Really friendly staff.... foods was amazing tasty .... buffet is totally worthy for that prices....
We had an amazing hospitality here. Owner is sooo kind. This is my first time and I asked him about their system. He explained everything lovely and told me we can have meals as much we want to eat just don't waste foods. Good attitude. They have lovely dinning area with green plants and lights. They have lot of varieties with curry and meats. Foods are so colourfull, tasty and healthy. It reminds my home actually.

Boycott this place. Avoid this place where they rob foreigners. They will charge you 4X times the normal price if they notice you that a foreigner. And they will miss treat you if you don't agree to their prices. Better avoid these kind of places.

Hey everyone, just wanted to give you a heads up about this place. I wouldn't recommend it. The owner doesn't seem trustworthy, kind of gave me scam vibes. Better to steer clear and check out other spots.
Avoid this place especially not safe for tourists, wen country depends on tourism it is not good to treat or cheat guests in this way.

Always love taking visitors to CCC. The food is beautifully presented and tasty. Service has certainly improved from a year ago. Do make a booking for dinner and be aware that some dishes might be sold out.
The restaurant is tucked away in a little square with other eateries. The staff were very welcoming (we had booked ahead and would recommend to do so). The restaurant was very busy but service was excellent and we didnt wait for anything. The menu comes on a tablet to choose your meal. I couldve picked anything on there as it all looked and sounded delicious. We ordered the devilled chicken, hot butter calamari and a tempered mixed seafood starter. The food came out and it was displayed beautifully. For our mains we had a beef curry, river king prawn and they made a non spicy dish for my younger son. It was served with rice and pol roti. I have to say it was one of the best meals we had in Colombo. If your there for just a day/night I'd highly recommend here. The staff were so helpful and even got us a Tuk Tuk for the journey home.

Loved it. Just popped in for a snack but ended up having an 'executive ' lunch and a green salad. Huge portions and very reasonably priced. Lovely cool setting - or go out on the balcony if you dare - nice friendly service. Go upstairs from the bakery. I would recommend the dishes we had for sure and will definitely come back here next time im in kandy
What a find this place is! I loved everything about it, service, food, ambience all outstanding. If you know and love authentic SL food you will also love this place, they pull no punches with flavouring & spices, just as it should be. Oh btw, my parents were born in SL and I have spent a lifetime eating SL food prepared by aunties & old school cooks, so I know, ya know ;-)

Visited this place after a recommendation by a friend and I must say, it didn't dissapoint. Their most famous dish is the rice and curry lunch with crab curry. Other meat and seafood options such as chicken and cuttlefish are also available. The food is served fresh and hot on banana leaf which adds to the flavour of the food. One portion of meat or fish is enough for two people (unless you are a heavy eater). This is a good place to have lunch if you are ever in Pettah. However, it can be a bit tricky to locate so be sure to follow Google maps.

Sandwiches, wraps and burgers are already made and displayed in refrigerator which made my chicken burger extremely tough and dry, I could barely eat any chicken. The general taste was super spicy which the staff should inform me when I ordered; so food is a total disappointment.

I ordered All mixed rice and it sucks. It full of onion leaves and pork was felt expired. No good flavour on the rice. Just literal boiled rice. No salt flavour as well. I never recommend this and my experience is awkward
You do not want to miss this if you’re in Colombo, great food, service and atmosphere. The food is authentic with a modern flair and in keeping with Sri Lanka tradition the service is warm friendly and extremely attentive. The Hoppers are a must try and the devilled chicken starter was my favourite dish. There is far too much creativity on their menu to list in this review, but rest assured you will not be disappointed. Anura was a great host and ensured we were well taken care of, he is well supported by his team. Drinking premium spirits here does not break the bank which is an added bonus. We were even surprised with a buffalo curd dessert a great finishing touch to our evening. Cannot recommend enough to anyone in Colombo local or tourist!

You should absolutely try this restaurant if you want to eat delicious Sri Lankan food! Although their prices are above Sri Lankan standards, these are the normal prices in this area of Colombo and many restaurants offer less for more. Also, unlike other restaurants, their prices are all inclusive (many restaurants in the area add 25% extra for taxes and 10% extra for the service in the final bill). Staff are super friendly and the food is simply DELICIOUS. We ordered hoppers and they were by far the best ones we ate in Sri Lanka (they even cooked them in front of us!). We highly recommend this restaurant!!👍🏻
I had my Wedding Ceremony yesterday at Hillten Banquet Hall in Colombo 08. Halls were really beautiful with grandiose chandeliers,blinking lights and courteous attention of the Manager Lady. There were about 600 guusts. We are happy and really satisfied. The money we spent was really worth.

Loved their food. Just dropped in as I was in a mood for some hoppers. Had Thalapath Fish curry with egg hoppers. Tasty, wholesome and surprisingly was suffient for me alone. Found some sweetness in their hoppers, which is why it tastes good. As you know anything with a lottle sweetness would be loved by any Sri Lankan and suits foreigners too. Would recommend this place to everyone. Considering the recent escalation in costs, I would say their pricing is ok. I paid Rs.3,400 including service charge and taxes.

This is among the finest restaurants in Kandy, and personally, it's one of my favorites. The food is incredibly delicious, especially the kottu, which is the best I've ever had. The prices are quite reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area.

We were here on 31st december, had a tempting seafood dinner. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to address our queries and recommended a few dishes wish could suite our palate. The seafood curries and the hoppers were too delicious. The taste and the experience was worth it and not too expensive as well. Highly recommended

If you are looking for authentic Sri Lankan food, you have come to the best place in town. Palmyrah restaurant at the Renuka City Hotel has a diverse menu, that covers all the major bases of unique Sri Lankan favorites. There are string hoppers, hoppers, rice & curry, Thosai, Kothu and Pittu. There is a superb selection of rice, curries, sambols and of course appetizers. In addition, there are mouthwatering desserts. I had the plain samba rice with crab meat curry, tempered ladies fingers (okra) with pol sambol. It was divine. My only suggestion is that the crab curry should be made with lump crab. To have small shredded pieces that are buried and overwhelmed by the thick gravy, destroys the experience. Therefore, what is lacking is texture and bite to truly savor this dish. Before anything came out, the house serves rassam in a Turkish coffee cup with pappadum. This combination is dynamite. The rassam is thick with a mix of strong flavors that really hit the spot. My complaint about the atmosphere is that it was very chilly where I was sitting (and cooling the food). I made numerous attempts to address the problem with the server and then with the manager. They toned down or even shut the air conditioner to only turn it back on. This on off cycle repeated many times during my lunch. The dining room filled up pretty soon. Judging from the crowd, service was fantastic. I will be tasting many more dishes and will post pictures as I go along.
We are staying in the hotel, we had already had the crepes for breakfast and a club sandwich twice while staying here at the pool, unfortunately we only came to the restaurant on our last night. Fabulous food full of flavour, would loved to have tried more food here. They gave us a free sample of Rasam, it was lovely with some chips. Forgot to take pictures of the main course. The sparkling wine was just a little too sweet. The staff were lovely

I recently dined at Palmyrah restaurant and wanted to share my feedback regarding my experience. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the crab curry I ordered. It seemed more like crab soup, with tiny minced crab pieces, and the taste left much to be desired. Nothing even close to the great Jaffna crab curry taste.
Additionally, I found it disheartening that the waiter discouraged me from choosing the curry with real crabs. This not only impacted my meal but also raised concerns about the service quality. As a patron, I believe it's essential to communicate when expectations fall short. Do not recommend this restaurant.

We ordered a variety of side dishes and sambols, along with string hoppers, coconut hoppers, beef poriyal, and the odiyal kool. We were brought the pal rasam and papadum as free sides.
Everything was so tasty, and fresh, the service was so friendly and fast, and the vibe was cosy, family friendly, and everyone in the room was clearly having a lovely leisurely meal.
I could not recommend this place more, and will definitely return if given the chance.

Super local place! If you want to experience local cuisinne, you should definitely visit and try the food. Super delicious curry! One of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Cheep too.

Wow, food is amazing! The best place to get rice and curry with moderate budget around colombo city limits. They have various options from breakfast to dinner. There’s a issue when ordering through pickme. I experienced wrong order dispatching issue several time. Apart from that all are ok. Keep it up.
Loved the milk tea here and the chats with the staff. The Kottu is famous here too, the sound of preparing it very authentically rang through the whole restaurant when ordered 😃

I paid 1700lkr for a large portion of black pork curry, potato, 2 paratha and rice with a drink. Food was great quality and the black pork was tasty with clove and curry leaf. Loved it and value for money given the portion.

Good food bit really really slow service. Place was vintage but could do with better mantainace. The fish and chips were very good. The curry was also good. As was the fried rice. By Kandy standards food was very good.

Best restaurant in Anuradhapura. We arrived without knowing anything about this place and it was the best surprise. You have a lot of choices and the staff is very friendly. We took several sides and payed around 500 roupies per person. Add to that, staff give us free soup. Highly recommended.
We visited this charming restaurant for dinner. Upon arrival, we were delighted to discover that they offer complementary papadam and a delicious soup (rasam)☕️ . The menu boasted a wide array of food options, but I highly recommend trying their Fish 🐟 Pittu with eggplant 🍆 curry. The desserts were equally impressive, with standout choices like tiramisu and chocolate brownies. While the mutton dish was on the pricier side, it didn't quite live up to my expectations in terms of uniqueness or flavor. However, the service was exceptionally prompt, and an added bonus was the convenient parking available in the Hotel Renuka's park area.

When you are in Sri Lanka for over 5 days and are craving authentic local food and you are taken to a place that has Chinese dishes on the menu, it has to be disappointing. The side dishes is the reason I am giving it 3 stars.

Awesome place serves tasty food with nice array of menus in authentic, Chinese & Western, to get yourself served from a buffet with wide range of dishes and also set-menus. Very friendly.Good parking space along the road

This is the best place to find street foods in Colombo. Unique kind of experience when it comes to street foods during the night here. Crowded during peak hours. Difficult to find parking spaces. Lot of options for foods. Budget friendly(Price little bit high BCS country situation)

The most authentic Sri Lankan food experience you'd ever get in Colombo. The small joint is located in a busy, picturesque market area, right at the heart of Pettah historical district. The staff is—how to say—lovely. Recommended by Thuurya for breakfast outside the hotel! It was truly amazing and the prices are very reasonable as well. Food tasted good and also the place is clean.

Good place to have a meal for a change. Clean and nice to have food on a banana leaf. Nothing special to mentioned about the taste as i found it average. Cost wise i think it's way too high for a everyday meal. They do serve unlimited rice. For this plate(cuttlefish) the price was Rs.950 - June 2022

Highly recommended place. You can buy good looking taste koththu for normal price. Dining and take away available. Good customer service. Environment is also good. I tried koththu from all the places around kalutara nagoda to waskaduwa. This place is the best.

I've been there when I was heading towards kandy from colombo. Dropped in at the restaurant for a lunch and food was really tasty and service was upto the standard. Really appreciate the hygienic measurements they follow and adhere. No hesitation in recommending anyone visits kandy for here to come for meals

Visited for breakfast back in 2013. Good food at affordable pricing. plenty of options for both vegetarian and meaty lowers. Good for family visit and any other sorts. Set menu and pricing for both local & foreign visitors. Friendly staff. would recommend.
It is a great place for Sri Lankan north food. Excellent taste. Spices are to the point. Service is also really good. They are famous for crab Curry but you will like their prawns, mutton and etc as well. Price is average range. But definitely you will love their food
Good wholesome looking & tasting food. price reasonable. friendly staff. started weekend trip off with some food at this little hole in the wall place. held up well. banana leaf is always preferred to plates of which the cleanliness remains in question.
