This was THE BEST Indian food I've had in a very long time (if ever!)
Every single dish was spot on, literally wanted to lick the plate clean.
Service was fast and mostly attentive (despite it being packed due to the holiday).
The atmosphere is lovely, but if they don't have a table available, the food is so good that I would recommend you to get take out!
Best Indian in Dublin! Everything is so so delicious and the staff are great
Lovely, small, cosy Indian restaurant serving delicious food! Really enjoyed our dinner here and can’t wait to be back! Chicken Chetinad was really tasty 👌

Cute little cafe on Montague Street serving fabulous toasties and breakfast options. Their cappuccino is great too along with a huge array of other kinds of drinks. Service was prompt and efficient and the atmosphere was laid back and chill. We will definitely call again.

Some of the best Toasties you'll get in Dublin, great coffee too
Perfect portion and perfect lamb bhuna Arrived on time as well.I enjoyed. Thanks
Hidden Indian gem in Dublin.

They have a very beautiful ambience and setting . The place offers limited seating so you are better off reserving beforehand.

This place is not price heavy at all and their portions are also fairly generous. The portion quantities are created as such so that you have a wider range of items to taste from without leaving you too full or too hungry.

Special recommendations:
Starter: Fish Tikki
Main course: Jackfruit Butter Masala
Dessert: Gulab jamun
Always great for every occasion 😀👍
I had a wonderful experience here and great tasty food. The staff was too polite and helpful, too good!!!

As a person who always prefers a brunch catch-up with friends, I must say, this spot was truly a gem! We tried their spicy cajun toast and pesto chicken toast, which were both cheesy and yummy at the time. We also tried their hot chocolate and chai latte. Was a little disappointed with the chai latte, as it was super sweet and inspite of ordering a large, got it in a regular mug. Wouldn't recommend the chai latte. The ambience was amazing, as it wasnt too busy when we went in around 1 30pm, and did not have a reservation too. Budget friendly as well 😉

Walk in, order at the counter, you're given a number, go grab a seat and wait to be served. Seats are available upstairs too. My Cajun toastie came piping hot and well melted. Loved it, it wasn't too spicy and their juices are also quite healthy (though the green one is a bit apple sweet). There's plenty of food in one toastie to fill your stomach and I preferred it to Griolladh. I would improve cleaning standards and I'll serve or place napkins on tables, eating those toasties is a dirty business. Came back with a friend and you can now find napkins on all tables! That's what I call putting words into action, thank you!!

Nice restaurant with Irish breakfast and dishes in the city center. The food was fine but staff was super friendly and accommodating with us and our toddler. They have high chairs, kids menu and color pencils, but not sure if they have changing room. The first floor is definitely quieter than the ground floor.

I heard great things about this place and their gluten free options. I ordered the regular Irish breakfast.

The egg was cold and so were the beans, so I couldn’t eat them. There was a lot of fat on the bacon. The staff were lovely, very polite and friendly.

Toasties and coffee are so delicious and the decoration is amazing (the toilet walls are super cool haha) Definitely an instagrammable place to go for a perfect brunch. I can easily see myself going each week and trying the whole menu 😋🤤
Great little find. We had an early morning flight into Dublin and not many places were open for breakfast on Saturday morning.
We came across this place. Lovely service, good value for money, food was really tasty. Definitely recommend!
excellent service!
I loved the lamb curry!
The chicken tikka wrap is a delicious option for breakfast!
Mango salsa is my favorite.

Lovely food. Soup was nice, soft and with a fresh aftertaste thanks to the Basil. The chicken burrito superb, very cheesy loaded, it did not disappoint. And the Cajun chicken toast, simply delicious, the sauce is just amazing if you like spicy.

I stopped by Melt Down in the morning, grabbed a toastie and coffee, and it turned out to be a tasty breakfast! They offer a diverse menu, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and an overall nice atmosphere. Will definitely come again!
Was a good customer here up until today until i realised they have wacked up their prices..Used to get the 2 person meal deal which was €42.95 which is now €49.95...All there dishes prices gone up €1.50 on average..Food is nice but they have completely outpriced themselves unfortunatley..wont be back..I hope they can look at their pricing again its such a shame

I ADORE Taste Food Company! One of my top lunch spots in dublin, and one I can consistently rely on! I've come here so many times, and the food is always outstanding. I've had the Caeser salad, loaded fries, falafel salad, and chicken salad. All extremely tasty! Really recommend

Bit of a wait on the weekend but that's to be expected.

Staff was very nice (and took allergies seriously) and the food was very tasty, but I was surprised with the disparity of prices on their website vs in person. Hash browns online are 12.50 including bacon, and in person they were 13.50 plus 2.90 for bacon. Please update the website!

The brunch was amazing, I always wanted to the try the oats breakfast with berries and nuts. Didn’t realise it would be too filling before ordering eggs too.
The place was almost full and I was lucky to have gotten a seat, so I recommend making reservations beforehand.

An excellent place for breakfast for Breakfast and brunch. The staff were very friendly and the place is fully packed. People sometimes wait in line for the food. We had the "Egg & Greens" and Buttermilk pancakes. It was delicious and we recommend the Matcha Latte too.

After a 15 min walk, we ended up here at the Taste Food Company. There stood a queue after us in front of the door and I totally understand why now.

We had a tremendous Irish breakfast and we received great service from Eduardo. All our meals were great and the food was served very quickly!

Definitely a recommendation in Dublin!

Small buzzy cafe, great for a weekend brunch. Really unique menu for Dublin that’s not a cut and paste of every other spot and that’s executed well. The hash brownies are legendary would definitely recommend them, scrambled eggs - perfect. Excellent coffee. My usual gripe applies of not being able to book a table, so if you go at the weekend expect a 20+ minute wait with a coffee in hand (acceptable for the quality of the food).
Have ordered from here so many times and it’s just getting worse and worse. Ordered tonight through their website rather than Deliveroo because we thought it was better for them not to have to pay Deliveroo. Well. It’s been almost 2 hours and we can’t reach anyone. We’ve called 10 times and no one ever answers. So disappointing.

Eduardo our Waitress was the best, give him a promotion!! We came in during lunchtime to the taste food company, and we were greeted by a host who took us to the top floor to get seated. Here is very spacious and very comfortable, and I love the atmosphere. We were greeted by a kind waiter Eduardo who gave us recommendations on what to eat, and we all loved all the food and drinks that we received it was very delicious. There is actually a one minute parking nearby and it was very convenient for us and I would definitely come back here again to get breakfast!

We went for brunch on a Monday afternoon. Our server was Edwardo and he was very kind and attentive. Our food was amazing, very tasty and the presentation was on point. our caffeinated beverages were also on point. We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. We will definitely return when we're in the area.

Charming Cafe with Room for Improvement

My visit to sample the highly recommended pancakes was met with anticipation, perhaps too high of one. While the pancakes were delicious, they didn't quite achieve the level of brilliance I had hoped for. The berry sauce topping, while flavorful, erred on the sweeter side. I must say, though, the cream was exquisite, but I wished there had been a tad more of it.

As a devoted connoisseur of pancakes and French toast, I hold every dining experience to high standards, and these expectations can be demanding.

On a positive note, the coffee here was rich and satisfying. The service from the staff was a shining star; they were unfailingly courteous and attentive, even when the place was bustling with people.

One small downside is the cafe's size. They do offer outdoor seating with umbrellas, but Dublin's unpredictable weather means it's often off-limits due to rain and wind.

This cafe is a cozy spot with potential for even more greatness. The pancakes are good, and a slight tweak to the berry sauce's sweetness, bigger size and a tad more cream would make them superb. Paired with great coffee and exceptional service, it's a place worth returning to, with hopes of witnessing it achieve its full potential.

We had a good experience with the service and the environment, despite being busy, it is organized. The flavor of the brunch was wonderful and the cake and pie that we took home were very tasty and fresh.

I took my mom here for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday while we visited London. The surroundings are simple, but I loved the atmosphere. There’s a great outdoor seating space which we couldn’t use because of the rain, but it was so beautiful to walk through. I tried the roasted vegetable sandwich, which was amazing. We shared a cake plate, and a pot of tea. Everything was so delicious!! On top of that, our waitress really went above and beyond and gave us incredible service the entire time we were there. Highly recommend if you have a chance to go!

Overall a great experience, the food was very tasty and the location is awesome. We had a great afternoon in the sun, away from the busy city life.
The only downside however, was the service. The girl taking care of us did not see the work nor did she have any sense of urgency; we had to ask to bring menu's after 20 minutes, empty plates were not collected, did not come by to take up second orders,... She didn't look like she wanted to be there. Anyone can have an off-day, but customers should not take this much notice.

We will recommend this place to anyone who asks, though!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Slice Restaurant in Dublin, and I must say, my visit left me thoroughly impressed. Despite a slight wait of around 25-30 minutes due to the Sunday crowd, the experience that followed was well worth it.

From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance and warmth of the restaurant were apparent. The staff were friendly and accommodating, helping to ease the wait time and setting the tone for a pleasant experience. Once seated, I was promptly handed the menu, and my eyes were drawn to the tantalizing array of options.

After careful consideration, I decided to indulge in a variety of dishes that caught my attention. The Brunch Hash Brownies intrigued me, and I couldn't resist the urge to try Naniji’s Achaar as well. To complete my meal, I ordered a cappuccino and the Buttermilk Pancake. As I awaited my order, the anticipation grew, and I couldn't help but notice the attention to detail in the restaurant's decor.

When the food arrived, I was taken aback by the impeccable presentation. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully arranged on the plate. The Brunch Hash Brownies were a delightful blend of flavors, and Naniji’s Achaar added a tangy twist that was truly unique. The cappuccino was expertly crafted, providing a perfect balance of bold coffee flavor and velvety milk.

However, the star of the show had to be the Buttermilk Pancake. It was a culinary masterpiece, fluffy and golden-brown, topped with a generous drizzle of syrup. Each bite was a harmonious blend of sweetness and texture, leaving me craving for more.

The overall experience at Slice Restaurant was nothing short of satisfying. The wait, though initially daunting, was rewarded with a meal that exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail in both the food presentation and the restaurant's ambiance showcased the dedication of the staff to provide a memorable dining experience.

In conclusion, my visit to Slice Restaurant was a delightful journey for the senses. The delectable food, warm ambiance, and attentive staff combined to create an experience that left me content and eager to return. If you're looking for a place that offers both a feast for the palate and a feast for the eyes, Slice Restaurant in Dublin is undoubtedly worth a visit.

Best breakfast place I've visited in Dublin! The food was so delicious and arrived pretty quickly!Make sure to come in time, cause this place was stacked when we arrived. Your name gets put on a waiting list and whenever a table is free you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere and lovely food. 10/10 would go there again :)
First, the name of the restaurant “Konkan” is quite misleading. They do regular Indian food, not specifically South Indian or Konkan by any means.

I guess they are going for a mid-range, fine dining, taster menu experience but I think their overall offering just ends up being confusing - an average restaurant with the decor of a fine dining experience, an average menu, average taste, average service, small portions, and high prices.

We ordered two appetisers, 3 mains, some naans, and pulao rice on the side. We were just about full between three and we are not big eaters. The ingredients used are not the highest quality and consequently the dishes are not very tasty.

Perhaps it would have been better to have a tasting menu but having tried a variety of dishes I don’t think it would have hit the spot either.

Their prices are comparable to the likes of Pickle but they lack the originality, service and taste.

We passed on this feedback to the owner but he dismissed it by saying that the dishes are meant to serve one. This explanation would’ve been better offered at the start rather than at the end.

Great café! The atmosphere is very welcoming, the staff are kind and very helpful, the only downside (and it's not that bad) is the wait, but coming at a busy time, it is completely underdtandable. The food is delicious and compensates more than enough for the wait!

Hard to find little breakfast cafe is worth hunting down!
Google maps will get you there but it’s down a quiet alley with one very small handmade sign on the gate.
The food here is fantastic! Also coffees and teas and baked goods including cakes and lemon bars. Oh man I’m getting hungry again writing this review!
We ate breakfast, then bought some baked treats to go. (The chocolate ganache cake didn’t make it to the end of the block)

Such a beautiful setting to wile away an afternoon with great food, delicious cake and fantastic staff.
One thing that really struck me is how happy all the staff seem, they're like a bunch of friends welcoming you into their tea party.
Gorgeous garden area and the bathroom is nicer than my entire apartment ;)

Really love this cafe. Beautiful set-up, location is gorgeous (like a green festival-like oasis in the middle of the city), with welcoming atmosphere (feminist ethos and LGBTQ friendly). However, I was disappointed by the Goat's Cheese & Mediterranean Vegetabe sandwich I got, especially for the price. The bread was cut too thick, meaning it was a very dry sandwich as the ratio of bread to filling was nearly 3:1! The goat's cheese was plopped in the middle of the sandwich, so that most bites were just veg. I got Mayo to make it less dry.

After being a waitress so many times over the years, I have a high but fair standard of what good service entails.
The server was perhaps new, and so inexperienced, but despite the restaurant being not that full, I had to go up and ask for a refill of water and it took them a long time to take my plate away when empty.

Would still highly recommend and perhaps other lunch foods are better. The cakes always look delicious!

Located behind a bookshop (you need to enter The Last Bookshop and go out the back door), it’s like entering a little oasis. Their carrot cake, chocolate and brownie are really good (the cake tester plate less so, so I wish there had been the option of choosing which 3 cakes you’d like to try).

Unfortunately the food has been inconsistent the past couple of times I’ve visited. The poached eggs were a disaster - it was as far from perfectly oozy as you can possibly get, with the yolk crumbling as if it had been boiled for a solid 10min. The neighbouring table was the same. We were treated graciously by the staff when we notified them at the end of our meal.

A simple timer for the eggs and checking in on tables would go a long way in fixing such issues.
Got the deal for 2 people: two starters (lamb kebab) and samosas plus two chicken mains, rice and naan. The quality was excellent - everything was so delicious and flavourful!! And for a very good price! Extra bonus for everything being piping hot even after collection, really liked that. Will be returning, thanks so much! 😊
Quiet and cozy ambience. Food was great, we ordered jackfruit sukka, chicken tikka, plain naan, coriander naan and paneer butter masala. Not that many restaurants have this much of vegetarian food. We HAVE to order a minimum of €20 per person and you gotta reserve a table, the way this information delivery by the manager was a bit harsh though. Could be more customer friendly.
I’ve been to Konkan a good few times and I think it’s one of the tastiest Indian restaurants in Dublin. I wish Google did half-star ratings because I reckon that Konkan is in between 4 and 5 ⭐️. Anyways… delicious food! 🤤 If you’re into Indian cuisine, definitely give this place a try. Lovely staff and it’s fairly close to the city centre as well. They have significantly upped their prices recently though, but I suppose many places have.
I have not been to Konkan in a long time. Maybe 6 or 7 years, maybe more. I remember it being ok but that's about it. I have seen the ranking and reviews which I found odd considering all the great indian restaurants in Dublin. My expectations were not high going to this place.

Fast forward to the end of the meal. All I can say is the hype is well founded. The meal was stunning, the staff were great and the atmosphere is good.

They were missing some items on the menu which I prefer I.e meat platter for 2. I was shocked it wasn't there but went with their veg platter for 1. Its was lovely.

The place is small but we'll worth a trip. I don't use these word too often but considering the location, it is a hidden gem.

Overall experience was great and I am looking forward to going back.

Great place to have a Sunday brunch
Delivery was very fast, the price was good, food tasted amazing and the packaging was nice.
Eco friendly packaging.
I should say I tried out several delivery’s during my short stays in Dublin in December and May. So far Tadka House has been Number one. I have ordered almost everyday from here for the past 10 days. There is definitely a wide variety of choice they have. So I could find a different dish everyday. Also should mention their delivery is very fast, and the staff is great!
