
had a most extraordinary two nights stay here. the service was so good all staff made me felt the most positive energy with their sincere happy smile, they were so considerate too that they remembered what I asked for ,such as I asked them to prepare me a bottle of lemon water the first day and they automatically asked me the next day should they prepare it for me again.
the whole environment gave me a peace of mind. one night when I turned off all the lights in my villa for sleep and found a firefly flying in front of my bed and that gave me such a happiness feeling.
I loved my stay over there every minute and I would like to thank all the staff who served me.

Such a magical place with so much to offer. SPA Safari is a must as well as hiking and riding horses on the beach. We had an amazing time and got to relax while enjoying a beautiful scenery.
An absolute disgrace to charge $3000/night for a 1 bed “villa” and lock others out of a surf spot.
I will not visit SUMBA island and would encourage others to avoid as well.

I hope the sumba people wake up and realise they are only hurting them selves and enhancing the wealth of the resort owners.

We stayed for four nights at the Natya hotel and we had a great time. The hotel is close to shopping, restaurants, and the Tanah lot temple. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The larger delux rooms are definitely worth the small additional cost. Finally, we were very happy with the hotel staff; everyone was extremely helpful and polite.
Update: We returned to Bali this year for a second time and we again stayed at the Natya Hotel. As expected, we had a great time. Many thanks to Ferlina at the front desk for helping us schedule taxi rides. (Tanah Lot tries to block Grab, but the local taxis are predatory).
