A central cathedral with a rich royal history which is free to enter. Unwarranted hate on some sites for being boring. Easy access to old town and the old city walls from this location so don't miss it!
It’s a beautiful church. Pick up tickets to visit & get entrance to the catacombs at the shop.
Quite plain, actually, but an active church. Could not enter because of service hours. I liked that it's visible from the castle gardens and was a good part of the old town fortress like surroundings. Otherwise nothing special, in or outside.
While wandering around Bratislava, my wife and I also saw the cathedral, which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful. A statue of the great musician Franz Liszt "leans" on it and is almost overlooked.
Very nice cathedral. The staff helpful and friendly and helped me get a stamp. Beautiful during the day and during the night.
Well, it is not the most beautiful place of worship of ever, but it is still worth a visit, even just from the outside, as you will see it at least once during your visit in Bratislava as it is literally impossible not to remark it! The inner part is not all that interesting and be careful that everyday from 12 a.m. to 1 p.m. you cannot acces it due to missal services. It is free of charge anyway
St Martin Cathedral is the biggest and one of the oldest churches in Bratislava. As it can still be seen, it was part of the western fortifications walls of the old city. From 1563 to 1830 it served as the coronation church for the Kingdom of Hungary. Nearby there was a synagogue that was demolished in 1970 to make room for the Novy Most bridge.
St. Martin's Cathedral is a beautiful and historic church located in the heart of Bratislava, Slovakia. The cathedral is considered one of the most significant landmarks in the city, and it has played an important role in the history of Slovakia.

The cathedral's architecture is a beautiful blend of Gothic and Baroque styles, with the exterior being primarily Gothic and the interior featuring stunning Baroque decorations. The exterior of the cathedral is characterized by its high spire, which stands at over 85 meters tall and can be seen from all over the city.
