The Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysore is an absolute must-visit! Perched atop the Chamundi Hills, the temple offers stunning panoramic views of Mysore city. The temple itself is a beautiful example of Dravidian architecture, with intricate carvings and a rich spiritual atmosphere. The peaceful surroundings and cool breeze make the climb worthwhile. The energy inside the temple is truly divine, and the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari is awe-inspiring. It’s best to visit early in the morning to avoid crowds and enjoy the serenity. A sacred and memorable experience!
This temple is located at the top of chamundi hills and the temple is very beautiful. You can take 100 rupee special darshan or can go without any charge as well. Although the temple is little crowded but you get a good view of Goddess. It is around 10km from mysore city.

The temple is near the Mysore palace gate, God is visible to outside devotees. Opposite to this temple a iconic big clock tower is situated.

Very nice place to chill out with family here there are three temples one is dedicated to Ganesh, Anjaneya, Rama laxmana, sit a, Chandramouleshwara,Navagraha
This temple has been built close to the northern gate of the palace. It is learned that the statue of Lord Anjaneya was obtained in Belagole. There is a `Garuda gamba ` of 40` height in front of the temple. It is illuminated on the top. The idol is very beautiful. Most of the people of the city visit this temple from dawn to dusk to offer prayer and sevas. Kote Anjaneya Swamy has its share of Muslim devotees too as the divine being is believed to cure diseases by tying the thaitha. On Amavasya a special pooja is performed and the thaithas /talisman to be given to the devotees are charged by chanting powerful mantras.

Park Ur vehicle near Central library &walk 5 minutes towards kt street. This is the oldest temple in Mysore. Very rare such temples across India, Kaal Bhairav is the soul taking god from body. The people who suffering from old age long standing diseases pray for early safe removal of soul!! Some pray to stop serial deaths in families!! The place to worship and blessed. 9am to 9pm visiting hours.

it is on the way to krs dam or brindhavan garden. Nearby little lake kind of falls is there called balmuri falls. We enjoyed a lot. Even kids to older people can take bath there. Fish is available but taste is just ok. You can pack your lunch and spend a day there. Evening you can go to krs which is very near by. Very good picnic spot.

Sri Kalabhairaveshwara is the Kshetra Palaka of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math. Lord Gangadhareshwara is the presiding deity. The Pancha Lingas, the Jwala Peetha, Sthambamba are all held in great reverence by the devotees. The peak point of the Giri (hillock) is known as Akasha Bhairava and the sacred pond by the temple is Bindu Sarovara. Two lakes have been built for the Theppothsava programmes. The old Bindu Sarovara was also renovated as per agama tradition.
