Benchakitti Park in Bangkok is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts seeking a break from the city's hustle and bustle. This picturesque park features a serene lake, providing a perfect setting for relaxation and fresh air. The park is surrounded with vibrant flowers and lush trees, offering a refreshing escape. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including cycling, jogging, and running along the pathways. A standout feature is the long, charming bridge, which becomes even more magical at night, ideal for photography and leisurely walks. Lovely park in Bangkok, definitely my favorite place in this city. The sunset view, the vibes, many people running or just chilling here. Really enjoy my first time here.

WORST CYCLING EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD!!! Security guards are stationed every 100 meters, shouting and blowing whistles if you try to cycle down a path that intuitively looks absolutely fine to cycle down (see photos). You can't even cycle around the lake!!!

In only about an hour, I encountered about six guards yelling at me. It’s very difficult to avoid putting a foot wrong! It feels like the guards are always watching you. The atmosphere around the park is intimidating and regimented, making you feel like you're under surveillance.

There's a green cycle route nearby which I believe links to Lumpini park, but it has high metal cage walls and security cameras everywhere, giving it a prison-like feel. There are also several steep staircases making it challenging to traverse, and once you're on this route, there's no way out except to retrace your steps.

I had seen raised pathways through vegetated areas on Google Maps that looked like great fun to cycle through (see photos), but they are all off-limits to cyclists. The only option for cyclists is to ride in long, monotonous straight lines around the entire park.

I am shocked also to discover having just read some other reviews on Google Maps that after 17:30 the few bike lanes that exist are closed completely!

Lovely park in the middle of hectic Bangkok. Very well taken care but needs many more big trees. Accessible from many different place. Great for walking, bicycling or exercise.

Superbe parc en plein cœur de Bangkok. Un vrai océan de verdure, agréablement bien aménagé et entretenu. J’ai adoré m’y balader lors des longues et chaudes journées Thaïlandaises. Un rendez-vous incontournable de la ville !

I may not be able to say the name yet properly, but I can tell you with certainty that this is a beautiful Park in a beautiful city. Biking and running trails along with great walking trails. A dog park that was clean. Lots of workers cleaning up from the night before trimming hedges and making a beautiful Park more beautiful.
Benchakitti Park is an amazing spot to relax and unwind. The park is beautiful, especially during sunset when the sky reflects off the lake. There's a great walking path that loops around the water, perfect for a stroll or jog. The atmosphere is peaceful and you can really feel a sense of calm here. There's also a lovely area with flowers that adds to the charm. Highly recommend spending some time here if you’re in Bangkok!
A bridge should be built, not just to cross, but a place where people can relax and enjoy the beauty of the city.
A really cool sight-seeing spot in Bangkok! A lil bit hard to find the entrance (I had to ask a local lol). Good architecture! You can see sunset and city lights upon here and just chill~~

Absolutely stunning park, unlike anything I've ever seen in my life. There are marshes at the bottom with pathways rising above them, abundant with lotuses, birds, fish, and dragonflies. There's also a fruit garden and a beautiful lake. This is my favorite park in the city!

Awesome spot. A must-see for everyone visiting Bangkok.

The Orange line has a boat stop just passed the bridge and you just cross over and walk up through the park.

You can't get onto this bridge from the riverfront sidewalk.

no one during the day as it's way too hot but a welcome addition for a place to chill with spectacular views over the river and the skyline.
4 stars since I have yet to see it in the evening. The park is a great idea and should be done elsewhere. The only issue is it's very hot and little to no shade, so only spend a short time visiting the park. Some trellis with vine plants to provide shade would be a great addition. Definitely going back in the evening if I have time.

Great park for walking leisurely. You could run here but some paths are paved with concrete blocks so they’re uneven. The newly renovated part is really nice, including the new bird watching tower that is finally open in Feb 2024. Its architecture looks awesome but is not suitable for people with acrophobia.

A nice break from the Chatuchak Market environment, we did an hour-long walk around the grounds. Take the warnings of monitor lizards seriously… they are there!
In the centre of city hub, this beautiful park has walking, jogging and cycling track. One can have a fresh morning walk or enjoy the sunset in the evening walk. There is a small lake where you can do paddling boat. The entry is free and there is a dog park inside as well. Enjoyed my walk at Queen Sirikit park
This place is a good and friendly design for everyone. People quite a lot in the evening but I think it's fine. Because the weather isn't too hot as afternoon. You can bring your child to play at the playground, have a picnic, jog, sleep, walk with your dog ( Pet allowed ), etc. If you want to eat, you can find some food around there . There are a lot of mosquitoes in some seasons.

I came across this place on a random walk and i was instantly obsessed with the location. It is diverse and extremely funky with all of its art and graffiti. If i talk about the artwork done on the walls, it is very eye catching and bright with all of its colours that splash and blend together.

The best part about this place is that it is completely FREE and it is open all the days of week. Theres no restrictions on taking photos around the area as tons of tourists come here all the time! The only thing i am surprised about is why it isnt very advertised.

I would recommend this place to anyone whos into art and loves taking pictures of themselves or just of the surroundings in general. I go to this place all the time and you should too!
This place is call “Chulalongkorn University Crntenary park”. I really love this park since it’s near many places. After coming to this park it’s easy to go to other places after that. The park is not that big but not too small since it is in the center of the city so this size of park is quite a good side. Many people came here to have a rest; sitting and enjoying the view, some bringing the book or other small activity to do. But there was also a group of people who came for a jog. People might think this place may not be a convenient place if we drive but this park has a big parking lot underground. The toilets in this park are very clean. There's also an Amazon cafe in this park. The surrounding of the park is green and fresh.
Cute little park on the Chulalongkorn university campus. Very quiet and chill. It’s not very big but a nice hangout for university students.

The park is connected to Banthat road. So there is plenty of food and coffee shops around.

There’s also a small open community mall in that park, where students sit and read or chill over coffee.
Lovely park for a stroll or some exercise, or also just to explore the different pathways. Just behind Chatuchak market if you want a break after looking at souvenirs. There is also a nice small coffee/drinks shop with aircon for a reprieve on hot days. Entry is free.
Kleiner, schöner und vor allem ruhiger Park um kurz dem Trubel der Großstadt zu entkommen. Mit einem Ice Coffee auf den Chao Phraya schauen und entspannen.

Well maintained with beautiful flowers of varied hues. Track is wide enough for jogging/walking
I'm just seeing the park from the station, and it was mesmerizing. Definitely will add this to my next itinerary when I go back!
Nice little park near the riverside in bangkok. Good place for morning and evening walks and nicely kept and maintained. Has a few good historical buildings in it

Great little park,
The kids had a blast (and some of the locals, too) cooling down in the sprinklers lol,
You can get fish and squirrel food upon entry to the park and they are voth so friendly, my kids loved feeding all the crazy fish that are in the lake, the cat fish are so friendly my kids even had a little Stroke!
Not too big, and not too small. A good place to start the evening by walking here and end the day finding sth to eat at บรรทัดทอง
I really love the atmosphere in this park. It’s beautiful and well maintained. Walk, run, relax, work, take photos and videos, there’s a space for all of that. Highly recommend.
Well design park for people near Bangkok Yai. Lots of people work out here.
The space is not that big for long run, however we can walk more round instead.
When it's night, the automatic lights can help. There's toilet inside the park as well.

A tiny park you can cover in 15 minutes.
I make it a daily routine to run at this park since it's conveniently close to my apartment. The ambiance is pleasant, and I appreciate the presence of restroom facilities and security in the area. Although it's not very large, it definitely serves its purpose well. They even provide some sets of weights for lifters, so it's definitely a go-to.
This place is amazing. So many places for selfies and photos. Beautiful location by day. Amazing lighting by night. Absolute must for any tourist wanting good pics.

Awesome park! I love the color of tree here. They also changing flowers depending on season. This place is big and variety of landscape. They even grow rice field here. I found a very old school Thai house in this place as well. There is a zone of big trees and water are surrounding this place. Sometimes I saw rainbow on the sprinkler that watering the plant.

Great spot to take a rest from craziness of Chatuchak market. The park location next to the famous market. There are many benches and beautiful grass floors for you to rest you butt. The sound is quite loud since it close to the big road but trust me it nearly bothers you. You will get distracted by plenty of cute squirrels. They are everywhere, many different colors clinging on tress. They usually has something on their hands and the mouth continuously moving and that’s so cute. You should discover the entire park, the deeper you go the more beautiful it displays. Plenty of you Instagramable spot for a cool pictures. People also joking here as well.
Nice place to hangout and take some good photos.

The garden is located behind Jatujak Park but it is not that easy to walk to as it does not have the accessible walk way to walk to. I still do not feel like it is nice to walk to the walk.

The plants here are well taken care which mean they are not really grow naturally. Cut and grow that never end.... mostly big trees are not growing much if compare to other garden in other countries.

My 4th time visiting this market and I still haven't go to the end of this huge market.
This time I discover a good meat ball store, should have buy more, it was so yummy.
Very beautiful and peaceful little park alongside the river. The pavilion was not accessible to go into. Seems like a nice place to relax or even take a nap on one of the benches in the shade like some of our local hosts were doing
A must-visit city park. Nice atmosphere park in the city where I can sit or even sleep here for many hours :)

Amazing view from the walk way, it’s a great place to see Bangkok and watch the boats go down the river. They have public bathrooms at the ends of the bridge and a little park at the nearest side to the flower market. There is also elevator access to the walk way for those who need it. There are no drones allowed though so make sure to leave those at home.

I went for a jog here on a weekday evening. It wasn’t crowded at all, you will find some locals going for a jog here after work.

I especially loved the night scenery. Lots of interesting landmarks for me to explore and take pictures of. I typically only enjoy going to parks in the evening due to the soaring mercury in Bangkok and the view here did not disappoint.

Toilets were okay. Not particularly clean but it’s of an acceptable standard.

The Santiphap Park is smaller than other parks in Bangkok but it is beautiful and accessible from my hotel accommodation. I like this park because every day I can take a 2-3km walk after waking up. It refreshes me because it is full of trees, shrub and grassy lawn, not to mention beautiful and color flowers.
Some great street art and nice shade from the trees. A small play park for kids. Has 2 pieces by Alex Face a prominent Bangkok street artists
Great view of the river and the bridge Rama VIII. It has different vibes at day and night. The staff work hard to keep this place nice and clean. The temple is not open for public access. At night there might be a venue for exhibitions in a cultural/ social event.

Very cheap market where you literally find anything you need. It was so cheap I could not believe it. There is also a wide variety to choose from. Prices are also clearly labelled and easy for foreigners to shop without wondering if they got the best value for money. The pet section was also exciting...some strange animals like snakes etc...all new and made me appreciate cultural diversity. Also easy to get there via sky train.

It felt safe to shop there.
Interesting modern park, modern design which incorporates rain garden design, paths shaded by trees, several styles of swings to relax on around a large pond, have fun operating waterwheels powered by cycling. Includes sculpture and a playground.

Amazing manicured park, busy with early morning joggers and people using the exercise equipment. Beautiful orchid flowers in massed displays. Many wonderful community features, recycling plastic bottles bin and bottle wall, sharing library, great array of edible plants with labels in Thai and also English botanical names, excellent labelling and most appreciated. Spot the wildlife, big monitor lizard, turtles, birds and squirrels 🐿️ 😍
Recently renovated and opened for public.
If you feel lonely, come and visit this place.
Relaxing at night. Daylight have too much traffic noise pollution.
Just the right size park. Nice atmosphere in the evening. Kids enjoyed kick skating. However, the pathways are a bit narrow, so it is suitable for strolling.
There is a cafe on site. Parking is outside the site and we paid 50b. If you shop, it seems to be free.
Dog droppings are on the ground, so it's a 4.★

Actually a nice idea to upgrade an otherwise unattractive urban structure. The canal "park" connects with Chong Nonsi BTS station, Sathorn BRT station and has a direct entry to Empire Tower. I've spent many lunch breaks here with some food or fruits I got from nearby and it didn't really get that hot because the skyscrapers give enough shade. In the evening the walkways light up and it's very aesthetically pleasing. Hopefully they continue developing the project further. Planting more greens amid the concrete jungle is always a nice sight.
"Relax in art and nature."
The beautiful buildings seen from the lawn and the lawn and trees seen from the buildings attract visitors here. Art is scattered throughout the building, making it a great place to stroll. If you have young children, the best place to go is around the pond with its playground equipment and waterwheel; the Amazon Cafe is also on site, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the beautiful sunset. The unusual design of the tile building is worth a visit.

Fee:Free
Parking:No
The parking lot of the shopping center "iampark" next to the park is close by
Free for the first 30 minutes 30THB for 1 hour after that *Free for 1 hour with 100THB or more, free for 2 hours with 200THB or more. Get a stamp.
Note: Some of the waterwheel play equipment in the pond is broken, so small children should be careful. Regular repairs and inspections would make the park more wonderful.

Not your "normal park"... Think more along the lines of a late afternoon lovers promenade.. an urban green space that offers the backdrop of plants and sky scrapers against the artificial slopes built over a canal. Different - yes. Photo opportunities galore. Child friendly? A flat no, unless the adrenaline rush of saving your child from every jagged rock, open water source and unprotected drop is your thing. (Did I mention no swings, slides or sandpit either?)
Do make an effort for an early morning or sunset shoot.. zero shade and with the heat radiating of every surface.. your glamour would be on the pavement in a puddle of sweat as soon as of you step of Chong Nonsi BTS - the closest stop as well.

Hats, water and umbrellas.. come armed for the weather.. there is no shelter from a sudden downpour either.

Happy photo-shooting!!

Nice and small public recreational park. It's total area wouldn't be over 1000 square yards which surely doesn't fit into the definition of a public park. It has a good jogging track and the small artificial water pond surrounding green plants and flowers. There's also a corner for old ladies to paddle and kids to see-saw. The oval shaped bituminous jogging track is about 500-700m in circumference.

One of the unique park with nice graffiti around the park. The painting always change time to time by the artists. The park quite small and not well maintenance. There is no parking space. Mostly young visitors here for the photo shoot.
Just few mins walk from Chong Non Si BTS station and Mahanakhon building. 1st phase (small portion) is open for now and still construction is going on. It looks like when finished it will be a good place to sit and relax but for now, the canal is a bit smelly when I visited. Hopefully when it is fully constructed and functional the place will be worthy to visit.

Chalerm La Park, also called Chaloemla Gardens, is an open ground space in Bangkok known for photoshoots (especially among tourists), and a sepak takraw court where mostly locals play.

Big part of the grounds is covered with grass, and its huge wide walls are designed with street art, so it's best for street fashion shoots or portraiture. The park is good stop when you're in a walking tour, and there are benches for you to rest on. The nearby alleys and small streets are also great backdrops for photos. Very Instagrammable! Worth a stop for maybe 30 minutes.
