Rooms are very clean and something hard to find in guruvayoor, helpful staff. Washing sink is out side bathroom, this was unexpected.

Temple is little away, but since stay is good, little walk can be compromised.

Very much disappointing service. Ordered x17 special Onam sadhya. Total waste of money. They also billed for x20 and had a good verbatim. However, we request everyone to look for better restaurants. The rooms were nice, breakfast is good, welcome staff at the entrance were good, but the service and the basic needs were missing. The rooms didn’t have hot water, the management says lukewarm water is hot water. The manager understood the issue kept assuring me that it will be resolved we waited for 2 nights and had to cancel the rest of the nights and leave. Issue resolution is very bad at this hotel.

I visited Devaragam restaurant with high hopes due to its reputation for a pleasant ambiance and delectable meals. However, my experience turned out to be incredibly disappointing, to say the least.

Unfortunately, the special meals I had was far from satisfactory. The food was prepared by someone who has no idea about South Indian meals. Not even a single curry was up to the mark and I doubt they mixed water into Sambar as salt was not added even in a minimum quantity. The quality of the food was substandard, and the taste was utterly disappointing. It seemed like the dishes were prepared without much care or attention to detail. The flavors were bland, lacking the authenticity that one would expect from a restaurant that boasts such a reputation. It's disheartening to witness a restaurant fall so short of its own acclaim.

Equally dismaying was the level of service provided. The staff seemed indifferent and uninterested in catering to the needs. From slow service to a lack of attentiveness, the overall service left much to be desired.

I believe in giving credit where it's due, but my experience at Devaragam has left me utterly disappointed. It's unfortunate to witness a restaurant with so much potential deliver such a lackluster experience. The feedback was shared with the staff and the Manager. I hope that the management takes this feedback constructively and endeavors to bring about the necessary improvements.

I would strongly advise potential visitors to reconsider their choice before visiting Devaragam restaurant. There are undoubtedly better dining options available that prioritize both quality food and exceptional service. Conclusion: Great ambience with substandard food. Avoid meals and special meals.

The staffs are rude and arrogant, and they don't make you feel welcome at all. In my case, I booked a deluxe double room with half board for 2 nights, and I paid additional charges for this food for each number of guests. This cost was high compared to the room without food options, but they still think they serve free meals. Especially the restaurant manager and his team ; as soon as we asked for thali meals at 1 pm they said we had to pre-order it and also did not provide the two dishes we had ordered, and at the end, acted like it was a mistake, so pathetic🤭. In our opinion, it was a bad idea to book a meal-inclusive room at this hotel. It has never happened before in other hotels..We decided not to return to this place since there are plenty of other better options nearby.

Ambience of the hotel is good, and the rooms are spacious too and well maintained. Food was good, and surprisingly was very reasonably priced, similar to any regular restaurant and not a hotel. Only reason for the 4 Star review is the power cut management. They did not have an online generator, and power cuts resulted in 30 sec to a min of darkness everytime. Also, showers were not having pressure motors, or having very low pressure.

501 is arguably the worst room to stay.
Cons:
There is AC leak in the room despite switching off the air conditioning control switches.
Smoke smell is coming inside the room at times.
Useless switches that controls the air conditioning except on off. Temp change control switches don't even work. It's there for namesake.
Overall air conditioning unit is screwed up.
The room is too cold despite switching off the air conditioning due to leak. If you don't believe me go there for few hours and sit.

Devaragam is one of my favorite restaurants in Guruvayoor. The food is tasty, and the ambiance and service are great too. They serve the best North Indian cuisines for dinner in Guruvayoor. I recommend checking with the staff before you order, especially with the guy with the long mustache

I'm from South Africa and stayed here for 3 weeks with my family. I must say the rooms are above standard for the price that you pay and the service from the staff has been exceptional, food was great with lots of variety from local cuisine to a more international standard (love the bacon), would recommend this Hotel for families.

On entering Hotel Devaragam in Guruvayoor, one is immediately taken by the spaciousness of the venue and the tranquillity it radiates - a retreat from the bustle of the outer world. The hotel boasts an excellent ambiance that seamlessly blends tradition with modernity, creating a comfortable and pleasing atmosphere.

My visit, however, was purely gastronomic. Regrettably, the culinary experience was not as harmonious as the environment. Both breakfast and lunch were subpar, falling short of the flavorful extravaganza one would expect in such a setting. The chutney, which traditionally brings a delightful tang to breakfast, was rather mediocre. The lunch, specifically the fried rice, seemed a bit stale. Whether it was the rice or the oil used, the freshness expected of the dish was sorely lacking.

Despite this, Hotel Devaragam shone brightly in the realm of service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to cater to our needs. One of the biggest in area, main road touch location and finest place for celebrating your any types of functions or get to gether. Big lush green lawn area for 1200 to 1500 pax, enough space for parking and other related facilities available on good rates. Space for kitchen, washroom area, rooms for groom & bride. I actually visited an Expo event there. It was a wonderful experience to visit this place. I actually visited so many hotels but ideally "This is the only One"which I like the most. Rooms, corridors, dining area, buffet area, cafe etc (in short) everything is super luxury... I'm admiring this place but one thing should be noted that..... It's a super luxury Hotel but less affordable..(Maybe 5 times to the normal hotel). I am very very happy, 🥰🥰🥰

I stayed this in Hotel Bawa International last week 15-JUN. It was the one of luxurious Hotel I stayed in my life time.
The lobby had a feeling of an upscale but cozy countryside home, with satin sofas, velvet armchairs,
gold colour floral wall-paper on the walls and a large crystal chandelier right in the middle giving soft warm light.

Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most.

A day stay with my family. A very memorable stay. The room is spacious with all amenities like a refrigerator, oven, electric kettle and kitchen cabinet. I really liked the ambience and hospitality of the people. The pool on the terrace is very well maintained and the gym is fully equipped. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The bar has exotic drinks. The most memorable was my birthday cake prepared by an in-house chef and my 11 month old son relished the taste of it

Felt shortage in Staff’s from the entry itself. Or May be the guest are too much for the team to handle.
My luggage was collected by a staff and told it will be taken care of. The reception counter had only two staffs and they looked too busy attending all queries from the guests. Though I was given an early check in, the workload might have made them to give a pretty cold welcome. They couldn’t find my luggage and finally I found it racked up with some other guests baggage’s. Thank god.

Party plot is ok but the main issue is parking. It's a very busy area with lots of traffic and you don't have space to park your four wheel. Use your two wheeler or cab at this place.
