Shameful. A long history of pastry in this establishment I visited countless times, has now gone down the drain. The "bola de berlim" was filled with a sugary witish cream which tasted industrial and left a bitter aftertaste. The "croquete" is now just marginally larger than my middle finger and I honestly finished it in two bites (tasted, again, industrial and less than fresh). Drinks, coffees and chocolate milks became grossly overpriced. Clearly cutting costs all over the place. At this time, avoid at all costs.
Pastéis de bacalhau com arroz de feijão, que o cozido já acabou, apesar de continuar anunciado lá fora. Mas...não há bacalhau? Não tem nada que saber, pastéis de batata até sabem a bacalhau. E para o arroz, branco, é só juntar feijao.
Um lugar descuidado, que tem muita gente a esforcar-se para as horas passarem. Uma viagem á casa de banho com passagem pelos arredores também revela muito. Bom para entrar, tomar um café e ir embora.

Went to another location and it was also great. It seems they only sell in menu’s and not seperate items but… might be wrong.

I very agree with the someone figured of service attitude. For a dessert coffee shop, a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service are more important. The coffee and the chocolate cake tastes just ok. It’s a good place to have a rest,but not good enough for desserts and coffee.

I enjoyed my experience at this cafe throughout my stay here in Lisboa. Their cappuccino is delicious sweet balanced and croquette de carne was delicious
A great cafe with an amazing array of dessert and other food choices. Fantastic location and there is plenty of seating most of the time. The pastel de nata was excellent as was the pistachio cake. Highly recommended.
They don’t accept cards though have small printed announcements on the walls. Luckily we had some cash. 2 double espresso and 2 cold pastel de Nata = 8eur. The order was made on a cash desk.
Good view but it’s so stressful to realise that you might have not enough cash to pay at the end so I recommend to sit at another place.
Please make big announcement and tell your customers about this specific, as I really can’t believe that in XXI century any cafeteria doesn’t accept cards.

A francesinha é bastante grande e acompanha batatas fritas porém o molho poderia ser menos salgado, mas em todo caso é boa. O local é barato: no total, francesinha, sandes de panado e 2 sumos de laranja (frescos) saiu por €16. Bom atendimento.
For a quick breakfast is a good option! I already dine in and took away! Fresh food and good organic coffee. I love the “pão de Deus”.
No trip to Lisbon is truly complete without savoring their famous pastéis de nata – a Portuguese custard tarts with sweet egg cream in flaky pastry. We tried them at Padaria, conveniently close to O Trevo. These tarts are a common find all around Lisbon. It was creamy and sweet inside, perfectly flaky outside.
Fui mal tratado pela funcionária, alta, mulata, por eu não aceitar uma nota rasgada, eu disse: "a senhora nao fala assim comigo! ela continuava com uma arrogância sem precedentes, lá deram uma nota sem estar rasgada, o empregado mais novo, em tom ameaçador " vá, vá mas é embora, saia, saia" pedi o livro de reclamações nao mo deram, tive que chamar a polícia, para me darem o livro de reclamações, todos os empregados são uns mal encarados, deveriam todos ir para um curso de hotelaria como lidar com simpatia/empatia para com os clientes, até uma cliente tipo bairro da lata me ameaçou, " se fosse um homem me dava uns estaladões" pôs-se, com a rabo no ar virado para mim!! nunca na vida vi uma coisa assim!
Inexpensive place. I got a cappuccino here. It wasn’t very strong, kind of milky but the pastry’s were yummy.
I placed an order for a 2kg brigadeiro cake. When I went to collect the cake, they had sold it. They came up with an improvised solution, which wasn't the best experience.
Incredible how in the middle of the 21st century you can only use cash. Why ? The food is not enough expensive to pay commission to the banks ? I had to go to ATM to pay the bill! Incredible!!

Definitely do not come here for savory food. The shrimp sandwich was dry and tired. The croquette de carne was lackluster- not crispy . The layered cake was the best part, but the bar was low. Not impressed.
Na verdade, não cheguei a comer no restaurante, mas tenho que elogiar pelo atendimento recebido. Infelizmente, eu que moro no Porto, fiz uma encomenda de take away por telefone ao suposto "Flatia Doce". Entretanto, confundi ao digitar no Google e o número que me apareceu foi o do "fatia doce". Só percebi a confusão, quando fui buscar a comida no "Flatia Doce". Liguei prontamente a senhora e pedi desculpas. E peço novamente. Obrigada pela compreensão e espero um dia poder recompensa Los pessoalmente. Obrigada mesmo e mais uma vez, peço imensas desculpas por está confusão.

It was 11:30AM, the majority of the tables were empty, 5 waiters wafting around serving 1 or 2 tables, walked past our empty table more than once and did not even ask if we had ordered or if we wanted to order!
After waiting for 15 minutes without service we stood up and left!
You can not use a card for payment, only cash!
The only thing going for this specific coffee shop is the view of the ocean!

Didnt have a chance to do drinks as they were closed btt we reached. Would say its a space to enjoy magnificent views
A brilliant place to have breakfast. Food, coffee and service are all first class. Staff extremely helpful for none Spanish speaking tourists. 👍

The best thing about this place is the views. It’s such a shame as the service is so poor. Often wait over 15 minutes to be given a menu. Even when it’s quiet. It could be brilliant - would be great if someone could buy it over and give it a much needed injection of customer service, good wine and good food!

Nice bakery with good choice of dishes from sandwiches to salads and sweet pastries. Nice sitting area. Clean toilets.
Food and drink is expensive but you pay for the view. Recommend having drinks only and going to one of the other places a little towards the car parking area to eat.
The atmosphere is great and the food is okay but it's the 3rd time in a row where the service is a mess. Coffees were consistently served immediately, so they're cold by the time food arrives; the wrong dish was served; we had 5 uncoordinated waiters for the same table; had to wait +15mins, despite asking multiple waiters, to receive the change after paying...absolutely zero coordination.
El sitio con los mejores pasteles de toda Lisboa, situado en Benfica. Un lugar muy barato, tranquilo y los dueños son muy amables y atentos, sin duda cuando volvamos, lo visitaremos de nuevo. Muy recomendable.
Good food but not friendly to tourists. The lady that served me today made no effort to understand and added (in Portuguese of course): we are in Portugal and we speak Portuguese.

The salad overall was alright but the couscous was not fresh. They do not tidy up the tables in between customers and they do not separate plastic bottles and cans from the remaining waste. Recycle!
Very tasty croissants both regular and filled - coffee was just the job too! Make sure to take a ticket when you enter if you want to be served in a timely manner. Lots of seating available and toilets upstairs if needed. Bought a loaf of bread to take home as well - just the job!
Very yummy! Had croissant with ham and it was delicious! Also got some nice bread to take home. Would come back again!

Es sind keine Preise ausgeschildert , wir haben aus Spaß die Preise geschätzt meine Frau hat 10€ gesagt und ich hab 12-15€ gesagt. Wir waren dann bei 21 € . Vielen Dank dafür .

Got a coffee here after being disappointed with our last stop. It was pleasant and well-priced, not a tourist trap. Staff were friendly, with a mixed expertise in coffee and baked goods. I appreciated that they were open a bit later than some other coffee shops.
This place has has great atmosphere and fair prices. Went there to work for some hours and enjoyed of their attentive service and really fresh pasteis de nata. Location is also very convenient if you have to wait close by the main station.

In Portugal, in several Cafes, the same menu (coffee, orange juice, croissant) can be bought for almost half the price, and the products are of better quality (Padaria Portuguesa, Padaria do Bairro, Pingo Doce, Auchan, etc, all offer the same for < €3, while here we pay €5.5).
The survival of Sacolinha can only be justified by the lack of competition in the vicinity and by being in an area with a large influx of foreigners. The fact that it still does not accept card payments is surreal. The variety of pastries is good, it's a shame everything else isn't worth it.

Is it possible they make bread better than other Sacolinhas? I think it might be.... One of our favorite places for bakery. Would be better if they actually took credit cards.

Been twice now. Both times it was good. Both the savoury snacks and the cakes are tasty. The atmosphere is pleasant. The staff were alright on both occasions - didn't have any issues.
Good place for morning coffee with delicious pastries. Pastel de Nata, Bola de berlim and many other traditional Portuguese sweets you will find here.
But you need to know before going there that it isn't possible to pay with MC/Visa credit cards in this place. Only cash.

Iconic cafeteria in Lisbon. Ideal for tea, coffee, small cakes, "salgados", soft beverages. If you are a cake l9ver, I do recommend the 'indiano de chocolate'.
I know this place is so famous for breakfast and croissant and i get used to drink coffee everyday but I highly recommend to try their salads.

Awesome location (views are epic). Food is decent. Coffee is great. Service sometimes let's them down. Have to wait a long time to get served or even get the bill.

I like it. Still, the cake i ate, a Duchaise, loved it, was really very good. I had the pineapple one although the piece of pineapple on the top was canned. Probably a slice of s fresh one probably. Would dry very fast. The chamosa i had them better in other places i confess. The service was very efficient and nice. Parking easy.

É um restaurante muito bom não é muito caro os funcionários são muito simples e simpáticos e atenciosos e muito prestáveis a comida é muito saboroso e delicioso amo muito quando eu lá vou. E recomendo ir lá visitar e Espremente é muito delicioso.

Boa relação preço - qualidade, atendimento feminino com simpatia, as raparigas fazem malabarismos atras do minúsculo balcão e a cozinha nem se vê! A comida até agora não desiludiu e foi sempre agradável. O espaço interior é pequeno e suspeito que teriam mais negócio é lucro com uma área maior, a hora de almoço é concorrida. O serviço é eficaz e imediato, sem demoras ou esperas, e os pratos bastante acessíveis e abaixo de 5€ que é coisa rara.

Amazing place for breakfast. Huge range of beautiful and tasty pastries. Friendly helpful staff, good for families and children. Staff were great with the kids and the food was served quickly and everything tasted amazing. They also do mini versions of most of the pastries, these are boxed up and sold by weight and are great for a take away snack.

Tasteless pastry...should improve. Friendly staff. Croissant brioche sold with raw dough. Looked like a chewing gum. Unbelievable! Inedible. Made a complaint and they give another one also with raw dough.

This place is an icon of Benfica and Lisbon. The staff is professional and the food is exquisite. At christmas time, this is the place to get your King's Cake, but you must be prepared to stand in a queue.
Fast service with a pleasant environment and variety of choice
Coffe shop with reasonable prices and a good variety of pasteries and bread. The srrvice is really nice and effective. Great place to go for breakfast or have a chat with your friends.
Decent and cheap. Order the croissant set with orange juice and coffee at €2.50.

Good bagle and cafe latte with reasonable price... free baloon for kids are complimentary pleasure.. very kind staffs.
